2022 Year in Review

I've been thinking about doing a Year in Review/Best of the Year in wrestling kinda deal. Would there be any interest in that?

Absolutely! This year has has been one for the book, not doubt.

Okay here is what I was thinking

Story of the Year

This is the one that got me most interested in a look back since Stone Cold Steve Austin came out of retirement after 20 years to main event Wrestlemania and it's like at best the third biggest story of the year.

Wrestler of the Year

I am not sure if we'd want to divide this up like the Observer does where there is like Wrestling MVP and Worker of the Year or just do one thing.

Show of the Year

Match of the Year


Any other categories anyone wants to throw out there?

Best on the mic?

Best use of a Celebrity (I'd have to give this thought because while Logan Paul stepped up big time, Pat McAfee at Mania was magic. Sorry Johnny Knoxville)

Categories for best worker, and best overall performer should be different, and should vary for male vs. female.

Best Heel (male/female)

Best Face

Wrestler we'd most like to see go away.
