It’s been quite the day at work and damn. This is not a lot of time to make a decision.
Psycho just to quickly answer you quoting me earlier. Yeah I even knew as I was typing that wasn’t a good look for me. But I wasn’t going to be starting a new train without any info on my own. Especially at that point so I either could have just said nothing or at least shown my reluctant acceptance.
As for where we are now if I’m just going off those who voted Drey I typically tend towards the first half of the votes especially when a run away occurs making the second half of votes basically pointless.
I’m leaning Jarrod. Just for being the switch. But let me go see his reasoning for switching.

Well, that's unfortunate. I'm assuming he didn't have a check on 3pups or else he probably would have pushed it harder, but him flipping green when 3pups was the other main wagon in contention isn't a great look for him.
I liked Morrison going for the PG vote and trying to get something else going rather than falling in line with Dreyski.
Late Dreyski votes are sus, but I do like that Tommi at least had a reason and stuck around for back and forth.
Just saying though, this is why I wanted a legit counter wagon, not just one pile-up
Also, I think voting after the cop flipped is a bad idea when it happened this close to EOD. It's an easy spot for scum to take advantage of an unexpected event. 3pups and Pablo hopping right into voting despite that irks me

I'm actually good with both 3pups and Rip, but at this rate, we might see a lynch go over with one or two votes, and I think the smarter thing is to look into them overnight and/or voting them the next phase. If Dreyski had been modkilled halfway through the phase, that would be one thing, but this was within 4 hours of the deadline
there's less than 40 minutes left. the only other people who had more than 1 vote on them after dreyski was 3pups and pg. given the vote reset, and the short turnaround, i don't feel comfortable getting 3pups and rip both strung up cause they tied at 1 vote a piece. we already almost mislynched our cop, the modkill saving that mistake from being on the record. im not willing to chance losing two more from a pittance of engagement and be ass out even more.

I am town and didn't want to be the only one with a vote. I hadn't thought about no lynch as an option mid-game - I thought that was only something done on day 1.
Still iffy on Jarrod even though I liked some of our interaction. I kinda liked Listo's vibe and felt like he just happened to be around and was trying to contribute rather than him popping in to pile on. I still think Claws looks towny from the Jitters progression and just his general posting. So if we're looking at anyone on the Dreyski wagon, I'm looking at Jarrod, Rip, WhoAmI, and Tommi. Probably roughly in that order.
Reading Blind and and Morrison's posts made me more convinced PG could be a hit and I wish I had switched, but I'm not sure that really would have done much.
Usually yes, but it's a good reservation for city circumstances like this or when you're down to the wire and want to give one more day of info before you have to lynch or lose.

Mine's been pretty solid. Got to work my gig as door staff where I got free food and drinks on top of good pay for 2 hours of work, and then went to a bonfire last night and ate way too many s'mores and roasted marshmallows with people I love. Today I'm chilling with the girlfriend and getting ready for the AEW ppv tonight.

Another holiday weekend with no family. Cleaning my grill to cook a lonely hamburger and have been drinking Capt and Cokes like water. Just feels weird to not have a bunch of people here to cook for.

He flipped randomly past a commercial where an animated Bruce Lee was locked in mortal combat with Bugs Bunny over who would get the Pantene Shampoo. It turned out the Lone Ranger ran off with it. He flipped again. Another commercial for “The Mike Tyson Mysteries”. Apparently Salma Hayek, Anne Hathaway, and the Cast of Saved by the Bell would make a guest appearance.
“Breaks Suck!”
A baritone voice chimed in.
“Actually Peter these small breaks can provide is with an excellent opportunity to re-center. This show has you very wound up, and a break allows you to refocus and decompress, without distancing yourself entirely. With a break you know it will end, so you can allow a pause without the fear of things being over forever. You keep your commitment to the show, while still having a pause from ongoing pressure”.
“Wow! Thanks, Dr. Frasier Crane”
A nasally voice chimed in.
“Ehhhh. I disagree. A break means you can do whatever you want with no consequences”. Then Ross Gellar kicked the TV and broke it.
Peter and Frasier glared at Ross as Peter pulled up the show on his phone.

