Johnny Kidd vs "Flying" Phil Powers
    Middleweight Contest

In what is an interesting clash of styles, the notorious technical wrestling ability of Johnny Kidd goes up against the all-round, rough style of "Flying" Phil Powers.

Johnny Kidd, a veteran from the days of ITV's World of Sport wrestling show, is one of the most respected wrestlers in the country, and with a recent contest in RBW against fellow technical wrestling great, Steve Grey, has done nothing but further his reputation as being one of the country's all-time greats, and someone who still has a lot to offer in the ring.

Opposing Kidd, is the loudmouth "Flying" Phil Powers. Powers, despite not having the experience of Johnny Kidd, is no rookie in his own right, having been wrestling for the last twelve years. The controversial wrestler has made himself a lot of enemies in recent years, and is likely to not mind adding Johnny Kidd to that list.

With no set goal in this contest, other than to win, both wrestlers will be looking for a successful win, in what has the ability to be a very intriguing contest.

    Kid Regis vs Professor Ikeda
    British Welterweight Championship

Crowned in February 2005, the current British Welterweight Champion, Kid Regis, is yet to defend the Championship in a straight contest (after defending it in a Championship vs Championship contest with "Misfit" Jorge Castano back in March), since he won it in Chingford, London.

However, the first defence has finally been scheduled for this event, where he locks horns with the masked mystery wrestler, Professor Ikeda.

Professor Ikeda is currently undefeated in RBW, and if he gained the Championship in this match, his reputation would grow even higher.

With Professor Ikeda being a very difficult wrestler to prepare for, Kid Regis will be looking to do what it takes in order to make his Championship defence a success.

Exeter, Devon Wrestling Training This Saturday

This Saturday's training session in Exeter, Devon sees the session taken by the regular trainer, the UK Kid.

The location of the RBW Exeter Training Centre has been moved to the Fitness First gym. Details of the centre's location can be found below or on our website.

The new centre is more ideal for the wrestling training sessions.

The UK Kid is one of the select few wrestlers who has managed to have a successful career both in Great Britain as well as abroad. The UK Kid began his career in the UK, turning pro at 16. At the age of just 18, he moved to San Antonio, Texas, where he trained and graduated at the wrestling training school of famous American wrestler, WWE superstar, Shawn Michaels.

For the following years, the UK Kid wrestled extensively for over seventeen promotions in the USA, whilst sometimes returning to the UK to compete over here for various tours. At the age of 20, the UK Kid became a trainer himself in America, and around the same time, worked alongside some of the biggest names in American independent wrestling.

Now aged 23, the UK Kid is returning to Great Britain once again following his last trip last year that saw him compete for RBW in February. This time round we have already seen him in the ring on several occasions, where he has impressed and looks to have a bright future.

    Saturday 4th June 2005
    Ryan Hall, Chingford, London
    Live British Wrestling

The Ryan Hall in Chingford, North-East London, has become practically the only venue in the North of London to see British wrestling on a regular basis, since the start of events there in March 2004. Now in June 2005, a total of six events have already taken place, with the seventh set to take place on Saturday 4th June.

Past events in Chingford, London have been exciting times, with the likes of Johnny Kidd, "Wildcat" Robbie Brookside, "Wonderkid" Jonny Storm, "Misfit" Jorge Castano, Sammy Ray, Steve Grey, "Flying" Phil Powers and plenty more, all proving the point that British wrestling is the best wrestling in the world.

At the last show, we saw an incredible bout between two of the greatest technical wrestlers in British wrestling history, Johnny Kidd and Steve Grey. The contest was well-received and will go into history as being one of the top contests to date.

June's event sees the daytime taken up by a special training seminar with former WWE wrestler and star of ITV's Celebrity Wrestling, D'Lo Brown, with the evening seeing another night of top wrestling, presented by Revolution British Wrestling.

Confirmed for the show are the following bouts:

"Filthy" Phil Powers vs Eamon O'Neil

Known as being one of Britain's most controversial wrestlers, "Filthy" Phil Powers, formerly known as "Flying", is making a strong impression in RBW this year, picking up several victories, and staking his claim as being one of the country's top wrestlers at the current time.

Powers has a tough battle on his hands in Chingford, going up against the Irish powerhouse, Eamon O'Neil. O'Neil is widely tipped for success in the future, and holds a clear size advantage over Phil Powers.

It is hard to predict the outcome of this contest, but we are sure that their respective abilities will combine into what is likely to be a great contest.

"The Bulldozer" Carl Clinton vs Sammy Ray

Last month's Chingford event saw "The Bulldozer" Carl Clinton make his first in-ring appearance, in tag team action with "Demolition" Dave Maverick, taking on the team of Riccardo Young and Sammy Ray, who was replacing the injured Bobby Hostile.

With an impressive background in training, Clinton looks to be one of the most fearsome wrestlers to have graced the ring in a long time.

Following their tag team loss, Clinton has demanded a match against Sammy Ray, claiming that he will be able to defeat him and perhaps cause Ray some long-term damage.

Sammy Ray still holds onto the number 1 ranking, in the overall top 10 wrestlers in RBW. With fans hoping that 2005 will see him regain some Championship gold, a victory over Carl Clinton would certainly help him on his way to this.

Andy Boy Simmonz vs Professor Ikeda

Andy Boy Simmonz is one of the most promising middleweights in British wrestling, and after defeating long-term rival Eamon O'Neil recently, he looks ready to rise on the ladder of success.

Unfortunately his next scheduled contest sees him against the masked mystery wrestler, Professor Ikeda. Ikeda has been causing waves around the country in recent months, making short work of all opponents. Only recently, it has been revealed that he is the next masked star, to be guided by Lloyd Ryan, former manager of the legendary Kendo Nagasaki.

With a huge element of uncertainty in the contest, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

Project Future vs "Demolition" Dave Maverick & "The Made Man" Tino Caesar

Rookie tag team Project Future, individually known as Riccardo Young and Bobby Hostile, have made a strong impression since their tag team debut back in November last year.

Keen to rise in the tag team ranks, they have accepted all challengers to date and don't look to be slowing down any time soon.

At the Chingford event, the team providing the opposition are "Demolition" Dave Maverick and "The Made Man" Tino Caesar.

Dave Maverick picked up a win over Project Future's Riccardo Young at the last Chingford event, which gives him further confidence in this contest.

Making his debut at the side of Maverick will be America's Tino Caesar. Caesar is one of the most exciting prospects in RBW, having trained extensively at the RBW London Training Centre, and now looking to get into active competition.

    RBW Results From Chingford, London
    Saturday 4th June 2005

Saturday 4th June saw another RBW event take place at the Ryan Hall in Chingford, London for the seventh time.

