They made Buddy Murphy a focal point of the entire episode. Kudos to them for that. Heck of an effort by Reigns and commentary to get him over for the match itself, the scene in the locker room with Murphy, Bryan, and Rowan was incredible. Bryan made that segment and it felt like an evil gangster was collecting from an underling.

They've got three strong stories on that show now: Reigns/Bryan, Owens/Shane, and Kofi (New Day)/Orton (Revival).

Smackdown was great this week. It's not often we get a good RAW and smackdown in the same week.

I am liking what the are building towards. I wonder if they are going to run with Bayley vs Charlotte next? Seems like the obvious next step. I loved that Smackdown left us with a hook for next week. Orton looked like a beast, Revival looks like the next challengers for new day, and Buddy Murphy stole the show with Roman. Hopefully him and Cedric get nice pushes.

I bet Bryan just says that Reigns is the attacker because he panders to "you people" and Reigns has brainwashed the audience, basically bringing it on himself for change to be required...so Bryan acted on it.

He's pretty much the last of the alleged disgruntled group to get some shine: Revival got their title run and they just got one over on the Smackdown champs, Gallows and Anderson got paid and are the champs, Sasha is back and primed to be a big heel, and there's Harper.

If it were Harper, I'd presume an easy re-entry would be a tag match with Reigns and Murphy against Bryan and Rowan.

Something about Buddy Murphy's inclusion due to being seen in the background had me thinking.....Why don't we see more of that? Where wrestlers might be seen going to catering or just wandering around. Are we to assume that wrestlers aren't allowed to leave the lockerrom until it's time for their match?

More often than not the most obvious choice is the answer. Daniel Bryan and his schemes.
