Got a Wrestling Event to Advertise? Do it Here.

Alright, we get a bunch of threads advertising various little indy shows. Nobody tends to post in them, but I guess they might inform a few people. So here's how it's going to work. You want to advertise a wrestling show you do it in this thread. You post a thread to advertise a show it'll be deleted. I won't answer PMs asking why it was. If you don't see this thread that's your problem.

And just to make sure people do see this thread I'm going to stick it for about a week.

I heard that Low Ki vs. Collyer has been added, but I don't if MLW has officially done so. The main event could be decent. Hopefully Corino will go over & Funk will finally retire for good. I respect him, but he's just taking it too far. Modest/Quance should also be good. Looking forward to seeing how Hero is used.

So exactly what is this thread to be used for? Are we talking ALL indys? Even "major" stuff like ROH, MLW, PWG, etc? Or just smaller stuff? Like that dude that constantly posts the IWS results? Because if you want ALL indy shows to go in here that is fucking retarded.

    Anyway.

The MLW shows do look good on paper. But so has just about every other MLW show to date and none of them have been very good.

But I am really looking forward to the Ki/'Cide & Dutt/Evans matches.

Like I said, the little shows go here. The more major indy shows can get their own threads. But if you want to advertise something that nobody cares about/heard of it goes here.

I'll be interested to see how the varying styles of Spanky and Punk will mesh together. It'll certainly be interesting. Anyway, I currently been digging some Bobby Quance, and I'll be interested in what him and Puma can do.

I think PWG should deserve its own thread. ROH has its own thread....

I think they'll do fine in the ring together (I doubt it will be great), but I'm more interested for its' 'entertainment' aspect. Spanky & Punk are two of the most charismatic wrestlers on the indies & I anticipate what they could do in their match, aside from pure wrestling.

I would have started a PWG thread but even less people on this board know about it than ROH. I think you, Taz, & Corino632 are the only others I've ever heard mention PWG (or any West Coast promotion, really).

    IWA:Flashfire "Sizzlin" Results 09-04-2004

    IWA:Flashfire Official Website

    “Sizzlin”

The IWA Flash Fire returned to Pickens, SC for another great show.

First thing that happened was Senior Referee NICK HALL returned from Iraq, he is stationed there and was able to return home on some leave. He came to the ring and said that he had a few more months to be overseas but that he would choose his replacement for Senior referee while he was gone. He asked all the IWA referees to enter the ring, KEVIN BLUE, BOONE DANIELS, & CHRIS PRIDMORE.
He told them that they were to have a three-way referee rumble and the winner would be senior referee. The only way to eliminate was to pull the referee shirts off. At the end it was KEVIN BLUE with a chair shot on BOONE DANIELS and removing his shirt for the win and becoming new senior referee.

Next TOMMY SAWYER came in and stated that PANHEAD NELSON put him in a stretchure at the last show. Well tonight he is back and if PANHEAD wants to finish the job he can do it now.
CASEY J came out and said that PANHEAD was not here, but at the last show he was totally humiliated by losing to BILLY STARR, he felt the only way to redeem himself was to put TOMMY back in a stretchure.
The match was set and it appeared that TOMMY was going to defeat CASEY then DIXIE, PANHEAD’s manager came out and got on the apron and slapped him. CASEY then executed the “Casey in Point” for the win.

Next Assitant Commissioner, RANDY JONES came out and stated that Commissioner, TERRY WALLSTREET is indeed on vacation and has left the job to him. And he now sees how tough it has been so he needs to hire him an assitant aswell.
LOGAN KINCAYDE came out and stated that he thought RANDY JONES was the greatest Asst. Commissioner ever and that he would like to have the job.
RANDY gave it to him then “DC” JAMES BOULEVARD, PHILLIP PAIN, LANCE CHRISTOPHER, LACY & STACY CAPONE came out. BLVD stated that back a few weeks ago in Toccoa that when they gave RANDY some Exlax he didn’t even have to wipe because he had LOGAN to kiss it off for him.
LOGAN then called out for their opponents “OBLIVION” MERCILESS DON MATTHEWS & THE TOWER, and RAHN JORDAN to come out.
LOGAN said since he now has that third manpower he wants this match to happen right now! TOWER said “NOPE” it isn’t happeneing he is the Main Event and that is the way it is.

Next BUFORD T came out and said it was because of “OBLIVION” attacking TOW TRUCK that has made him crazy and he is not here tonight and he has a U.S. title defense with EXECUTIONER. But if “OBLIVION” want title shot then they can have one any time and any place.
EXECUTIONER then came out and their match went tooth and nail, then “OBLIVION” came out and distracted him and EX rolled him up for the win.

Next JORDAN came in the ring and said he wanted to get his date with PURPLE PASSION over and done with
PASSION came out and said NO that he wanted the whole world to see them on the date
JORDAN then attacked PASSION but BILLY STARR ran out and JORDAN escaped to the outside
BILLY then said that he did not have a World title match this evening but did enter himself in the Internet poll and won, and wanted to add the Internet title to his collection.
BILLY STARR defeated PASSION by DQ when JORDAN interfered and tried to hit PASSION but accidently hit BILLY.

Next “OBLIVION” JORDAN, MATTHEWS, & THE TOWER took on “DC” BOULEVARD, PAIN, & CHRISTOPHER, with LACY & STACY CAPONE.
At the end of this match, TOWER splashed BLVD real hard in the corner, and he went down the other “DC” members went to help him out then TOWER went for another splash and BLVD and the rest moved but LACY, who got squashed and went down. TOWER then went to check on her and MATTHEWS got in his face talking about being Merciless and not being a little sap worried about the ladies.
BUFORD T then came out and attacked MATTHEWS and they fought to the back.
TOWER carried LACY to the back, while BLVD got up and checked on the condition of STACY almost ignoring LACY. This left JORDAN by hisself and then PASSION came out and distracted him and this left LANCE CHRISTOPHER to get the win on JORDAN with a frog splash.

The next show is Sep. 18, Lavonia Elementary School, Lavonia, Ga. and remember FIGHTMARE 3 Oct. 30. in Hartwell.

    - Homicide/Strong could be very good. Strong is a good worker & Homicide has been doing great in last few months.

    - Danielson/Hero 2/3 Falls ... From what I heard, their last match was very good, but it was obvious that they were holding back from going all out. Hopefully, they'll go all out with this one .. I wouldn't mind seeing this one go super long & see how it stacks up to Punk/Hero & Aries/Danielson. And then, within the next year, we can see Aries/Punk, Hero/Aries, & Danielson/Punk in super long 2/3 falls matches. Sure, it would be over the top & probably stupid .. but come on .. the matches would probably be great. Alright, I'll move on now...

    - Danielson/Styles! Yes! These two have faced eachother every fall/winter for the past 2 years & each time. This one should be no different. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

    - Joe/Strong could be very, very good & it will be very, very interesting to see who wins.

    - Aries/Punk & Danielson/Shelley should be awesome. Especially considering that it will be the next time each man faces the other within one week (Shelley/Danielson & Aries/Punk are both booked for ROH 9/11).

    - Styles/Sydal, Punk/Williams, Hero+McGuiness/Strong+Shelley, Williams/B-Boy, Cannon/Dragon, & Whitmer/Williams could all turn out real good, too.

IWA:Flashfire "Heat of the Moment" Results 09-25-04

    IWA:Flashfire Official Website

    “Heat of the Moment”

The IWA FF returned to their home base of Hartwell, Ga. last night with another awesome show.

The night started with some new comers to the IWA FF, matter of fact they were not even apart of the IWA FF. They were from Baltimore Maryland and wrestle for a promotion up north where they were tag partners once but after a long bitter feud their promotion would not sanction their match. So the IWA FF cought wind of this rivaly and agreed to sanction the contest. CRAZII SHEA took on PRINCE MALIK, these two put eveything they had and were very impressive.
MALIK look to have the victory after the flipping piledriver but SHEA kicked out on 2 and a half finally it was SHEA scoring the victory with the 450 splash.

As SHEA was celebrating PHILLIP PAIN and LANCE CHRISTOPHER came out and congradulated SHEA and welcomed them to the IWA FF. They then asked for the new tag team champions their opponents tonight BUFORD T & BIG COUNTRY with TOW TRUCK and THE WHEEL to come out. This match began with a hand shake as these outstanding athletes put on a good match. Finally it was BUFORD T scoring the win on LANCE with a ‘torquewrench” stunner. BUFORD & COUNTRY then danced with PAIN & LANCE.

Next the announcer BRADFORD DAVIS BATES asked everyone to look on the “Fire Wall” (the IWA FF version of the titan tron) to see what happened as TOWER was leaving Lavonia last week.
TOWER was walking out and a truck ran full speed into him and hitting him. MERCILESS DON MATTHEWS got out and beat him down and told him to “Expect No Mercy”.
TOWER then was rolled out in a wheelchair, TOWER said “Oblivion” was no more and he would get MATTHEWS, and he called out the New Self Proclaimed, General Manager, RANDY JONES and told him that what MATTHEWS did was attempted Manslughter and he would sue the IWA FF unless he got a match and the winner would get the title shot at FIGHTMARE 3.
GM JONES was not wanting a law suit so he made MATTHEWS v/s TOWER in a wheelchair match at the next show. Winner will get a title shot.
PANHEAD NELSON accompanied by DIXIE came out and said that was not fiar he should get a title shot.
So GM JONES made the match TOWER v/s PANHEAD right then.

TOWER was giving everything he had to PANHEAD, then LACY CAPONE came out and stared at him and TOWER stopped and looked at her with a lustful gaze in his eyes. PANHEAD then clipped his leg. JAMES BOULEVARD and STACY CAPONE came out and got her and pulled her back to the back.
PANHEAD took over but not for very long when the crowd cheered up TOWER he came back with full force. Finally DIXIE seen enough and passed the ring bell to PANHEAD, while she got the ref’s attention. Then TOMMY SAWYER came out and pulled the bell from PANHEAD and snapped on the “whirlwind” bulldog on PANHEAD and TOWER got the win.
TOWER then said that MATTHEWS was next then it would be RAHN JORDAN. JORDAN came out and said he was worried about BILLY STARR and not TOWER.
PURPLE PASSION then came out and put his arm around JORDAN and he left. PASSION then said he wanted everyone to see their date that happened Thursday night on the “Fire wall”.
The fans see the opening of their date and JORDAN had to come and pick him up, you could obivisiouly tell JORDAN did not want to do this.

Next the Personal Asstitant of GM JONES, LOGAN KINCAYDE came out saying that he had won the Internet Poll finally. But JAMES BOULEVARD with the lovely CAPONE sisters, LACY and STACY came out to burst his bubble.
BOULEVARD said that since LOGAN was now an employee of the IWAFF he was in eligable to participate in the Internet poll. So GM JONES made LOGAN v/s BLVD right then.
This match went tooth and nail and in the match BOULEVARD punched GM JONES in the mouth. Finally BOULEVARD went to give LOGAN a superplex and JONES pulled BLVD’s feet allowing LOGAN the victory but then both LACY and STACY went to him and smacked him for his trouble.

After this the rest of the date played on the “Fire wall” and we seen JORDAN and PASSION at a resteraunt “Henry’s on Main” in Anderson SC. This was very funny as JORDAN was forced to dance with PASSION.
BRADFORD D BATES then asked Sewnior Referee KEVIN BLUE back out to finish his interview with him that CASEY J interupted last week.
BLUE siad he became the senior referee when he won the Referee Rumble hosted by NICK HALL and few weeks ago, after he hit referee BOONE DANIELS with a chair.
CASEY J interupted again this time on crutches, he said that he had twisted his ankle last week and went back out and CORPSE’s music hit he knows what is up he put MAJOR VICOTRY in the hospital and now he is going to return as the RESERRECTOR and bring back the CORPSE. Well if the CORPSE wants him come out now.
CORPSE came out and CASEY hobbled back scared.

DALE DWINDLE retained the Internet title from TOMMY SAWYER after PANHEAD ran in and hit him with a bat.
TOMMY then challenged PANHEAD to a “Bat on a pole” match at FIGHTMARE 3.

Finally the final segment of the date was shown and it showed PASSION asking JORDAN about the TOWER situation. JORDAN said TOWER had become weak and him and MATTHEWS kicked him out of “OBLIVION”, now there was an open space and PASSION needed to make the right descion in the heat of the moment.

JORDAN faced the World Champion, BILLY STARR in a ladder match. This match was very brutal with both athletes giving thier all to capture the title. At the end BILLY hit the “jam” on JORDAN from top of the ladder.
Then out from the back referee BOONE DANIELS came out and hit KEVIN BLUE with a chair. BILLY climbed up and got the title but the referee was down.
PASSION came out he looked at JORDAN then he pushed the ladder and BILLY fell off of it and hit the floor. He put the belt on top of JORDAN then woke up BLUE. JORDAN was then given the win and became new World Champion for the third time.
PASSION then wanted a kiss for helping JORDAN so JORDAN said for him to close his eyes and pucker up. He then punched PASSION then gave him a “justified juke” on a ladder and busting his ribs.
THE TOWER ran out and made the save and stared down JORDAN.

Keep checking iwaflashfire.com for more show locations and information. Don’t forget FIGHTMARE 3 Oct. 30, at Hartwell.

IWA:Flashfire "The Hour Draweth Near" Results 10-16-2004

    IWA:Flashfire Official Website

The IWA FF returned to Iva, SC. as the Hour Draweth near for FIGHTMARE 3, this is all that went down.

First JAMES BOULEVARD came out with the loveley LACY & STACY CAPONE and with PHILLIP PAIN. BOULEVARD said that LANCE CHRISTOPHER was to get a shot at the U.S. title but unfortunatly he had a serious illness in his family and was not able to attend. So he said that he would get the shot at the title.
GM JONES with his personal asstiant LOGAN KINCAYDE, said that BLVD would not get the shot but EXECUTIONER did make a challenge to a member of "DC", but it would not be BOULEVARD it would be PHILLIP PAIN.
PAIN went toe to toe with EXECUTIONER but did not seem to be able to overpawer the big man from the darkside. Finally LACY came out and distracted GM JONES while STACY came out and distracted the ref. Then BOULEVARD ran out and threw PAIN some brass nuckles which he used against the big man, and won the United States Championship.
GM JONES said thanks to LACY he was not able to see the ending as he did before so PAIN would remain the U.S. Champion but since "DC" seem to win titles in groups then PAIN's first title defense would be again JAMES BOULEVARD & LANCE CHRISTOPHER at FIGHTMARE 3 in a "King of the Mountain match" and the 2 losers will be fired!!!

