So how do the buttons work? Thats the main thing I'm wanting to know more than anything. I heard rumblings about using the sticks to punch and thats an automatic NO-BUY for me.

By default you punch and kick using the sticks ála Fight Night. You can switch it to the face buttons instead if you prefer it that way though.

I hate using sticks for striking, especially when you have to wind them. There's too much room for error, and counterstriking takes longer that way as opposed to just pressing the jab button.

Yeah and in fight night, you don't have to worry about being taken down. You also can't throw kicks, knees or elbows, nor can you fight from within the clinch. I think the system works great in fight night, but this is an extremely different animal.

So basically they made it completely the opposite from UFC.. lol how clever.

I like that you can change the controls to your liking. I can't punch with sticks. I sucked horribley at Fight Night.

From what I have seen the EASMMA controls will be just fine. Simple and intiuative yet allowing for some very technical fighting. Also, none of that 'shining' shit breaking peoples hand-controllers. There's practically 0 button mashing/stick swiggling in this game, it's all about skill and timing.

There's also the photoface function so there should be some really cool CAF's being made.

I'm really hoping that there is something in CAF that will allow red/white/black checkered shorts...

Yeah... twirling the stick is no fun at all. I wish it'd be more like how SvR has it set up.

Just by looking at that vid, it looks like character models in UFC are far superior, but the overall presentation and "feel" are much better here. I skip all the introductions in UFC because Bruce Buffer is as boring in the game as he is exciting in real life.

Anyone know if there's a confirmed demo to be released?

I'm not sure if you've ever been to a live UFC event Olympus but Buffer is honestly not even close to boring live...

He jumps around and screams his head off pointing at he fighters. It's great.

Edit: I did indeed misread you Olympus. My bad.

I agree that the furious stick rotation in 2010 is horrid. Having to pause for a minute just because the ball of your thumb is exhausted isn't a good feature in a video game.

yeah and its fucking nearly impossible to do submissions in 2010. I LOOOOOOVED 2009 and I love everything about 2010s improvments to the overall game .. EXCEPT the damn submissions cuz I just can't do em. Got lucky every now and then but it got aggravating so I traded it in for the other one and put the rest down on a pre-order for CoD: Black Ops.

Ya, the only way to pull one off is to land a million body strikes and then rock them, and it usually takes every bit of two or three rounds to get their stamina low enough to pull it off.

And even then it's not a sure thing. Yet somehow the computer still manages to easily sub me from time to time in the 1st.

Yeah, I was able to use Maia and Dan Miller to outgrapple people for a couple roudns with knees and get a sub, but fuck it took so long and was boring.

YES! Sorry this got misunderstood by everyone. I love real life Buffer... he builds up the excitement, and I love it when even the fighters feed off of him (like Dan Hardy before his title fight). But in the game... it's just not as good. I guess it's hard to muster up that kind of emotion in a recording studio. It's the same with the SvR games.

Coming off Dream.16 and UFC 119 there's lots of rumors and stories going around.

-Yes, it's true. Matt Mitrione really did fire his manager in his post-fight interview at UFC 119.

-Efrain Escudero has been working closely with Bellator on coming to the organization. It appears to be a lock, but he will meet with Strikeforce this upcoming week.

-The news is probably out by now, but when Cro Cop and Frank Mir were in the clinch, Cro Cop said something along the lines of 'I really want to knee you', Frank Mir responded with 'You can try, but just watch the nuts'.

-Sakuraba still plans on competing in MMA with Dream.

-M-1 Global's Evgeni Kogan has been in New York in order to 'bypass'
Strikeforce and work a deal directly with Showtime to extend his contract with the two companies. It looks like negotiations are going well.

-Din Thomas' first WEC fight looks like it will be against Javier Vasquez, a bout that was supposed to go down at The Ultimate Chaos in 2009.

-Georges St. Pierre's visit to Manila was set up by the UFC in order to gauge the popularity of the sport in the Philippines. Don't be surprised if Dana announces the UFC will be making a stop in the Philippines in 2011.

-Despite the rumors, Cro Cop will not be released from the UFC.

-I think this goes without saying, but Dana White was not happy with UFC 119's main event and he verbally expressed it multiple times last night after the card.

-Strong rumor going around that Cro Cop earned $1.1 million for stepping in for Big Nog at UFC 119.