Not short on surprises, the advertised line-up still took place as originally announced, yet surprise appearances from former WWE wrestler and Celebrity Wrestling superstar D'Lo Brown and NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion "Boston Bad Boy" Jason Rumble made sure that the evening was well worth remembering.

    Full results are as follows:

Match One - Sammy Ray def "The Bulldozer" Carl Clinton

Match Two - "Filthy" Phil Powers def Eamon O'Neil

Match Three - Professor Ikeda def Andy Boy Simmonz

Interval - Former WWE wrestler and Celebrity Wrestling superstar D'lo Brown made a personal appearance following the training seminar earlier in the day, to sign autographs with the fans

Match Four - Project Future vs "Demolition" Dave Maverick & "The Made Man" Tino Caesar ended in a no-contest after "Filthy" Phil Powers attacked Project Future and some of the RBW Exeter Training Centre graduates. Luckily, Sammy Ray came to the rescue and told Powers that he had found him an opponent to challenge him for later on

Match Five - UK Kid def Chris Andrews

Match Six - NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion "Boston Bad Boy" Jason Rumble def "Filthy" Phil Powers. Professor Ikeda then ran out to attack Sammy Ray (who was at ringside during the contest) and was swiftly followed by Erin Angel, "The Bulldozer" Carl Clinton, "Demolition" Dave Maverick & "The Made Man" Tino Caesar. Thankfully, Eamon O'Neil, Andy Boy Simmonz and Project Future rescued Rumble and Ray, chasing off the attackers.

The next Chingford event is scheduled for Saturday 23rd July. Tickets are on sale now. For more information on this event, please visit www.revolutionbritishwrestling.co.uk .

    THE PSYCHO CIRCUS / 5-ON-5 ELIMINATION MATCH / NO-DQ
"Superstar" Dickie Rodz, Tony Burma, Mike Spinelli, Papadon & Havok vs
Mason Raige, Mikey Whipwreck, Joey Braggiol, Mega & Disturbed Damien Dragon

Each January, NYWC fans can be sure to start off the new year with a bang as the New York Wrestling Connection presents the most brutal, sadistic, intense match in professional wrestling, the Psycho Circus! This 5-on-5 elimination contest features such delights as tables, ladders and chairs, as well as a healthy amount of barbed wire, and rumor has it that Commissioner Whipwreck might even put Dickie Rodz's title on the line! More details on this epic match are still to come, but one thing is already confirmed... the Psycho Circus will be truly insane!
    Jerry Lynn vs Grim Reefer
In what should be one of the most anticipated and impressive matchups on the card, Jerry Lynn and Grim Reefer will go head-to-head in a battle of two former longtime NYWC Champions. Lynn only recently lost his title to Dickie Rodz in a controversial manner, thanks in part to Grim Reefer himself, who smashed the NYWC Championship belt into Lynn's forehead to give Rodz the pin. But now, the New F'N Show is content to put his title aspirations aside for something much more important... revenge!
    Matt "LSD" Hyson vs Xavier
Just last month, both Matt Hyson and Xavier came out the losing end of their respective matches, with Hyson missing out on a chance to compete for the new HI-FI title, and Xavier losing the Interstate Championship before it even had a chance to get warm around his waist. But both of these men are looking to put these setbacks aside, and come back with more ferocity and intensity than ever before! Can the hardcore-minded Hyson match up with the powerhouse known as Xavier? Find out on January 28!
    NYWC TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

Brett Matthews & Brian Myers w/ Prince Charles vs Team Tremendous (c)
Dan Barry and Ken Scampi have been rolling along the past few months since winning the NYWC Tag Team Championships from the Dead Presidents and a 3-way tag match. Of course, the other pair of opponents in that match, Matthews and Myers, have not yet been given another chance to claim the belts. On January 28, they will finally have that opportunity. Led by the scheming Prince Charles and fresh off two major victories, Brett and Brian are in great position to reclaim the belts they once held. However, Team Tremendous has been very resilient in their numerous title defenses, and they have a huge edge when it comes to experience. This promises to be a hard-fought battle between two teams with a great deal of pride and athleticism.
    NYWC INTERSTATE CHAMPIONSHIP

    Amazing Red vs Javi-Air (c)
Only a couple months after Amazing Red lost the NYWC Interstate Championship to his arch nemesis Xavier, the title once again changed hands as the high-flying Javi-Air surprised Xavier to take home the gold. Now, Javi must defend his new belt against its former holder, Amazing Red! Red certainly has the ability to match Javi-Air move for move, and has the added advantage of years of in-ring experience and a strong fan following. Can Red take back the title, or will Javi manage to fend off his first challenger? The action will surely be fast and furious, and with the Interstate Championship up for grabs, these two competitors will pull out all the stops!
    NYWC HI-FI CHAMPIONSHIP

    Matt Maverick vs Plazma
Two relative rookies to the NYWC hope to become the inaugural title holder in January, when the NYWC awards the HI-FI Championship for the very first time! Both Maverick and Plazma overcame some serious opponents to earn a shot at this new belt, with Maverick defeating Spyder and Amazing Red, while Plazma took down Damien Dragon and Matt "LSD" Hyson. Now, these two exciting competitors will go head-to-head for the title, and with both pride and gold on the line, fans can expect one hell of a bout!
Dead Presidents vs Silent But Violent
Two months ago, the Dead Presidents were brutally assaulted outside the Deer Park Community Center by none other than Josh Daniels and Quiet Storm, also known as Silent But Violent. The random act of violence got Commissioner Whipwreck to take notice of the intimidating duo, and he promptly gave Daniels and Storm a shot at the tag team titles. Not surprisingly, the Dead Presidents were not about to forget about the attack, and intervened in last month's tag team championship match to cost Silent But Violent the belts. The commish quickly signed a grudge match between the two teams, who will now do battle for one reason, and one reason only... to inflict as much pain on their opponents as possible!

VPW's School Of Excellence Tryouts In June!

VPW's School Of Excellence to hold a tryout day in June

Varsity Pro Wrestling’s School Of Excellence opens its doors to begin its second class in July.

After a very successful first class with five students turning pro, wrestling on a regular basis for the likes of Brian Dixon’s All Star Wrestling, John Freemantle's Premier Promotions, the televised Irish Whip Wresting, LDN Wrestling and the Frontier Wrestling Alliance to name a few.

To help with the success of our first class we had regular guest instructors including D’Lo Brown, Doug Williams, UPW head instructors and trainers of sixteen signed WWE wrestlers, the Ballard Brothers plus many more all of which helped with the in ring learning process along with our head instructor, a pro wrestler of eight years who was trained by WWE legend Shawn Michaels, The UK Kid who recently wrestled against The Big Show on a WWE show in a sold out Wembley Arena.