Next GM JONES called out the new World Champion, RAHN JORDAN. JORDAN said that he was the new World Champion after he laid waist to BILLY STARR and tonight he had him again in a rematch but was not worried about him. He was worried about the winner between MERCILESS DON MATTHEWS and THE TOWER.
MATTHEWS then came out and said that they had indeed kicked THE TOWER out of "OBLIVION" and he was still with JORDAN but if he won tonight then he would give all he had to win the World title from JORDAN.
JORDAN said that was cool that he didn't care. He then wished MATTHEWS luck.
BILLY STARR ran out and clotheslined MATTHEWS and said he wanted JORDAN right now!!!

BILLY STARR seemed to have JORDAN where he wanted him but when he went to slam him. JORDAN's foot appeared to hit referee BOONE DANIELS in the eye. Then MATTHEWS came back in and executed the "Bombshell" on BILLY and roll JORDAN on top. BOONE DANIELS then made a meracilious recovery to give JORDAN then win.
Then both started putting the boots to BILLY then THE TOWER ran out and made the save.

Next the Tag Team Champions, BUFORD T & BIG COUNTRY came out with TOW TRUCK. COUNTRY & TOW TRUCK were arguing because TOW TRUCK says his leg is better now, but COUNTRY says he is the tag team champions.
They took on the new combonation of TOMMY SAWYER & MACK TRUCK.
During the match COUNTRY got knocked out of the ring, TOW TRUCK went to help him out then COUNTRY pushed him off and they started fighting. BUFORD seen what was going on and he went to break them up. They got counted out then PANHEAD NELSON came out and hit TOMMY with a bat, MACK TRUCK tried to go after PANHEAD but to no avail.

Next for the Internet Championship, PANHEAD NELSON came to the ring with devious DIXIE dressed in glitter and leather. Then out came the Internet Champion DALE DWINDLE. This match was very good and surprising DWINDLE seem to hold his own with the big man. Then on a flook in the corner DWINDLE smacked the referee in the head and he went down. PANHEAD then told DIXIE to give him the bat. She got on the apron and went to hand PANHEAD the bat, but TOMMY ran out and went to grab the bat from DIXIE, they sit there and played tug o war with it. PANHEAD then went to help DIXIE but TOMMY let go and DIXIE accidently hit PANHEAD with it. MACK TRUCK then ran out and put DWINDLE on top and woke up the ref. and DWINDLE got the win.
When PANHEAD came to he made a challenge to TOMMY SAWYER to bring MACK TRUCK and he would find a parnter.

Next GM JONES came back in and announced that at FIGHTMARE 3 BIG COUNTRY will find a partner and he will take on BUFORD T & TOW TRUCK for the rightfull heirs of the Tag Team titles.
He then announced that the winner of CASEY J & JAMES BOULEVARD would face DALE DWINDLE in an online match at FIGHTMARE 3 and one more stipulation he suspended his personal assitant so that he could put him in this match. So now it was a triple threat match.
Then CASEY J came out and said ever since he put MAJOR VICTORY in the hospital he has returned to his RESURRECTOR ways and has brought back the CORPSE. Well CASEY then called out the CORPSE. He came out then CASEY poked him in the chest and the CORPSE went down. Then the creepy musice hit again then the real CORPSE came out and chokeslammed this fake CORPSE and rippe doff the mask and it was CASEY's old Partner DERRICK RAVAGE. CORPSE grabbed the mic. and said CASEY J, FIGHTMARE 3....Burried Alive!!!

Next JAMES BOULEVARD, LACY & STACY came out to meet CASEY J and LOGAN KINCAYDE. This match was very fast paced and had plenty of action. Finally CASEY J got knocked out and the CORPSE ran out and chased CASEY to the back leaving the match as BOULEVARD and LOGAN.
At the end LOGAN clotheslined BOULEVARD out of the ring and he hit his head on the apron then samcked head with LACY and she collapsed.
THE TOWER then came out and carried her to the back. BOULEVARD followed him then realized that he might lose thematch he ran back in and LOGAN rolled him up and put and grabbed a handful of tights for the win.

Finally it was time for the Main Event Wheel Chair 2 match. One year agao to the day MERCILESS DON MATTHEWS took on THE TOWER at FIGHTMARE 2 in a wheel chair match. This time the winner would go on to meet JORDAN at FIGHTMARE 3. This match was viscious and brutal as MATTHEWS smacked TOWER 18 time with a steel chair. The object of the match was to put their opponent in a wheel chair and roll him past a certain line on the floor.
During the match LACY came out apparently to thank TOWER for carring her back. BOULEVARD then came out to get her.
This match was not over yet as even JOHNNY LOVE who was with MATTHEWS got a piece of TOWER. But finally at the end TOWER smacked MATTHEWS with chair and he fell into the wheel chair and rolled past the line and TOWER won. But it was not over as JORDAN ran out and clipped TOWER in the leg and him and MATTHEWS put the boots to TOWER.
Every man in the IWA FF who respected TOWER ran out to help him but MATTHEWS held them off smacking each one with a chair. Until BILLY STARR ran out and ducked the chair shot and then punched MATTHEWS and made JORDAN escape to the outside. BILLY then challenged MATTHEWS to any kind of match of his choosing at FIGHTMARE 3. MATTHEWS then said that he wanted to end this rivalry before it began so he made the match a Suicide Death Match, with barbwire and a scaffold.
Then JORDAN made his and TOWER's match a 3 Stages of Hell Match.

The Hour now draweths really near for the biggest and grandest show of the IWA FF. FIGHTMARE 3 - Oct. 30 -Hartwell, Ga.

    IWA:Flashfire "Fightmare 3" Results 10-30-2004

    IWA:Flashfire Official Website

The IWA Flashfire does one thing right if none other and that is uphold their promises, we said Fightmare 3 would be the most awesome show of the year and we did not lie. Hartwell, Ga. will never be the same again as Fightmare 3 completey captured the audience with action and excitment from beginning to end. many surprises were happended if you missed it, then I'm sorry because I promise you this report will not do it justice.

First GM JONES proved that he can be a nice guy as he inducted 2 people in the IWA FF Hall of Fame. JOHNNY LOVE for 23 years in the business and MAJOR VICOTRY/ RESSURRECTOR for over 30 yrs of wrestling and managing. These 2 definitly diserve being the frist to inducted into the IWA FF Hall of Fame.

The CORPSE came out to accept the RESSURRECTOR's plaque and then CASEY J came out and interupted the reception. He said that nobody cared about RESERURRECTOR being in the hospital and nobody cares about that award the only thing the people cared about is that he had brought back DERRICK RAVAGE to be in his corner for the Burried Alive match. Well that is all it took for The CORPSE to start the match. This match went tooth and nail and was really a handicapp match with CASEY & RAVAGE but it did not matter to the CORPSE as the dead man showed everyone that he was the master of death as he burried CASEY alive. Then RAVAGE unburried CASEY but CASEY was a little tiffed at being burried and proceeded to beat RAVAGE down with one of the tombstone props, he left him laying then staggered to the back.

Next was the Internet Championship online match, on iwaflashfire.com the fans of the IWAFF voted for what match they wanted to see DWINDLE to take on LOGAN. The match was a Halloween surprise match and the surprise was a Blood Bath match. The first to dump their opponent in a poll of blood would win. LOGAN KINCAYDE back dropped DALE DWINDLE into the blood to capture the Internet Championship. Then GM JONES told LOGAN that he did not suspended him so he could win the title but did it because he did not like him and that he had a new personal assitant now. Then DWINDLE popped out of the blood and attacked LOGAN from behind and became the new Personal Assitant to GM JONES.

Next PANHEAD NELSON & EXECUTIONER took on TOMMY SAWYER and because MACK TRUCK was not there because he was stuck on the interstate when rumor had it that maybe PANHEAD and DIXIE flattened one of MACK's tires at a truck stop somewhere. But CORPORAL KNIGHT took his place. Before the match TOMMY asked SHAYNE CASTRO, IWA FF Promotor that he wanted DIXIE to be handcuffed to the ring. GM JONES then handcuffed DIXIE then she rubbed on GM JONES and gave him some flirtation and GM JONES slipped DIXIE the keys to the cuffs. And can you really blame him because DIXIE was looking hot as a firecracker. The match then started and it was a Bat on a Pole tag match. At the end DIXIE did her devious ways and unlocked herself and entered the ring and gave the opportunity to PANHEAD to hit TOMMY with the bat and got the win.

Next BRADFORD D. BATES started the interview for the 3 Stages of HEll match between World Champion, RAHN JORDAN and The TOWER. First to enter was the World Champion, RAHN JORDAN he went to talk but before any words can come out GM JONES stated that if JORDAN needed any help tonight just to see him. Then out came MERCILESS DON MATTHEWS who asked JORDAN if he had heard what SHAYNE CASTRO said at the meeting. Then sayed that "OBLIVION" was no more they had to go their own ways. JORDAN then stated that he did not care.
Then BILLY STARR came out and clotheslined MATTHEWS and then stared down JORDAN. Then MATTHEWS attacked BILLY and gave him a bombshell then left. THE TOWER then came out and stood tow to chest with JORDAN then said that the first stage would be First Blood. JORDAN then stated that the second stage would be Top Rope Impact. Then TOWER stated that the 3rd stage would be I QUIT. JORDAN then said that it was not fair that TOWER got to choose 2 things and him 1 so he needs to choose the referee and he wanted BOONE DANIELS. TOWER then said that the Senior Referee KEVIN BLUE would be the ref. So JORDAN suggested that the 2 refs have a ref your own match.

KEVIN BLUE took on BOONE DANIELS and with JORDAN's help BOONE won and got to ref the main event.

Next was "DC" JAMES BOULEVARD, LANCE CHRISTOPHER, and U.S. Champion, PHILLIP PAIN taking on each other in a King of the Mountain match for the U.S. title and the losers would be fired and only GM JONES could bring him back. This match was one of the best in the night and the highlight of the night was when the ladder hit the ropes turned a flip and landed in the audiennce luckily the fans scattered and noone was injured and they all erupted. Several times these men put their lifes on the line off the ladder. And let me tell you the way LACY and STACY CAPONE were dressed, LACY as a French maid and STACY as a night time nurse, they made all the men in the crowd have their heart stop. At the end it was LANCE clotheslining both BLVD and PAIN over the top where they bounced off the apron and headbutted LACY. Then LANCE hung the belt to win the match and the title. TOWER then came out to check on LACY but JORDAN was behind him and nailed him with the title belt and busted him open stacking the odds against TOWER because he was already bleeding. BLVD & PAIN were then fired.

Next was the Tractor Pull tag match with BUFORD T & TOW TRUCK against BIG COUNTRY & CHRIS VANADORE. First TOW TRUCK told BUFORD that the tractor he was bringing ran out of gas so he had t leave it on the side of the road. BUFORD said well lets just be the tractors and pulls these guys out of the ring. They all agreed so a hog tie pull out match was set. VANADORE then tied the rope around TOW TRUCK making him pass out. BUFORD T then won the match by clotheslining COUNTRY over then tieing up VANADORE and pulling him out. the LUG NUTS retained their titles. Then BUFORD poured the elixer on TOW TRUCK and woke him up.

Then the Career Suicide match between MERCILESS DON MATTHEWS & BILLY STARR this match was brutal inthe beginning brutal in the middle and more brutal at the end. The rules of this match was the ring was surrounded in barbwire with a 15 ft high scaffold. The only way to win is to pin your opponent then have him stay down for a 10 count but a pinfall only counts after an offensive move from the scaffold. The match ended with MERCILESS giving BILLY a bombshell from the scaffold and both men being counted out.

Next was the Main Event 3 Stages of HEll match for the World title The TOWER took on RAHN JORDAN and what a main event this was. With JORDAN busting open TOWER in the beginning of the match to win the first stage. Then the 7ft. 400lbs TOWER coming off the top rope with a head but on JORDAN to win the second stage. Then in an ultimate swirve, The TOWER appeared to be going to make JORDAN say I QUIT with a chicken wing lock but then the lights went out. The Fire Wall then played a exert from the movie "The Ring" then the girl fromthe ring walked out from under the fire wall, scaring the auidence to death. She walked up to Tower then Freddy Kougar and Jason clipped TOWER from behind and both grabbed a leg as JORDAN locked on a cross face until TOWER had no choice but to yell I QUIT. Then JORDAN removed the masks to reveal JAMES BLVD and PHILLIP PAIN, STACY CAPONE was the Ring girl. Apparently JORDAN did ask GM JONES for some assitance and being that he was the only one that could bring BLVD and PAIN back they helped JORDAN retain his World title and JORDAN joined "DC". They began to stomp TOWER as LACY came out to help her fallen hero. But BLVD pulled her away and stomped on the big man some more unitl LANCE CHRISTOPHER made the save and BLVD, PAIN and JORDAN escaped to the outside. Then from behind JORDAN PURPEL PASSION returned and chased JORDAN outside the building then back into the ring where TOWER gave him an implosion and held the belt high above JORDAN.

This was one of the greatest shows ever done by the IWA FF and we are anxious to see what will happen in Easely, SC Nov. 6 as the IWA FF "Backfires" from Fightmare 3!!!

    IWA:Flashfire "BackFire" Results 11-06-2004

    IWA:Flashfire Official Website

The IWA FF had an awesome show at the YMCA in Easley, it was the first time that the IWA FF has been to Easley and what a show it was.

First from the new "DC" PHILLIP PAIN tried to regain his U.S. title from LANCE CHRISTOPHER but it was to no avail as LANCE defeated PAIN with his "Attractive Splash" from the top.

