Intro: Jovvi used to be a Wood-Warder of his people. This entails him to never live in the settlements and protect them from invaders. Tha Rava Viera live in the Golmore Jungle so he is adept at surviving and hunting any intruders in dense jungles. Viera are known to live 12 score or more years. Most Viera die in the Wood Warder training and after completing it you are on your own from then on until you train newly adulthood males. A male Rava will need to get everything by themselves. This includes food, clothes, and weapons.

Broadway is a major thoroughfare in the downtown area in Nashville, Tennessee. It includes Lower Broadway, an entertainment district renowned for honky tonks and live country music.
The street is also home to retail shops, restaurants, dessert spots, tourist attractions, and a few hotels.

It's time to separate the Fact....from the FICTION.
Ezio suddenly found himself in a place somehow familiar, yet totally alien. “Was this the civilisation Minerva spoke of in the Vatican temple?” he asked himself, quickly taking in his surroundings.
A smile played upon his lips. “I could have some fun here”
Drawing upon his training, Ezio blended into the crowds of pedestrians on the pavement and wandered a little down the street, figuring out how to get to the other side. He understood that the strange metal contraptions people used instead of horses would periodically stop and that would give those on foot the chance to cross. While crossing, he listened to the voices around him and although they weren't speaking Italian or Latin, he was worldly enough to recognise a strange, mangled form of English, a language he had a passing acquaintance with.
Arriving outside the cathedral-sized building we know as the Bridgestone Arena, Ezio quickly ducked into a side alley and pondered the strange metal tower he was at the base of.
Praying that his agility hadn't been left behind in the 1500's, Ezio quickly scaled the tower halfway, where unseen by the crowds below, he could take stock. The Sword of Altair hung at his hip opposite his Dagger of Brutus. His smoke bombs and throwing knives were present, as was the crossbow on his back, and a supply of parachutes. On his arms were the enhanced bracers with the Assassins' signature weapons, the hidden blades, along with the poison dart launcher and wheelock pistol. Finally, in a pouch at his waist was his Apple of Eden, although he hoped he wouldn't have to use it.
Climbing further, he was able to reach a point where he was able to synchronise and gain further information about his new playground.
The sun was now getting low in the sky and Ezio started feeling uneasy. Why had he been brought here in particular, and for what purpose? Some Templar plot? He activated his Eagle vision and started scanning the crowds below hoping for a lead.
Jovvi appeared in this new weird spot and was again confused. He thought he would be going back to Eorzea but instead appeared in this location.
He looked around and noticed many Hyur about, so maybe this was somewhere within Eorzea? He tried to summon his Chocobo but it did not work so clearly this was not Eorzea. Jovvi fears he got summoned here for the same reason as before, but he is hopeful that this place seems peaceful, and nothing will happen.
To be on the safe side though Jovvi equips his Warrior soul crystal to become a walking fortress and starts looking around. He tries to stay inconspicuous, but it proves difficult, and he stays in a nearby building. Hopefully, by staying here he can plan his next move and keep away from the people all over the place. He REALLY needs to get back to Eorzea. With this much anger inside him at this point he will be a very fearsome Warrior.
You were prepared to fight a crow but found yourself facing an eagle...
On the face of it, becoming a walking fortress was a sensible precaution. Do you know who else could have been described as such? All armour has joints and weak spots, and Ezio offed countless of these elite mooks while stopping the threat of Rodrigo and Cesare Borgia
Being inside a building was also a wise move, except that if the Eagle sense has identified you as a target, walls pose no visual barrier. So Jovvi is pinned down, in a defensive mode, while Ezio knows exactly where he is.
All he needs is an alternative form of ingress and he will have a dozen ways of bringing Jovvi to his knees, whether it be through stealth (hidden blade from a blind corner) surprise (smoke bomb combined with throwing knives) straight up duelling (counter kills to the max), or entering God mode and bringing out the Apple to melt his mind. If Vieria are sensitive to mist concentrations, it's not unreasonable that the workings of the Apple would bring out their aggressive, reckless (and therefore vunerable) sides.
Who said I’m considered a walking fortress because of my armor? As you can see my armor isn’t as bulky as you are used to. My fortress term comes because of my ability to sustain myself while taking the hits for my allies. I keep the danger attacking me so they can defeat them.

