Bushiroad acquires Stardom
The parent company of New Japan Pro Wrestling has purchased the Joshi promotion Stardom. This has been heavily rumored all week. That as well as the probably soon to follow announcement of NXT Japan.
There are no plans for integration between the two promotions. They will be kept separate.
Another thing of interest is that there are Stardom wrestlers working for AEW and AEW and NJPW are not on good terms.

how much overlap is there between the direct management in charge of the everyday operations of new japan and the general executives in bushiroad? cause it was a subsidiary of bushiroad that purchased stardom, and it seems the intent is to keep most of the management hierarchy already established in stardom in place. so i'm not sure anything particularly interesting regarding the AEW talent will happen.
