Traxx’s responses has made me feel good, played a good game for his first time which means he could be faking but leaning towards genuine.
kdestiny has been quite talkative and is trying to scumhunt so also got a good feeling about him.
I’ve seen Jarrod’s scum game and he is more talkative than usual plus the tracker’s silence seem to have cleared him.
I’m reasonably confident in you too but also wary you could be bluffing by dismissing the scum on scum block theory. Can’t be too careful as this could be the scum game I haven’t seen from you yet!

Quick observations for now.
Had I been around on Day One I'd have voted for and pushed hard on Fro. Even if we were to lynch on Day One no town here would ever let that lynch be on CWE. For all that bravado of let's lynch D1, why go after somebody who you'll never be able to push through? Especially when CWE's posts are heavily signalling he's town.
I don't like it when new guys get picked on and we've got it going on right now. It's easy to confuse them as they're not used to the game and use them as distractions.

Considering how many players we have, I'm surprised we had so few roles act. But at the same time it doesn't seem like there really are a lot of scum out there.
I wouldn't initially have been surprised if the Yellow and Red scum have alternating kills and alternating blocks/similar. But it seems the red had the kill and Mazer didn't act. So now I don't know how much I'm believing that theory.
My gut read is also that the mystery vote is a town vote.
Also good to see that JP is kicking, was starting to be concerned but I saw he tweeted something earlier today so got a bit less concerned. Figured he had just gotten himself busy with something so good to see that is the case.

JP has a point about how CWE D1 lynch would have never went through. I was trying to be more involved and have a open mind to lynching someone but when it came to CWE I was apprehensive because, if he is town, he is a asset to have. I feel the same about Psycho and Fro though. As a town, with no real concrete info on any of them, why would we get rid of them blindly in D1? I wouldn't vote any of them on D1 unless I was just fucking around. It gets complicated when they start during shots at each other.
I don't think any of us are picking on new people. I see it as getting them involved. Can't show them the way if we let them hide in the corner. Plus, I do think there's a good chance one or two of the new people are Red or Yellow.

Honestly I think we could possibly put Donald down to pure lack of activity. I've not seen him around the wrestling forums the past week. He probably would've been picked up by the tracker now too. That's why I haven't got on that train.
Psycho I ultimately see as scum-hunting and has also asked a key question which a couple of us have answered though it also would be nice for him to answer his own question. Not really accusing him there just saying. He did dismiss the scum block and prob given his smarts he's likely right but also just to keep things in the back of our mi d.
Fro has been active but he has also flip flopped many times in his points, voting CWE, Psycho and possibly trying to out the tracker there too. Slight concern there.
The lack of activity from several posters does make this hard at this point. If this goes to another no lynch, I hope there's more activity during the day and night because TS does deserve it. Summer holidays and that are probably making it difficult just now but let's do our best!

i am liking traxx, jarrod and donald for town, at the moment, with psycho on the fence.
diamond is jumpy and was jumpy towards the end in the ff7 game. i don't necessarily think that means he's scum, but it certainly doesn't help. psycho coaching him up, while very nice of him, is what puts him on the fence for me. could be scum seeing one of their own floundering and publicly trying to tow them back before their head gets chopped.
i'm still iffy on fro. i can't tell if mikey calling out the inactive/less active people is a town or scum move. i lean towards town, as the more people talk, the more rope they let out to hang themselves with, but i'm still so new to the game that i'm not totally sure there isn't a scum angle for the same tactic.

