There are two teams: four town players and two mafia lovers
Special mechanics:
1 – This is a nightless game. There are no town powers, and mafia do not have a night kill. When a majority is reached, the game will be considered ‘paused’ until I announce the lynch, the game can then continue.
2 – ‘Day phases’ are capped at 48 hours for game convenience. If majority hasn’t been reached, the player with most votes dies – in the event of a tie, a randomizer will be used.
3 – In the event of a mafia lover being lynched, their partner will commit suicide, giving instant victory to town.
4 – Mafia win when they control 50% of the vote.
5 – Mafia have access to a daychat function.
6 – There is no deadchat room for this game.

I can't play my normal "no lynch until investigation" style, because there's no night play.
Basically, we have to kill the mafia before they kill 2 of us (or 4 if we can't nail them both straight off). Even if people don't vote, someone dies. Could even be random.

It only takes 4 for a majority, so a couple of lazy "pressure" votes could mean it gets pushed through easily by mafia.. maybe not today on the first one but definitely during the next day.

Yaay some success, storms I think had killed it as wasn't the only last night who had problems.
I'm still wary as you were very keen with that vote before Stan kicked off the intros. However for now giving you benefit of doubt. Judas has not checked in yet though but still early days and plenty time left.

Gonna go out on a limb here and say a no lynch would actually be stupid in a game this size, and I'm typically on team no day 1 lynch.
I was always team day 1 no lynch but with no power roles it makes no difference here.
I felt like whoever started the vote would probably get the vote turned around on them but apparently Mazer didn't feel that way.

A no lynch seems like a waste since there will be no info coming from the Night Phase. We would be in the exact same spot we are at now, just in Day 2 instead of Day 1.

I certainly did feel that it would be turned around on me at some point. I mean, has the the first accusation ever not raised attention? Because in a game like this, we need to create action - I was willing to put myself out there.
I am completely with Judas on this. A strategy of no lynch/inaction borders on ridiculous. Psych and CWE enjoyed me typing that. Save it for later quotes, bastards.
This is the only game I've seen where a scum win is more likely. We have no role eliminations. They only need to get to 50%. Lead vote getter wins, and tie goes random. They may not ever even need to lead a consensus.
We need to get reads. And that will come by having all players need to present rationales and credible thoughts. Scum has the advantage of communication, so we need to get to tells. Because I didn't anticipate someone making a huge unforced mistake, I decided on a few small things I would look for, and that would be my first accusation. HFR triggered two. Didn't prove anything, but gave me a place to start. His response and others were fine, so he's less of a priority for me right now. I don't love him calling out that he will wait to reveal more of his strategy, as I think it creates cautiousness. However, HFR is a very strong player (town or scum), and I think there's some interesting thoughts on where he could take this.
Badger, your response to a light tie-in with you and HFR is strong. its not that dissimilar to how you responded last game to kangus's questioning after my death.

I was looking for a discussion. I am pro a day one lynch, but we really don't lose or gain anything by not lynching.
In a regular game, a day one no lynch makes the most sense because we know we will be getting our first bits of info in the Night Phase. We don't have that luxury now.
I love kangus btw but that point is irrelevant because he was taking wild guesses/fishing even after being brought back so still ultimately irrelevant.

Absolutely. I've not tried to push on a day 1 lynch before, and I'm trying some tactics I've seen others employ. Something is going to have to stick at some point for us to win. I disagree with HFR's thoughts about randomization. I think we'd be better off to press on a couple people, with a chance to hit and at least look at behaviors.
Right now, me and Bert have thrown out votes. obviously, part of me wonders if Bert was thrown out there as a player who is unknown to some of us, and to see if anyone would jump on the train. But that might also be natural defensiveness on receiving a vote. Regardless, I understand why you always look at the first person to throw out a name. HFR has advocated for randomization and seeing if mafia slips up after. Judas expressed a sentiment that we should all agree with, but is non-controversial. Timesplitter has talked about a d1 lynch and pushed back on me some on my HFR accusation.

First game with Bert so not familiar with his style so hard to get a lock on. His vote on you was maybe a bit quick whereas I was giving you some thought first.

I was curious about Bert yesterday after voting and then kind of going with a post about being less into it. It's understandable to feel different about a game, but still interesting.
Judas could be hoping to just slide under long enough.

If HFR has a concern about fluff posting, I’ll be up and front honest for those that know me that I do like to joke about just about everywhere on these forums. Like with mafia, just an attempt to create a bit of humourous fun and banter. However I also do contribute seriously too did give my initial thoughts on everyone yesterday and had similar concerns to Bert.
I’m trying to give Judas the benefit of the doubt for as long as possible before voting here as his last post anywhere was that one yesterday. Right now that’s where I’m still leaning at the moment but if he is able to check in and post more I might change my mind.

Accusations and counters fly across the piazza. Bert tries to move the arguement to somewhere more secluded, but is surprised to find the crowd turn on him instead. A blade flashes through the space and between Benvolio's ribs. He slumps to the floor as it dawns on the mob what they have done.

I tend to guess Badger is town now. Mostly a read. Could be wrong.
Timesplitter's vote on Bert was early, and could have been leading. I don't fault the overall logic though.
I did find it interesting that HFR pressed Badger to vote by voting. I had wondered if I took one of them to three, if he would vote for the other to randomize. I thought if that was the case though, he would be more likely to be defending Bert than judas. the rationale wasn't great, but the rationale for bert and judas weren't amazing either, and people were willing to go on that train.
Judas is still of interest. He is one of the quieter players, so it might be that. But this is one where we need people to play against style.
We need to be very careful here with official voting. If any of us vote for the wrong person, all it takes is two scum to jump right on. that would take it to 4 people, and scum would control 50% of the vote. Endgame.
Why would you push someone to 3 .... you have no real reads, no info, yet make it just one person to be lynched over another?
It makes it look like you've covering for Judas.......
I had no strong feelings of anyone over anyone in the previous phase.. but limiting it to 2 seemed pointless.. to then have someone limit it to 1 is .. bonkers. Could have levelled it up on Badger for a 3 way dance. The odds were far better.