Next GM JONES and his new personal assistant DALE DWINDLE entered the ring. JONES said that Easley had an awesome show lined up as DWINDLE had won the Internet poll and was scheduled to face LOGAN KINCAYDE. And the "LUG NUTS" BUFORD T & TOW TRUCK were scheduled to go against BIG COUNTRY & CHRIS VANADORE for the Tag Team titles.
DIXIE then came to ring side, and JONES got out of the ring then had a little flirty conversation with her and then he got back in the ring and said that the Tag Team match was now a Triangle Elimination match and PANHEAD NELSON & EXECUTIONER.
Then JONES said that the Main Event tonight was RAHN JORDAN & JAMES BOULEVARD facing THE TOWER & any partner of his choosing.
JORDAN & BLVD then came out and said that they indeed made TOWER say "I quit" and BLVD said the reason he joined forces with JORDAN is because JONES had them fired unless they conformed to his wishes and that was to help JORDAN. Also the decision was not hard to make sence TOWER had been messing around with his property LACY CAPONE.
TOWER then made his entrance, he said LACY was a person and his friend, he said that it took 3 people to make him say "I quit" well tonight he don't want no partner he wants to take on them by hisself.
JONES said No this was a tag match and therefore he needed a partner to compete.

DALE DWINDLE then stayed in the ring while the Internet Champion, LOGAN KINCAYDE came out and stated that sence DWINDLE was now the personal assistant that he was ineligble to win the Internet poll. So he got no shot.
JONES then told DWINDLE that he had forgot about that rule but he said that he would make a match right now and if DWINDLE won then he could win the Internet poll.
MERCILESS DON MATTHEWS then came out and said that he had put BILLY STARR in the hospital in the Career Suicide match. And that now he had fans sending him hate mail because he hurt BILLY STARR. Well he said that if an Internet title shot is on the line then he will defeat DWINDLE take the shot and make believe that DWINDLE is a fan sending him mail.
This match went on strong finally after MERCILESS gave DWINDLE a "bombshell" the ref made sure that DWINDLE was alright. BILLY STARR ran in from the front door hobbiling from a hurt back, but carring a big stick he got on the apron and nailed MERCILESS with it.
DWINDLE then got the cover and the win. So DWINDLE is scheduled to get an Internet title shot with no poll win.

Next the "LUG NUTS" successfully defended their Tag Team titles against BIG COUNTRY & CHRIS VANADORE and the team of PANHEAD NELSON & EXECUTIONER.
COUNTRY & VANADORE were eliminated after EXECUTIONER gave VANADORE a "Final Justice".
Then at the end DIXIE got on the apron to get the ref's attention, then PANHEAD went to use the bat. Then TOMMY SAWYER ran in and "super kicked" PANHEAD and allowed "LUG NUTS" the victory.

Next MACK TRUCK defeated SOLITUDE in a great match. SOLITUDE made a tremendous debut' but it was MACK TRUCK hitting the chokeslam for the win.

Next it was the Main Event, as RAHN JORDAN and JAMES BOULEVARD took on TOWER who announced his opponent LOGAN KINCAYDE. The match just started and JORDAN rolled up LOGAN and referee BOONE DANIELS made a fast count.
Then Senior referee KEVIN BLUE came out and attacked BOONE. Then Promotor SHAYNE CASTRO came out and said he just seen what went on in the back and he saw FIGHTMARE 3 and knew that BLUE & BOONE have been training to be wreslters so why not make the match tonight a 6 man.
This match was great as the 6 competitors took to the match and the air. Finally at the end it was BLVD who hit the TOWER with a massive "cul-de-sac" and then LACY CAPONE shoving back her sister STACY and getting on the apron and slapping BLVD right into TOWER's "Implosion" for the win.

The next show is Nov. 20 in Hartwell, Ga.

IWA:Flashfire "Sparks in the Air" Results; 11-20-2004; Hartwell, GA

    IWA:Flashfire Official Website

The IWA FF returned once more to Hartwell Middle School, with another great show.

First DALE DWINDLE recieved a shot at the Internet Championship when he defeated MERCILESS DON MATTHEWS at the last show. So to begin the night DWINDLE took on LOGAN KINCAYDE. This match was really fast paced and looked as if DWINDLE might take the title again. Then MATTHEWS came out and did the un thinkable and "bombshelled" both men simutaneously. He then called out BILLY STARR because they had unfinished business when BILLY clobbered him with a kendo stick at the last show.
BILLY came out there and both men brawled to the back.

Next "DC" RAHN JORDAN, JAMES BOULEVARD, PHILLIP PAIN, & STACY CAPONE came out. They said the reason that BLVD and PAIN joined up with him was because at FIGHTMARE 3, GM JONES told him if he needed any help to let him know and he needed help and BLVD & PAIN needed their jobs back. And because TOWER had this little afair going on with LACY the choice was simple. But he had another favor to ask of GM JONES and that was to make his and PURPLE PASSION's match tonight NO DQ. JONES did it.
Then PAIN had a request too and that was to make a non title match with him and LANCE.
BOULEVARD then had a request aswell and that was to make him and TOWER's match tonight a "must win" situation if TOWER lost then he could not have another World title shot against JORDAN.
The TOWER then entered with LACY and said that he would agree to that if LACY was the special referee.
Beleive it or not BLVD agreed as long as he could have a special interview with LACY with out TOWER.
Then out from behind "DC" PASSION came out and smacked JORDAN on the rear. JORDAN told him that there has been enough games and tonight he will beat him straight.

Next CHRIS VANADORE came out to the ring and said that his partner BIG COUNTRY was not present at the show therefore he needed a partner to help him take these Tag titles. Then PANHEAD NELSON with the devious DIXIE came out, he said his partner EXECUTIONER was not there either so he would join up with VANADORE.
The "LUG NUTS" BUFORD T & TOW TRUCK came out and was set to defend their tag titles against them. Then out from the back came BILLY & MERCILESS still fighting and they disrupted the match. Then SHAYNE CASTRO told GM JONES to have this match restarted as a six man tag.
In this match once more MERCILESS DON MATTHEWS hurt BILLY STARR, who probally was not fully recovered from his concussion. He was carried out on but the match continued. PANHEAD had TOW TRUCK down and he told DIXIE to bring him the bat. Then TOMMY SAWYER ranout and superkicked him and when the ref turned around TOW TRUCK got the win on PANHEAD. TOMMY let PANHEAD know that their dealings are not over with yet.

PHILLIP PAIN came out and then hid behind the entry way and awaited LANCE CHRISTOPHER for his non-title match. As soon as LANCE came out of the curtain PAIN clipped his leg and then BLVD & JORDAN came out and stomped on the ankle of LANCE. PAIN then rolled him in the ring and snapped on the ankle lock to make LANCE tap.

Next BOULEVARD called out LACY CAPONE and basically told her not to forget who brought her to this dance. Then CASEY J came out all dirty and BLVD and LACY left. CASEY said he has not bathed since FIGHTMARE 3 ever since he was burried alive. He will not until he defeats the CORPSE. But tonight he had him a partner and told the CORPSE to find him a partner for a tag match.

CASEY brought out MACK TRUCK and then CORPSE got SOLITUDE. This match was tooth and nail finally it was SOLITUDE who got the win on MACK TRUCK. Then TRUCK stole SOLITUDE's flag and left. Then CORPSE chokeslammed CASEY.

Next LACY CAPONE the specail referee came out then JAMES BOULEVARD with the lovely STACY CAPONE, took on The TOWER. This match was pretty much one sided as LACY took up for her man The TOWER. At one point BOULEVARD low blowed him and clipped his knee, he went of r the cover got a two count and LACY then stopped and answered her cell phone. She counted 2 for BOULEVARD again then stopped because she said she broke a nail. Finally at the end BOULEVARD grabbed LACY inthe corner and TOWER went to spalsh him and he moved and he got LACY again. He then turned around into the "cul-de-sac" and he grabbed LACY's hand and smacked the mat for 2 then TOWER grabbed it and then grabbed BOULEVARD around the goozel with his other hand and hit the "implosion" LACY counted 1....2....then held up the DC circle symbol and slapped TOWER. BOULEVARD then got up slowly kicked TOWER low and hit the cul-de-sac on him and grabbed a chiar and beat him sincless then got the 3 count. TOWER cannot have another shot at JORDAN as of right now. Then JORDAN, BOULEVARD, PAIN, LACY & STACY stood over TOWER and did his dance over him then PURPLE PASSION ran out with senior referee, KEVIN BLUE he rolled up JORDAN and the World title match began.

RAHN JORDAN then took on PURPLE PASSION this match was 6 months in the making. At the end PASSION had JORDAN rolled up and BLUE went for the pin then on 2 BOONE DANIELS ran out and pulled out BLUE. Then JORDAN rolled him UP and BLUE pulled out BOONE. Then the ref's started fighting again this led to Junior referee, CHRIS PRIDMORE to come out and give both a double coconut and taking over the match. Finally it was JORDAN hitting the "justified juke" for the win. Then "DC" came back out and put the boots to PASSION.

The next show is in Hartwell again on December 4th this time at the YMCA ( on Bowman Highway) then December 18, back at Hartwell middle school.

This post is short, but sweet.

If you are anyway near Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, UK tonight, get yourself to St. Joseph's Hall, over the road from Gateshead Metro and see the IWF.

Gateshead's best wrestling promotion are putting on a free show, in aid of Children in Need.

and no, I don't work for them, I am just a fan!

    Door opens: 6.30 - Saturday 27th November

IWA:Flashfire "Out of Control" Results; 12-04-2004

    IWA:Flashfire Official Website

The IWA FF returned to Hartwell, Ga but this time to the YMCA building, which caused a lot of confusion for a lot of the wrestlers.

The night started off with CASEY J still a little dirty he said that he would have defeated the CORPSE if it was not for SOLITUDE and he demanded that SOLITUDE face him. SOLITUDE came out and the match began. SOLITUDE had him beat till MACK TRUCK came out with his flag and started making fun of SOLITUDE. This turned his attention away and allowed CASEY to execute the "Casey in Point" for the win. They then atacked SOLITUDE but CORPSE made the save.

Next "DC" JAMES BOULEVARD, PHILLIP PAIN, & STACY CAPONE came out. They asked for GM JONES to come out. They told him that they were sceduled to face THE TOWER, PURPLE PASSION, and LANCE CHRISTOPHER in a six man. But RAHN JORDAN was not here yet so they asked that the match be canceled.
GM JONES agreed and canceled the match. Then Promoter SHAYNE CASTRO came out and said he has been noticing how GM JONES has been running the shows so tonight the match is not canceled and JORDAN better come or GM JONES will take his place. He then told them to leave.
He then said because of a concussion BILLY STARR has been forced into retirement. BILLY STARR came out and said that he was sorry to all of his fans, but the doctors told him that another "bombshell" like the one he had at Fightmare 3 could permantly injure him for life. He said he loved this business but had to leave. He was crying, then MERCILESS DON MATTHEWS came out he told BILLY that he was too old to do this and the match was Carreer Suicide Death match and his Career died that night no big loss. He told SHAYNE CASTRO that DWINDLE did not show up for the Internet title match tonight, so he wants the shot against LOGAN KINCAYDE. SHAYNE told him no at first, so MATTHEWS picked up BILLY in a "bombshell" until SHAYNE told him yes he could have the shot. He put BILLY down.

CORPSE then took on MACK TRUCK he had him in the chokeslam, then CASEY came out and threw powder in his eyes and MACK TRUCK rolled him up for the win. Then SOLITUDE came out and all four was laying waste of the other then GM JONES got a cellphone call and it was RAHN JORDAN. He then told everyone inthe ring to stop and said that SOLITUDE will face MACK TRUCK on the 18th in a lfag match and CORPSE and CASEY will take on each other in a Christmas Spirit match where each one will buy a Christmas present for the other and the winner will recieve their Christmas present.
He then was talking to JORDAN and found out that JORDAN had gone to the Middle School instead, the normal location, for Hartwell shows. He seen noone was there and he went back home.

Next match the Tag Team Champions the "LUG NUTS" BUFORD T & TOW TRUCK came out and said they would see who they had to face at the next show. First came out was CHRIS VANADORE who said that BIG COUNTRY got confused of the location as well and said he thought it was the IWA FF fault so he asked GM JONES to appoint him a partner for this match. GM JONES thought about it a minute and said that if he had to be in the last match then he would soften up the already injured U.S. Champion, LANCE CHRISTOPHER and make him be VANADORE's partner too. LANCE came out really ticked off still limping on that bad leg, that "DC" had injured at the last show. They took on PANHEAD NELSON & The EXECUTIONER with the lovely DIXIE. This match went on one sided as LANCE refuesed to help his partner any. Then finally TOMMY SAWYER came in and went to attack PANHEAD again. This time DIXIE grabbed his foot which allowed PANHEAD to take him down then all three hit LANCE then attacked SAWYER. The referee threw the match out. "LUG NUTS" made the save on TOMMY.

Next MERCILESS DON MATTHEWS w/ JOHNNY LOVE came out and defeated LOGAN KINCAYDE to become new Internet Champion and making him the second Grand Slam winner of the IWA FF.

GM JONES said that his assitant DALE DWINDLE was not here due to transportation trouble but he would make a Triple threat rematch at the next show and the fans can vote on what type of match it will be. He then said that JORDAN had not showed up yet and so he would be in this match, he had not wrestled in 20yrs but wil do it.

Then GM JONES, JAMES BOULEVARD, & PHILLIP PAIN, w/ STACY CAPONE took on LANCE CHRISTOPHER, PURPLE PASSION, THE TOWER. This match was a hot match and GM JONES showed out, taking PASSION to the limit. Finally TOWER put the "implosion" on PAIN and went for the win. Referee KEVIN BLUE counted 1....2...then GM JONES broke the count and said that he was fired and told BOONE DANIELS to come out now. Then finally BOULEVARD rolled up PASSION for the win.
Then SHAYNE CASTRO came back out and said that there would be a six man rematch and this time JORDAN better show up.

Next show ; IWA Flashfire : "Christmas Combustion" Dec. 18, Hartwell Middle School.

Wink IWA:Flashfire "Christmas Combustion" Results; 12-18-04

    IWA:Flashfire Official Website

The IWA FlashFire returned to their home base for their final show of the year.

This show started off with the Internet Champion, MERCILESS DON MATTHEWS coming to the ring but neither of his scheduled opponents showed up. But GM JONES stated that if anyone in the back that would like a free shot at the Internet title could come out and face MATTHEWS in the voted on Stocking Stuffer Match. Four stockings were hung from the turnbuckles with each having a differnt weapon that could be used.
TOMMY SAWYER had just returned form an injury by the hands of PANHEAD NELSON. TOMMY fought hard but DIXIE, PANHEAD's manager came out and hit him with PANHEAD's bat. MATTHEWS capitalized and won with a bombshell. Afterwards MATTHEWS let loose his rage on the helpless TOMMY SAWYER.

