From what I've seen, there hasn't really been much of a shift in WWE, creative wise. The show still lacks balls, it has the best roster it's ever had... yet it's still empty and devoid of energy.

I feel like RAW was definitely showing signs of a different show. Generally different approach to production, more edgy content, more mixing if storylines and characters. SmackDown didn't seem much different, though.
I'd guess this had more to do with the huge drop in ratings for week two than anything with creative.
The title of the thread is misleading and we really don't know the depth of Heyman and Bischoff's true power OR what their actual role behind the scenes consists of.....VINCE runs SD and Raw. Stephanie right beneath him. Bischoff is basically a middle man from the way he's talked about it a few months back on the 83 weeks podcast. Heyman I'm not sure is really ever going to get the keys to Raw, that was no different than when he was head of Smackdown's creative team 15 years ago.
Very little has changed but we all know why.
Hope less of vince when the XFL season starts
Wonder what caused the change. Curious.
