I live above a star, and yet I never burn,
I have eleven neighbors, and yet none of them turn,
I am visited in sequence, first, last or in between,

Now, tell me what I mean.
You are the number 7 on a touch-tone telephone.
Two children, who were all tangled up in their reckoning of the days of the week, paused on their way to school to straighten matters out. "When the day after tomorrow is yesterday," said Priscilla, "then 'today' will be as far from Sunday as that day was which was 'today' when the day before yesterday was tomorrow!"
On which day of the week did this puzzling prattle occur?
This thread is making me want to start the Trivia Tournament back up.
Incorrect.
Glad I picked a tough one
Sunday?
I think...
You are correct, Fro. The children were so confused about the calendar that they were actually walking to school on a Sunday!
Post the next one.
During a baseball game in Mudville, Casey was Mudville's lead-off batter. There were no substitutions or changes in the batting order of the nine Mudville men throughout the nine-inning game. It turned out that Casey came to bat in every inning. What is the least number of runs Mudville could have scored?
19?
Wrong.
I believe that I am correct when I'm using the assumption that 6 batters is the most that can possibly hit without scoring?
24
They were leading and didn't bat in the bottom of the 9th.
WRONG
Hint: "came to bat" does not necessarily denote an official plate appearance.

If I did my math write. In the first inning, Casey and then the next two batters are walked, making the bases loaded, however, then the next three batters get out. When they come up again, it continues like this, with three walking and three getting out, allowing for Casey to be up in every inning.
If I got it right, I'll post a new Teaser first thing in the morning.
Ya, but you forgot to mention that after the 7, 8 and 9 batters walk in the second inning all three of them have to get picked off, thus leaving Casey at the plate to end the 2nd and start the 3rd.
There is a row of five houses, each having a different colour. In these houses live five people of various nationalities. Each of them nurtures a different beast, likes different drinks and smokes different brand of cigars.
The Brit lives in the Red house.
The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
The Dane drinks tea.
The Green house is on the left of the White house.
The owner of the Green house drinks coffee.
The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
The owner of the Yellow house smokes Dunhill.
The man living in the centre house drinks milk.
The Norwegian lives in the first house.
The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
The man who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.
The German smokes Prince.
The Norwegian lives next to the Blue house.
The man who smokes Blends has a neighbour who drinks water.
Who has fish at home?
The German, I reckon.
Might not be right. The chart I made is rather makeshift and it's 6am.
Yeah I think Vice is right.
Here's what I got, actually I'd better spoiler it so I don't ruin it for everyone else.