You say I’m stuck in a defensive position. Sadly for you being in a defensive position helps me. I’m forcing you to come to me to combat me.
To get me from stealth you would need to be able to get an angle on me, that could be difficult if I stay in the building and keep possible entries watched. Caught by surprise and put in a smoke bomb? Who cares, I can use Overpower, Mythril Tempest, or even Decimate once I use Infuriate. Those would let me attack anything around me. You want to duel me? That is a death sentence for you. The Warriors of eld were always on the frontlines of wars. You say your Apple would even affect me. Currently it’s only been shown to work on humans, which I am clearly not. If for some reason it did even work on me you say it would bring out my aggressive side. Why would you want to do that? Us Warriors thrive on our anger, we literally go Berserk to deliver our strongest attacks of Chaotic Cyclone, Inner Chaos, and Primal Rend.
If your main tactic is imitating a turtle it's a sad state of affairs. So you become a tank and let Ezio come to you. The issue you've ignored is the environment. We're in the middle of Nashville, music city. The constant traffic and noise are going to play havok with your sensitive Vieira hearing. We're not in the Golmore jungle any more.
Maybe Ezio, with his Eagle Vision giving him limited pre-cognition, is better to sit and wait out of sight across the street, and when the window of opportunity opens, send a pistol shot or crossbow bolt sailing through the literal window into his opponent. It doesn't need to kill, or even to wound. But it will force Jovvi to act.
You see, Ezio may be a man out of time, but Jovvi is out of space. Ezio has always been able to use the crowded streets to his advantage. Although tossing coins into the street has always been effective, a couple of broken windows, several gunshots heard courtesy of the hidden pistol, & a savage warrior loose on the streets is going to result in pandemonium. A crowd with greater personal access to firearms than 16th century Italy (thank the gun laws in Tennessee for that) will have their fight or flight response triggered, and either way, Jovvi's cover is blown. First the police, then the national guard, then...?
In any case, the last words Jovvi will hear, for the sake of his soul, will be “Requiescat in pace”.
Who said anything about just being a turtle? If it wasn’t clear to you yet I can rejuvenate myself from almost everything you could do to me. I am the fortress because I will do the damage and keep myself alive doing so. I have my Nascent Flash, my Shake It Off, my Equilibrium, the Thrill of Battle, my Vengeance, and my Storm’s Path combo. All of those will easily keep me alive in our battle. You say my hearing would be my downfall? Sorry but after leaving my jungle I stayed in Limsa Lominsa for a long while; a marine city-state of Eorzea and one known for its pirates. This is nothing for me.
You want to send a shot out towards me? Go ahead. Even if it did manage to hit me, like I said I could easily make it matter little. But what’s this? With my hearing I also would be able to determine a general area from where it came from. You just signed a death warrant doing that.
You also claim that single shot could cause mass panic? Did you forget this is taking place in America, a place rife with guns where many people aren’t even worried now. To them it’s daily life. Even with this being in Nashville the most that people would do is call the cops. But what else would happen? They’d more than likely know the general area it came from, and the police could easily go there.
Even if I’m caught by the police, you forget something about me, I’m the Warrior of Light. I have brought together countless races of Eorzea for the greater good and I could do it again. Besides, I don’t even have a firearm on me. The police would have nothing to fear from me. But you? When I find you, you will get to see the lovely Holmgang (which will keep you in place with chains and prevent my death for a few seconds) and Fell Cleaves I can do.
Both fighters brought it, and I went back and forth on this.
Unfortunately, Dreyski pulling the gun might have been his downfall. Listo jumped on it hard and it won him the fight.
I just can't see Ezio winning after giving away his position.

This battle is interesting to me, as at the crux of it, it seems to be Listo defending himself against claims against points Dreyski made. His two response posts start with “who said …”. Even with that, I thought his defense was more than adequate. And it was a good defense at what I thought was a good offensive battle from Dreyski. He highlighted many of Ezio’s best offenses, and Listo had solid points to defend himself and counterpoint.
But Listo lost me towards the end of his last post. The whole gun thing in America. I don’t know if this was what he meant to imply, but the way he described it read to me as if, Ezio shot a gun, and cuz it’s Nashville and America, ppl would just be like, “oh, i think the shot came from there, hey bartender, could we get another round of Coors over here”. I understand that probably wasn’t the intention, but it did take me completely out of the argument. And that’s unfortunate, but in a battle where both did an admirable job in their roles, getting taken out of the argument like that sometimes is enough. This time it was.
My vote goes to Ezio Auditore.

Drey (Ezio) vs Listo (Jovvi)
Nice way to bring the environment into play, by using it as a perch and use of eagle vision by Drey.
Listo did a decent job deflecting most of what Drey was saying, he never really pressed the attack or came out of hiding. While I feel Jovvi would have an easier time defeating Ezio, Listo didnt bring the fight. Said he would sit back and could heal himself. Then his hearing would point the direction/general area for the cops.
**Drey ** wins this for me, solely by willing to be the aggressor and using his environment and tactics.
