Oh my bad I thought you were saying it didn't belong because it's not a war movie, you're saying it doesn't belong in a top 25...correct?
But that's the thing man. You could spin it that the reason you put it at the bottom of your list is because out of all the war movies you've seen, this was the worst lol. That's how I did it, I think I came up with 17 and what's at the bottom were decent but not awesome war movies.
I think people should just submit what they can. If you can get to 25 without including movies you haven't seen oh well. Like I said, I came up with 17, that was all I could realistically put on that list without bullshitting lol.
Correct.
That's the thing though. I can create a top 10 list of action movies. Even number 10 is a great movie and I love it. Me doing a top 25 war movie list and including a war movie at 25 seems counterproductive. I know I am overthinking it but doesn't make much sense to do top 25 for this genre.
Honestly, I think for people like me and you it doesn't make much sense but then when you look @ the top 50 war movies on various sites, it's amazing how many war movies I haven't seen that I've heard of. I'm just not super into the genre but it's a gigantic genre. I mean I've never seen Hart's War, We Were Soldiers, Deer Hunter, these are huge movies. Thank God nobody born prior to 1960 doesn't post here or they'd easily be able to do a top 25 since their generation had 3 genres: War, War, and War.
Holy shit I forgot about Deer Hunter. I guess that has to be a war movie right?