All of this combined with the hard work of all of our students has earned the School Of Excellence a very good, professional and hard working reputation within the wrestling business and amongst some of the top pros this country and the USA.

With our new class set to start in July we have a five-day tour of shows booked for August featuring former WWE star, Kip “Billy Gunn” James and other top stars from the US who will be playing a major part in the training that week. Each student is taught in a one on one style with attention to detail from the smallest things to the biggest. Great attention is placed on the fitness aspect of the training and the in ring psychology needed to become a pro wrestler. You will also learn how to hold yourself as a professional and promote yourself to other companies and promoters.

The training is held in Portsmouth every Saturday for three hours, while everyday training is an excellent way to learn, it’s not always the easiest way for people having to travel with full time jobs to manage both. We take our training very seriously and expect the same commitment put in by our staff to be returned by each and every student on a weekly basis. Dedication is also a big factor in becoming a professional wrestler; you have to be dedicated to being the best you can be at all times.

The curriculum used during training is the tried and tested one used at the Shawn Michael’s Wrestling Academy as well as other experiences teaching at the UPW training school in California and training with WWE wrestlers like Fit Finlay and Kurt Angle.

Only you can decide where to start your career, but our advise to any person, male or female, wanting to succeed in any sport is to get the best start possible, get the best training available to you and become the best you possibly can be.

We don’t expect people to be able to commit themselves just from word of mouth or reading about it on the Internet, so we are holding a tryout day for anyone interested in becoming a VPW student; the tryout class takes place on Saturday the 17th of June in Portsmouth starting at 12 o’clock, ending at 3 o’clock. The tryout will include basic training and will be a great chance for you to check the school out before committing yourself to anything, as well as giving us a chance to check out potential students and chat about everyone’s individual needs as aspiring young pro wrestlers.

The cost of the tryout is £30 per person, this includes all insurances and hire costs with no hidden charges. If you want the best start in the wrestling business Varsity Pro Wrestling is the place to be, with connections to every major promotion in the UK and USA including the WWE and TNA.

Some training schools will have no problem telling you they are the best so they can take your money, this is not the case with VPW. Come to the tryout day and see for yourself.

For more information and to have any questions you might have answer please contact head instructor The UK Kid at office@Varsitypro.com or visit www.varsitypro.com.

Former WWE Superstar, one half of the Tag Team, The Heart Throbs “Antonio” made his return to the Wrestling Federation of America last Friday night at the Dover Elks Hall in Dover, NH! His return not only marked the return of “Antonio” to the WFA, but more importantly marked the return of “THE PROMISE” ANTONIO THOMAS to Professional Wrestling!

Thomas, who is a former Wrestling Federation of America Heavyweight Champion shocked WFA fans at the Dover Elks Hall in Dover by denouncing the “Heart Throb” persona, by letting the fans and WFA stars in attendance that “Heart Throb Antonio” is no-more and the man who once captured countless regional championships, as well as the most prestigious Championship in all of New England, the Wrestling Federation of America Heavyweight Championship, “The Promise” Antonio Thomas is back, and ready to reclaim his former glory!

It was a disagreement between former WFA Tag Team Champions, the Metro Men that brought “Antonio” to the ring to the surprise and delight of the packed, “standing room only” crowd at the Dover Elks Hall last Friday night.

“Antonio” in full “Heart Throb” garb, danced to the ring and claimed that he was looking for a NEW tag team partner to join him to reform the “Heart Throbs”. He then said that he would choose ONE of the Metro Men to be his partner! Both “The Shane” and “The Mike”, excited by the opportunity, each claimed that they would make the best “Heart Throb”. Seemingly undecided, Antonio said that “The Shane” and “The Mike” would have to wrestle EACH OTHER, and the winner would be the NEW “Heart Throb”! Both men agreed, and the match was on!

About 8 minutes into the match, a desperate Shane grabbed a chair from ringside. Before he got the chance to hit his Tag Team partner with the chair, Antonio came into the ring and stopped him before he could land the final blow. Antonio then said that there would be no need to let this get out of hand. He said that both me proved that they are worthy and that they could BOTH be his Tag Team Partners! Both “The Shane” and “The Mike” were ecstatic, jumping around in the ring in celebration! Before the celebration was complete, Antonio took the chair and laid out both of the Metro Men with two separate blows to the delight of the Dover fans!

Antonio then tore off his “Heart Throb” costume and threw it down on to the ring! “Man, I forgot what it was like to breath” said Antonio “The Promise, Antonio Thomas is back!” Thomas then went on to talk about the future of “The Promise” claiming that he is back, looking for the Wrestling Federation of America Heavyweight Championship!

An INCREDIBLE match that has just been signed to take place in Ludlow, THIS FRIDAY NIGHT, will be a match between 2 former WWE Superstars that fans thought would never happen! The WFA fans of Ludlow will witness the former WWE tag team of the “Hearthrobs” collide! It will former Wrestling Federation of America Champion and WWE Superstar “The Promise” Antonio Thomas going one on one with his former WWE Tag Team partner, “Heartthrob” Romeo Roselli!

Since their WWE departure, both of these men have been at each other throats. Both men obviously feel that it was THEM that carried the team to success. In the past two months, Thomas and Roselli have BOTH publicly stated that if they were ever to face each other, one-on-one, that THEY would easily get the win. After hearing about this, WFA Officials were quick to set the stage for the fans to get the answer to that question. Who carried the Hearthrobs? We will all find out THIS FRIDAY NIGHT!

I am trying to get a wrestling radio show at my college radio station that is going to run on a two hour time slot at least once a week. It can be heard on 88.7 FM WNHU or by going to www.wnhu.net. If anyone wants to listen and call in and talk wrestling I encourage you all to do so once this thing starts up. We will be talking everything from WWE, TNA, ROH, Chikara, PWG, and any other indy wrestling promotion. We are also willing to promote any indy shows that anyone of you on the boards may be associated with.

Really? We already have Pro Wrestling Ohio.

I think they might be hard to compete with.

But what am I saying? That show has HENRY GODWIN.

LOL. No doubt! I would be at the show if they would only bill him as Shanghai Pierce.

The two feds are about 4.5 hours away, so I do not see them as competitors. Plus, who could ever top Greg "The Hammer" Valentine? A friend of mine helps run OCW, so I thought I'd put in a plug for him.

    Orsini/Martinez Cage Match Preview Video:

    http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7rv3l ... rtin_sport

Check out the above link to see how the WSU Champion Angel Orsini vs Mercedes Martinez feud has escalated to the point where both of these kickass wrestlers are hellbent on destroying each other in a cage on January 10th in Boonton, NJ. These women do not like each other at all and both have vowed to scar the other for life and make them taste their own blood.

