A lift is on the ground floor. There are four people in the lift including me.

It then goes up to the next floor up, no-one gets out but 12 people get in. Halfway up to the next floor up the lift cable snaps, it crashes to the floor. Everyone else dies in the lift. How did I survive?

Two prisoners are locked in a cell and for the purposes of this the guard has been called away to deal with something else and who knows when he’ll come back. They notice high up an unbarred window where they could climb up. However it’s too tall for them to get to if one climbed up on the other’s shoulders. There is a bed they can stand on but even with the two of them it’s still not enough. They try to dig a tunnel out but eventually decide this will take too long and they’re knackered plus the guard may come back and spot them eventually. One of them has a bright idea and they escape.

My name is Donald, and I will tell you a murderous tale.

Donald and other Avid mountain climbers paid a lot of money to be the first to scale a mountain. After several days of climbing they finally reached the Pinnacle and to their dismay found a cabin and three frozen bodies. Since Donald and his fellow climbers were the first people to ever climb this summit how could this be possible?