IWA FF Promoter SHAYNE CASTRO came into the ring and said that MATTHEWS problem was his uncontrolable rage. He then said he had a special gift for MATTHEWS and for GM JONES he had made a Co GM to share the responsibilites with the other GM. New Co GM the recently retired BILLY STARR.
BILLY came out and his first decision was he stripped MATTHEWS of the Internet title for his uncontrolable rage.
MATTHEWS then got even more irate and bombshelled SHAYNE CASTRO, BILLY immediatly fired him.
MATTHEWS then got up in BILLY's face and "DC" RAHN JORDAN and JAMES BOULEVARD along with the lovely LACY & STACY CAPONE came out and stopped MATTHEWS who looked at them then calmly walked away.
JORDAN then told GM JONES that PHILLIP PAIN was also not present and wished that the six man rematch form last show would be canceled. GM JONES agreed then new Co GM BILLY STARR said the match would go on as a six man handicapp match and the winners would be automatically included in the All-Star match at the "ALL-STAR REVOLUTION".

Next CASEY J took on CORPSE in a Christmas Spirit match. The Christmas Spirit match was some what undifined till after CASEY J won withthe "Casey in point". Then GM BILLY STARR stated that since CASEY won he would show a little Christmas Spirit to everyone and sing them a Christmas Carol. CASEY unwillingly sung an awful rendition of "Jingle Bells" to all of Hartwell. But thankfully CORPSE stopped him by chokeslamming him.

Next was the Flag match between MACK TRUCK and SOLITUDE. A few shows back MACK TRUCK had took SOLITUDE's American Flag, and now was his chance to get it back. The only way to win this match was to get the flag off the pole.
SOLITUDE captured the flag after a bowerbomb from the top.
Then MACK TRUCK got up during his celebration and started brawling with him in an attempt to steal the flag once more. But several other wrestlers were summoned to break them up.
GM JONES then came out and said that MACK TRUCK would face SOLITUDE one more time in a Lumberjack match at the "ALL-STAR REVOLUTION".

Next GM JONES stated that BILLY can not make any judgement unless they mutally agree. So he said the six man handicapp match was indeed canceled. Then TOWER, LANCE CHRISTOPHER, and PURPLE PASSION came out and TOWER held missletoe over GM JONES'head and PASSION then kissed him. TOWER said he would hold it over his head again and let PASSION violate him in an inappropriate manner unless he agreed with BILLY that the six man match would go as scheduled with the winners going to the All-Star match. GM JONES agreed.

Next because PANHEAD NELSON nor the EXECUTIONER arrived, "HORSE POWER" CHRIS VANADORE & BIG COUNTRY recieved Tag title shots against the "LUG NUTS" BUFORD T & TOW TRUCK. VANADORE used BUFORD T's elixer bottle to conk TOW TRUCK in the head behind the referee to win the titles. New Tag team Champions "HORSE POWER".

Next it was time for the six man handicapp match where the winners would go to the All-Star match. World Champion, RAHN JORDAN and JAMES BOULEVARD along with LACY & STACY Capone took on THE TOWER, U.S. Champion LANCE CHRISTOPHER and PURPLE PASSION. This six man handicapp match was the best match of the night. It was a hard fought tooth and nail match finally THE TOWER won with the implosion on the World Champion.
GM JONES then came out and said he had changed his mind the winners do not get to be in the All-Star match. Then GM BILLY came out and clotheslined GM JONES out of his shoes. He stated that the winner are indeed in the All-Star match then informed the knocked out JORDAN that he would also be in the All-Star match and the World title would be on the line.

Next show will be the "ALL STAR REVOLUTION" 1/22 Hartwell, Ga. Where the Main Event will be the All-Star match where all the champions and a few chosen IWA FlashFire "All-Stars" face off at a chance to win a World title shot well this year they will be going after the World title in a big elimination style of match. This is the only chance at the beginning of the year for a champion to upgrade their status and time for any wrestler involved to become an All-Star.

    New England Championship Wrestling

NECW NEWS: SNOWBRAWL Card Updated & More!

Lots of news in this week's NECW update, including the updated card for SNOWBRAWL:

New England Championship Wrestling kicks off 2005 with a return to live action on Saturday night, January 15th with a bell time of 7:00 PM at the Framingham Civic League, 214 Concord Street in Framingham. NECW officials have updated the card for SNOWBRAWL, which launches the year with a truly international event!

The main event, which had been previously announced, is a return match for the NECW Heavyweight Championship, as the new champion, "Revolution" Chris Venom does battle with the former champion, Michael Sain, managed by Alex Crowley. Venom capped off 2004 by winning the title in spite of the efforts of Alex Crowley at ringside. The monstrous former champion is an awesome and perhaps more dangerous now that he is without the title. While Venom has proven himself no fluke in 2004, you can bet that Alex Crowley will have a plan and the new champion could well be considered an underdog going into his first title defense.

Due to the events that took place last month in Framingham at UNWRAPPED, a special "Captains Match" has been signed with Dan Freitas of PRIDE taking on D.C. Dillinger of Sabotage. This is a rare singles outing for each man who will be out to extract a measure of revenge on the other. This week, NECW President announced that both Brian Nunes of PRIDE and Eddie Edwards of Sabotage are banned from ringside!

In a special grudge match, "The Egomaniac" Johnny Idol has been ordered to face El Boricua. Last month, Idol perpetrated a despicable attack on El Boricua that ended with Idol making the ultimate mockery of Boricua by putting on his ring outfit. The Latin star is incensed and NECW officials have ordered this explosive collision to take place at SNOWBRAWL.

In another rematch from NECW's UNWRAPPED, "The Pinnacle" Paul Lombardi collides with Pat Masters, this time with an extended time limit. These two went to a time limit draw last month in Framingham.

International stars return at SNOWBRAWL, as NECW officials have just announced that British star, Paul Tyrrell will be facing Tiger Fang in a Transatlatic Challenge Match. Also just announced, in a battle of former tag team champions, The Logans will meet the Canadian stars The All Knighters!

In other bouts, "Miracle" Mike Bennett returns to NECW action to take on Ru Starr. In tag team action, RAVE (Kristian Frost & Zack Statik) take on D-Unit (Doug Summers & Rocco Abruzzi). In women's action, it's a special challenge match between Ariel and Hayley Skye. In addition, there will special messages from "Big Guns" Frankie Arion and "The Golden Greek" Alex Arion.

Tickets for NECW's SNOWBRAWL are on sale now at the Civic League office and all Strawberries locations. For more information or to order tickets online, visit www.NECWwrestling.com.

In other NECW news, you can now purchase tickets to NECW live events at all Strawberries locations. NECW will be doing some exciting things with Strawberries in the coming months.

2004 was a great year for NECW and 2005 is going to be even bigger. If you have not purchased your season tickets for NECW at the Framingham Civic Legue, you have only one more week left! Don't miss out on the biggest bargain NECW has ever offered. Get them online at NECWwrestling.com

Later this week on NECW TV, we have a very special episode looking back at the incredible rise of "Revolution" Chris Venom to the very top in NECW. Venom had an unprecedented year winning one half of the tag team titles, capturing the first-ever IRON 8 Championship and now becoming NECW Heavyweight Champion. There will be highlights of all the great matches and words from Venom himself. It will be posted this Thursday on NECW TV.

Finally, NECW President, Sheldon Goldberg says he will be making a major announcement in the ring at SNOWBRAWL.

Thanks for reading and best wishes from all of us for a great New Year!

IWA:Flashfire "An All Star Revolution" Results

    IWA:Flashfire Official Website

IWA Flashfire "An All-Star ReVolution" Results
Hartwell Middle School - Hartwell, Ga. - Crowd was estimated 80

1.) Logan Kincayde won a Battle Royal for the vacated Internet Championship.

This match should have had more workers in it, there were only five. It started a little rough but as soon as they got on track there was a lot of good spots in this one. Casey J and James Boulevard did a tremendous job of back and forth reversing of each other's finishing move. Finally it was Logan backdropping Casey J over the top to win.

2.) Phillip Pain defeated "The Tower" Jason Swords, to win the U.S. title.

This match was interesting to watch as it was orignally booked to be Pain v/s the U.S. Champion Lance Christopher. But Lance did not show up, so Pain said that he would not be there tonight and should win the title on a forfiet. Then The Tower showed up and said that he had talked to Lance and knew the reason he would not show up and the Promoter will let him defend his title for him. This was a good match as Pain is only about 160 and The Tower is 7ft, 400lbs. There was a lot of high flying action from Pain with The Tower catching him and delivering a lot of hard bumps on Pain. Pain can take some crazy bumps and come up with some intersting spots, which pretty much made this match. Finally Pain won with interference which would build some irony later on in the night.

3.) Buford T & Solitude defeated the Tag Team Champions "Horse Power" Chris Vanadore and Big Country by DQ

This match was a little long winded but the highlight was Buford T. This man is really funny as he does a hillbilly gimmick complete with a moonshine jug of granny's elixer. This made some real good comedy in the show. It was Horse Power getting DQed when they hit Buford T with his own elixer jug.

4.) "The Tower" Jason Swords defeated Merciless Don Matthews, Purple Passion, Logan Kincayde, Tommy Sawyer, James Boulevard, Phillip Pain, and Rahn Jordan in an 8 man All-Star match to win the IWA FF Championship.

This match was very unique premise behind it. It is the IWA FF very own All-Star match. They have pre-selected some of their top guys to go against their champions in an 8 man eleimination match. Where everyone is against everyone. There was alot of great spots in this match. They did a Pyramid suplex, the set up was a little ragged but the delivering was very crisp and clean. The Tower had James Boulevard in a powerbomb where he cought Merciless with a hurricurana off the top, very cool.
At the end of several ref bumps it was The Tower defeating Rahn Jordan with the "Implosion" and "F-5 chokeslam" and finally getting his revenge on his adverasries who had cost him a match against Pain earlier. This was obivously the best match of the night.

Their next show is Feb. 5 at Lavonia Elementary School

NECW Sat 2/12/05 Framingham, MA - Les Thatcher to appear

It will be a historic night this coming Saturday at the Framingham Civic League, 214 Concord Street in Framingham, MA as New England Championship Wrestling returns to live action this Saturday night, February 12, 2005 for MELTDOWN. Bell time for this event is 7:00 PM.

In the main event, "Revolution" Chris Venom will put his NECW Heavyweight Championship on the line against Alex Crowley's latest acquisition, the legendary New England powerhouse, Kevin Landry. After last month's SNOWBRAWL in Framingham, Landry attacked the champion after the fans had left the building. Landry continued to taunt the champion in recent weeks on NECW TV and issued a challenge for a title match. Venom, not one to refuse a challenge, demanded that NECW officials sign the match and it is on for Saturday night, February 12th.

NECW history will be made as MELTDOWN will feature the semi-final and final matches in the tournament to crown the first ever NECW Television Champion. Opening and quarterfinal round matches, which were seen exclusively on NECW TV, have produced two outstanding semi-final battles. In a rematch from UNWRAPPED, "The Golden Greek" Alex Arion will face his brother, "Big Guns" Frankie Arion in the first semi-final. In a rematch from SNOWBRAWL, "The Professional" Ru Starr will try and even the score with "Miracle" Mike Bennett in the second semi-final. The winners will face off for the title the same night. Legendary wrestler, Les Thatcher, will be on hand in person to present the championship belt to the winner.

The NECW Tag Team Championship will be on the line as PRIDE (Dan Freitas & Brian Nunes) face former champions, Sabotage ("Die Hard" Eddie Edwards & D.C. Dillinger). These two teams, which were once allies, have been headed on a collision course for some time. This is somewhat of a dream match in NECW, as both teams are two time champions and are looking to establish themselves as the top team in NECW history.

Also signed is a special "Bling On a Pole Match" between "The Egomaniac" Johnny Idol and "El Boricua" Danny Diaz. Two months ago, Idol stole El Boricua's ring gear and jewelry after they collided in a match. Last month, NECW officials called for a rematch, but nothing was settled and Idol still has possesion of Boricua's bling. On Saturday night, February 12th, the "bling" will be suspended on a pole in one corner of the ring, and the first man to retrieve it will win the match.

In other bouts, there will be a special six man tag team elimination match with D-Unit (Rocco Abruzzi and Doug Summers) teaming up with "The Pinnacle" Paul Lombardi to take on RAVE (Kristian Frost & Zack Statick) and their partner, Pat Masters. Violet Flame, the self-proclaimed "uncrowned women's champion" will see action. In a special Slamtech Rookie Challenge, two future stars currently training at Slamtech Wrestling University will square off as Andy Burke goes up against Drew Donaldson. Plus, Tiger Fang, "Rocket" Fred Curry, Jr. and more will be seeing action.

Tickets are now on sale at all Strawberries locations and at the Civic League office. Tickets are also on sale now online at http://www.NECWwrestling.com .

A near sellout crowd witnessed a night of intense battles and historic events this past Saturday night at the Framingham Civic League as New England Championship Wrestling presented MELTDOWN.

The opener was a six man tag team elimiation match as Pat Masters and RAVE (Kristian Frost & Zack Statik) took on "The Pinnacle" Paul Lombardi and D-Unit (Doug Summers & Rocco Abruzzi). * The climax of the match came with Pat Masters, Paul Lombardi and Rocco Abruzzi remaining in the bout.* Masters beat Paul Lombardi with a roll-up, but Abruzzi followed up, pinning the exhausted Masters after a side slam.

In a special "Bling On a Pole Match", "El Boricua" Danny Diaz took on "The Egomaniac" Johnny Idol who had stolen Borcua's ring gear two months earlier.* Prior to the start of the match, "The Egomaniac" Johnny Idol noticed "Sweet" Scott Ashworth, who is set to be joining NECW shortly, in the crowd.* Idol berated Ashworth saying he wasn't good enough to be in NECW, then proceeded to attack Boricua.* Idol was relentless and had the match won, when he began to taunt Ashworth again.* This time, Ashworth went after Idol and knocked him off the ropes, giving Boricua time to recover and retrieve his gear from the top of the pole.

