Little surprised no threads about this.
Anyway who watches The Masked Singer. I have to admit didn't watch much of first season but got hooked starting with the second season. Fun show.
Last night's reveal was of course unexpected since there was not vote and the celebrity just decided to take off the mask.

Ken Jeong is the best part of the show. Nicole is ok but I could do without Robin and Jenny. Also Nick Cannon is all sorts of awful.
This shit is wack.
I liked the first season but lost interest after that.
Watch it with the family each week. I liked the smaller total number of contestants from season 1, but still a good time.
Did enjoy Mickey this week. Because you can see about midway through the song, he just decided "fuck all this shit", and was gone.

Yeah, I was a bit upset with last night's episode. Thought for sure the Raccoon was going home, might have been the worst performance yet.

So I am all about shows mixing things up and changing things and adding twists to keep it fresh. But I think they are going a little overboard this season and hope it doesn't bite them in the ass.
The whole masked person doing extra clues and bringing in wildcards later on. The whole "game changing" theme this season. Seems a bit much. We shall see.
It was nice not having Nick Cannon as host, though I read he didn't host because he tested positive for COVID. I hope he recovers well.
It is only for part of the season. He will be back later during the course of the season. I think they said scheduling conflicts but I had also heard he had a positive test right as they were getting ready to start taping
I don't watch it but workmates were talking it a few months ago trying to figure out who Badger was and resisted the temptation to say "It's me!"

The only interest I have in these singing contests was X-Factor and the Freaks plus the try-outs being so bad that there was some good putdowns.
Though Louis Walsh is a knob. Cowell to an extent but he was funny and truthful now and again.
Call it cynicism in the manufactured pop music industry but the real talent usually get ignored in these things I find.