For fans who may not know or have forgotten, here is a quick timeline of the Orsini/Martinez feud:

2002-2003 - Angel Orsini helps train Mercedes Martinez at ECW Original Jason Knight's wrestling school in Connecticut.
2003- Orsini & Martinez team up to wrestle together in several New England promotions.

2004-2005- Orsini & Martinez go their seperate ways, with Orsini moving to Europe. Martinez travels the US and collects many championships & accolades on the independent scene.

September 2007- Angel Orsini debuts in WSU during the DVD taping of "It's Always Sunny In Lake Hiawatha". Orsini would be challenged by long-time friend Amy Lee, the tag partner of Luna Vachon. Amy wanted to be Angel's first match in WSU.

September 2007- During the "Surviving the Game" DVD taping, after the Orsini/Lee match, Martinez reveals herself as Luna Vachon's attacker. Orsini & Martinez embrace in the ring. Martinez said she destroyed Luna & helped Orsini attack Lee because Lee was the one who put Martinez on the shelf for several months. Martinez credits Orsini for helping in her training. The two would be be a factor in Luna Vachon's retirement.

December 2007- Martinez, in her first match, during the "The World Is Not Enough" DVD taping, and still in a bad place because she felt like she had to make up for lost time because she was coming off an injury, destroyed Rick Cataldo.

December 2007- During the "Alicia Retirement Show" DVD taping, Martinez destroyed Roxxie Cotton. Martinez made it clear that she would destroy anyone in her rise to the top. Meanwhile Amy Lee d. Angel Orsini via DQ when Mercedes Martinez blasted Amy with a chair. Mercedes & Angel beat the crap out of Amy after the match, only for ref Missy Sampson to step up to the plate and wipe Angel & Mercedes out! It was announced that Missy Sampson & Amy Lee will take on Angel & Mercedes at the next show!

March 8th, 2008 - During the "First Anniversary Show" DVD taping, Former WSU Sr. Official now turned wrestler, Missy Sampson came out. Missy Sampson explained that due to recent emergency surgery, she is not cleared to wrestle tonight. Amy Lee, her tag partner, scheduled for the extremely personal tag match against Mercedes Martinez & Angel Orsini understood Missy's situation. However, before Missy could finish talking, Mercedes & Angel came out to jump the gun, against the defenseless Missy Sampson, thinking they had a 2 on 1 advantage for their tag match. However, Missy was able to announce that even though she couldn't wrestle, she found a partner for Lee, and out came AWESOME KONG!

Amy Lee & Awesome Kong w/Missy Sampson d. Mercedes Martinez & Angel Orsini
In one of the more heated matches of the evening, Amy Lee was finally able to get her revenge over Mercedes & Angel. This feud, which was started when Martinez & Angel revealed themselves as the duo that took out Amy's ex-tag partner Luna Vachon and taking credit for Luna's retirement, came to a thrilling climax when Kong was able to lay out Angel, leading to Amy Lee picking up the pinfall!

We found out shortly afterwards, that despite attacking Luna, the fans were still behind Martinez. Orsini resented that fact and told Martinez not to let the fans sway her decisions. However, Martinez realized how much she missed the fans support and an unspoken rift between Orsini/Martinez started brewing.

March 8th, 2008 - During the "Dawn of a New Day" DVD taping, Martinez challenged & defeated Mickie Knuckles. This would be Martinez's first match without an association with Angel Orsini. Orsini was fuming and left the building when she found out Martinez wanted to go her own way.

March 21st, 2008- Martinez goes to the finals of the 2nd Annual WSU/NWS King and Queen of the Ring tournament with partner Bison Bravado. Orsini felt snubbed for not being entered the tournament and even more upset that Martinez got the last spot in the tournament.

March 22nd, 2008- Martinez defeats Jana & Becky Bayless to get to the finals of the 2nd Annual WSU/NWS J-Cup tournament. Angel Orsini defeats Roxxie Cotton & Rebecca Payne to get to the finals of the tournament. The first ever Orsini/Martinez match in WSU is set-up, as the finals of the J-Cup tournament. In a wild 20 minute or so match, Martinez defeats Orsini. Orsini leaves the ring while Martinez soaks in her biggest victory in WSU.

April 20th, 2008- The rise of Orsini begins. Orsini defeats newcomer Kacee Carlisle, then goes on into the "UNCENSORED RUMBLE" match. Orsini would be the last one eliminated, being tossed out by winner Amy Lee. Orsini has now just tasted defeat twice in straight number 1 contender matches, as she was the last one eliminated in the J-Cup & the last one eliminated in the Rumble. Orsini is full of rage.

May 31st, 2008- In a surprise upset & match, Angel Orsini defeats Nikki Roxx for the WSU championship at a JAPW event in Rahway, NJ. Here is the recap from the TITLE HISTORY section on WSUWrestling.com:
" In the first ever WSU Championship title defense in JAPW, Angel Orsini shocked everyone and pinned Nikki Roxx to become the new WSU Womens Champion!

Angel Orsini, who has had some trouble times in WSU, has came up short in numerous attempts to become the number 1 contender to the WSU championship. After a loss to Lacey Von Erich, Angel lost in the finals of the 2008 WSU/NWS Womens J-Cup tournament and was the last woman eliminated in the Uncensored Rumble. However, when WSU & JAPW made a deal to have the WSU championship defended on JAPW events, Angel capitalized on the opportunity, and defeated Nikki Roxx to win the WSU Championship.

In a 12 minute match, that featured alot of mat wrestling with some brawling, Angel was able to put Nikki Roxx down for the count cleanly, after a reverse rock bottom. It was Angel's biggest win in WSU.

Angel a mat veteran for some time threw a major wrench into the WSU fold, as Angel took the ball and is now ready to run with it. With tons of hungry challengers for the championship, a feeling Angel knows, Angel will now have to take on all comers, any where, any time. "

June 21st, 2008- Martinez was granted a WSU Championship match due to her win at the J-Cup tournament. Before getting there, Martinez wanted to challenge someone Orsini defeated. Martinez would defeat Kacee Carlisle during the "Show Must Go On" DVD taping. Meanwhile, Orsini made her first WSU Championship defense, defeating the 2008 Uncensored Rumble winner, Amy Lee.

June 21st, 2008 - Orsini vs Martinez II takes place during "Army of One". This match is a match of the year candidate that featured brawling throughout the building, even going up in the balcony section where Martinez threw Orsini from one balcony into another. This was one of WSU's highest selling & perhaps best DVD to date. Orsini tricked Martinez to win the match, faking an injury and using a small package to get the win.