-Satoshi Ishii plans to return to Blackhouse in Los Angeles (for 'an extended period of time') to continue his training.

-Judging from the unprecedented amount of emails that I have received, the crowd in Indianapolis was not happy with UFC 119.

-Had a conversation with a UFC fighter (who I will not name) that told me
most fighters in the UFC are so fearful of ZUFFA's 'one-and-done' policy that they go into bouts to 'play it safe' in order to 'not put it all out there' which may lead to fights that some fans consider to be 'lackluster'. All those quotes are his, not mine.

-There's still a relatively strong chance that Chael Sonnen may be exonerated in this whole 'UFC 117 steroid scandal'. The rumor is that
Team Quest has injected Chael Sonnen with direct 'testosterone' in the past and there doesn't seem to be an explicit policy against it.

-A few weeks ago, I mentioned that G4TV intends to push their MMA venture full force in 2011. Now it looks like Bjorn Rebney may drop his deal with Fox Sports Net and hop aboard with G4TV. Currently, the network has been showing muay-thai events which have been met with some moderate success.

-Sean McCorkle may have called out Matt Mitrione after his UFC 119 win, but it appears that Sean McCorkle has already verbally agreed to fight Meathead even before UFC 119.

-Pat Miletich was slated to make his UFC return sometime last year, but a near physical altercation with Dana White ended his chances of returning to the organization.

-Fedor vs. Bigfoot Silva will not happen. Instead, we may be in store for Valentijn Overeem vs. Bigfoot Silva.

-Mariusz Pudzianowski will not be fighting in KSW 15. It seems like the organization wants to introduce their up-and-comers and having Pudz headline a card isn't the way to do it.

-Caol Uno declined to fight at Dream 16. It looks like he just may be done with MMA.

-Dana White's rant on Josh Barnett in his interview with Ariel Helwani was directly related to Barnett signing with Strikeforce.

-There may be another women's MMA reality show in the works similar to 'Fight Girls'. It will not be associated with NBC's new show 'Ultimate Women's Challenge'.

-It's not MMA related, but FEG execs are trying to stage a Arlovski vs. Overeem in the 2010 K-1 World GP. It's dependent on if both fighters can get through the first round.

-Australia's Impact FC seems to now be defunct.

I'm inclined to feel sorry for Cro Cop but 1.1 mil kind of eases that feeling for me.

The UFC really shouldn't cut TUF winners, it's lose lose for them whatever happens.

This is unfortunate. I've seen it used for only $30 at some places and was thinking of picking it up. I guess I'll have to wait until the next game because what you guys have described sucks.

    I can guess which ones.

Seriusly though, for me solid gameplay takes precedence over any in-game fighters, announcers or octagons.

Aside from the pain in the ass submission, this game is a must-buy. I mean, I guess you can wait for 2011, but who's to say the developers will change the way you do submissions? Possible, but not 100% for sure. They need to though, that shit is going to break PS3 controllers more often than we would like.

Still, it's a great game, the career mode and title modes are incredible, other than Couture and a handful of newbies from the last year it has all the best guys in the UFC.

Downloaded the demo, it seems pretty good so far. Lashley's standup is 81 (Overeem has 89 for comparison)

If Lashley is 81 .. then Overeem should be like 97

Dan Henderson (83) has a higher stand-up rating than Melvin Manhoef (82), the developers explained it like this:

"When determining Melvin Manhoef’s striking ratings, we factor in takedowns and takedown defense into the Stand Up overall. Takedowns are not his forte and he’s not efficient at sprawling – so all those factors are taken into consideration when we develop a fighter’s overall Stand Up rating. For a middleweight he has max power in hands and his feet. He's also one point shy of max on speed for punching and kicking. He is in the middle for punch and kick range."

K so after playing the demo for a fair bit, I dislike it quite a bit. The stand up seems fun.. but there's never the opportunity for a stand up war, or even any point in it:

The ground game is awful. You advance position by pressing one button, and get to mount by just pressing A over and over again, even when you are on the bottom, as when you are in full guard and press A you sweep them into half guard. When they try and advance the controller vibrates and you can just hold B whenever this happens and it stops them. Even on the highest difficulty it's very easy to win inside like a minute by getting to full mount, especially as a few punches from there even when they are blocking knocks them out. Even if your opponent sprawls when you try a takedown it never goes back to standing so you can just press A and get a dominant position.