Back on the show, the armies of Destro continued to drill into the Artic circle. They were empowered by their recent success. And Wil Wheaton stood ready to corrupt the entire planet.
Badger felt a goodness growing inside of him. Leaping to the air, he felt the powers of Captain Planet. “I need to help these Planeteers”. Looking at CWE, he said “Buddy, let’s make sure nobody can slow you down”. At the end of the night Badger landed, the power of good returning to it’s source.
Leslie Knopf was distraught over the loss of Wayne. Without him, there was nobody representing the Canadian Agricultural Community in the fight for the very soul of the planet. But Leslie’s heart was pure, and she knew that she need to use the power of Heart to fight for Good. Yelling “HEART” she imbued Tommi with a portion of this power.
Danny Phantom had advanced further into Destro’s Artic base, but he knew that his ghostly powers would be best used to night to preserve him, so he could infiltrate further into Destro’s army in the morning. After a bit of confusion, he found himself taking shelter behind Morrison.
Jackie Daytona, regular human bartender, was taking this all in from his bar. “If I learned anything from the Bolsheviks, it’s that when a metal headed man is in freezing temps, he gets terrible headaches. And a cranky metal-headed man is just not cricket, thank you very much”. And with that, the regular human bartender turned into a bat and disappeared into the night sky.
MechaNeck was going to prove that he was more valuable to the All-Stars than he had ever been to the Masters. He stretched his neck to the limit, and kept a watch over the terrain surrounding Psycho666Soldier.
Norm and Cliff were WAY WAY FUCCKKING-WICKED PLASTERED. How do we know? Because they tried to steal Caito's voting ID and stuff it. But when they attempted it they realized he was dead. And then they realized they were in a cemetery. Just a couple of dirty attempted grave-robbers.
Roadblock was fully engaged in the battle. He sought out Morrison “whether you’re friend or whether you’re foe. Into this battle, you won’t go. Destro might control the snow, but he can’t stop this GI Joe”
Gargamel decided that Badger needed a little bit of some bad medicine. Yes, that bad medicine was what he needed. He left a vial near Badger’s Haggis. Unfortunately for Gargamel, it was Badger as Capt Planet who found the meal. “This haggis is delicious….and it will take more than some bad apple juice to slow me down”
The battle was a stalemate for this night. But it couldn’t stay that way forever. Wheaton looked into the pit evilly. He and Destro just needed time.

My mind is looking in PG, 3pups, and Rip right now. I think it's weird that PG didn't get any votes really despite being a fairly easy target, and their participation definitely felt like they were more focused on saving face than actually participating.
Rip feels like he's been floating a bit and sort of picking his spots. I know he's busy and I've misread him for similar behavior recently, so I don't want to fall in the trap of just assuming Rip is scum because I can usually catch it. But he has one of the worst votes on Dreyski.
3puppies really only has big thoughtful posts to back them up, and I'm still wary about them immediately jumping to vote Rip after Dreyski's flip. Not to mention his progression on the Jitters wagon was kinda garbage.
I'm also not a fan of Pablo's vote, especially when he's normally more cautious and already had the weird pile-on the precious phase. Too many coincidences for my tastes, and I'm actually thinking about changing my vote.
@Loaf I'm sorry you have felt like crap. I don't want to keep ragging on you for being underwhelming, but if you could give us something more to work with, it'll at least help me a lot

I actually felt ok with my vote on Dreyski, people I had a leaning trust on were on this train, Listo an Badger. At the time the only other train was 3pups and I was convinced I'd read 3pups correctly at the time. Clawsout vote on him felt like tit for tat (omgus) on each other, town arguing town. Dreyski's vote felt opportunistic because I couldn't see his reasoning and I looked. Which is why I addressed Dreyski with examples of my thoughts. To get him to engage in discussion and to give me a reason to switch votes. He didn't even respond to me. And when Clawsout switched his vote that just settled it for me. I was ok to be on this train.
What is really annoying is that I would have switched to either PG or loaf.