SUMMER 2008- Orsini becomes the face of WSU. Just check out her title history for the summer:

    # 6/21 vs Amy Lee in Boonton, NJ
    # 6/21 vs Mercedes Martinez in Boonton, NJ
    # 6/28 vs Jana in Jersey City, NJ
    # 8/16 vs Annie Social vs Roxxie Cotton vs Rick Cataldo in Bayonne, NJ
    # 8/22 vs Dawn Marie & Portia Perez in Neptune, NJ
    # 8/23 vs Portia Perez in Belleville, NJ

Fall 2008- Orsini continues to dominate, adding these defenses to her championship reign:
    # 9/20 vs Annie Social in Jersey City, NJ
    # 10/4 vs Kara "Cherri" Slice in Brick, NJ

October 10th, 2008 - Orsini vs Martinez III takes place. The match goes to a 15 minute draw during the "Push It To Limit" DVD taping. During a 5 minute overtime, Martinez looked like she had the match & the championship won, but time expired. The match is ruled a draw. The official record between these two is one win a piece, one loss a piece and now a draw a piece, making this feud 1-1-1.

October 11th, 2008- From the WSUWrestling.com "RESULTS" section:
    WSU Tag Team Tournament Match
    Round One
Mercedes Martinez & Angel Orsini d. Bobcat & Gorgeous George
In what many are calling one of the most shocking moments in WSU history, Angel Orsini teamed up with Mercedes Martinez. Martinez called out Orsini and talked about how Orsini has been ducking and getting lucky in matches with her. Martinez talked about how Orsini laid out Martinez's partner Reyna Fire last night. Martinez said she didn't care who Orsini's partner would be & said she'd fight in a handicapped match against Orsini & her mystery partner.

When pressed Orsini finally let the cat out of the bag and announced Martinez as her partner. Orsini said her best chance to win the tournament was with Martinez which is why she had been attacking Fire. With Fire hospitalized, Martinez had no choice but to come out alone, leaving her to tag with Orsini. Orsini then said with Martinez teaming with her, it means Martinez couldn't go after her in the tournament matches.

However during the match against Bobcat & George, Martinez had the match seemingly won. LITTLE JEANNE ran out and attacked Martinez, allowing Angel & Jeanne to win the match. Both Jeanne & Orsini attacked Martinez after the match proclaiming this was part of their master plan. In a separate promo on the DVD release it was explained that Jeanne & Orsini used to team before and have been friends for 15 years and they suckered Martinez into their plan. They eliminated Martinez from the tournament and outsmarted Martinez. You'll want to see this on the DVD, as Angel has not only shown off her brawn in WSU, but her brains.

    WSU Tag Team Tournament Match
    Round Two
Amy Lee & Missy Sampson d. WSU Champion Angel Orsini & Little Jeanne
This was one of the better tag matches in WSU history, with all four wrestlers brawling all over the building. Eventually Mercedes Martinez ran out, distracting Orsini, allowing Amy to pin Orsini to advance in the tournament. As a result of this pinfall, WSU has announced a special WSU championship match on the 10/18 JAPW event between Lee & Orsini. This was one hell of a main event to wrap up the first taping of the Tag Team Title Tournament show.

October 11th, 2008- During the "PAYBACK's A BITCH!" the following took place, courtesy of WSUWrestling.com's RESULT section:

    Battle Royal
Winner Gets A Shot at the WSU Champion In The Main Event
Bobcat lastly eliminated Mercedes Martinez to earn the right to fight for the WSU Championship in the main event.

ENTRANTS: Jana, Latasha, Bobcat, Martinez, Gorgeous George, Trixxie Lynn, Little Jeanne, Melissa Coates

This was an exciting battle royal, which saw Martinez and Jeanne duke it out. It seems a new feud is brewing between these two, as the allegiances and battle lines have been made.

Martinez was the star of this battle royal, eliminating Jeanne towards the end. However, Angel Orsini ran out and cost Martinez the match, leaving Bobcat the winner. Orsini made it clear that she wants no part of Mercedes Martinez in WSU anymore and does not want her title run in jeopardy by being placed in a match with Martinez.

While all this was going on, Molly Holly came out. Molly said she sees how WSU operates and that this is not the Angel Orsini show. To ensure that Orsini's shenanigans would be prevented, Molly named herself special referee for the main event, as approved by WSU commissioner Dawn Marie!

    WSU Championship Match
    Special Ref Molly Holly
    (c) Angel Orsini d. Bobcat w/Gorgeous George
This was another wild match, where Orsini proved her dominance as WSU champion.

After the match, Mercedes Martinez came out and confronted Angel Orsini. Martinez beat the HOLY FN HELL out of Orsini, nailing her with the WSU title and DDTing her on a steel chair! Martinez then set-up a table and BRAINBUSTERED ORISNI THROUGH THE TABLE in one of the sickest displays of violence we've ever seen in WSU.

Martinez then made one of the biggest announcements in WSU history! Martinez , while standing out over a knocked out cold Orsini, said on 1/10, Martinez vs Orsini IV would happen, but this time, in a STEEL CAGE MATCH! WSU has approved the match, as WSU felt that Orsini/Martinez were all over the double DVD taping, interfering and attacking each other and the only way to settle this and to prevent interference, people running away & blind sided attacks is to go with Martinez's idea and put them in the cage! Martinez and Orsini delivered again as this is MUST-SEE material.

October 18th, 2008- To prove she was a fighting champion and in order to get ready for Martinez, Orsini defeated Amy Lee in Bayonne, NJ at a JAPW show.

October 25th, 2008 - Orsini defeats Valentina at a FTW show in Long Island, NY. Orsini looks unbeatable in the match.

November 15th, 2008- Orsini destroyed and defeated Martinez's protege, Reyna Fire at an FCW show in Brooklyn, NY. This was Orsini's third win in a row after being slammed through a table by Martinez on 10/11.

November 29th, 2008- Martinez defeats Portia Perez in a 30 minute match. Martinez looks the best she's ever been. Portia tells Martinez to win the belt on 1/10.

January 10th, 2009- Orsini vs Martinez IV, for the WSU Championship, in a STEEL CAGE will take place in what promises to be the sickest, most brutal, most intense & most important match in WSU History. Either Orsini will prove her dominance in the world of professional wrestling or Martinez will finally realize her dream and do what she set out to do when she first debuted in WSU more than 17 months ago and that is to become WSU Champion.

