Thought Lashley was really on fire, popularity wise, when he was the US Champ a year or 2 back. Not really sure why, but I was really enjoying his work around this time and glad he got the world title run too. Didn't know he was 48! Dude looks great.
I'd take a run with he and MVP in AEW, for sure.
Lashley and the Street Profits seemed like they could work as a fire trio, even giving the Profits a more aggressive edge. But after the Final Testament feud it just petered out.

I’ll wait for the WWE “future endeavours” post and not just go on Meltzer. However Woods’s immediate reaction and the possibility of WWE possibly leaking false info to try and work this still remains.
I still wouldn’t put it past them to sell it a bit.

Hard to say. That was 20+ years ago and while the idea here is obviously using one of the biggest names ever in comparison to an absolute nobody, it was a totally different company, different world almost.
Yeah, WWE really doesn’t act consistently in these situations. If you have yet to actually be given your big break, then they’ll definitely drop you if someone so much as says you’re a litterbug. Or something entirely out of your control, such as Muhammad Hassan. However, someone like Macho Man, who had similar allegations against him, ended up in the Hall of Fame.
I think it's an endeavor thing now. They don't want the bad publicity so they squash it quickly.
Sounds like Hogan signed a new legends deal. meh
It is probably about the publicity, which is sad.