Like I said standup seems fun but you never get a chance to use it properly as it always ends in a ridiculously shit clinch position, or the CPU spams takedowns and you are on your back. Where you can just press A over and over again and win really easily...

The face buttons for grappling seemed odd to me.

I played for a grand total of 10 minutes. The control scheme is WAY awkward granted that may be in part because I'm so used to Undisputed 2010. Either way, I could not get a grip on the right stick striking bs.

I already know I won't like the striking with the sticks. I think the sticks really do work better for the grappling, but I think that the actual submission.. like securing and finishing it.. should be on the buttons.

I love the striking with the sticks, the striking is the only thing I like. It's very fluid and you can throw combos way easier than in Undisputed.

A.I spamming takedowns seems to be he biggest complaint all around from what I can see. If it was just Lashley instantly shooting on Reem I would compliment the games A.I for recognizing it would get trashed standing up. But from I have read CPU Alistair shoots in just as quick if you are playing as Lashley. Not good.

Good news is that the demo is the July version of the game, they've had another 2-3 months to polish things since then.

    /Also:

-You CAN T/KO from HG even though you can't posture.
    -You CAN T/KO from SC
-You CAN'T T/KO from FG down
-You CAN'T T/KO from Mount down
-Posturing is done by the stand up button. Mount has a posture and FG has 2 postures.
-Parry is RT + RS and a direction (TSC) OR RT + X / Y (Classic). It deflects the shots and they lose stamina.
-Catch is LT+RT+RS and a direction (TSC) OR LT+RT+X/Y (Classic) It catches shots in Mount/FG posture and let's you get wrist control from top/bottom. Top you can pound away with 1 hand and bottom you can land little shots, sweep, or transition into a sub smoothly.
-On classic controls the buttons on the ground do different strikes. Example: Mount -> X/Y = Hammer fists A/B = Hooks. You can also use the LS to modify it even further from FG.

Little bit of a classic control guide:

    Standing
    LT = High/Low
    Y= Right Punch
    X= Left Punch
    A = Left Kick
    B = Right Kick

    Forward + Punch = Hook
    Down + Punch = Uppercut
    Punch = Jab/Straight
    High/Low + direction + punches = Body shots

Forward + Kick = Head Kick
Back + Kick = Push Kick
    Kick = Leg kick
    High/Low + Kick = Body kick

    Clinch

    MT:
    X/Y = Dirty boxing
    A/B = Knees to head
    LS + X/Y = Elbows
    LT + A/B = Knees to body
    RS forward = Takedown

    xxxHooks:
    X/Y = Body shots
    A/B = Body knees
    LT + A/B = Foot stomps (Cage)
    RS forward = Takedown

    Might be of some help?

I doubt they've changed their awful grappling system since July which means you can win inside a minute whoever you play as by pressing two buttons.

I can't strike with sticks. It's not even remotely a possibility.

Aside from that, the idea of grappling with the face buttons seems like a completely horrible idea.. espescially if you're trying to play online.

lol mma journalists make me laugh sometimes .. there's a poll on mmajunkie asking if you're surprised that Karo came back .. no biggie .. then it goes on to ask if Daley has a good shot at coming back now that Karo has ..

Really? Cuz having personal problems and pulling out of a fight is the same as blatently sucker-punching someone AFTER THE BELL ..

that's like not even the same state that houses the same city which would own the same ballpark... I mean.. you're comparing pulling out of a fight to sticking someone in the face after you lost ..

Having issues and just plain being a dick aren't the same thing. Not surprised to see Karo back.. would be surprised to see Daley back.

The things Karo and Daley did are entirely different, yes, but they both got the same "you'll never, ever, fucking EVER fight in the UFC again you lousy piece of shit" send-off from Dana White, and now Karo is back. So in a way I'd say that it's perfectly fine to compare the two. I don't think we'll be seeing Daley in the UFC again, but who knows.

I suppose, but I mean .. Karo's been around the UFC for a long time now and I guess thats what makes it less surprising to me to see him being given the chances. To me, though.. Karo never broke any rules or anything. He just bitched out at the last minute a couple times for whatever reason. He's got issues.. his issues were outside the cage though. Daley assaulted someone AFTER a fight at a live event being broadcast to hundreds of thousands.. I mean, to me.. that's just a totally different scenario when talking about whether or not someone is allowed back.