You do not want to miss this match. Both of these wrestlers are in intense training for this match. Martinez is in Tampa Florida working out with several female wrestlers and plans on debuting a new arsenal that Orsini is not familiar with. Orsini is training in her hometown & against men to gain strength and endurance for this match. Neither wrestler wants to be on the losing side of this encounter. There is so much riding on this bout, but only one will have their hand raised. Be part of history on January 10th, when this huge match takes place.
    =================================================

As reported earlier, Alicia will be presenting WSU Champion Angel Orsini the brand new WSU Championship title belt on 1/10. This marks the first time these two icons of WSU meet face-to-face for the first time ever. Word has it that Angel Orsini is not impressed nor cares about Alicia's fanfare. When asked for a statement, Angel said "All I care about is Mercedes Martinez on 1/10 and I am working on my gameplan to defeat her. I do not give a damn about anyone else." It seems the intensity and panic may be settling in for the champion.
    =================================================

The Soul Sisters contacted WSUWrestling.com to request a match with Reyna Fire & Brooke Carter on 1/10. Jana, who was visibly upset after the Soul Sisters loss on 11/29 to the Beatdown Betties, was the one who requested the match on behalf of the Soul Sisters.

Latasha told WSUWrestling.com that the Soul Sisters have hit a rough patch but despite some problems as of late, the Soul Sisters have not lost their focus - the WSU Tag Team Championships.

The Soul Sisters believe that they need to get back to the beginning and get on the same page. By challenging two rookies in Reyna Fire & Brooke Carter, who may look really good but are the least experienced on the WSU roster, The Soul Sisters plan on going on another huge winning steak with the intentions of climaxing that streak with the WSU Tag Team Titles.

When asked about the possibility of an upset loss to Carter & Fire, the Soul Sisters said that while they respect their opponents, there was just no way they would lose this match. The Soul Sisters told WSUWrestling.com that they are working together and training harder than before and not taking this match lightly.

Reyna Fire & Brooke Carter have accepted the match. With a combined match total of less than 10 in their pro careers, they will definitely be giving up experience and ring-time in this match. What they lack in experience though, they make up in heart, as they are one of the hungriest duos in WSU, wanting to learn from the best in womens wrestling, hence their roster spots in WSU.

On 1/10 will we see the "Born Again" Soul Sisters or will we see the biggest upset in the Soul Sisters careers? This match, while not having a major issue between the participants could lead to major ramifications & dilemas, based on the outcome.

After many months of tension, Latasha of the Soul Sisters has a major announcement which she will make on 1/10. No details of this announcement have been given to WSUWrestling.com.

    =================================================

WSUWrestling.com received a bulletin from both Trixie Lynn & Melissa Coates. Both want all the fans to know that while they plan on winning the WSU Tag Team championships, they also desire singles gold. Both wrestlers have asked for singles matches on 1/10. Both wrestlers have stressed that there are no problems between the two, but with all the great singles wrestlers in WSU, both want to prove themselves and their mettle against the best women in the land. Both wrestlers also feel that with more singles experience, it will allow them to scout more opponents in less time. Coates & Lynn stressed that no matter which one of them perhaps wins WSU singles gold, that they both have each others back and plan on managing each other when they are not in tag matches. Coates & Lynn also stated that no matter who walks out with the tag belts on 1/10, no matter what, they plan on issuing a challenge to the champs.

    =================================================

Amy Lee told WSUWrestling.com in an exclusive interview that no matter what, Lee & Kong will walk out with the WSU Championships on 1/10. Amy pointed out her victories as well as Kong's victories over The Beatdown Betties in singles matches. As a force Lee and Kong seem virtually unstoppable. No team looks like they could be a match for Kong & Lee. However, could Kong & Lee's biggest weakness be Kong & Lee themselves? It is no secret these two don't get along after two violent matches, that leave the two with a win a piece against each other. In both matches against each other Kong nor Lee has really dominated or proved their superiority over the other. A potential Kong vs Lee III match might be down the road, but on 1/10 it's all about the prestigious tag team championships in all of womens wrestling - the WSU Tag Team Titles.

    =================================================

Rain has told WSUWrestling.com that she is coming to WSU for one reason only and that is to become WSU Champion. It is a goal of everyone on the WSU roster and while few have done it, Rain plans on backing up her words. Rain said she has interest in the outcome of the WSU Championship cage match and wouldn't mind taking on the winner down the line. Of course, Rain has to get past Rachel Summerlyn on 1/10 to even be in contention for the WSU Championship.

Champions - The Beatdown Betties (Roxxie Cotton & Annie Social)

    1. Amy Lee & Awesome Kong
    2. Alere Little Feather & Missy Sampson
    3. Melissa Coates & Trixie Lynn
    4. Kylie Pierce & Kacee Carlisle
    5. Brooke Carter & Reyna Fire
    =================================================

To update everyone on the surprise wrestler, WSUWrestling.com has learned that the person debuting on 1/10 has held championships on national TV and is a major contributer to the sport of womens wrestling. This wrestler has also never been on an indy show in the northeast area ever.
    =================================================

Kylie Pierce, in wake of the news that tag team partner Kacee Carlisle will not be at the 1/10 event has told WSUWrestling.com that she has found a partner for 1/10 as Kylie & this partner will take on Alere Little Feather & Missy Sampson during the first taping on 1/10. If you remember, it was Kylie's brutal and vicious kick to Alere's spine on 6/21/08 that put Alere out of action. After 7 months out, Alere will finally return to the ring on 1/10 and plans on seeking her revenge on Kylie, the person who orchestrated the sinister attack.

What Team Wigwam (Alere & Missy) don't know is that Kylie has been "brainwashing", for lack of a better term, someone on the WSU roster. Kylie has been preying on a mind that she thinks she can control and thinks she can use this person to take care of Kylie's dirty work. However, Kylie has promised this wrestler victories, fame and fortune in return for her devotion.

Just who is this wrestler? It is someone current on the WSU roster, but Kylie won't say exactly who. Could it be someone who already has a match set for 1/10? Perhaps it's someone who doesn't have an announced match and is fed up about a perceived lack of respect? Whoever it is, they may have bitten off more than they can chew, as most accomplished teams on their best days don't stand a chance against Team Wigwam, never mind a team wrestling together for the first time.

On 1/10 we will find out who Kylie Pierce has been working with, as Kylie says she has a new protege. Kylie and this protege will team up against Alere Little Feather & Missy Sampson on 1/10. Alere and Missy are gunning for revenge, as it was Kylie's barbaric kick to Alere's neck that put Alere out of action. Just who is this mystery wrestler and can Kylie train anyone to face the hell and fury that Alere & Missy will bring on 1/10?

    =================================================

The Strong Style Diva Rachel Summerlyn will be making her WSU debut and is coming in looking to make a statement by challenging another top female star also making her WSU debut, non other than Rain, the former Ms. Payton Banks from TNA.

WSU continues to bring in the top female talent in the entire world. Rachel Summerlyn and Rain have both expressed to WSU management that they are here for one thing and one thing only and that is WSU gold!

Both ladies have expressed that they will be closely watching the outcome of the WSU Championship match in the Steel Cage between current champ Angle Orsini and Mercedes Martinez, however they must first win their own match and climb the WSU ranks.

