Hall of Fame for Inaminate Objects

Per discussion in the RAW thread, I think this is worthy of its own discussion thread.

What inanimate objects used in wrestling (or at least, have been featured in storylines) belong in their own separate category of the Hall of Fame?

Steps and chairs are a given, as are ladders.

I'll add the Spanish Announce Table, and perhaps the Hell in A Cell.

But what else is truly worthy enough for a Hall of Fame spot?

We don't want a watered down list of props, that would include a Moppy or Iron Mike Sharpe's wristband, but props like the Undertaker's Urn might deserve consideration.

If it's WWE's HoF, you know Trip's sledgehammer will be headlining a class.

I need more convincing on Moppy, because the run was comparatively short, although Saturn got him/her/it over in a big way. Pepe is very similar. Maybe an honorable mention, or just a spot in the celebrity wing.

I will agree on Head, and definitely caskets.

And forgive me, but Badger mentioned Cookie Sheets and Garbage Cans, as well as Mick Foley's Barbie.

For that matter, we should include thumbtacks, and perhaps even Randy the Ram's Staple Gun

    Stone Cold Steve Austin's Steveweisers

Moppy and Pepe's runs were short but very memorable plus had to endure a gruesome woodchipper death. Icons who deserve proper posthumous inductions.

And before anyone suggests it, whether deserving of rep or not, despite appearing inanimate, the Great Khali is not eligible for this category.

I'll add Mr. Fuji's bag of salt, and Gorgeous George's perfume atomizer.

The King of the Ring Crown / Scepter / Royal Robe / throne belong in a royalty wing.

On the guitars, there have been many that are deserving, but like Moppy and Pepe, they never seem to last without getting bashed on someone. But Honky Tonk Man must have kept one intact somewhere...

And sorry I missed it @Bluegunn, but $$$. The Million Dollar Man's cash definitely belongs - as does the basketball he kicked out of that little kid's hand. Making a kid cry on national TV, to get heel heat, is truly inspirational.

I don't know if we're going to include parts of wrestler's costumes, like the Rock's elbow pads, but what the heck, this was my thread, so why not? Pat Patterson's skid marks were funny as hell.

Agreed on Cornette's tennis racket and Jimmy Hart's megaphone.

Bret Hitman Hart's sunglasses belong, because he gave so many away to young fans, making the experience special for them.

And thumb tacks, especially when Orton's back became as JR would say a "human pin cushion".

    That night Orton was made.

EDIT: Okay just realised you already mentioned them.

I guess we should have a musical wing that would include guitars (Honky Tonk Man, Jeff Jarrett, and Elias versions, heck why not include the Rock's too), as well as Francesca the Trombone (thank you Stan), and probably even the ring bell if we want to count that as musical. I'll nominate Sgt Slaughter's whistle to this subcategory. Cyndi Lauper's gold album (that she smashed over Roddy Piper) might fit in the music wing as well. Any other musical instruments deserving a shout out?

What would Ron Simmons say reading this list, getting this far and noticing we haven't mentioned the APA door/frame and card table?

If we have a musical wing then as you're walking through it, every two minutes the Royal Rumble buzzer goes off.

Edge's cue cards that he had Angle read, the ones that said "I'm a dork" on the back

Jericho's list of 1,000+ wrestling holds that took him a full commercial break to get through

    Mud baths

Christian's huge jar of "ass cream" with the awesomely gigantic label on it.

Good question, but perhaps "cousin Ricky's" prosthetic teeth count.

Andy Kaufman's "intergender" championship, but more importantly, the cup of coffee he threw at Jerry Lawlor on Letterman.

Since Tempest is rarely around these days, I'm going to safely say Kurt Angle's tiny boots.

Maybe we convince Val Venis to donate as well. He seems like he'd believe about anything these days

This was fun to read, although I dunno about Rikishi's Stink Face, as that's more of a move than an inanimate object. I like your wording with the duct tape.

I think more of George the Animal Steele, may he rest in peace, when it comes to exposed turnbuckles, but JBL is a good call as he is still living.

The Low Rider used by Los Guerreros in the Viva La Raza segments, that Eddie and Chavo came out fully expecting to be heels. We Lie, We Cheat, We Steal, but Cheat 2 Win was loved instead. If you're not cheatin', you're not tryin!

Also can’t believe everyone including myself in that has not brought up Bray’s Firely Funhouse Friends. Especially Ramblin Rabbit.

The Holly scales as well that had the magical power to double their weight.

I mean there are several candidates. I remember Stephanie McMahon having memorable interactions with young Y2J just after her surgery. Certainly between Charlotte's busting and being part of a memorable feud with Becky, they deserve mention as candidates.

But I think you're right. Sable was a pioneer in that arena.

Great call, and it's a shame they haven't gotten love. I finally figured out that they must be a necessity for a backstage interviewer to never be more than 15 feet away from clangy pipes at any time, just in case someone wants to interrupt a segment.

Seriously, has anyone ever figured out why EVERY backstage arena has these things around?

Agreed, at this rate we may as well put Mike Sharpe's wristbands. He even threw them to the crowd before matches in the 80s

    Need proper guidelines like
Need to be used in a match or storyline
Used by more than one wrestler

Also probably dont need the specific wrestler to be in the hall. Like a steel chair is no different than the chair by edge and Christian or Balls
Same with guitar and a few others like sunglasses.

Shout out to fire ball even though Hogan and undertaker were not great at them