-Whatever comeback to MMA Gina Carano planned will be put on hold. Carano is working with Steven Spielberg and JJ Abrams on a new movie project entitled 'Super 8'. She was flown off the set of 'Haywire' to work on this 'highly secretive' project.

-The 'Ultimate Women's Challenge' has been delayed from airing again. We first told you about this show over a year ago and it looks like it's still running into problems. My guess is that sometime in 2011 we will finally be able to watch this reality show.

-ZUFFA will be recutting the UFC 120 television spot that mentioned Cain has the chance of being 'the first Mexican heavyweight' after they received complaints from some of their sponsors, specifically Boost Mobile.

-After Chan Sung Jung's manager offered to buy back 'The Korean Zombie' shirts from fans after his WEC 51 loss, some 'fans' actually sent their old shirts in for a full refund.

-If any of you expect to see Mike Tyson in a cage anytime soon, don't bet on it. Tyson has reportedly said that he would never start MMA at this point in his life.

-Wandy was dressed like a History professor earlier this week in order to
film a segment for the Fighters Only MMA award show.

-Now that Comcast cable carries HDNet, Time Warner Cable will most likely follow suit within a few weeks.

-Despite a few reports that have been floating around, Renzo Gracie is still under contract with the UFC.

-Antonio McKee vs. Jacob Volkmann is being slated for UFC 125. The rumor is McKee wanted a bigger name to welcome him into the UFC.

-The rumor has been floating around for nearly a year, but people have suggested that Electronic Arts will purchase THQ and inherit the ZUFFA license from their UFC Undisputed franchise. However, it will be far more complicated than that.
The Korean Zombie bit makes me sick, fucking fair-weather fairies, hate them. Think I will actually go and order the new KZ shirt just because of that.

Speaking of shirts, received my ''FREE LEE MURRAY'' t-shirt in the mail today. Love it.

I agree with his take on fighters and round-winners. It's completely true. There are definitely guys that are just going out there to win rounds and not finish fights. Which is understandable, but makes me wish the US had penalty cards.

Bjorn Rebney really believes in Eddie Alvarez .. so much so that he came out on Junkie Radio today and said that he and Bellator would fully support Eddie Alvarez fighting Gilbert Melendez anywhere in the world on any TV station. He said they could do it at the HP Pavillion in San Jose on Showtime during a Strikeforce card.

    I like that. That's balls.

He also mentioned that there are absolutely no restrictions or hassles on this fight coming from Bellator's end. Basically saying that if it doesn't happen, its because of Strikeforce not doing it and not the other way around.

    Some new rumors/stuff.

-After the Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Noons II card, Nick Diaz was walking in the hallway of the HP Pavilion to attend the post-fight press conference. Simultaneously, the guys at Showtime was ushering Mayhem Miller out of the post-fight press conference in order to prevent another Strikeforce: Tennessee. From what I was told, Mayhem was supposed to exit out of the post-fight press conference doors and take a right, while Nick Diaz was going to enter the room in the opposite direction.
In short, both fighters would have never crossed paths if this initial plan actually worked, however things sort of 'screwed up'. As Mayhem Miller was walking down the corridor, he abruptly turned around and walked the other way. As the two were approaching each other, things seemed to be somewhat civil. Out of nowhere, Nick Diaz launched a water bottle directly at Mayhem's face -- almost at point-blank range. It hit Mayhem directly in the face, water exploded everywhere and Miller looked stunned. Security got in-between the two and Nick Diaz held his arms up and said 'Come on you fat [expletive]!'. He then tried shoving the security away to get close to Mayhem while screaming 'Let's do it right now!'. Nick Diaz managed to get within swinging distance, and then more security jumped in and held back Nick and finally got him to walk in the opposite direction, towards the post-fight press conference room. This altercation happened outside of the locker rooms. This is not a rumor, it's 100% true.

-Kawajiri vs. Kitaoka will probably go down at Dynamite!! 2010.

-There was a guy on the UG that made some rather outrageous claims regarding WEC/UFC, so in order to stay true to the rumor mill format, I will let you guys know what they are, starting with the rumor that the UFC is looking to leave Spike TV and hop aboard NBC/Universal. Apparently, that's the reason why the UFC is now on Versus.

-The UFC will absorb the lightweight talent of WEC and the organization will be kept around to contend with Bellator.

