I thought maybe it’s because I don’t have cable, but I haven’t really seen too much hype coming out of the England side. I think English fans were obviously hopeful, but knew they were never beating this Spanish team.
even online, I haven’t see much of the usual “FOOTBALL IS COMING HOME” rhetoric. Most english fans I saw were like “hey, it’ll be nice if we win”.
Maybe realised it’s a pointless exercise lol.

3 years late, for me, but a class act and I wish him well.
If he goes back to club management, his level was always Championship and I doubt that will have changed at all.