Personally, I think Jarrod and CWE are the most town leaning so far. Everyone else seems to be playing more from past experiences and mind games. Not sure if the flip flopping is to weed out town or scum at this point.
Also, I haven't had the chance to properly check (got my kids at the mo, so will do it later) but I've only counted 23 characters in the write ups. With 25 players that leaves 2 unknowns. How is the town/neutral/scum ratio looking like to everyone? How likely is it for us to blind lynch scum successfully?
Looking the numbers I suspect our missing characters are both scum. I'm hazarding a guess they're both yellow and (based on wiki) Larfleeze is a serial killer.
Legit, I hate the strategy of using a block to clear yourself on D1. It rarely works and hardly pays off. And it's such a common tactic that it's more likely to earn you suspicion than not. I think it is always more worth it to use the roleblock to search for a power role. You're really just wasting your time and still reducing the field if you just try to block one of your own.
Talk to me about kdestiny. I've been getting a "strangely motivated scum" vibe from him, but not really strong enough to act on yet.
Even if you won't vote there, do you get any gut scum feels on Fro or CWE?
I don't think The Diamond is being picked on, though. We voted him for pressure, and have evaluated his reactions pretty thoroughly. I'm doubting an actual lynch goes through at this point, but when you get the chance, you should have a look at my interaction with him.

I still don't really trust Fro. His vote on me felt like a weak attempt to seem like he was still confrontational and trying to shake the boat. Plus, with two mafias, he can look like he's scum-hunting while still trying to tear town apart. Let's not forget that the two mafias have to play a delicate balancing act of how frequently they kill each other vs. townies. And Fro knows that.
I would vote there but it would need to be a helluva D1 argument to get me to vote any of you 3 on D1. Unless I'm just messing around which I said.
Once the game gets going though if there is a reason to vote anyone of you I, of course, would.
I'd vote Fro before CWE. Just the flip flops and how he said he's had suspicions on CWE for a bit but we just started. Granted Fro is better at picking out details than I am so not sure what he saw to make him vote CWE D1 but I didn't see it.
Now that I've come back to this, I'm not 100% sure about JP. His defense of Diamond felt a bit misplaced and misunderstanding the context, but considering he probably had to skim a bunch of stuff, totally understandable, and I'm willing to stick with my positive read until given reason not to.
I've spoke a bunch about Jarrod already. His whole attitude and tone in thread comes off like a townie, especially the way he amped up after being scanned. Maybe Godfather? But he doesn't feel manipulative or like he has anything to hide.
Badger read keeps getting stronger with every post. He's very up front and trying to do what he can to drive conversation. I also feel unless he's directly scum with JP, that he wouldn't necessarily bother going out of his way to contact him on Twitter. I mean, common decency to make sure he's alive and allat, but even without that, he's reading pretty clean.
HFR is the weakest read here, and it could probably change at any moment. I just like how carefree he seemed at the start of D2, and he seemed convinced about his approach in questioning me. I feel like I had something else, but I'd have to go back and reread the earlier part of the phase.

There absolutely is a scum angle for the same tactic, mostly just to seem like a helpful townie. It's generally better to leave quiet people quiet, because it makes it easier for you to hide, which is part of why I had the above Badger read. But I do think that often it comes from town trying to keep the game from being dead. I also get decent vibes from Mikey's posts so far.
I would totally be trying to coach him up, but I'd also be coaching him in the mafia chat telling him where he needs to elaborate more so I could have a good excuse to back off. Even then, I'd probably still try to label him as a newbie and back off for the day.
But I actually want him lynched because I think he's scum here who was caught on nothing, and his reaction showed it.

I feel confident the remaining roles are non-town, but I could see maybe one more green sneaking in there. Though, I wouldn't consider a lynch on The Diamond blind at this point. Just less supported by mechanical info.

I'm guessing Fro operates on gut hunches and/or picking a name out of a hat that turns into a serious push after seeing some reactions. That's the main reason I voted CWE was for reactions and seeing how the fight between him and Fro developed. But I agree that overall, Fro has given me reason to doubt, whereas CWE really hasn't.