In women's action, Mercedes Martinez scored a controversial victory over the self-proclaimed "Uncrowned NECW Women's Champion" Violet Flame.* The turning point in the match was Violet attempting to pin Mercedes with her feet on the ropes.* The referee caught it and the match continued, but Martinez began to use aggressive tactics she had never shown in NECW before.* Martinez scored the victory over Violet Flame, but used her feet on the ropes to do so.* The referee did not see Martinez's feet on the ropes, so the decision stands.

Sabotage won the NECW Tag Team Championship for an unprecedented third time in another controversial bout.* After the vicious fireball attack by D.C. Dillinger on Dan Freitas, PRIDE's ability to defend the titles was a question mark going into the night. * After Sabotage was introduced, NECW President, Sheldon Goldberg came to the ring with the tag team title belts.* Goldberg then berated Sabotage and told them that he was cancelling the match, but D.C. Dillinger argued, saying that Sabotage had a valid contract for a title match and PRIDE had to make a mandatory title defense against them or be awarded the titles by forfeit.* Before Goldberg could respond, PRIDE's music started and Brian Nunes came out alone to battle both Dillinger and Edwards.* Nunes held his own for a while, but was eventually cut down by Eddie Edwards and both he and Dillinger began grinding down Nunes.* At that point, Dan Freitas came out with a bandaged eye, followed by his girlfriend, Haley Skye, who begged Frietas to stay out of the match.* Freitas would hear nothing of it and Nunes was able to muster up enough to tag his partner into the match.* Freitas put up a game fight, but referee Rich Bass finally stopped the match, after Dillinger began tearing at Freitas' bandage and the eye area began bleeding.

Next up was the World Premiere of D-Unit's new entrance video.* Doug Summers began to brag to the audience about how great their video was.* He and Rocco bruzzi brought folding chairs and popcorn into the ring and then invited the entire NECW locker room out to ringside to watch the video. * The tape played but someone switched the tape and what the audience saw was a hilarious spoof of D-Unit.* (We hope to have the video on line later this week.)

The first semi-final match of the NECW Television Title Tournament was up next with "The Golden Greek" Alex Arion scheduled to face his brother "Big Guns" Frankie Arion.* Last week, NECW officials were informed that Frankie had suffered a fractured ankle, but were giving Frankie the chance to be medically cleared for his match in the tournament.* Frankie came out on crutches and confronted Alex, but NECW President, Sheldon Goldberg came out and said that especially after the earlier incident with Dan Freitas, he was not allowing Frankie to wrestle. NECW officials and "Brutal" Bob Evans came out to try and break things up, but Alex Arion ended up attacking Frankie from behind.* Evans and Arion began to mix it up and a battle ensuded between the two.* Evans said he wanted Arion in a match. * Sheldon Goldberg sanction the bout and the referee rang the bell.* Evans and Arion, who have a long and bitter history as rivals in the past, seemed to rekindle their feud as they brawled all over the Civic League.* Both men were disqualified, and Alex Arion was eliminated from the TV Title Tournament.

The next bout, which was originally scheduled as a semi-final bout in the tournament, would then become the final.* NECW President, Sheldon Goldberg introduced special guest Les Thatcher, who would present the new championship belt to the winner.

In what was now the final match of the tournament, Ru Starr took on "Miracle" Mike Bennett in a rematch from last month.* Before the match began, Michael Sain came out and brutally attacked Bennett as revenge for Sain getting himself counted out in a quarterfinal bout with Bennett seen on NECW TV.* Officials finally got Sain to the back and restored order, while the already beaten down Bennett got into the ring and the match with Ru Starr began. * Bennett managed to recover and took the battle to "The Professional," but in the end Ru Starr was too much for "The Miracle" and Starr became the first ever NECW Television Champion.

Scheduled next was the Slamtech Rookie Challenge, with Slamtech students Andy Burke and Drew Donaldson set to face each other.* Before the match began, two masked men came out and intrduced themselves as Execution (Bonebreaker and Skullkrusher), an internationally famous tag team, who were demanding a spot on the card.* They made fun of Burke and Donaldson and challenged them to a tag team match.* The rookies accepted and took the battle to Execution. * The masked men dominted the bout, but got too confident and Burke rolled up Bonebreaker to score the upset win.

In the main event, NECW Heavyweight Champion, "Revolution" Chris Venom collided with the powerhouse, Kevin Landry accomapnied by Alex Crowley.* Venom took the fight to the muscular Landry and a see-saw battle ensued.* Landry knocked Venom out of the ring using the NECW Championship Belt and managed to score a win over Venom via countout.* Alex Crowley put the belt around Landry's waist and declared himself the NECW Heavyweight Champion.* Crowley and Landry then left with the belt.* The title cannot change hands on a countout and the belt was later returned to Venom who appealed to NECW officials and demanded a rematch.

NECW officials have approved that match when the promotion returns to Framingham on Saturday night, March 19th.

IWA:Flashfire "Reloaded" Results; 2-5-5; Lavonia, GA

    IWA:Flashfire Official Website
IWA Flashfire " Reloaded" - Feb. 5, 2005 - Lavonia Elementary School - Lavonia, Ga.
    (Estimated Attendance - 150)

    Alley Casinova defeated Kasey Anderson

Both of these competitors are originally from PPCW in Columbia SC visiting the IWA FF. They had a good showing in this opening contest. Casinova is approaching the 300lbs mark and Anderson was probally around 170 and was simply over powered Casinova.

Lance Christopher defeated Solitude for U.S. Top Contension

This match put 2 babyfaces together and was a great contest. Lance made a good showing in the opening of the contest but Solitude was soon to recover was some nice power spots and some stiff looking punches. Towards the end the ref took an accidental bump from Solitude which gave Lance an open oportunity to give Solitude some hellacious chair shots to score the win.

"Horse Power" Chris Vanadore & Big Country defeated "Stateline" Tommy Sawyer & Mack Truck w/ Dixie Victory to retain Tag Team Championships

"Stateline" made a very impressive debut against the fan favorites "Horse Power". Tommy Sawyer has some very good savat kicks and awesome areal techniques combined with the raw power of Mack Truck should give this team a good showing for 2005. "Horse Power" has youth and athletism working for them but both are still quite green but when "Stateline's" manager Dixie accidently hit her own man Mack Truck with the belt it gave "Horse Power" an easy victory.

    Johnny Blaze defeated Sledge

These competitors are also regulars for PPCW but both made a good showing for the IWA Flashfire fans. This match was very basic but had a lot of good action involved in it. Johnny Blaze scored the vicotry with a very nice looking swan tan bomb.

Logan Kincayde defeated Buford T to retain Internet Title

This match was interesting to watch because of the good comedy of the fun loving Buford T. Logan scored the win when he held the ropes on a roll up from Buford T's off the shoulder stunner attempt.

"DC" Rahn Jordan, Phillip Pain, & James Boulevard defeated "Oblivion" The Tower, Merciless Don Matthews, & Casey J

This was obivously the most action packed match of the night. Matthews and Boulevard opened the contest with some fast paced spots ending with Matthews giving Boulevard an Abyss black hole slam. They did some very impressive six man spots ending with Matthews and Tower throwing Casey for an over the top poncha on all three members of DC. Finally it was Jordan scoring the win, when Matthews and Casey turned on The Tower.

The IWA Flashfire's next show will be Feb. 12, 2005 at Hartwell Middle School - Hartwell Ga. at 8 pm.

IWA:Flashfire "Heated Passion" 2-12-5; Hartwell, GA

IWA Flashfire : "Heated Passion" - Feb. 12, 2005, Hartwell Middle School, Hartwell, Ga.
    (Estimated Attendance 75)

Krazy K & Dexter Poindexter defeated Cory Steele & David Sloan
This match was absolutely entertaining it had mixture of the krazy spots of Krazy K and Dexter and the power of Steele and Sloan. This was an excelent way to start off the night.

Lance Christopher beat Phillip Pain to win United States Championship.
This match was also good. Lance was the babyface but got booed because the fans will not stop cheering for Phillip Pain. Lance finally won with a ddt type of manuver. Then the heal team known as the ICONS (Jordan, Blvd, Casey J, Matthews) came out and jumped Pain turning him back babyface, smart move.

Buford T defeated Logan Kincayde in a hogtie match to win the Internet Championship
The Internet Championship now gets votes on the IWA FF message board linked off their website. The votes are now for what type of match the competitors will have this time it was a hogtie match. The object was to hogtie your opponent so he can not escape while you ring the bell. The lovable Buford T hogited Logan after a chicken wing slam.

    Boulevard beat Kirk Prodigy
This match was very interesting to watch. Prodigy has raw power and is well built which gave him the ability to do a lot of power spots to Boulevard, who is a crafty veteran. This match was full of action with Prodigy getting a little more of the offense. It was Boulevard winning with his cul-de-sac finish.

    Solitude defeated Johnny Blaze
This match had a lot of back and forth action. But at the end it was Solitude getting the win after Bubba Grudge hit Blaze with a chair.

"Stateline" Tommy Sawyer & Mack Truck went to double count out with "Soul Generation" Playa & Ice
This was a great return for "Soul Generation" who had not been to IWA FF in 2 years. This made a great showing with lots of good tag team action. Tommy Sawyer has extraodinary arial ability and Mack Truck has great power which made this match. Playa and Ice have been around along time and know how to work the crowd. This was a good match ending in a double coutn out.

Purple Passion beats Rahn Jordan in a beddy bye match
The rules to the beddy bye match were simple be the frist to pin your opponent on a bed that was by ring side. This match was very comical as Passion who is a gay masked wrestler has been having the hots for Jordan for over 7 months now. It is funny to see Jordan's facial expressions as he runs from terror from Passion's lovin'. It was Passion who gave Jordan and x-factor on the bed for the win.

"The Tower" Jason Swords defeats Merciless Don Matthews & Casey J in a handicapp match.
This match was a good display of strength and power from the 7ft 400lbs Jason Swords. He took it too both men who contantly double teamed him. They had a lot of great power spots and at the end it was Swords getting the win with his Implosion on Casey J.

The IWA Flashfire's next show is Mar. 5 at the Hartwell YMCA, "Wars & Rumors of Wars"

Saturday 5th March sees the beginning of an action-packed year for the North London town of Finchley, with Revolution British Wrestling making at least four appearances throughout the year.

Finchley RBW wrestling events began in September this past year with a very successful event. Due to high demand, another event was squeezed in during the start of December before the Christmas festive period began.

Coupled with the RBW wrestling events in nearby Chingford (North-East London), these make up the only regular events to take place in the whole of North London, and with the excitement of some new venues to be announced soon, it looks like 2005 will be a great year for every North London wrestling fan!

The first Finchley event of 2005 kicks off in style, with one of the most anticipated RBW clashes between two bitter rivals, the former British Welterweight Champion, Sammy Ray and the wrestler who claims he is taking over, "Flying" Phil Powers. A huge Championship vs Championship contest is also on the show, putting "Misfit" Jorge Castano and his British Middleweight Championship against Kid Regis and his British Welterweight Championship.

To top that off, we also have two other singles contests, starring some of the Midlands wrestlers that often appear in Revolution British Wrestling, "Sadistic" Jack Storm vs Morales and "Sensation of the Nation" Rob Hunter vs Saul Adams.

Sammy Ray vs "Flying" Phil Powers

    Grudge Match

The evening of Saturday 24th July 2004 will be forever remembered for the shocking events of a British Welterweight Championship contest between the reigning Champion, Sammy Ray and challenger, "The Gift" Ross Jordan in Chingford, London. Tension was already high, with both wrestlers having crossed paths on several occasions in the past, and Ross Jordan being a former Champion himself.

Refereeing the contest was British wrestler "Flying" Phil Powers, who was making his first RBW appearance. Powers was already known as being controversial in his own right in the past, yet a touching speech made by him in relation to the recent death of British wrestling veteran and TV actor "Bomber" Pat Roach saw a different side to Powers, or so we thought.

Having officiated all of the evening's contests, Phil Powers called every match right down the middle, being impartial to all competitors. As the Sammy Ray vs Ross Jordan match approached and Powers asked for the British national anthem to be played, no one was expecting the following events.

The contest took place, with both wrestlers wrestling competitively. Some cheating behind the back of Powers' back by Ross Jordan saw him retrieve the Championship belt, bringing it into the ring with the intention of assaulting Sammy Ray with it. However he was cut short by Powers who snatched the belt from him and started a heated argument between the two, and then to a huge shock, Powers hit Sammy Ray with it, allowing Ross Jordan an easy pinfall victory and the Championship was won.

Moments later, Phil Powers unveiled his reasons for doing what he did, claiming that he here to take over RBW and to get rid of wrestlers who represent things that are wrong with British wrestling, with his first port of call being Sammy Ray. Powers' spotlight was stolen by the New Breed tag team member and Chingford hometown star Ashe, who got into the ring and stood up for Sammy Ray.

A challenge was made for the next event in Chingford that November, with Sammy Ray and Phil Powers due to clash. Unfortunately as the event came, neither wrestler was able to make the event due to unforeseen problems. The two clashed briefly in a Battle Royal though in Hitchin, Hertfordshire that October, but little was finished between the two wrestlers.

With months having passed since these shocking events, RBW officials have hoped that the heated situation between the two wrestlers may have cooled down.

A match has been signed between the two for RBW's event in Finchley, London on Saturday 5th March, which could prove to be one of the most explosive contests to take place in RBW history.

"Sensation of the Nation" Rob Hunter vs Saul Adams
    Singles Contest

The year 2003 saw Rob Hunter compete with the stigma of being one of the breakout wrestlers of the year.

Appearing in RBW against the likes of James Mason and Johnny Kidd saw Rob Hunter get to wrestle the top names in British wrestling that to date, he hadn't had the opportunity to wrestle before.

Unfortunately for the wrestling world, Rob Hunter took a break towards the end of 2003, not returning until May 2004. From here, Rob Hunter competed several times, namely picking up a shocking upset victory over Johnny Kidd in Enfield, London/Middlesex.

2005 has already seen Rob Hunter defeat Morales, and he is looking to make 2005 his year in British wrestling.

Saul Adams is a newcomer to RBW. Debuting recently in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, not too much is known about the Midlands wrestler, other than the fact that he can wrestle, and that he did himself proud in his contest against "Sadistic" Jack Storm.

Adams is a rising name in the Midlands, and we hope that he goes far in Revolution British Wrestling.

    Title vs Title Showdown!