Rachel Summerlyn and Rain are both considered two of the top female wrestlers in the entire world. The have traveled the United States and Internationally and both bring an impressive resume to WSU.
    =================================================

Former 2 time WSU Womens Champion, Alicia will return to the commentators booth on 1/10 as she joins Missy Hyatt.

    =================================================
This promises to be our biggest event ever, there is no telling what will happen on this huge event. With a first time ever Steel Cage match in WSU, hostility from the WSU roster and tons of tension, everything is bound to boil. Be there for this monumental event.

There is a huge afterparty planned for after the show at the Boonton Grille Bar. Here is the info:

WSU is proud to announce a partnership with the Boonton Avenue Grille, located at 108 Boonton Avenue in Boonton, NJ. The Boonton Ave Grille is a huge mega sports bar that also serves delicious food. The Boonton Ave Grille is located just one block away from the WSU show on 1/10. After the WSU 1/10 event, everyone from the WSU locker room will be appearing at the Boonton Grille to party & mingle with fans. The price of admission to the afterparty is free for fans and there will be special merchandise give-aways. Have a blast partying with the stars of WSU after the show!

I don't have any wrestling event to promote but I do have some wrestling related material to promote. I recently wrote and submitted an article on the nature of professional wrestling to Associated Content and it has recently been published. If anyone is interested in reading it the link is below.

Sorry, I'll go post the link in the ramble thread. I wasn't exactly sure where to post the link because I didn't think posting such a thing in the TNA thread would really be apprioriate. Thanks for the tip.

I'd totally have seen that show if I lived in Italy, if only for the London/OJ ladder match, but Booker/Pac could have been good, too. Shiek/Hall could have been entertaining for the wrong reasons, and Anderson/DDP sounds oddly interesting, too.

What company was putting it on? I'm curious to find the results...

Almost certainly NWE, if it's in Italy and features alot of guys they've had work there recently.

Don't get your hopes up about London, though. He isn't the same anymore.

    I was thinking NWE.
Also, yeah, I know. London probably didn't even show up for the match, or if he did, he was too baked to do anything worthwhile. But I bet OJ was dope in it anyway.

Nice to see the advertising, I hope it works Ohio Hatchet.

As for the Italian show, that was a complete joke. You need to have it translated. Some of those matches were hilarious. Some third rank Italian newspaper ran that ad for it. Someone paid them to.

btw- what happened to Paul London? Does he make RVD look innocent or something?

You ought to read the Cewsh review of the show London was on to get a grasp of what he's like lately.

Also, I bet Juggulator is either really awesome or an incredibly lame ICP-inspired moron.

That might be the fault of my amateur Photoshop skills, or you could be right. I'll let ya know after the show this Saturday.

    - Danny Havoc vs. tHURTeen added to CZW's February 13th Ultraviolent Anniversary!

Over at CZWrestling.com, the first of several new and exclusive videos have aired from the CZW locker room in the fallout from January's HIGH STAKES (available soon on smartmarkvideo.com) event. In the early moments of High Stakes, few paid much attention to the unexepcted, and unsuccessful return of former 'NJ All Star' LUCKY. The high-flyer was turned back in dominant fashion by CZW's resident scumbag, Devon Moore, and appeared on the road back to lighter pastures. As seen on CZWrestling.com, Lucky's destiny was not as such, as the young flyer was kidnapped and subsequently beaten in to Cult Fiction by JC Bailey and Billy Gram. The end result, an apparently reborn, remotivated, and perhaps even possessed version of 'Lucky' now known as 'tHURTeen'. Following his shocking request at the end of the video message, CZW management made his re-debut official, as 'tHURTeen' will face DANNY HAVOC in the nightcap of CZW's very special February 13th Anniversary Doubleheader!

If you can't make it to the show, CZW, Smart Mark Video, and Pancoast Productions have been producing a free television program on www.HybridENT.tv called Wired. In addition they've been playing classic episodes of Fake You TV! from CZW's earlier days.

And, literally just added on their Pay Per Stream catalog, three events from 2009 are available for streaming at only $9.99! Check out March's Total Havoc, featuring the debut of Thumbtack Jack as he takes on Danny Havoc, August's A Tangled Web 2 featuring the debut of MASADA, rajah.com favorite Drew Blood vs Egotistico Fantastico in a Ladder Match, and the second ever Tangled Web deathmatch featuring Drake Younger and Scotty Vortekz, vs Sami Callihan and Jon Moxley, and lastly, CZW's flagship event, the internationally infamous Cage of Death XI from December that saw Sami Callihan take on Danny Havoc in an electrified Cage of Death!

    That's at: http://www.hybrident.tv/PPSCatalog/pps.htm

Honestly, if you take Sami Callihan out of that, it's probably about the worst show imaginable for me.

I think, somehow, Cewsh Reviews won't be adding it to the Queue.

    27. Eric Alverado
    28. A Member Of Da Latin Crime Syndicate
    29. Dave The Potato
    30. Winner Of Absolute Opportunity Match

-WINNER GETS SPOT 30: STERLING JAMES KEENAN VS. JOHNNY GARGANO!
After defeating "The Psycho Shooter" Drake Younger for Spot #30 in the Gauntlet, SJK thought it was smooth sailing until he left with the Absolute Title. However, Absolute Owner Chandler Biggins has set another roadblock for the cocky former Absolute Champ. A FIRST TIME EVER matchup has been signed with SJK taking on Johnny Gargano. The stakes are higher than a normal match, with the winner becoming #30 in the Gauntlet. SJK is hoping to keep the shot as in 2008, at #30, he won the Absolute Title. Could history repeat it's self again? Or will Johnny Gargano finally come closer to capturing the Absolute Title?

-CHRIS DICKINSON DEFENDS THE INTENSE TITLE AGAINST ERIC ALVERADO!
With their war at DRAGGED TO HELL, fans have demanded a rematch with these two recent AIW newcomers. Eric Alverado forced the match to happen when at BRING THE RUCKUS he beat Johnny Gargano for an Intense Title shot. Chris Dickinson is not one to back down from a challenge and accepted. After beating Alverado at DRAGGED TO HELL, Dickinson shook hands and hugged his fellow competitor. Dickinson has made it clear that this time, respect it out the window and this is going to be a life and death struggle to keep his Intense Title. After busting each other open, breaking tables and brawling all over the crowd at DRAGGED TO HELL, will The West Park Party Center be able to contain this rematch? Who will leave GFTG5 as Intense Champ? Will they end up winning two matches and unifying The Intense and Absolute Titles?

