    What Should I Listen To?

I want to listen to something other than what I usually listen to. I'd like a recommendation. Something that will blow me away.

    Thanks,

    Roger

@Melly, I will check out these during the week. I work from home so have plenty of time to stream albums during my work days!

@Donald here's what I have for you. I put some of my favorite songs of these artists next to their names.

Action Bronson (Easy Rider, Only in America, Barry Horowitz)
Machine Gun Kelly - started out as rap and just put out a pop-punk album, so this might appeal to the Kidrock fan in you
    AJR (Bang, Sober Up)
Bleachers (I Wanna Get Better, Don't Take The Money)
Judah & The Lion (Stockholm, Take It All Back)
In This Moment (Beautiful Tragedy, Whore, World in Flames)
Citizen Cope (Bullet and a Target, Salvation, D'artagnan's Theme)
Van Morrison (Into the Mystic, These Are The Days)

Is there any specific genres that you would like suggestions for? I know you have heard Dr Ralph before. Do you think you would like more music like that? How about rap? City Morgue is murdering the underground rap scene right now.

    Hmmm.

    Dinosaur Pile-Up. You'd like them a lot I think.

I believe MGK collaborated with Kid Rock on a song or two, I'll have to check more of him out.

Take it All Back by Judah & the Lion was on the radio a year or two ago, and I absolutely grew to hate it Still, should give some other songs a chance.

    Thanks for the recommendations

Based on you including Aphex Twin:

    Abul Mogard
Harold Budd (except for the music he made in the 90s, which is garbage. His stuff from the late-1970s and 80s is awesome, and so is the stuff he made starting in the mid-2000s)
    Autechre
    Leif
    Massive Attack
Nine Inch Nails - Ghosts V (Together) -- this is an an amazing instrumental album
    Alessandro Cortini
    Yu Su

I'm going to go with rap in the vein of Eminem, in this instance mostly meaning lyrical.

Logic (The Incredible True Story, Bobby Tarantino)
Mick Jenkins (The Healing Component, The Circus)
Childish Gambino (Camp, Because The Internet)
J.Cole (2014 Forest Hills Drive, Revenge of The Dreamers 3)
Kendrick Lamar (Good Kid M.a.a.d City, Damn)
Kanye West (My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, 808s & Heartbreaks, Watch The Throne)
Cordae (The Lost Boy) - my album of the year 2019
Joe Budden (Halfway House, Mood Muzik 4)
Royce da 5'9" (The Allegory, Book of Ryan)
Bad Meets Evil - Eminem and Royce da 5'9" (Hell: The Sequel)
    Fort Minor (The Rising Tied)
    Lil Dicky (Professional Rapper)
    Joyner Lucas (ADHD)
    King Crooked (Gravitas)
Reason (There You Have It, New Beginnings)
    Run The Jewels (RTJ 1, 2, 3 and 4)
Freddie Gibbs (Shadow of a Doubt, Bandana, Alfredo)
Benny The Butcher (Burden of Proof)
    Kota The Friend (Everything)
Conway The Machine (From King to a God)
    Aaron May (Chase)
    Grip (Halo EP)
    Deante Hitchcock (Better)
    Mark Battles (Fortunate, Fortunate 2)
Boogie (The Reach, Everything's For Sale)