-This same guy also claims that Urijah Faber will be a coach on The Ultimate Fighter in 2011.

-The UFC may debut on NBC as early as the 2nd quarter of 2011 (sounds rather ridiculous).

-Alistair Overeem will be in the UFC by 2011 (another rather ridiculous claim).

-Versus will most likely be rebranded to NBC Sports.

-And finally, the UFC shows this year were 'stress tests' to see if ZUFFA can handle the new NBC TV deal which they plan to roll out in 2011. We also could see the UFC on G4 TV sometime next year. Personally, I don't believe any of this stuff, but it's a rumor nonetheless.

-There was a huge judging error in last night's Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Noons II.

-The Japanese camp, U-File, vs. Sengoku may happen at Dynamite!! 2010.

-Don't be surprised if you hear EA Sports announce they are creating a K-1 game for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in a few months.

The only reason I can really believe the NBC deal is that NBC has been fairly happy with the ratings that the Bellator highlights show have been bringing them, but they know they're not gonna get much more ratings than they are with Bellator. They could be using Bellator to test the waters of their audience. Whatever Bellator draws, obviously the UFC could draw 4x more. .. UFC is on Versus to help WEC draw more. Remember when they did their 2 shows on there earlier in the year .. they ran WEC ads the whole time. Its to make people more aware of whats also on that channel .. possibly to build the brand name more before going to NBC?!?!

If there was any way in hell that Overeem could get out of the Strikeforce deal, I'm sure Dana would spend the moon to get him in now.

The Faber/TUF thing is out of context because he said there will be a WEC-version of the Ultimate Fighter, possibly to help develop the Flyweight division more. Faber/Torres would be perfect for it, in my opinion.

Diaz/Mayhem would be great. I love Diaz, but I think Mayhem would win.

I wonder what the judging error was . .. ?

I'd recommend downloading it, Hammer. It was a good event, from start to finish. Thomson/Cavalcante and Daiz/Noons were both great fights. The women's fight was actually pretty good too. Woodley/Galvao was a good KO.

Exactly. At first I thought they scored one of the rounds as 10-10. It turns out that they can't do simple arithmatic.

Could've been worse, could've been like Serra/Thomas when they announced Serra as the winner, only to find out when they got to the back the score cards were added up wrong and Din was the actual winner.....

So OD .. I really fucking hate the controls for this EA MMA game. I knew I would and I do. I've tried a few different sets of controls and I just hate them all. It sucks cuz the game looks really cool and the presentation is fresh.

EDIT: okay im starting to get it .. I'll keep you updated.. I know you're DYING TO KNOW. lol.

Solid roster, cool locations, shitty gameplay....Everyone I know has pretty much said the exact same thing. Sucks, if it had better controls it'd be a for sure buy but I'm going to just wait for it to come via GameFly.

You can change it to something thats pretty similiar to the UFC game's controls, but its just not as consistent. I'm just playing the demo right now.

My friend told me that would be an option, if that's the case and it's a more traditional button mashing method then this game could possibly wind up purchased brand new as opposed to used. I hope they worked on the CPU constantly shooting for the takedown.

    APPARENTLY

Fedor and co. are meeting with Showtime Execs today to discuss signing him to more fights past the last on his contract and they're talking about bringing M-1 EVENTS to showtime as part of it.

I would find it kind of odd if Showtime wanted to have Strikeforce and M-1 Global on their channel. I wouldn't mind seeing some M-1 shows I guess, but that just sounds stange that they would have both.

Read up on fan reviews of the demo, scroll through what me and dub were talking about. Just an unflattering control scheme that doesn't translate well into MMA like it does for Fight Night with using the right stick instead of the buttons to strike, just a weird way of putting it together, seems like they wanted to be TOO different than the UFC.

Ya know, M-1 has to be the only reason I don't like hearing about Fedor.

Ken Shamrock won his 2nd fight in 6 years this weekend, beating Jonathan Ivey (29-46?) in a UD.

That's cool. Ken should retire, but if he's going to keep fighting he shouldn't go against much touger competition than that.