For the first time ever in RBW history, we will see a Championship vs Championship contest between the British Welterweight Champion, Kid Regis and the British Middleweight Champion, "Misfit" Jorge Castano. The winner will walk away with both Championships, and be the first ever wrestler in RBW to be a double-Champion in the singles division.

RBW matchmakers have signed this contest in the interests of the audience, claiming that this contest will have a large amount of depth to it, with so much being at stake, which should see both wrestlers compete at their best.

Kid Regis won the British Welterweight Champion only recently, at the beginning of February, in Chingford, London. Regis defeated the reigning Champion, "The Gift" Ross Jordan in what was considered to be an upset victory.

If Kid Regis can win this contest, it will again be classed as an upset, as he is in there with the British Middleweight Champion, "Misfit" Jorge Castano, who has held the Championship for eight long months.

Castano has unarguably taken on every challenger to the title, defeating the likes of Johnny Kidd, "Wonderkid" Jonny Storm, Dragon Phoenix and many more. It was even Castano who cut short "Anarchist" Doug Williams' entry into RBW action during the British Heavyweight Championship Tournament, defeating him to advance in the tournament.

While it would be impossible to claim that Castano has defeated everyone fairly, it is unarguable that his talent and ability has been made clear, and he remains to be one of the most competitive wrestlers in the country. With Castano still in the British Heavyweight Championship Tournament, if he defeats Kid Regis for the British Welterweight Championship, and win the tournament, he could become the first ever triple-Champion!

This contest has an interesting twist to it, being the fact that the winner will walk away with both Championships. Will it be Kid Regis who surprises us once again? Or will it be Jorge Castano who manages to take one step closer to complete domination?

    J.C Thunder vs Morales
    Singles Contest

One wrestler who unarguably broke out of his shell during 2005 is British Tag Team Champion and Southern Alliance member, J.C Thunder. The arrogant redhead made a lot of enemies throughout the year and scoring some questionable victories over them.

J.C Thunder is also still in the British Heavyweight Championship Tournament after defeating the New Breed's Curve back in Chingford, London during November. The over-confident J.C Thunder believes that he will be walking away with the Championship this year, as the tournament progresses.

Morales on the other hand hasn't had such a good time recently. After making a return to RBW action last July (coincidentally against Jack Storm), Morales only managed to appear one more time that year in tag team action alongside Dragon Phoenix who together managed to pick up a victory over the Swift Justice tag team in Finchley during September.

So far this year, Morales has had one singles bout against "Sensation of the Nation" Rob Hunter, in which he was the loser.

Despite a mixed win/loss record, Morales undeniably has the talent to succeed, and perhaps in his attempt against J.C Thunder, he will end up as the winner.

"Sadistic" Jack Storm and Dave Maverick vs Riccardo Young and Bobby Hostile (Project Future)
    Tag Team Contest

In a tag team collision, the up and coming Project Future tag team once again have a tough challenge, this time in the form of an unlikely tag team partnership in the form of Birmingham's "Sadistic" Jack Storm and South London's Dave Maverick.

The team of Storm and Maverick comes as a surprise, with both wrestlers never crossing paths before. For Jack Storm, this will be his second appearance in Finchley following his British Heavyweight Championship Tournament elimination at the hands of Tex Benedict back in September 2004. Storm has since appeared once this year, defeating the debut wrestler Saul Adams in successful fashion in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

Meanwhile, his tag team partner Dave Maverick only has a couple of appearances to his name. Maverick has taken part in extensive training at the RBW Training Centre in Enfield, London/Middlesex, the same as his two opponents. At the centre, the likes of Johnny Kidd, "Misfit" Jorge Castano, "Wildcat" Robbie Brookside, Sammy Ray and many others have played a role in making Maverick an impressive wrestler.

The opposition for them both is the Project Future tag team, making their second appearance in Finchley, following an upset victory in December 2004 over "The Gift" Ross Jordan and J.C Thunder. The team is rapidly rising the tag team ranks in RBW, and look to be "the team to watch" in 2005. The duo recently had a singles contest against each other in Chingford, London in what was a great sporting bout, seeing Bobby Hostile narrowly pick up the victory.

The unpredictable nature of this contest makes it very interesting indeed, can the unlikely combination of Storm and Maverick pull of a victory or will the RBW rookie tag team Project Future once again add another victory to their unbeaten tag team record?

The new British Welterweight Champion, Kid Regis, has spoken to us in regards to his upcoming match this Saturday against the reigning British Middleweight Champion, "Misfit" Jorge Castano, in Finchley, London.

Kid Regis requested that this statement would be put around for everyone to see, including Jorge Castano himself.

    Regis said:

"This Saturday I am wrestling Jorge Castano in London.

I've watched him cheat around the country and I am determined to stop him.

Now I may not be as big as you Jorge, but the bigger they are, the harder they fall, and I'm going to look bigger than you when I have two Championships around my waist.

Bring it on Jorge, we British love to mix it up."

RBW Wrestling Training This Sunday In Enfield, London/Middlesex
    With Sammy Ray!

This Sunday sees wrestling training taken by the former British Welterweight Champion, Sammy Ray.

The year 2004 for Ray saw his best year yet, with him winning the British Welterweight Championship, leading the top 10 rankings and becoming runner-up in the Wrestler of the Year award.

Also that year, Sammy Ray joined the training team, and was the trainer for many sessions throughout the year.

The sessions are at the normal times and the recently reduced prices. Full information can be found at http://www.rbwtraining.co.uk .

    Training Information

At Revolution British Wrestling we offer people the chance to train in a safe environment with expert training from fully insured professional wrestlers. The trainers include the likes of top technical wrestling star and former British Middleweight Champion Johnny Kidd, British Middleweight Champion “Misfit” Jorge Castano, ‘Wildcat’ Robbie Brookside, former British Welterweight Champion Sammy Ray, Tex Benedict and Ashe from The New Breed. There are also a number of regular special guest wrestlers which have included “The Gift” Ross Jordan, J.C Thunder, Stixx, Chris Wyld, Spud and “Sadistic” Jack Storm.

Our training centre is based at the London Martial Arts Centre, which is in Enfield, North London/Middlesex. Travelling to training is easy, with Enfield Town and Gordon Hill being the two closest train stations, served by London Liverpool Street and London Kings Cross respectively. Two bus routes operate from outside the training centre regularly. Additionally, if driving, Enfield is located conveniently near the M25 and the A10 routes.

If you decide to come to our centre, on your first session you will need to sign up for insurance membership, which gives you the peace of mind in case any unlikely accidents should occur. This costs £8 if you are aged 16 or over and £5 if you are between 8 and 15 inclusive, per year.

We have two sessions on a Sunday, those being the regular session and the advanced session. We advise people who have not wrestled before or have not been wrestling for a long time to come to the regular session where you can learn the basics of wrestling. People who have been wrestling before and feel that they are ready to move on to more advanced learning can attend the second, more advanced session. You are welcome to attend both sessions if you wish which will provide you with more training and the trainers may also advise people when they are ready to move on and push themselves that little bit harder!

The cost of both sessions is £6 each for adults and £5 for children per session. For adults, if you do both sessions there is a discount of £2, costing a total of £10. The regular session begins at 11am and lasts until 1pm. Then the advanced session starts promptly until 3pm.

If training goes successful for you there is the possibility of being booked on Revolution British Wrestling shows all around the country. Currently the Project Future tag team of Riccardo Young and Bobby Hostile are making waves in British wrestling and many other trainees at the RBW London Training Centre have also appeared on events. Many opportunities are given to trainees as long as we believe they are ready to perform and professional in their conduct.

Exeter, Devon Wrestling Training This Saturday With Tex Benedict!

The RBW training centre in Exeter, Devon holds another weekly session this coming Saturday.

The centre, now open for two months, has already seen some very promising trainees, who could make names for themselves in active competition in the future.

This week's session is set to be taken by the top welterweight, Tex Benedict.

The over-confident American star, Tex Benedict is claiming that 2005 will be his best year yet, and with him putting on great performances against all opponents, it's quite possible that this will happen. Despite recently loosing in the British Heavyweight Championship Tournament to Johnny Kidd, Benedict has also set his sights on the British Welterweight Championship, currently held by Kid Regis. Recently, Tex Benedict also managed to gain a pinfall victory over international star Neil Faith who made a return appearance to RBW in February.

Unknown to most, Tex Benedict actually holds a sports teaching diploma from his activities in the USA, which will undoubtedly help his teaching at the RBW London Training Centre this week.

We hope to see you all there!

Exeter is a busy university city and regional centre for the county of Devon, Exeter is a superbly sited city encompassing all the convenience of urban life within sight of some of Britain’s finest countryside. Exeter is starved of wrestling training and wrestling in general, with only a few wrestling shows taking place during the year.

The wilderness hills of Exmoor and Dartmoor are on the city’s doorstep, the English seaside ‘Riviera’ of Torbay a short drive away, and the sailing havens of the Exe and Dart rivers start just about at the city limits.

RBW training centres have already been launched in both Hampshire and London, as well as a previous one in Nottingham. Plans will see more centres opened throughout 2005 in other locations.

RBW Wrestling Training This Sunday In Enfield, London/Middlesex
    With Tex Benedict!

This Sunday sees another session taken by international star and top welterweight competitor, Tex Benedict at our Enfield-based training centre.

Tex Benedict competed for RBW all through 2004 and made waves, clashing against the likes of Johnny Kidd, Sammy Ray, "Sadistic" Jack Storm and many others. This year has been mixed for Benedict so far, firstly being eliminated from the British Heavyweight Championship Tournament by Johnny Kidd in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. However, a week later, Tex Benedict bounced back, surprisingly defeating Calgary, Alberta, Canada's Neil Faith (a former UK resident) in what was Faith's last UK match for a long time to date.

Unknown to most, Tex Benedict actually holds a sports teaching diploma from his activities in the USA, which will undoubtedly help his teaching at the RBW London Training Centre this week.

Venom Retains, Curry Comes Close and Much More as NECW's MARCH BADNESS Tours Kicks Off in Plainfield, CT*

NECW returned to the Plainfield Town Hall last night in front of a near capacity crowd to kick off the MARCH BADNESS TOUR 2005.* Barber Construction, Inc and J & R Promotions sponsored the event.

The night got underway with Afterburn (Ray Diamond & P.C. Carmichael) teaming with “El Boriqua “Danny Diaz getting an impressive victory over D-Unit (Doug Summers & Rocco Abruzzi) and the masked man known as The Saint when Diaz caught The Saint with a powerslam.

In women’s action, Mercedes Martinez defeated Violet Flame, who came out with her toy belt, once again claiming to be the “Uncrowned NECW Women’s Champion.”* Mercedes got the pin over Violet using her feet on the ropes after Violet Flame tried to use the same tactic unsuccessfully.*
    *
In a special challenge match, Pat Masters defeated Grayson Alexander in an unusual in-ring turn for the announcer.* Masters caught Alexander with the facebuster to score the pinfall.

Michael Sain defeated “Miracle” Mike Bennett with the Psycho driver.* Sain just demolished Bennett, but to the Miracle’s credit, he never backed up and gave Sain a great fight.* Bennett says he’s not through with Sain yet.

Aaron Morrison returned to NECW action taking on “Sweet” Scott Ashworth. Ashworth has quickly developed into a big fan favorite in NECW.* “The Egomaniac” Johnny Idol, who has had issues with Ashworth lately came out to ringside.* Morrison managed to squeak by the “Sweet One” with the help of interference by Idol.

In what has to be considered a huge upset, “The Pinnacle” Paul Lombardi defeated two-time NECW Champion, “Brutal” Bob Evans.* It appeared that Evans was another victim of Lombardi’s allegedly loaded elbow.* Evans was incensed and said that he’s not through with Lombardi by a longshot.

In a match for the NECW Television Championship, “Rocket” Fred Curry, Jr. defeated Ru Starr by disqualification.* “The Rocket” took the fight to Ru Starr but “The Egomaniac” Johnny Idol was again at ringside.* This time the referee called for the disqualification on Starr, who saved his title thanks to Idol.* Curry has asked for a rematch and he’ll get it this Saturday night in Framingham.

In tag team action, RAVE (Kristian Frost and Zack Statick) scored an impressive win over Execution (Bonebreaker and Skullkrusher) in a hard fought battle.

In the main event, NECW Heavyweight Champion, “Revolution” Chris Venom defeated “The Egomaniac” Johnny Idol with the top rope elbow.* Ru Starr was at ringside for Idol this time, but it didn’t last long, as Fred Curry came out and ran Starr off.* After Venom scored the victory, Ru Starr and Paul Lombardi both ran in to attack Venom after the bell.* “Sweet” Scott Ashworth, Fred Curry and “Brutal” Bob Evans came out and a brawl ensued.* Ashworth and Curry challenged Johnny Idol and Ru Starr to a tag match on next week’s NECW TV.

NECW will be announcing a return date to Plainfield later this week.

In the main event, "Revolution" Chris Venom defends the NECW Heavyweight Championship in a rematch against the veteran powerhouse, Kevin Landry, managed by Alex Crowley.* Venom is looking for revenge after suffering a loss via count out and Landry stealing the championship belt.* Venom is still the champion, since the title can't change hands on a count out, but this feud is getting personal.

In a rematch from last night's event in Plainfield, CT, Ru Starr must defend the NECW Television Title against "Rocket" Fred Curry, Jr.* Curry was so close to victory last time that an immediate rematch was granted.

Exeter, Devon Wrestling Training This Saturday With The UK Kid!

This Saturday's training session in Exeter, Devon sees the session taken by the new regular trainer, the UK Kid.

The UK Kid is one of the select few wrestlers who has managed to have a successful career both in Great Britain as well as abroad. The UK Kid began his career in the UK, turning pro at 16. At the age of just 18, he moved to San Antonio, Texas, where he trained and graduated at the wrestling training school of famous American wrestler, WWE superstar, Shawn Michaels.

For the following years, the UK Kid wrestled extensively for over seventeen promotions in the USA, whilst sometimes returning to the UK to compete over here for various tours. At the age of 20, the UK Kid became a trainer himself in America, and around the same time, worked alongside some of the biggest names in American independent wrestling.

Now aged 23, the UK Kid is returning to Great Britain once again following his last trip last year that saw him compete for RBW in February. This time round we hope to see him back in the ring again, and he has agreed to be the main trainer each week for training sessions in Exeter, Devon for us, which we hope that everyone enjoys.