I guess confident is the wrong word. I more meant what made you theorize that there would be more than yellow. Main reason it stood out to me is because red is usually the primary mafia color, and if I'm not wrong, they usually have more members if the numbers are uneven. But yeah, this explains why you leaned yellow over red.
I'm not sure "trust" would be the appropriate word! It's not a concrete hunch, just the way people flip flopped on his D1 lynch train felt very unorganised. I guess if he was scum more would've been done to cast suspicion elsewhere?
Interesting thought, and something that seems pretty genuine. My only hang-up with that is scum could have felt comfortable that A) a D1 lynch wasn't going to happen and B) a D1 lynch on CWE definitely wasn't going to happen. But I think that's the right way to think about it ultimately.

I might vote Diamond. I'm having trouble deciding if he was a scum that was plucked out of nowhere or someone who hasn't played much and doesn't know how to react to receiving votes. If we don't have anything else to go on I feel like Diamond is our best bet.

First point - As things stand, I'm comfortable with a Donald vote even if it didn't gain much traction. I don't see my vote changing even because I don't believe anything will come of it. If I do change, it would be no lynch
Second point - Voting Jarrod would be suicide at this point. Either I claim cop and get killed, or fakeclaim and get lynched. I'm confident Jarrod's clean (or Godfather).
I just think there's more sense in voting for someone involved in the writeup given the number of roles they could be is fewer than otherwise. If Donald was targeted by a tracker the silence indicates that no-one targeted him N1.
I know I've played the newbie card quite often already, but without that knowledge of previous D1's I can only go with what's in front of me. All I've been reading about in the lead up is a D1 lynching and who's on board!
As for Stan; the discrepancy between voting for Donald but talking about Jarrod is worrying. It could be a freudian slip or a genuine error. I guess time will tell.

Ok, I think maybe I misunderstood the tone of that second post? I thought you were saying Fro's comments about your Donald vote are coming off like he's insinuating you're trying to out a power role by voting who the tracker targeted, but instead of Donald, you said Jarrod. So I'm assuming by this response that you were saying Fro was blowing your vote out of proportion because it's not as bad as voting Jarrod is.
Also, remember the tracker figures out who Donald targeted, not who targeted him. So it would be the silence indicates he didn't target anyone. Meaning he's not Zillus or Atrocitus at least.
Thoughts on The Diamond and the way he handled the pressure?
My thing with that is I feel with how much time had passed and with him popping in thread to talk about non-game related stuff but nothing else...wouldn't he have some more feelings about the people voting him or looking elsewhere? His wagon is still present, but a lot of discussion formed around other topics, making it a comfortable environment to come back in and start trying to do work again. Town Diamond may be new, but does he just fold to pressure that is hardly there? I feel it's more likely a new scum would be completely frozen here than a new town.
New town usually talks their selves into a hole where they dig their own grave. Diamond has kept as tight-lipped and vague as possible, and when I emerged out of our interaction liking him less, he completely shut down. That to me feels like an admission of guilt.
Jesus, I'm always getting tracker and watcher mixed up. That clears Donald of a few more town roles then.
Diamond is handling the pressure like a new player being targeted early on in a massive game on no evidence. I don't think he's being coached here.

I'm going to give Stan the benefit of the doubt for now that we read that second post wrong based on how he responded to my question. That reasoning on Diamond is pretty much what got me to want to vote him in the first place. Most people who have responded to questions about suspicions or trust lists have had some kind of vague reasoning for it, but Diamond just put out some names pretty plainly.
No worries on the above, though. Like I said, you're looking at the right things, and on a different forum, that sort of thing would matter for D1. But here, too many people are hesitant to make a D1 lynch happen. Hell, you could still be right.

It's a shame there's been a drop in activity since the game started but there's nothing you can do when life throws you for a loop. Genuinely hope everyone is doing alright.
The game tends to be slower on the weekends, and at least a couple people have mentioned things that will distract them. But with a game this big, I'm sure most of them will perk up in the next couple phases. Considering the yellow death, it's not a huge loss if D3 is a crapshoot. At least we've had some discussion.

