very rightly hearing lots of talk about how much of a lame duck PPV this is, but bryan/gulak, black/AJ, the RAW tag match all sound pretty promising.

I liked what he did with Mysterio on Smackdown more. They just never got the benefit of a PPV match. Humberto makes everything he does look ridiculously easy, though.

I get that the Chamber is the draw, but that match didn't need it.
Asuka didn't even try to pop the mist.

I think Asuka should have won and continued her feud with Becky but Shayna is a great challenger for Becky. I can see them main eventing WM

The story between Gulak and Bryan was a little quick or lazy in the three or four weeks leading to tonight but I thought Cole crystalized it with his commentary. Cole said Gulak wanted to be just like Bryan but he realized Bryan had weaknesses and now he want to prove he’s better than him by exploiting those weaknesses. The match was a banger. Give me Bryan nuking Sheamus to make up for WM 28 or get Bryan the IC title and have him with open challenges (ala Cena) and spotlight wrestling.
The US title match was good and those two guys work great together but it was hurt by redundancy to me, especially with the finish/result. I read that this was the seventh match involving Andrade vs. Carrillo since December. It was their third title match in under six weeks. Making it that much more heavy, Andrade was suspended for four of those weeks. I will say, it was a big plus that this was a PPV match so we could see it uninterrupted. I'm not interested in Carrillo giving Andrade comeuppance. It's time for both of them to move on.
Tag chamber match was super clunky but had a ton of fun spots. It was like an action movie that didn't really want to do much with a plot. There's interest in that by a wide audience but it was just kind of there. I think we're heading to another multi-tag match at Mania where it comes to a head between Heavy Machinery and Roode/Ziggler. The heels pummel Otis and Mandy sympathizes. Near the home stretch, Ziggler reveals his true douche-ness by attempting to use Mandy as a shield. It backfires, HM wins, Otis gets Mandy, and all is right with the world.
The No-DQ stip and the overall pace of the match just seemed weird. The OC just stood patiently during the match and interfered when the ref wasn't looking at first, which didn't make sense. I guess Styles wanted to nobly win at first but it hit the fan when he was in danger. The crowd seemed more interested in hopefully seeing Undertaker than the match itself. The stip was weird too because you've got two very good performers in the ring but the crowd only popped for the match when weapons were involved. I'd rather see a triple threat of Black/Taker/Styles or Black versus Taker but I presume we're going to get Taker and Black versus AJ and the Good Brothers at Mania.
Raw tag title match was fine for what it was. Just felt like a big rehash of what we saw Monday. Part of me is wondering if they're using Owens to work through old ideas they had for Ambrose as a foil for Rollins. Move on and place a larger emphasis on the tag division, please.
So they went ahead and booked Zayn, Nakamura, and Cesaro (mainly Cesaro) like jobbers for the last few weeks/months to ultimately become the IC champ. As a result...see what I said about Bryan. Meanwhile, that is Zayn's first title on the main roster.
Much better representation for Baszler tonight versus the long, heatless match on Monday. She ran the table, eliminating everyone. Probably could have gone with Rumble timing rather than sticking to an actual clock for the entries. Despite the stalling with the time, the layout of the match actually worked in a favorable way because we saw Shayna versus Kairi Monday, and had anticipation build within the course of the chamber match for the final two competitors. Proper booking, flimsy match.
Save the mist for next time. Asuka's star is rising yet
That was God awful.
I say Asuka pops the mist and Shayna no-sells it, snatches her in the choke, and puts her out. Something that feels less like a ceremonial burial.

The story of Asuka being a worthy challenger to Brock was great and I did not mind the dead spaces of the countdowns. This ppv had plenty of action.
The story of Asuka having a hand injury may have some redeeming quality in the long run. I know Asuka and Shayna could wrestle a much more competitive match but tonight was not the night for that.
I would be amazed if Shayna beats Becky for the title. And after tonight, i would be amazed if Becky beats Shayna.
Tonight was kind of a squash...the story of Shayna dominating was great though. I did not see it coming.
Gulak/Bryan was match of the night. Bryan went out of his way to make Drew look like a star and Drew wrestled like a star. So glad they did this in Philly.

I like Shayna, but I really don't think she's top top main event worthy or caliber. Having her end the show was meh, and it's pretty obvious that she's not bankable.
If she beats Becky, fine. But she's going to be a boring champion.
Good PPV for the most part but the booking of that main event women's chamber was garbage. Felt like Brock at the Rumble without the Drew elimination payoff.
Wonderful PPV, helped build up WrestleMania nicely.
Asuka v Brock? Book that shit.
The show's pacing was completely off. The tag cell match took about 15 minutes to pop off. I felt back for Lucha House Party. The lack of chemistry for not working with any of the top teams ever really showed.
What ultimately killed it for me was Braun losing. And then the women's EC was pretty whack. Aside from the spot where Shayna blasted Liv into the pod what else was there? The Raw women's division can't carry a match like that but shit apparently neither can the SD tag-team division despite having some of the best teams on the planet.
Black v. Styles and DB v. Drew Gulak were the only matches that really delivered but even the Black-Styles match was off a little for me. I guess I expected a little more but I assume we'll get more out of them down the road.
Maybe Braun's new gimmick is he wins a title but can't hold on to it for more than a month.
I guess lol. I mean at least he took Nak's finisher up against the ringpost but still it was pathetic. Whatever positive energy was left in that Philly crowd was sucked out completely when Zayn won.
I hope it sets up Zayn vs. Nakamura vs. Cesaro vs. Strowman at WrestleMania. Zayn taking credit for beating Strowman, with Nakamura and Cesaro allwe did all the work.
Or better yet just make it Nakamura vs. Zayn vs. Cesaro, and insert Strowman into the Reigns vs. Goldberg match.

I want to say yes because some people in here are saying it was a good ppv overall, some thought it was shit so I guess it just depends. Personally I'd skip over it, even the Black/Styles and Bryan/Gulak matches aren't exactly MUST SEE.
Definitely for the first three matches. It gets somewhat questionable from that point on.
Bryan/Gulak, Carrillo/Andrade, and the Women's main event were all great and the rest of it is worth seeing.
Rebooking the women's Chamber:
Start with Liv and Riott, personal beef between them that the crowd's familiar with to get invested straight away. They go at it pretty fierce.
Next in is Logan. Riott Squad implosion gets spotlight, younger girls get a chance to shine, make sure they're going at it with intensity and throw in some good high spots.
Next in is Nattie. it becomes youth versus experience as the Squad temporarily have to align a bit to handle the vet, but also their egos get in the way as they want to eliminate each other so they keep fucking with Nattie's attempts to pin/submit them.
Next in is Asuka. She kicks everybody's ass. Eventually, the Squad are all down and it's her and Nattie (foreshadowing to Kabuki Warriors vs. Divas of Doom at Mania).
Asuka eliminates Nattie then gets gang rushed by the Squad who realize they need to work together to eliminate such a dangerous competitor.
Last in is Shayna. Asuka's slumped in the corner after the beatdown and watches her single-handedly eliminate the Squad back to back in real quick fashion.
Shayna gets ready to rush Asuka but gets the poison mist. Asuka goes in for the Asukalock but Shayna, because she's a submission magician, manages to blindly counter it into the Kirifuda Clutch and holds it until Asuka passes out.
Shayna wins.
Boom. A million times better.