Necw Results / Breakthrough Tour / Superslam

NECW RESULTS / BREAKTHROUGH TOUR / SUPERSLAM

Venom-Landry Brawl, Mercedes Betrays Her Fans, RAVE Win Tag Titles and much more at NECW's MARCH BADNESS This Past Saturday Night in Framingham, MA!

New England Championship Wrestling returned to the Framingham Civic League this past Saturday night in front of another near capacity crowd for the final leg of the MARCH BADNESS Tour and a night which saw a number of upsets, including a major title change, a shocking betrayal and much more.

The 9 bout extravaganza began with former NECW Tag Team Champions, The Logan Brothers getting a convincing victory over D-Unit (Doug Summers & Rocco Abruzzi).* The Logans are looking to get back into title contention and this victory was a big step toward that goal.

In a special grudge match, "The Egomaniac" Johnny Idol stole a win from "Sweet" Scott Ashworth, thanks to the outside interference of NECW Television Champion, Ru Starr.* Ashworth has already demanded a rematch and this feud is just beginning to boil.

NECW President, Sheldon Goldberg came to the ring with a drawstring bag and called out Violet Flame, the self-proclaimed "Uncrowned NECW Women's Champion," complete with plastic championship belt.* Goldberg told Violet to get rid of that toy belt and if he ever saw her with it again, she'd be suspended.** He then said that in fact, Violet should be thanked because people were so sick of seeing that cheap toy belt that it was time for something to be done about it.* Goldberg took out a championship belt from the bag and explained that it was the original New England Women's Championship Belt - a title Violet once held years before the formation of NECW.* He said that on Sunday, June 8th there will be a special event held in Somerville, MA at Good Time Emporium - a first ever day-night doubleheader.* In the afternoon, the stars of NECW would compete with all titles being defended.* That night, the original women's belt would be put up in an 8 women elimination tournament and the winner would get the belt, which would then become the NECW Women's Championship.

Following this announcement, we went to a women's triple threat match with Violet Flame taking on Mercedes Martinez and Hayley Skye, now going by the name Natalia.** With the announcement of a women's title tournament, the action was inspired and the battle went back and forth between the trio.* Natalia managed to roll up Mercedes to get the victory.* After the bell, the NECW Tag Team Champions, Sabotage (D.C. Dillinger & Eddie Edwards) came to the ring to threaten Natalia, who is also the girlfriend of PRIDE's Dan Freitas (currently sidlined after Dillinger hit him in the face with a fireball weeks ago).* Mercedes got right in Dillinger's face and said that she and Natalia weren't afraid of them and challenged them to a match right then and there.** Before anything happened, Mercedes shocked everyone by attacking Natalia.* It then became a three on one attack.* Mercedes then said she blamed Natalia for her losing the IWA Mid-South Women's Title and that she was tired of being screwed over by everyone.* Mercedes said she was aligning herself with Sabotage to the dismay of NECW officials.

From there, Pat Masters got a win over the rugged Aaron Morrison in a closely fought contest.* Masters look like he was almost done after missing his finishing move call the Honor Roll, but managed to hang on and roll up Morrison for the pin.

In a return grudge match, former NECW Heavyweight Champion, Michael Sain, with Alex Crowley in his corner, defeated "Miracle" Mike Bennett - but not by much.* This was an epic battle between the explosive power of the former champion and the will power of the young challenger.* Bennett, outweighed by at least 40 pounds, took the measure of the maniacal Sain and came close to victory with numerous near falls, but the big man managed to pull out a win.** Sain attacked Bennett after the match, but the "Miracle" refused to bow to the former champion.

In a return challenge match, "The Pinnacle" Paul Lombardi scored what some might think is an upset victory over former NECW Champion, "Brutal" Bob Evans.* Challenges have gone back and forth between these two, but in the end on this night it was the youth and persistence of Lombardi that prevailed over the veteran former titleholder.

NECW Television Champion, Ru Starr once again battled third generation star, "Rocket" Fred Curry, Jr.* Despite the presence of "The Egomaniac" Johnny Idol at ringside, Curry gave the champion everything he had.* Unfortunately, the time limit expired and the match was ruled a draw.

RAVE (Kristian Frost and Zack Statick) became the new NECW Tag Team Champions in a huge upset win over Sabotage, with Mercedes Martinez in their corner.* Frost and Statick managed to keep Sabotage off balance with their teamwork, but the ruthless strategy of Edwards and Dillinger had begun to wear the challengers down.* All of a sudden the lights went out and Dan Freitas came running in through the front door with a steel chair.* Freitas cleaned house and managed to nail Edwards.* Zack Statick took advantage, coming off the top rope with a leg drop and getting a three count and the fall on Edwards.***

The rematch for the NECW Heavyweight Championship between "Revolution" Chris Venom and the "Powerhouse" Kevin Landry, with Alex Crowley in his corner, turned into an all out brawl.* Venom took the fight to the challenger, but the massive Landry gave it right back.* Landy and Venom each decked referees as the bout became uncontrollable.* Referee Rich Bass, who was the official of record, declared the match a double disqualification.* But after the match, Venom and Landry continued to try and get at each other.* Wrestlers and officials filled the ring, finally separating the two after repeated attempts by both men to continue the donnybrook.

Unknown to most, Tex Benedict also holds a Sports Science Diploma, Sports Psychology Diploma and various other coaching qualifications from his other sports teaching work, making him a very credible trainer, which will undoubtedly help his teaching at the RBW London Training Centre this week.

The sessions are at the normal times and the recently reduced prices. Full information can be found at http://www.rbwtraining.co.uk .

    Training Information

At Revolution British Wrestling we offer people the chance to train in a safe environment with expert training from fully insured professional wrestlers. The trainers include the likes of top technical wrestling star and former British Middleweight Champion Johnny Kidd, British Middleweight Champion “Misfit” Jorge Castano, arguably one of the best wrestlers in the country ‘Wildcat’ Robbie Brookside, former British Welterweight Champion Sammy Ray, American welterweight Tex Benedict and the rapidly rising Kid Regis.

Revolution British Wrestling in Exeter, Devon

    Live Wrestling Spectacular
    Friday 8th April 2005
    Topsham, Exeter, Devon

With live wrestling being somewhat of a rarity of South-West England, it brings Revolution British Wrestling great pleasure to be putting on our first event in this area on Friday 8th April in Topsham, Exeter, Devon.

RBW are usually located around the London area, with occasional events having taken place in recent years in the counties of Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire, Hertfordshire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire and others, yet as 2005 began we opened the RBW Exeter Training Centre, which has seen a large number of people begin their training in the hopes of becoming a professional wrestler in years to come. A small selection of those will be competing on this event in their debuts, which we hope will be impressive.

Alongside the new Exeter wrestlers are some of Britain's best including the always-controversial "Flying" Phil Powers, the former British Welterweight Champion and runner-up RBW Wrestler of the Year 2004 Sammy Ray, the arrogant American welterweight Tex Benedict and the current main trainer at the RBW Exeter Training Centre, the globetrotting international star, the UK Kid.

With the show one week away, we urge local wrestling fans and potential wrestling fans alike to come down to this event and see some of the highest quality British-style wrestling around and an entertaining evening out.

    The Card

    UK Kid vs Sammy Ray
    Singles Contest

Having now returned to Great Britain, the UK Kid has became a main trainer at the RBW Exeter Training Centre, helping a new generation of up and coming wrestlers into the sport.

In his first contest back for RBW, the UK Kid has been given a more-then-capable competitor in former British Welterweight Champion, Sammy Ray.

The runner-up RBW Wrestler of the Year 2004 has started off 2005 well, defeating the controversial "Flying" Phil Powers in recent competition, and looks keen to gain some Championship gold around his waist once again.

"Flying" Phil Powers vs To Be Confirmed
    Open Challenge/Singles Contest

The evening of Saturday 24th July 2004 will be forever remembered for the shocking events of a British Welterweight Championship contest between the reigning Champion, Sammy Ray and challenger, "The Gift" Ross Jordan in Chingford, London.

It took Powers almost eight months before facing Sammy Ray but when he did his temper was still there, and despite after loosing, he claimed that he'd never compete in RBW again, he has asked for another contest. RBW matchmakers have agreed to his request, making this contest an open challenge for any RBW wrestlers to step up and face Powers in a singles bout.

    Riccardo Young vs Dave Maverick
    Singles Contest

Having both been trained by the likes of Johnny Kidd, Jorge Castano, Robbie Brookside, Sammy Ray and others, at the RBW London Training Centre, these two young wrestlers are far from strangers.

Riccardo Young's career path has notably seen him in tag team competition with partner Bobby Hostile as the Project Future tag team in recent months, which has seen the two emerge as two of the most popular wrestlers in RBW, which is quite an achievement for the two new wrestlers.

For Dave Maverick, things have only just started to move. Having competed in several Battle Royals and some singles contests, Maverick has shown a great amount of promise, using his size advantage over most of his opponents.

Young and Maverick recently clashed in tag team action in Finchley, London, with the Project Future team narrowly overcoming Maverick and his partner "Sadistic" Jack Storm.

With Young looking to raise the singles ranks as well as the tag team ranks and Maverick hungry for revenge, this could prove to be an exciting contest between two wrestlers who could be Britain's best in years to come.

    Tex Benedict vs Jules Redman
    Singles Contest

For Tex Benedict, impressing is always on his mind, and despite loosing his first contest of 2005 against technical mastermind Johnny Kidd in the British Heavyweight Championship Tournament, he still managed to bounce back a week later to defeat the international star Neil Faith, despite having a huge disadvantage in size compared to Faith.

Benedict seems certain that Championship gold will be coming his way in 2005 some way or another, and with him being a strong contender in most weight divisions, it would seem that this is far from impossible.

It may seem like an easy night-off for Benedict, as he has been put against one of the most impressive young wrestlers to come out of the RBW Exeter Training Centre, Jules Redman. For Redman, it's anything but a night-off, with him anxiously wanting to prove himself in his first outing in a wrestling ring.

The local audience will almost undoubtedly be behind Redman in this bout, but will he be able to defeat the crafty American or will Benedict add another win to his record book?

    Battle Royal
    Elimination Contest

The evening is set to be rounded off with a Battle Royal elimination contest, with all of the wrestlers entering the ring at the start, with the winner being the last wrestler left in the ring.

This contest will feature all of the wrestlers from the evening's show, plus a number of young wrestlers that have graduated from our Exeter and London training centres.

    Show Update
    Live Wrestling Spectacular
    Friday 8th April 2005
    Topsham, Exeter, Devon

Just one day before RBW's event in Exeter, Devon, the first RBW one to take place in the area since the opening of our training centre here at the start of the year, a few changes have been made to the original line-up.

The open challenge made by the always-controversial "Flying" Phil Powers was met with a number of wrestlers asking to face him, the one that was chosen from the extensive list was Hampshire's Andy Boy Simmonz. Simmonz and Powers have wrestled numerous times previously, most recently in Hitchin, Hertfordshire which saw Powers walk away with the victory.

Unfortunately both Tex Benedict and Riccardo Young will no longer appear at this event in their scheduled matches against Jules Redman and Dave Maverick respectively. They have been replaced by Ireland's heavyweight Eamon O'Neil and the masked mystery grappler, Professor Ikeda.

Eamon O'Neil will now provide the opposition to the international star, the UK Kid in singles competition, which is sure to be a competitive encounter.

Sammy Ray, who was originally set to face the UK Kid, now meets Dave Maverick in a singles contest, which should prove interesting with the fact that Sammy Ray has played a huge part in the training of Dave Maverick, and is now set to face his student.

Set to compete in his first ever contest, Exeter-based Jules Redman now has an even tougher challenge in the form of the masked Professor Ikeda. Ikeda has recently been competing around the country, and has been revealed recently to be the next big star, guided by Lloyd Ryan, former manager of the legendary Kendo Nagasaki. With the odds stacked high against him, Jules Redman is said to be confident that he can make a good showing for himself, and training even harder in preparation for this bout.

The complete card for this show is now as follows:

"Flying" Phil Powers vs Andy Boy Simmonz
    Singles Contest

    UK Kid vs Eamon O'Neil
    Singles Contest

    Professor Ikeda vs Jules Redman
    Singles Contest

    Dave Maverick vs Sammy Ray
    Singles Contest

Live Wrestling In Chingford, London 23/04/05

    Saturday 23rd April 2005
    Ryan Hall, Chingford, London

Battle Of The Two Greatest Technical Wrestlers In British Wrestling

The Ryan Hall in Chingford, North-East London, has become practically the only venue in the North of London to see British wrestling on a regular basis, since the start of events there in March 2004. Now in April 2005, a total of five events have already taken place, with the sixth set to take place on Saturday 23rd April.

Past events in Chingford, London have been exciting times, with the likes of Johnny Kidd, "Wildcat" Robbie Brookside, "Wonderkid" Jonny Storm, "Misfit" Jorge Castano, Sammy Ray, "Flying" Phil Powers and plenty more, all proving the point that British wrestling is the best wrestling in the entire world.

This time round, the main event set for the show is perhaps one of the most significant bouts in RBW history, with the former British Middleweight Champion here in RBW and unarguably one of the country's top technical wrestlers, Johnny Kidd, meets one wrestler who is probably the only wrestler that Kidd can be compared with in the country, the decorated seven-time British Lightweight Champion, three-time European Lightweight Champion, former British Welterweight Champion (earlier version of the current one) and above all, the former World Lightweight Champion, London's very own Steve Grey.

The two are set to take place in what is likely to go down as being one of the top bouts to ever grace the RBW ring ever.

Also confirmed for the event is the international star, the UK Kid, who is one of the select few wrestlers who has managed to have a successful career both in Great Britain as well as abroad.

"Flying" Phil Powers vs Riccardo Young

Having just defeated Andy Boy Simmonz in Exeter, Devon, the always-controversial Phil Powers returns to Chingford for the first time since he aided "The Gift" Ross Jordan to defeat Sammy Ray for the British Welterweight Championship back in July last year.

Powers is looking to climb the ladder of success in RBW, with only one loss against him this far.

His opponent, Riccardo Young of Project Future, is undoubtedly considered an underdog in this, with Young taking on his most experienced opponent to date, since his recent contests with "Misfit" Jorge Castano. The Project Future tag team are making their mark on the British wrestling scene, and a win for Young would do wonders for the team's competitive reputation.

