ROYAL RUMBLE 2023 (+GAME OF DEATH)

Starting it nice and early this year so we can hopefully fill this out in good time.

For those that are newer, basically there are 30 Rumble spots available if you sign up. As Men and Women’s rumbles, the 30 spots count for both. Numbers randomly drawn at the time when sign-ups done (or if we can’t get 30, somebody might get lucky and get more than one). Whoever’s numbers win the Rumble (s) gets to change the name and avatar of one of the other participants so two winners or one if someone is lucky enough to win both Rumbles then they can change two. Keep the name changes within reason please.

I’ll bump this at regular intervals too to get sign-ups.

To make this easier on myself, I have decided that if I am given position x, I will change the name of whoever has position x+1, but if x=30, then whoever has position 1 will be targetted. I am announcing this now, before the positions are picked, so as to avoid potential conflict by someone in position x+1, wondering why I didn't choose x-1. And in the unlikely event I win, I will open it up to PM suggestions.

My lovely bride wants me to change my username soon to 4puppies. Not sure how serious she is, because she just lost a really good friend of hers/ours who passed suddenly after a stroke. We've been doing a lot of crying, to the extent that our furries have been providing comfort. So she figures another pup would help fill the void.

For anyone not happy with their numbers, mine aren't that great either (13 and 7) although it depends how they book these Rumbles really. Either a marathon run/win or a late number winner (though they have been leaning onto late number winners recently IIRC).

For anyone that's signed up but doesn't really follow wrestling these days, don't worry about watching. I'll let you know if you win.

Also for anyone that wins but can't decide whose name/avatar they want to change, just let me know and I'll draw from one of the other losers at random (myself included) and pick the stuff for you.

In the Elimination Chamber, the victor wins by outlasting all the other opponents, who get each eliminated by pinfall or submission, all while in the cage. I wonder if Roman somehow get himself DQ'd by escaping the cage, moments before Owens pins someone like Ricochet or Zayn. Adam Pearce determines that Owens deserves a win, but Roman shouldn't lose because he was DQ'd, so Roman keeps one of his belts.