My concern with trying to get someone down is BECAUSE of the late hour. I didn't think we'd get many people in to go through with a confident No Lynch (obviously I was wrong with that and had already gone to sleep by the time it was clear that enough people were about). But I was worried that it would get railroaded onto someone and in that case I'd rather have gone for someone who has been suspicious already AND that our just killed cop had gone for.

That said, can you talk me through why you think PG though? Is it because he had a vote on Badger who is at the very least not red if we don't want to go so far as to say town?
There’s very little info floating about considering the time we’ve had, I’m also somewhat confused by the write ups, there’s bits that don’t quite hang right with me somehow, like there’s bits either missing or we’re being fed, now I’ll admit that could be paranoia after the focus groups impact in previous games, but it’s something that I feel we need to be aware of.
Still not comfortable with ME as the whole thing just feels so ‘non town’ PG bothers me and there’s others feeling the same so let’s apply some pressure and see what happens

I had read this as the kill attempt that was thwarted because of the Captain Planet power somehow. But I suppose Gargamel looks like they could just have posting modifiers.
Also a kill attempt could have happened behind the scenes. Which is super annoying because we can't make all the connections we'd like (which I suppose is Mazer's goal to fight against the spreadsheeters).

PG bothers me, nothing particularly specific but that’s how o lay, don’t do sheets or specifics I go off instinct and gut, when others confirm or seem to support my thoughts then I act on them accordingly.
I don’t ‘coast’ I’m generally ridiculously busy and with my medical conditions I tend to be a somewhat scattergun poster, if I’m not great it’ll be in and out, if the heads ok then I’ll hang about and engage more.
ME really doesn’t feel town to me but that doesn’t necessarily mean he feels scum, he’s just ‘off’ I’m more than happy to go either way as the group decides but they’re my 1-2

Focus groups can be very, very dangerous. It’s a hugely powerful role and depending on who has it they can cause unfathomable levels of chaos and destruction, particularly when you take into account they’re generally neutral with their own win conditions and goals.
Rip, what you have just said is one of the scummiest things I have ever read. At no point in your response were you even close to anything that could be considered a towny thought. Everyone in this room is now scummier for having read it.

A Focus Group is a neutral role, and a massively powerful one, a neutral role has a win condition that is just that, neutral, and it is therefore basically down to the players whom which way they play it.
Now a dull neutral player will generally drift along vaguely town biased unless scum gain an upper hand in which case they’ll flip and become dangerous to town.
A more ‘interesting’ neutral player will simply play the game as the mood takes them, which makes them a danger to town.
A really good neutral player will challenge themselves, and probably play as an almost pro-scum player, pushing themselves to a more difficult route, therefore a danger to town.
Personally, as a neutral I tend to try and set fire to the world just to watch it burn, generally a danger to town.
I’d argue all neutrals are therefore a danger to town, I’d argue any good or experienced player would see it the same way, if you find it scummy to be wary of threats to town I find myself concerned about your alignment.
If you are truly arguing a neutral focus group is no danger to town then you’re either drinking, or our Focus Group.

We survived the night without losing anyone. Awesome. Not sure how we pulled that off but good for town. This focus group role is giving me headaches. On top of my headaches working on my basement clean out. Hence why I haven't been around as much as I would like. Still not sure how I feel about WhoAmI. Also trying to still get a read on other players. Still at a disadvantage of being a newbie and not knowing how all of you play. So not sure quite where to go. I am still worried about being snowed by 3pups like last game and I am going to go with that for now unless I decide something different while reading things over again.
