I think given how things have started, we can see how the night goes but I do think we've got a few directions to possibly go in.

Well assuming it’s the usual nightchat okay as long as it’s not game-related, I did watch the first few episodes of this. Probably the best line for me so far is Glen from Fartbook:

One of my favorite is where they basically do a mock shark tank, but also simultaneously do a pisstake on a lot of reality shows.

Here's some non game talk. My wife is telling me she's wants a divorce. She hasn't been the same since her father passed. I am at a loss because we'd always said we'd work on it if and when a problem arose. She's been going to the bar and staying out all night. She fell asleep at the wheel and smashed her car back at the end of September. Her 3rd DWI and she even ran from the scene because the car she smashed into the guy came out and grabbed her and she ran. So hit and run. It's been a accelerated decline ever since then. About a couple weeks ago she said she's done.
I'm pretty hurt, angry, sad and depressed. I can't fathom losing the older kids because they technically are step kids and then there's Maverick. Just thinking my time with him will be cut in half makes my heart ache like no other.
She doesn't even want to talk about it. The whole situation makes my chest feel tight and makes me feel nauseous.

Unfortunately I know that pain too well. When my grandfather (my mother’s side) and my father passed on top of my brother fucking off to the states (now deceased, rest in peace) my mother’s alcoholism spiralled out of control to the point she just gave up living and stayed in her bed all day before she passed due to cancer.
I can only hope for you and your family’s sake that she gets that wake up call and eventually comes around.
Yeah I don't know if I can bring her back from this one. She's gone as much as she can be. Took a second job at a bar. I felt like that just gives her the out to leave and then she doesn't come home. I can't talk to her because she says I'm controlling. I don't think being worried for her is controlling but she disagrees I guess. She's never really wanted to go out. She was a home body and so am I. I don't mind her going out now but we do have two teens and the little guy and feel like her being here would be better than her not.
I am so sorry. I can't imagine what you're going through. I can hope she gets the help she needs before it all goes through, but that is just fucking tough. I know some people who have been through bad things with a spouse, and they still are able to keep that strong relationship with the kids.
But that just fucking sucks, and I'm sorry you're going through it.
Yeah I've reached the point that I needed to vent a bit. I just don't see how you can pass out and smash your car and then just act like nothing happened. Obviously she needs to talk to someone professionally but we just buy a new car and move on like nothing happened. Then I get the flak because I say continuing this behavior isn't the right thing to do for her, me or the kids.

This may sound harsh, but it comes from a place of good intentions. There is very little/nothing that you are going to be able to do or say for a while where you aren't going to be the bad guy. Doesn't mean you actually are, obviously. What it means is that your wife is going to have to come to some sort of realization on her own or with professional help. It sucks. It really does, but the best thing you can do is still try to show her your support, especially emotionally, which it seems like you are doing and want to do. Whatever path that takes you on, as long as your intentions remain good.... then you have done your best and will ultimately be the better for it. And hopefully, she is too.

We were having a drink and playing Scrabble last night when she got a call around 11. She just gets dressed and leaves saying we'll finish when she gets home.
I don't mind her going out but still thought it was a bit hurtful to just pick up and go when we were hanging out.
Today we were driving and I looked back to check to change lanes and saw her texting someone named Tim. How do you even broach that subject when you're trying to play nice?
I don't think she's physically cheating but if she's building a bond with other guys there's not a lot the husband can do. Fresh, new love has that butterfly feeling that 10 year love has to really work for to achieve. I don't feel like I neglected that but I'm not her I guess.
She's also been taking a bunch of meds for her health. She's dropped a lot of weight too but how does that and alcohol mix? I just feel like she's making decisions that she never would have made before.
I'm trying to go with the flow but I'm going nuts. I ask her to work on this with me but feel like that's falling on deaf ears. I fear that after the holidays things are going to fall apart real quick.
That's really rough. that's a lot of changes all at once. It sounds like you're doing all you can, but there's no way to say some behaviors are normal.
There more time goes on, the more I believe that love and commitment are decisions as much as feelings, and there's only so much you can do on your own. Damned if you do, damned if you don't sometimes.

Do we have two scum remaining? With the GF gone I can't imagine too many more inactive scum roles. If we're to the final two then that should be an easy town victory even if it takes a few cycles.

Nothing crazy standing out. Sucks we lost Psycho so early. Seems scum are risk takers because Psycho usually attracts a early Dr. coverage but with Psycho being the Doc there was no one to save him.