-FAITH IN NOTHING FACE TWO GAUNTLET MATCHES!
Besides the regular Gauntlet For The Gold, Agent Aaron Bauer without Faith In Nothing's consent has signed them up for the first time ever "Faith In Nothing Tag Title Gauntlet" with Faith In Nothing in competition against multiple teams with their tag titles on the line. When comment was sought from Agent Aaron Bauer, Bauer claimed this was to bring Faith In Nothing's skill up and to also get the tag team ability back they might have lost during recent troubles. Due to recent dissension, they weren't communicating to the best of their abilities but after winning the AIW Tag Titles from The Young Studs in December and then a solid victory over Jigsaw & Hallowicked, FIN seems to be back on top in the tag team ranks, both members are looking to walk out of GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD 5 with not only their tag titles intact, but also one member of the team being Absolute Champ.

    -ABSOLUTE OPPORTUNITY RETURNS!
With the success of Absolute Opportunity at DRAGGED TO HELL, AIW's concept has returned. The stakes are higher in this match, as the winner wins an opportunity in The Gauntlet. Imagine if somebody debuted in AIW and in the same night wins the Absolute Title. Stranger things have happened in professional wrestling and AIW. The competitors in this match are some of the strangest in AIW history. First, is Johnny Cockstrong. Johnny who claims his main attribute is his incredibly strong gentiles, has a incredibly unique offense. His opponent is "The Island King" Jonny Mangue, hailing from Samoa. Both men in the match have an opportunity to start at the bottom of AIW and by the end of night will be on the top of AIW. Who will seize the opportunity?

-DA LATIN CRIME SYNDICATE UNHAPPY OVER GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD!
When the Gauntlet listing was sent to the AIW roster, Da Latin Crime Syndicate were very unhappy to find out that only one member of the faction has been granted a spot. With three members, Da Latin Crime Syndicate feel it's more than a clerical oversight. All three members will be in the house at GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD 5 and will have a lot to say about this. But the bigger question is, which member will be in the Gauntlet for The Absolute Title?

    AND MUCH MUCH MORE!!!!!!

    AND MUCH MUCH MORE!!!!!!

I was thinking of going to the show, but I don't think I can handle that much more, so I probably won't. It's a real shame too, because I'm a huge mark for Dave the Potato.

Callihan AND Vorteks. Vorteks is great.

He's make a much better champion than freakin' Jon Moxley. I hate Jon Moxley.

AIW GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD 5
    2/19/2010

-Absolute Owner Chandler Biggins came to the ring and announced that for the second consecutive West Park Party Center event, there was bad news about an AIW Title. Biggins called AIW Tag Team Champion, Christian Faith, and Agent Aaron Bauer to ringside. Bauer announced that Faith had suffered a possible career-ending neck injury and Vincent Nothing was seemingly nowhere to be found. Agent Aaron Bauer revealed that the Tag Team Gauntlet would be for the vacant tag titles.
    1. Tag Team Gauntlet:
Alpha Beta Duke beat Lights Out
Alpha Beta Duke beat The Jack Of Love (Flexor/Saint)
Da Latin Crime Syndicate beat Alpha Beta Duke
-During the start of the ABD/DLCS confrontation the lights went out. When the technical issue was resolved, a pair some local wrestlers who were not scheduled to appear on the show snuck in and attacked Nick Belushi. Concerned about his partner, The Duke had turned his attention to the Melee, leaving him vulnerable to Da Latin Crime Syndicate.
Pink Mustaches beat Da Latin Crime Syndicate
    Aeroform beat Pink Mustaches
-Aeroform was declared the new AIW Tag Team Champions. However, Agent Aaron Bauer announced that he had booked one more tag team - The Young Studs.
The Young Studs defeated Aeroform after Agent Aaron Bauer forced Flip Kendrick off of the top rope. When Faith confronted the turncoat, Bauer, The Young Studs attacked Faith and further injured his neck.

    2. Absolute Opportunity: Johnny Cockstrong beat "The Smooth Savage" Jonny Mangue

-Jack Verville came out and complained about how Flexor/Saint failed to win the tag titles and how he was going to win the Absolute Title later. He asked for a warm up match. Tommy Mercer answered the challenge.

    3. Tommy Mercer beat Jack Verville with the Mercy Kill

    4. For #30 Spot in The Gauntlet For The Gold, Sterling James Keenan beat Johnny Gargano with a cross arm breaker.

-Chris Dickinson entered to defend the Intense Division Championship. Chandler Biggins returned and announced that Eric Alverado was scared to face Dickinson and had quit Absolute Intense Wrestling. After a few choice words about Mr. Alverado, Facade interrupted and was awarded the title shot.

    5. No Disqualification for The INTENSE TITLE: Chris Dickinson beat Façade with an ace cruser from the top rope to the floor through the announcer table.

    GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD 5
    1. Façade
    2. Johnny Gargano
    3. "The Smooth Savage" Jonny Mangue
    4. Chris Dickinson
    5. Jefferson Saint
-Saint seeing the other 4 in the ring, refused to enter the Gauntlet.
    6. Chest Flexor
    7. Jack Verville
    8. Ben Fruith
-All members of the Jack Of Love refused to enter the match and prevented Fruith from entering.
    9. Johnny Cockstrong
-The others stop Cockstrong from entering, as well.
    10. Southside St. Clair
-Southside came out and called out the others for being afraid, and lead everybody into the ring to attack the first four.
    11. Tommy Mercer
-Mercer came out and cleaned house. Jack Of Love, Southside and Fruith were all eliminated in short order. Mercer press slammed Cockstrong onto the pile.
    12. The Duke
    13. Eric Ryan
    14. Flip Kendrick
    15. John Thorne
    16. K. Fernadez
    17. Christian Faith (Who was unable to come out due to injury.)
    18. Jay Ice
    19. Nick Belushi
    20. Benny Boone
    21. Gregory Iron
-Thorne is eliminated by Chris Dickinson. While walking to the locker room, Thorne was attacked by a former AIW talent who was captured and ejected from the building.
    22. Bobby Beverly
    23. Hobo Joe
    24. Robert Paulson
    25. Marion Fontaine
    26. Louis Lyndon
    27. Corey Winters
    28. K.Fed
    29. The Potato
-The entire match stopped when Potato entered. Potato danced his way into the ring where he was immediately attacked and thrown out.
    30. Sterling James Keenan

-The match came down to Tommy Mercer, Johnny Gargano, Façade and SJK. With Gargano and SJK on the apron, Mercer slammed Facade over and all four competitors spilled out at once. Pedro Deluca asked for Absolute Owner Chandler Biggins to determine a winner. Chandler, however, was busy ejecting the out-of-control fans. After consulting the wrestlers, fans and referees, Chandler couldnt make a decision. It was announced that all four wrestlers will compete at Absolution 5 at West Park Party Center on June 27th with the winner becoming the Absolute Champion.