I still think there are a couple lurkers in that group though. Especially with Yellow losing Mazer right off the bat. If Mazer was the vet and left a group with new players then hiding almost becomes the easiest option for them.
A couple of things. Firstly, the following post seems either intentionally naive(as it should have been immediately clear during role confirmation this was an odd night/even night game) or Pablo has a passive/one time only role.
Secondly, why did red target Mazer of all people? Was it an under the radar selection? Did someone on red scummies suggest his name specifically? If so let's keep an eye on Badger.
Mazer has been seen as a more widespread threat recently. I think his kill was more a strong player kill rather than a familiarity kill.

Even with it being an even/odd game. We have 25 players and only 6 actions. I know we're coming off a couple power-heavy games. But having only 6 actions leads me to believe a fair bit of people didn't use their role. We had two reds. No yellow. Orange didn't act. Obviously nothing to act on yet as the reds and yellows may be fully alternating days, but it's just something I found noteworthy.
That you would consider to call me out over it is more surprising. As for the current wagons, I dislike them because it just seems like bullying out people. Expecting people, especially relatively new people, to be able to defend themselves when we've not had a vote of consequence yet is very difficult and very easy for scum to put pressure on town and end up saying, I didn't like their response, should they get called out later. As things stand I don't see anything obviously damning, so I'm once again not going to vote this phase.
I don't really see how it's that surprising. It didn't seem like a particularly fruitful thing to point out at this point since we don't know the full scope of antagonism. Again, I don't really think what's happening with Diamond can be called bullying, and it seems odd that you're the second person that's painted it that way. Not sure if there's really anything to read there, but I think calling it that is undercutting the effort of those of us evaluating Diamond.
But you didn't really answer my final question. So, clearly you think Diamond is more likely to be town. If that's the case, who on the wagon are you first suspicious of?
This also isn't a case of people just being like, "Diamond, you're scum. Why are you not?" I tried to engage in a conversation with him about how he felt about the wagon and he had next to nothing for me. I wasn't expecting anything in-depth, but TraXX is new and he was able to give me something with the smallest bit of substance behind it. And you know well that the vote on Donald has little to do with him being new and more to do with the fact he was targeted by a tracker.
I'm actually wondering if Pablo is satisfied with the state of the game, and therefore isn't paying as close attention. If he is scum, he would know both Donald and Diamond are town and could say exactly what he's saying: "seems like bullying out people."

I am satisfied with the state of the game, and without any solid leads my inclination was to go no lynch. Your question was, where is my head naturally leaning and it was naturally leaning to no vote.
Now that I see the true question you wanted to ask, I really don't see one as more guilty than the other, but I see Diamond with more of a town read and Donald I have no real read on.
Also you should also well know that any scum would only know who the scum on their side was, but i'm just going to let that one slide as another one of your implications.
I meant where was your head leaning as far as who do you see as most likely to be guilty. This isn't a case of twisted words like you seem to be making it out to be.
Your last point, again, isn't about who is scum or town. It's that from a scum perspective, anyone not you or your partners is either innocent or someone you don't have to worry about being connected to. So it's easy to assume it's just bullying new town as opposed to the actual reasons for the wagons.
I'll go back and take a look again, I had been away all weekend so wasn't closely reading every post. But what I had seen didn't seem very convincing.

morrison with a nice target there, but an unfortunate ending. not sure what happened with the yellow/orange collaboration
So far, it would seem yellow and red alternate, with potentially the serial killer on even nights as well. I need to look at the last write-up, because some of the actions don't seem as clear-cut as usual.

Sadly, it looks like Diamond was tracked the same night he was roleblocked, so no info there. Hard to say whether him being blocked with a lack of yellows or reds mean anything.
But I'd like to say this is what I don't like about not having early lynches. We've hardly gained anything from the last two nights and we're still at square one.
I'm assuming it's just flavor. Despotellis tried to kill me, but Morrison protected me. Larfleeze targeted Morrison.
On that line of though, do people think Atrocitus and Alton block both their target AND anyone that targets them, or is that also just flavor? I'm leaning flavor right now.
