And even if they're not actual characters, they could be fake representatives to show us how many people didn't show up? I dunno, Griffin is a viewer watching the game clearly, so I think that's the connection.
And seemingly Mikey died without the action being shown, so writeup info is definitely being withheld somehow

As for my switch from MTR onto Vegas, I thought I was pretty clear that I didn't like how quickly the train built up, and I was thinking that if MTR was scum, I was scared to lead a winning train on day one based on what happened to me the last game.
Additionally, I went back into discord from a prior game to look for a link about prior game roles. I happened to see that Psycho, BlindNinja, Tommi and MTR were online in discord, along with Loaf, but it said that Loaf was playing a game (as he did a lot while he was in the last game). Since I don't use discord that much, and only for mafia, it certainly made me wonder why those 4 were also showing up online. Of course, It doesn't necessarily show me what channels they were on, but since we don't really have much else to go on, I thought, well perhaps they were online discussing scum strategy. So I think they all deserve attention.
Morrison, Jarrod, and Badger have not been showing up much on discord, so I trust them, at least for the time being. Mazer, of course, is the other name that shows up as active on discord, but that makes sense as he is running the game.
Psycho seems to be wondering about me, repeatedly bringing my name up, but the only thing I know for certain is that I am green. My gut tells me he is red, trying to draw attention to everyone else.
BlindNinja seemed, IMHO, to push CWE a bit hard as being responsible for killing Caito. Scum will try to get attention on everyone but their own.
Tommi and MTR are still relative newbies here, like me, so I think it is possible that they were looking at prior games as well as I was, but that tiny shade of doubt about MTR was why I changed to Vegas.
I feel good about giving Vegas immunity so far.
Based off the responses from others I think I'm leaning towards the people named by Peter Griffin (the character) not as a roleblock but as hidden roles because as someone said, Mikey died without a write-up.

I was intrigued because I seen your concern, Randolph and Kdestiny voted close together. Pablo didn't vote till much later. You stated at the time that it wasn't anything to do with MTR so when did you start thinking he was scum?
My concern was that you avoided CWE, Badger too but he was only on 2 at the time.
Your in trouble if you play your game according to who is on/off discord. Mine automatically turns on with my laptop.
I wasn't asking you about the switch, I wanted to know what other people's thoughts were. I know your explanation, but I can't shake the idea that you got weirded out by an immunity train of all things. That to me sounds like someone who might know they were voting scum and were happy to hop off when it was gaining traction. The fact you jumped to defending it when there was no real pressure on you makes me think you have a guilty conscience.
You should also know I'm always on Discord. I usually leave it open on my computer and I have quite a few servers that I post in on my phone when at work, so I wouldn't rely on that. If you see them viewing the thread and not posting, that's more damning to me.
Tommi still seems fine to me otherwise. No real opinion on MTR or Blind yet.

It's the correct move. Mass block night 1 equals least amount of info going into day 2. Plus you never know if the cop hits the mass block character, or a vig shoots correctly...then you lose it.

You can use an old Discord channel to see if people are online. Anyone can. Using an old channel to check to see if people are online is a possibly good way to root out scum
I think he's at least trying to problem solve. He had a solid theory. I see what you're saying about his immunity vote but 3pups last game would check in scum chat before posting big theories like that and I don't see, if he's currently scum, getting the ok to post 4 names like that including yours. It would bring attention right down on 3pups which isn't something scum would welcome at this early stage in the game.

It’s pretty simple logic really, due to the nature of ‘Mystery’ they’re not contributing during discussion, they’re also in a unique position to slip under the radar so if they’re Town how much help can they be, and if they’re scum they’re much more dangerous than normal as they won’t slip up in the thread or leave much of a trail.

This townie is on discord all the time between my phone and laptop and work. I have a lot of servers I participate in. That being said I can see you catching someone that way but you need more evidence to back any of that up besides the whole discord online status.

Is it telling that the celebrities and talking entities in (in-game) PG's segment were coloured the same as the players? There were 11 mentioned in the cutaway, which might match the number of hidden actions.
Destro tried a mass RB "hoping to stop as many as he could" which suggests an element of chance. Hopefully it's a limited use ability.

Leslie - motivator? (although she might have been handing Vegas his immunity)

i am unable to vote during this day phase. that's the instruction i got from mazer based on last night's write up.
this line specifically, and the general talk of voter ID stuff in the blurb, makes me think their role, or at least this used ability, was strictly about the vote. getting me drunk and me passing out could definitely be a jailkeeper type description or it could be flavor since they're from cheers and needed to take my wallet. with the potential of a mass roleblock, i can't say for certain if it was a jailkeep“Well, Cliff I think we know how we can make sure that this guy doesn’t ruin the democracy”.
It honestly isn't. Like Psycho said, some of us are always on because we have it on computer, phone, etc for other channels. Looking at who is active via discord is just something that can backfire very fast and should rarely be used or take the info with a grain of salt.

I am relieved in that both Randolph and Jarrod, and for that matter, also Tommi understood what I was getting at. If it turns out to be nothing, well, we townies don't have anything anyway. Those of us who haven't used discord all that much see things differently than those who use it all the time.

My computer is always on... So I always show online on discord. This doesnt mean a damn thing as discord is used for things outside of our mafia games. So trying to equate being on discord to anything occuring in this game is really grasping at straws.

It is nice to see someone thinking outside the box, but as he stated he doesnt use discord much or outside of mafia. I can look and see I have 25-30 different discord servers im part of. Most of which are dedicated to various videogames and clans/alliances/guilds associated with said games.
And what would the view be if I left those servers now? That I have to be hiding something? Hell, just look at my status on discord at various times of the day/night, and see its always green.
I actually think that this whole discord thing has brought more attention out of game then actually hunting for scum

Boy, that sure stirred The Hornet's Nest. Pretty early to get worked up on accusations, even with the supposed sensitive topic of being on Discord.
also, I just wing it for mafia games. I have terrible memory problems nowadays so I can't check too often bc I'll forget what I saw beforehand and lack the attention span to catch back up on 50+ posts at once. I'm trying to solve that by looking back, which is something I generally never had to do before. So take that as you all will. I'm a person who tries, but I can't exactly be relied upon to be consistent.
it's the same jank we've dealt with before on mmo-c(and this one now too) where people would go by online status and last online times to try and connect dots. It's why I put myself offline here, but Mazer(and anyone else who might be a mod) can see through that, which kinda sucks to play with. Lurking isn't fun to deal with, but at the same time, folks don't want to be held to a strict expectation to always post when looking at the game.
I completely understand that people don't want their off forum activities to be used against them. He was just pointing out something that is worth mentioning, but it isn't swaying the votes either. People's reactions to what he said are what's more interesting to me.

How is preventing Caito from participating helping anyone? If he survives with nobody voting for him we could get more than flavor. Also to address the Discord discussion, I go between logging out and leaving it on invisible mode. Apart from Stratus Society business where I had a prospect and she kicked me in the nut after three dates saying we were too different and need to rant, I’ve not been on there lately.
The real scum are people who are invisible on the forums. The mods know who you are and should call you out.