    Professor Ikeda vs Bobby Hostile

The masked mystery wrestler, Professor Ikeda is due to make his second RBW appearance, since making short work of Jules Redman in Exeter, Devon recently. Ikeda has recently been competing around the country, and has been revealed recently to be the next big masked star, guided by Lloyd Ryan, former manager of the legendary Kendo Nagasaki.

Similar to his Project Future tag team partner Riccardo Young, Bobby Hostile has a tough challenge on his hands, and with only quickness and agility on his side, it will be interesting to see if he can overcome Ikeda's slow and methodical style of wrestling.

The price may be small, but the action will be huge this Thursday night.

On one side, NECW Heavyweight Champion, "Revolution" Chris Venom, "Miracle" Mike Bennett and fan favorite, "Sweet" Scott Ashworth taking on "Powerhouse" Kevin Landry and former NECW Champions, Michael Sain and "The Golden Greek" Alex Arion, all managed by Alex Crowley.

Curry has taken "The Professional" to the limit more than once and this time the third generation star will be going all out to capture the gold.

In other bouts, after the events of this past Saturday night, "Brutal" Bob Evans squares off against "The Pinnacle" Paul Lombardi in an "I Quit" Match! The action continues until one man says "I Quit!" After the events of this past Saturday night, NECW President, Sheldon Goldberg has named "Crusher" Sonny Goodspeed as special guest referee.

PRIDE (Dan Freitas & Brian Nunes) will square off against Sabotage (D.C. Dillinger and Eddie Edwards) in a PRIDE Rules match, meaning a street fight! Come as you are and anything goes as PRIDE look to extract revenge from Dillinger and Edwards.

Many more stars will be appearing in Somerville and tickets for this event are available at the door. http://www.NECWwrestling.com

Venom Victorious; Evans Avoids Retirement as NECW's SPRING BREAKTHROUGH TOUR Begins!

"Revolution" Chris Venom is still the NECW Heavyweight Champion, retaining his title in dramatic fashion over the "Powerhouse" Kevin Landry to top off a fantastic night of NECW action in front of a rabid crowd at the Framingham Civic League.

In the opener, Afterburn (P.C. Cruise & Ray Diamond) and Pat Masters defeated the team of D-Unit (Doug Summers & Rocco Abruzzi) and Aaron Morrison when Masters pinned Rocco using the Masters Degree.

"Sweet" Scott Ashworth got the best of "The Egomaniac" Johnny Idol in a lumberjack match.* The crowd was wild for the "Sweet man."

In a great back and forth battle, RAVE (Zack Statick & Kristian Frost) retained the NECW Tag Team Championship defeating The Logan Brothers (Matt & Bryan).

"Brutal" Bob Evans squared off against "The Pinnacle" Paul Lombardi with the stipulation that if Evans lost, he had to retire.* The battle raged back and forth when Lombardi hit Evans with the loaded elbow and pinned the former champion with his feet on the ropes.* After the bell rang, wrestlers came to the ring along with NECW President, Sheldon Goldberg.* Goldberg said that while this was not the expected result, the production prepared a tribute and a special tribute video began to play.* Suddenly, the video was cut off and former New England star and NECW office staffer, "Crusher" Sonny Goodspeed came out to the ring.* He explained how Lombardi cheated, but Goldberg said he could not overrule the referee's decision.* Goodspeed then grabbed one of the camera crew at ringside and played back the video for referee Rich Bass.* Bass told Goldberg that he did see Lombardi cheat on the video and asked that the match me restarted.* Lombardi was incensed and came out and attacked Sonny Goodspeed.* Goodspeed went after Lombardi and finally got back into the ring, where Evans caught him and used the Ugly Stick to pin Lombardi, win the match and save his career.

From there, "El Boricua" Danny Diaz picked up an impressive victory over Bryce Andrews.

In a match to determine a new #1 contender, "The Golden Greek" Alex Arion, managed by Alex Crowley, defeated "Rocket" Fred Curry, Jr. in a close match.

In a PRIDE Rules Match, PRIDE (Dan Freitas & Brian Nunes) defeated Sabotage (D.C. Dillinger & Eddie Edwards) when Freitas pinned Dillinger in a bout that took place both backstage and in the ring.

Former NECW Heavyweight Champion, Michael Sain defeated "Miracle" Mike Bennett in a stretcher match when Bennett wouldn't stop fighting and they finally carried him out when Bob Evans threw in the towel.* Sain and Evans stood nose to nose in a post match confrontation.

In the main event, "Revolution" Chris Venom beat "Powerhouse" Kevin Landry in an anything goes match.* Alex Crowley was barred from ringside and stationed in the balcony surrounded by security.* The fight began upstairs and went through the entire building.* Landry tried to use the NECW Heavyweight Title Belt as a weapon, but Venom managed to get it back and pinned Landry after wrapping the belt around his elbow and hitting his trademark flying elbow off the top turnbuckle.

NECW returns to Framingham on Saturday night, May 14 with a special 7:30 bell time.

    British Heavyweight Championship Tournament Update

The British Heavyweight Championship Tournament continues this month, with the tournament narrowing down, closer to the point where a new Champion is crowned.

One change to the tournament is that "The Gift" Ross Jordan's place in the British Heavyweight Championship Tournament has been cancelled due to his recent departure after losing the British Welterweight Championship in February. His tournament place has been left open, meaning that a new qualifying contest will take place, replacing this.

The current line-up for the remaining qualifying contests is as follows:

Qualifier 3 - Sammy Ray vs UK Kid (Chingford, London 23/04/05)

    This Friday (6th May 2005)
    Horndean, Waterlooville, Hampshire

    Live All-Action British Wrestling

This Friday sees Revolution British Wrestling venture into Hampshire for the first time, for an evening of all-action, top quality British wrestling.

Set to take place in Waterlooville, the event stars a top line-up including Hampshire's very own UK Kid, the always controversial "Flying" Phil Powers, former British Welterweight Champion Sammy Ray, Gosport heavyweight Kris Kay and many others.

The event is the first to be filmed professionally for future DVD release, and also a kick-start to RBW's attempt to gain TV coverage for British wrestling. If you would like to see yourself on camera when the DVD is released, then this event will be worth attending.

Confirmed for the show are the following bouts:

UK Kid vs "Flying" Phil Powers

The self-proclaimed latest 'international superstar', UK Kid, has not proved to be very popular to wrestling audiences nationwide. Originally based in Fareham, Hampshire, the UK Kid is one of the select few wrestlers who has managed to have a successful career both in Great Britain as well as abroad.

Having now moved back to the UK, the UK Kid is on a one-man campaign to rise to the top.

Opposing UK Kid is one of Britain's best, yet controversial wrestlers, "Flying" Phil Powers.

The evening of Saturday 24th July 2004 will be forever remembered for the shocking events of a British Welterweight Championship contest between the reigning Champion, Sammy Ray and challenger, "The Gift" Ross Jordan in Chingford, London.

Since that memorable day, Powers has been on a role of success, defeating Andy Boy Simmonz on two occasions, despite falling to Sammy Ray back in March.

Power's valet Erin Angel will also be at ringside during this contest, will she play a part in the outcome of this bout?

With both wrestlers never too popular with the audience, it is suspected that the local audience will be in favour of their local star, the UK Kid, which will be an unusual factor in this contest.

    Kris Kay vs Sammy Ray

Gosport-based heavyweight Kris Kay returns to action, following a lengthy absence from the RBW ring. Kay was last seen in February 2004 in two contests, firstly defeating UK Kid but then on the loosing end to Johnny Kidd a week later. The tough Kay is determined to make a strong impression this time round as he goes up against Sammy Ray.

Ray, the former British Welterweight Champion, is one of the most popular RBW wrestlers. Recent action has seen him defeat the likes of "Flying" Phil Powers, UK Kid, Dave Maverick and other wrestlers, with it looking likely that Ray's peak form will continue for the foreseeable future.

This catchweight clash is intriguing with a clear size difference between the two. Will Kay's power and strength overcome Ray's speed and technical ability?

Andy Boy Simmonz vs Eamon O'Neil

Two of the country's brightest prospects again lock up in another singles catchweight contest.

Andy Boy Simmonz and Eamon O'Neil are no strangers to each other. In January, the two competed in a singles bout in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire which saw an excellent, competitive clash.

Known for tagging together as well, as the "Irish Connection" team, the two are on good terms, and are sure to accept that the best man will walk away as winner during this contest.

Chris Andrews vs El Diablo Loco

Chris Andrews, one of the RBW Exeter Training Centre's most promising young wrestlers, makes his singles debut in this contest.

Andrews has only competed once prior to this bout, in a Battle Royal at the RBW event in Exeter, Devon, at the start of April.

The opponent for Andrews has been revealed as El Diablo Loco. Unfortunately not much is known about this wrestler, and with the recent entry of Professor Ikeda into competitive action, could this be a sign of things to come as far as masked wrestlers go?

With El Diablo Loco providing an element of uncertainty, it will make things very tough for Chris Andrews, but can his training give him the tools to overcome this challenge?

    Battle Royal

At the end of the evening, all wrestlers will return to the ring for an over-the-top rope Battle Royal.

Known for their unpredictability, it will be every man or woman for themselves, with the winner being the last person to remain in the ring.

Joining the contest will be several more of the RBW Exeter Training Centre's young wrestlers who will be looking to impress.

    Live Wrestling In Newmarket, Cambridgeshire

Live Wrestling In Newmarket, Cambridgeshire 28/05/05

A live wrestling spectacular rolls into Newmarket, Cambridgeshire on Saturday 28th May, presented by Revolution British Wrestling, visiting the town for the first time.

The event promises some quality action, with some of the country's best competing in the ring, including Luton's champion technical wrestler and former World of Sport ITV television wrestler, Johnny Kidd, the always-controversial "Flying" Phil Powers, former British Welterweight Champion Sammy Ray and many others.

Taking part in his first ever contest will be "The Made Man" Tino Caesar, originally from the USA, but now living in Newmarket itself. Caesar has trained extensively at the RBW London Training Centre and has developed into one of the most exciting prospects for the future.

Tickets for the event are on sale now, and we hope to see you at the show!

    The Line-Up So Far

"Sadistic" Jack Storm and "The Bulldozer" Carl Clinton vs Morales and Saul Adams
    Tag Team Contest

The impressive "Sadistic" Jack Storm returns to the ring once again in tag team action. Despite unsuccessful in his last tag team effort alongside Dave Maverick, he has vowed to try again, this time teaming with Maverick's partner, "The Bulldozer" Carl Clinton. Clinton is another wrestler who has trained extensively at the RBW London Training Centre, and looks to have an impressive future in front of him.

Not having much luck recently, the Midlands duo of Morales and Saul Adams are looking to change their ways. Recent losses to J.C Thunder and "Sensation of the Nation" Rob Hunter respectively have not helped them, yet gave them the determination to improve things this time round.

In the experience factor, the team of Storm and Clinton have no experience as a team, where as Morales and Adams know each other well, which gives them the edge going into this tag team battle.

Sammy Ray vs "The Made Man" Tino Caesar
    Singles Contest

The career of the former British Welterweight Champion and number 1 ranked RBW wrestler, Sammy Ray, seems to be on the climb, picking up some impressive victories this year. The Chelsea-based wrestler is looking to climb the ladder of success once again in the Championship ranks, and is hoping to gain another shot at the British Welterweight Championship soon.

Making his debut in the opposite corner is "The Made Man" Tino Caesar, who is originally from the USA, but is now living in Newmarket itself. Caesar has trained extensively at the RBW London Training Centre and has developed into one of the most exciting prospects for the future.

With experience clearly on the side of Ray in this contest, it shouldn't be forgotten that Caesar has a strong background in amateur (Olympic) wrestling overseas, similar to what Ray has over here, which provides an interesting similarity in their backgrounds, but one that is unpredictable in every way.

RBW Wrestling Training This Sunday In Enfield, London/Middlesex
    With "Misfit" Jorge Castano!

This Sunday sees the return of the current British Middleweight Champion, "Misfit" Jorge Castano as the trainer, at our Enfield-based training centre.

"Misfit" Jorge Castano is one of the most underrated wrestlers in the country. Castano captured British Middleweight Championship gold last year from Johnny Kidd, and has since held onto it with a firm grip, defeating all challengers including "Wonderkid" Jonny Storm, Kid Regis, Project Future and many others. It was even Castano, who ended "Anarchist" Doug Williams' entrance into RBW, eliminating him from the British Heavyweight Championship Tournament.

The sessions are at the normal times and the normal prices.

Full information can be found at http://www.rbwtraining.co.uk .

    Training Information

At Revolution British Wrestling we offer people the chance to train in a safe environment with expert training from fully insured British wrestlers. The trainers include the likes of top technical wrestling star and former British Middleweight Champion Johnny Kidd, current British Middleweight Champion “Misfit” Jorge Castano, arguably one of the best wrestlers in the country ‘Wildcat’ Robbie Brookside, former British Welterweight Champion Sammy Ray, top middleweight star Andy Boy Simmonz and American welterweight Tex Benedict.

This costs £8.00 if you are aged 16 or over and £5.00 if you are between 8 and 15 inclusive, and covers you for a whole year.

We have two sessions on a Sunday, those being the regular session and the advanced session. We advise people who have not trained before or have not been training for a long time to come to the regular session where you can learn the basics of wrestling. People who have been training before and feel that they are ready to move on to more advanced learning can attend the second, more advanced session. You are welcome to attend both sessions if you wish which will provide you with more training and the trainers may also advise people when they are ready to move on and push themselves that little bit harder!

The cost of both sessions is £6.00 each for adults and £5.00 for children per session. For adults, if you do both sessions there is a discount of £2.00, costing a total of £10.00. The regular session begins at 11am and lasts until 1pm. Then the advanced session starts promptly and goes on until 3pm.

If training goes successful for you there is the possibility of being booked on Revolution British Wrestling shows all around the country. Currently the Project Future tag team of Riccardo Young and Bobby Hostile are making waves in British wrestling, as are Dave Maverick, "The Bulldozer" Carl Clinton and "The Made Man" Tino Caesar and many other trainees at the RBW London Training Centre have also appeared on events. Many opportunities are given to trainees as long as we believe they are ready to perform and be professional in their conduct.
