Ok so Bills/Dolphins was fucking historic.
The snowballs.
The stiffarms.
The lead changes.
The 2 point conversion.
Like...fuck

I wouldn't say it was historic, considering what literally happened earlier in the day. It was a good game with a fun setting, though.

This may sound mean but the Colts losing to a better team doesn't feel like that big of a deal to me.

The Jags are gonna win the fucking division aren't they?
Edit. I think we may be about to see Malik in the Titans game. Fork this team.

What a wild ending to the Raiders/Pats game. Lateral pick six for a walk off win? Crazy.

The NFL this weekend:
- Patriots lose on a walk-off lateral pick-six
- Cowboys lose on a walk-off pick-six
- Tom Brady loses a 17-point lead for the first time ever
- Colts blow a 33-0 lead, the largest comeback in NFL history
BONKERS
Notes:
- It was a very good weekend in the division for the Bills. The Dolphins probably need to find some balance on offense after seeing success in their run game Saturday, but their defense is certainly going to put the offense in tough spots. We're so late in the season and the Patriots just look like an abhorrent mess offensively. They hit a crappy run of bad breaks late too, to say the least lol. You didn't see enough from Zach Wilson to have a lot of faith in him going forward. This was his moment to get things back on track for his career and I think he underperformed. He produced points but they were generally on out-of-structure plays, and he looks shaky as hell when the pocket collapses.
- The Bengals really flipped the switch in the second half against the Buccaneers. What a response by them. Pair that with a very poorly-timed collapse by the Ravens, it feels like the division is there for the taking for the Bengals.
- With the way the last few weeks have gone, the division certainly feels up for grabs between the Titans and Jaguars. No offense to @Rancid_Planet, but I'd rather see the Jags in there and see how they do with learning on the fly. The Colts...yeah. Gross.
- Many said the AFC West was going to be a bloodbath. It was for an entirely different set of reasons, but this was the first week that all four teams won their games and what a wild way to see that happen. Can't believe the Raiders won the way they did at the end. Based on their schedule, as long as they don't fall on their face, the Chargers should make the playoffs.
- Injuries and problematic play at QB are starting to pop up in a big way for the Cowboys. Can't imagine they can feel good about how their last two weeks have gone. They're going to have to figure things out quickly or they're set up for a one-and-done appearance. The Eagles played with their food most of the game but it feels like they're still in a pretty good spot as long as they don't hit a sudden injury bug.
- I feel like the Lions were trying to get away with hoping Zach Wilson would implode, thus kind of trying to play not to lose and it almost burned them. I feel like that could be another pothole they come across next week against the Panthers. This really could've or should've been a game they lost but they did just enough to squeak by. Momentum has got to be at an all-time high for them and they've got a legit shot of the playoffs now.
- What a disaster from the Buccaneers going from half to half. The offense looked like it was in a total groove and absolutely fell apart after halftime. Brady wants this season to end faster than anyone else, I imagine. I doubt he's done but I assume he's definitely done being in Tampa though.
- As long as they don't suffer any more injuries, the Niners are going to be a damn problem for everyone. Including the Eagles. Their defense is just so damn fast and don't allow a lot of extra yardage once they get their hands on you. Purdy probably faced the toughest challenge in Seattle. He a few minor hiccups but still generally showed the poise to keep the offense moving. I think they're more dangerous than the Eagles right now.

No offense taken. And no worries it will 100 percent be the Jags.
We can't score. Full stop.

It feels like a self-fulfilling prophecy in motion with the Titans. They fired the GM and that's an indictment on the personnel and they're trending down, while the Jags are trending up.

Trevor is finally becoming Trevor. I have to deal with this guy in my division for the next 15 years.
Holy shit.

Jalen may be out vs the Cowboys. I didn't even know he was injured but I was checking next weeks lines and saw the Eagles at +6 and I knew something was up so I googled the eagles and yep, shoulder sprain.

Zach Wilson is too reliant on "the big play" meanwhile he can't complete bubble screens.

So apparently no game in the history of the NFL has finished 22-18 until yesterday when cincy beat new England.
I had cincy by -3.5

Notes:
- The AFC East had its issues this week. It really didn't feel like the Bills won their game more than they actually just stole it. The Patriots continue to perplex as their plan on offense looks as minimal as it can be. They're absolutely being carried by their defense at the moment. The Zach Wilson era is officially over for the Jets. He'll find a home next season but it remains to be seen if he can salvage his career as a starter. The Dolphins are struggling tremendously on defense and now the doubters of Tua are going to get that much louder. It's not a good look to go winless in December when you're trying make a playoff push.
- The Bengals are hitting their stride as a team at the right time. Losing Collins is certainly going to hurt their OL and I wonder what the heck is going on with McPherson. He needs to figure out his issues ASAP.
- The Browns look like they've wasted resource on Watson but we'll see what happens next season.
- The Jaguars need to take the division. They're peaking and the Titans are sinking.
- I have my suspicions about the Chiefs when it comes to a deep run. It's all moot if Mahomes goes nuclear but I'm not sure that I trust their defense to hold up against top-flight offenses. I don't think teams like the Bills or Chargers would be scared to go toe-to-toe with them.
- It was a great showdown between the Eagles and the Cowboys. I don't know if the MVP case for Hurts took a substantial dip but Minshew certainly held his own. Prescott is pretty much automatic for one catastrophic turnover per game now and that's troublesome when their defense is struggling. I came away more bullish on the Eagles.
- The Vikings are wild. They play in such a way where they can beat anyone and they truly can lose to anyone. That means it won't shock me if they make a super deep run or if they just fall flat on their face during Wild Card weekend.
- The Packers got everything they needed this weekend and now have a pretty decent shot of getting in the playoffs. I have zero faith in them but that doesn't mean they won't get in.
- Damn, Lions. They got wrecked emphatically by the Panthers. That hurts to see when they had all the momentum in the world.
- It feels like Brady and Evans are pretty snake bit as a duo right now. While Brady has earned the rep, I don't have a ton of faith in him to turn it on in the playoffs. There's just not enough there and he doesn't look right. If the Panthers had someone other than Darnold steering the ship, I think I'd be more in favor of them stealing the division in the end.
- Mayfield has certainly done a lot in a short amount of time to help rehab his image as a QB. There's going to be QB-needy teams and I'm sure he's helping his cause.
- The Niners are a damn problem for everyone right now. Their defense is suffocating and they keep the chains moving on offense. Kittle springing loose the last few weeks has really softened the blow of not having Deebo.
