There was some talk about adding an 8th squad player in between Xmas and New Year. Is that something people still want to happen? If so it would be a reverse draft so starting with whoever is bottom and working up and transfers would be banned during that time.
Maybe just open it up at a specific time so there's a mass move for players. That could be absolutely fucking brilliant.
I think it sounds good for that period only, but definitely in draft form only. It would be hard to be somewhere at a specific time to try and sign people, with work, life, kids etc. Then you miss out on something because you are taking kids swimming or working, for example, which doesn't seem fair!
Come on Jim are you taking this game seriously or not? Your kid can wait to eat for you to sign Aaron McLean.
If it's set in advance, then unless you're in an actual swimming pool/the sea/on a plane/underground, it can't be that hard to press COPY/PASTE/POST REPLY on your phone.
But then we pick the same player, who gets the player? I work on the road 3/4 days a week, so it isn't as simple as that for me. But I will do as I am told, I am good boy :-)

Whoever posts it first would get the player, obviously. If you can spend two hours doing slide tackles into thin air in Pro Clubs, you can spend five minutes writing a list of potential players that you'd like on your phone in advance of any pre-agreed time that suited the majority of people here.

If you are told weeks in advance of a time and you can’t do that exact time then you could leave a list with someone on here? I know one of Alex and I would def be free for example to do it for you.
I just don’t know why we would give more “evening out” halfway through the season to try and level it up more, which is what would happen if we were to do a draft from bottom up right now. It’s an extra squad place, I personally think it would be fun to give a time when everyone knows they can add a player, and see what happens from Minute 1. Who moves first type thing. If it’s another draft are we waiting four hours per pick again? Sounds boring to me tbh.