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9weGXFP8mA&feature=player_embedded"]YouTube - USA-MMA 035.MPG[/ame]

    Rumor mill:

-This really isn't that much of a shocker considering Dana White made UFC the 'unstoppable frate trane' that it is, but in getting the sport legalized/authorized in other parts of the world, Dana White (or more likely a collection of people) attempted to push something they've coined (and are in the process of trademarking) as 'UFC combative sports'. This would distinguish the UFC from 'MMA' and essentially greenlight 'UFC combative sports' under the UFC/ZUFFA banner in parts of the world where other MMA organizations can't host events. Some of you may be confused and granted, I'm not doing a great job explaining this, but in short, ZUFFA is trying to distinguish UFC from MMA and get 'UFC combative sports' legalized in certain local governments while 'MMA' would still be 'illegal'.
Great business tactic if you want to dominate the sport. I'm sure I will receive a 'cease and desist' notification sometime this week regarding this 'rumor', so read it while you can.

-As of Thursday, FEG has contacted M-1 Global in order to get Fedor Emelianenko to participate in Dynamite!! 2010. No opponent has been named.

-Bas Rutten is trying to pitch a show that would mimic 'The Office' but be centered around 'relationship battles'.

-Last week at Strikeforce San Jose, I overheard someone from the media ask Scott Coker if they would be having a Strikeforce heavyweight grand-prix. Coker responded with 'I can't talk too much about that right now, but definitely some exciting stuff coming in the future'.

-At this point, Batista vs. Lashley is pretty much a lock, but expect some announcement to come by the end of 2010.

-I feel like a huge yenta telling you guys this, but here's the deal. Everyone has their own preference of the opposite sex, that's undeniable. We don't adhere to a carbon copy of the human body, and nether does Georges St. Pierre. Some of you out there already knew this, but GSP likes chicks that aren't -- skinny. The guy likes thick chicks and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. More power to him.

-The 'Jerry Maquire' kid (Jonathan Lipnicki) is getting in shape to star in a movie 'based on MMA-fighters'. Not sure what that even means, but that's what I was told. On another note, the kid is nineteen. Is it really that hard to get in shape when you're a teenager?

-A German MMA site broke the EA Sports MMA embargo and published an in-depth review of the game before the October 19th launch date. I'm sure if you Google hard enough, you'll be able to find it. Great review though. EA Sports doesn't plan on taking legal action towards the site.

-Yoshihiro Akiyama will not be cut from the UFC, despite some premature reports.

-Omigawa has called out Shinya Aoki to a bout at Dynamite!! 2010. To boot, he allegedly insulted his gym in order for him to accept the fight. Omigawa is on verbal warpath right now.

-When Alistair Overeem met the designers of EA Sports MMA for the first time, he seriously asked one of the designers to see why he was 'so fat'. Needless to say, they abruptly altered his character before the game was finished.

-I briefly mentioned it in last week's Sunday Morning Rumor Mill, but there aren't enough attorneys on this planet that could enable the Nick Diaz vs. Mayhem Miller scuffle video from Strikeforce Diaz vs. Noons II to be legally released. I tried my best people.

I'm surprised UFC isn't stacking the TUF finale a little more if it's going heads up with Strikeforce featuring Dan Henderson and Paul Daley. Daley vs Scott Smith should be fireworks. I will not be tuning in live for TUF.

    Good for Kenny. I think.

they were talkin about Akiyama on junkie, defending him basically. no reason to cut him. all of his fights have been pretty good. if he really wanted to be competitive, he could cut weight to 170. he'd really just have to lose some muscle mass .. but he's 35 so he probably wouldn't go that route. he's a decent international draw and puts on good fights .. no reason to cut him really.

For sure. Akiyama is not a 185'er by UFC standards, if possible he should go down to 170. He's about the same size and height as GSP and Kos.

Will this be on CBS or Showtime?

I think TUF Finale is stacked enough when you consider really the only 2 fighters who will bring viewers is Hendo and Herschel Walker. They have Bonnar, Maia, Grove, the finals, I think both shows are pretty even.

The fight I'm looking forward to is Lawler/Lindland, to see if Lindland's chin can handle Lawler's fists. Fuckin hate that dude.

Shit that explains it even more as to why the UFC didn't go above and beyond. I mean, I think the card for the finale is stacked with names and good fights that are on par with what Strikeforce is doing.

Maia/Grove is really the only thing on the TUF card that I care enough about to watch live. If it goes heads up with anything on the Strikeforce card OTHER than Herschel, I'll be watching Strikeforce. I don't give a damn about watching Herschel walker fight.
