Video game music challenge day 4 - Music from a console-exclusive series

Mario. Sonic. Crash. Picking music from a console-only game involves making several important decisions. Yet one tune stands out from all I’ve played:

My choice here is probably my favourite Mario tune apart from the main theme. This is the version off Allstars on the SNES which is better than the original IMO. Hope you like it, woowoo.

I'll use this opportunity to plug something I don't see talked about and it's Bowser's Road from Mario 64. I just like how it sounds, and whatever those background instruments in that fade in at 00:33 are charming to me for some reason.

Trying to avoid using a lot of Nintendo, so how about a tune from my favorite Sega Saturn series?



my best friend was gifted a Sega Saturn by one of his neighbors who had just gotten PlayStation. We played the Clockwork Knight games for hours and hours trying to beat them and I always remembered what a great soundtrack they had. Looked up the OST in YouTube earlier and ended up listening to it all the way through it was such a great collection of tunes.

Had a few lined up for this but after some searching it appears that a lot more games than I realized were also released on PC etc.

So lets go for The World Ends With You on the DS, specifically the song Hyrbid.



It's a game I should revisit at some point. At the time when I played it I found it very unique but never got fully into it as I was playing Etrian Odyssey at the time too so was distracted.

Just saw this got a later release on Android but meh, they don't count.

I never owned one like I hoped for back then, but my Dad lived with a friend who had one, and this was one of the games he owned. I played it a lot.
