A lot of the toys we have come and go. They will be gone for a bit and then yup they are back. My oldest had Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, no Rainbow Brite but she was around as well. I do remember seeing He-Man, Transformers, and such around as well.

And people will talk about oh can't they come up with something original....They do, it's just that our shit was the coolest. People forget how many new type of toys that weren't properties from the 80's that have thrived. It's not like Visionaries are still on the shelf or Battle Beasts, I wish.

or how about these places that sell those Star Wars sized non-moving figures for $20?? It'll be like an alien in a suit from They Live, 4" figure, $19.99. I was at Target 2 days ago and they have GI Joes who's arms don't bend, legs don't move, $20. The funny part is, they sell these newer GI Joes that are detailed as fuck, they're like the size of WWE figures and only about 5-10 bucks more than the little non-moving bullshit. I don't even remember GI Joes that didn't move that was a Star Wars thing.

I was a huge into He-Man even though those figures were limited in movement. I had more He-Man than anything. G.I. Joes were next. I loved Transformers but they were a little more expensive for the bigger ones.

I'm glad my kids never got into Transformers because they're still expensive.

GI Joe was my shit. My brother and I had so many between the two of us. I used to have a wrestling federation where Sgt Slaughter with the blue hat was the champ forever lol. He-Man was right up there. I thank my grandparents for being super cool and never getting rid of the toys we would leave behind. They have several bins and totes full of toys that we had, including about 50-60 different Happy Meal toys from the 80's. I'll go over there and be like holy shit you still have this sumo from the Chuck Norris cartoon??

That Netflix show the Toys that Made Us is incredible, it really tugs on the heartstrings because it takes me back to that time of LJN/Hasbro WWF wrestlers, GI Joe, He-Man,e tc.

It was great. I went maybe too fast to the end, but I think the possible showdown for Part 2. Shatner was great and I loved that easter egg line.

Really enjoyed it. The understated “By the Power of Greyskull” in the final episode was lovely. I liked Skeletor’s story and Shatner was a brilliant addition to the voice cast. Bear McCreary’s score continues to be excellent.

Pics from the set show Adam on Earth. Meh. Why can't we just have He-Man on Eternia? Why does Earth need to play a role in these live action movies?

The cast looked moderately interesting. I am disappointed in the Earth thing. This isn't Mortal Kombat. Nobody needs to visit Earth Realm.

It would seem Adam is on earth and makes his way back to Eternia. Not a fan of that. Just do a movie set in Eternia. Not sure why we have to come to Earth.

The first Masters movie was great til they got to Earth. It has to be a cost cutting measure or some troll/wink or nod to the first one. Probably cost cutting due to Eternia actually being a world which you need to build or get out of the studio parking lot. I fear this is going to go the way of Smurfs of "How funny these animated/weird things are in our world." Our world sucks right now, take me to a place where there is magic/science running wild as the people living in it. Instead we get He-Man in LA. FFS.
