Strictly speaking no though it does have the match make-up of a typical PLE. Probably personally equate it more to like an NXT like Deadline was but if Jarrod counts it, then I guess it counts.

Separate NXT.....I was gonna say let's add NXT into the mix next year, maybe even run a separate AEW competition
Not everybody watches NXT to begin with. Telling them they must be forced watch another 2 hours of wrestling programming per week just to participate in a WWE pool ain’t cool.
The commitment just to watch Smackdown and RAW as is 4 hours, down very recently from 5 ‘hpw’ and likely to jump to 6 hours come January.
That’s a lot of time.
And you want to add in 2 hours for an unfamiliar NXT program for those Who don’t watch...
Not to mention another minimum 2 hours investment in the completely unwatchable AEW (trust me, I watched Dynamite and even Rampage every week for the first 3.5 years until Vanilla Midget Adam Cole drove me away...)
But while I was watching AEW, I posted on the AEW thread that ‘we’ should start a prognosticators pool, as 3-4 folks were up there babbling off about how much they knew about Who was going to win this match, do this angle, blah, blah, blah..
okay, guys, let’s put up or shut up.....(friendlier terms of course)
what’s that? Dead silence....nothing but the chirping of online crickets as not one person was interested in an AEW pickin’pool.
I just came across this beauty which confirms there was a NO contingency in place in advance the year we finished tied for first, therefore backing up my claim to be co-champion with Jarrod1983.
being named Universal Champion (or World Champion) to his WWE Champion as I claimed, as opposed to my being unceremoniously demoted to Intercontinental Champion was/is the only way justice will be served, especially as it was done arbitrarily at the hands of the Commissioner, Jarrod1983 himself, it certainly reeks of conspiracy.......

In the spirit of pro wrasslin, the commish calls the shots and a tie is lame. We don't play all year to tie. Bluegunn beat you in a per show basis, which was a fair way to judge. Totally called on the fly in the ring though! It's all good though, seems like your on track for a W if things go your way!

Well, rasslin’ is built on controversy and I’m not the first heel with a legit gripe to claim the belt.....
Besides, the Fed you are basing the scoring on had/has 2 ‘world’ champions (despite the obvious contrary fact of there being only one world we live on lol)
Anyhow, all futile (but well developed) arguments aside, point is well taken:
Best answer for me is to stfu and win this Year and then claim I’m a two time champion.
Once again, I saw the show and didn't think I did all that badly with my predictions. I forgot to use the match doubler, though.
