Agree with TraXX being a red herring, although in the first game, the book 'created' characters that had killed the players in previous games (mine was from Punch-Out mafia). I'll have to check back on the first game to see if that was actually the case.

I was mistaken - Skeletor hid all cop investigations until he died, not all alignments. And it appears the book could create any character from a previous mafia game in the first game. At least we know the book is a character this time round
