A Statement from the World Champion

"I am so thankful to all of the fans around the World. Your support fuels me and has brought a champion that everyone can be proud of. I never dreamed that I would get this honor so soon, but I am elated that I did. I showed that strength and experience may be good, but nothing beats faster and stronger than the heart. You gotta have heart, and mine got me here.

I can't wait to share this victory with everyone of you as well as my close friends on the Great White Way. I can't wait to get myself back to where I belong which is on stage and in the ring.

Though I am a little worse for wear, I promised to be a fighting champion and I will do so.

Bulldog has prove to be one hell of a competitor, and I feel that he may bring the best out of me as I do him.

The unfortunate fact for him is that my star shines brighter and my time in the spotlight has only just begun. You may be able to hang with me in the ring, but you don't have that spark... you don't have that it factor. You are good, but showed last week that you aren't good enough. I will do ANYTHING it takes to hold onto this precious Championship, and will stop at nothing to make sure that this is the only reign in this company's history.

When I get this defense out of the way, I am going to do everything I can to represent the company in the best light. So I plan to take on some auditions and really bring some shine back to the Broadway stage this fall.

Once again, thank you all. This story is only starting.

    BREAKING!

BATTLE PROJECT WRESTLING S01E03 CARD ANNOUNCEMENTS!

After being Pendulum'd through a ladder on Episode 2, Dominic Dust, who's increasing frustrations may have boiled over, has challenged Rip to a match! The Old Man has accepted with a bit of a sigh, not feeling he really has business with D3 at this point, but also certain it'll likely be mucked up by his current personal bane, the handsome stranger and his minions. With that in mind, Ripper has stipulated this be a CAGE MATCH to keep out the bullshit and to lock in, well, the other bullshit.

    CAGE MATCH
DOMINIC "THE DIAMOND" DUST vs. RIP

Headlockin' Harry feels like Gene Erik only got in his way on Episode 2 so he's demanded a one-on-one contest with Jonathan Caito, who was quick to accept!

This interview was uploaded to Battle Project Wrestling's social media platforms. It is a split screen interview between BPW interviewer Ami Matsumoto and Jonathan Caito...

Jonathan, I want to thank you for taking the time to answer a few questions this morning.

Not a problem Ami, surely wouldn't want to offend any opponents this week.

Let's start there, if we may. Last week, you took on "Headlockin'" Harry and Gene Erik in a match where some say the result was never really in doubt. How confident were you going into the match, and how does it feel to have your first match back in years under your belt?

My confidence is based on my abilities, and when you look at my win-loss record in the variety of matches with the variety of opponents that I have had, it is fair to say that confidence was not going to be an issue. As for the match itself, while those two are certainly not on my level, they are at the very least better than sparring partners.

If they, in your mind, are not up to your level, what does it make you think when Harry, the man you pinned, has challenged you to a one on one match?

A shrug of dismissal is clear before Jonathan begins speaking.

I am going to guess that he is going to say that it was a fluke, how Gene screwed up his plan. If the man wants to get his ass kicked again, I think my history will show that I have no problem indulging him for another go. I'm sure someone has thought I have sadistic tendencies in my career. I certainly wouldn't want to disappoint.

If this match goes your way, what would be the next step, the next goal for you in BPW?

Ami, when you have put in the time that I have in this industry, you learn to pay attention to everything. I will say though, that there is a match that has certainly caught my eye. I would be amiss to be busy while it was occurring.

If I may, I cannot help but think that would be the Dust versus Rip matchup, both of them like you, coming in from the R-Feds.

A slight intake of breath, minimal head nodding, and to those who look closely, a slight turn of a nondescript expression into the smallest of smirks.

    Rip is an old friend.....

Thank you for your time Ami.

    History Repeats Itself

Dominic "The Diamond" Dust sits in his armchair watching old promos of his; the one that really caught his attention most was his first promo in ROR.

So here we are time has moved on from that day and what's changed? Nothing!

I watch it back and I realise now that the ignorance is still bliss in this world we live in, I still get ignored, I still get shun out and why? Why do they ignore me so?

Rip doesn't want to get involved again but why? He has his hands full with this other mysterious enemy whom has some vendetta against him, wow that's thrilling stuff really hope Rip doesn't get a heart attack from all this excitement, must be great knowing he matters so much to so many people.

Dominic looks back now at the time Rip dropped him on his head on the Land Rover in their first encounter.

I requested this match so people would remember me, I requested this match because I want it to be my time to shine in the spotlight, I wanted this match because it defines everything I stood for in the beginning and that was ridding this world of jokers, the time has come now for a new generation, yes I didn't get the job done the first time around but this time it's different this time it really does matter and you will never forget "The Diamond" and yes you may bet on that.

This will be my finest hour as I watch you hang your head in shame and make you realise that you will never be a diamond and that you will never be a champion. I look forward to it Ripper, I look forward to seeing the world fall at your feet and I look forward to you finally admitting you should've never underestimated Dominic "The Diamond" Dust and that you should never have forgotten me.

Lastly Dominic watches Jonathan Caito's interview.

It's fine to ignore me for now Jonathan, but there will be a time and a place where we will meet again and then you will never forget Dominic "The Diamond" Dust believe me when I tell you this, that I am the one that lives on forever...farewell for now Jonathan "Fucking" Caito.

Dominic looks over now at a clock sitting above the fireplace ticking louder and louder as he hears it.

The end of time is upon us, this fight was always inevitable...Rip it's time to realise the pendulum will soon stop swaying and all that shall be left is Dust.

    Fade To Darkness.

Eyes down, sweat running, breath drawn.

Jonathan's mind is clear, his focus a singular entity.

He briefly brings his head up to stare at the bar in front of him. His current goal, clear and attainable.

His long game..... clear as well.

Whether or not it is attainable, is up to him.

Again he ducks his head, stepping forward with his hands up, reaching.

BPW sent the contract for the impending show. He will be "locked" in against Headlockin' Harry. After that, Caito has his own vision, his own path.

With a long drawn intake of breath, Jon straightens his body. The bar's weight adds to the burden he normally carries, as he takes several steps back, readying his body.

Battle Project Wrestling is in it's infancy. As such, they have never seen a force quite like him.

Nevertheless, even that force can be intrigued by other matches on the card.

    Jonathan has found that match....

His gaze straightaway, the perspiration still running, Jon takes one more breath, before lowering not only his body, but the barbell, and the burden it carries.....

    1......

*Ami Matsumoto is waiting outside a side room off the BPW ballroom. The sign on the door behind her reads ‘Don Piano – owner’. Suddenly the door opens and ‘Dangerous’ Johnny Dollar walks out with a determined yet confident look on his face.*

Ami – Mr Dollar, would you like to comment on why you’re here today?
I’ve just signed my part of the contract for the tag match I’m in on the next event.

Oh, you and Cypher teaming up against Rex King and Dreg Voderoy? Do you have anything to-
Yes, I’ve got a lot to get off my chest! First of all, Rex, you may think you’re getting the easy way out by hiding behind a gorilla, but you will not escape from my clutches, you will not escape the Silver Dollar and you will not kick out of the Silver Dollar! And Dreg, what an appropriate name for someone who is and looks like the dregs of humanity. My friend Cypher took you down after he’d already had a gruelling match against the Calamari Kid, can you imagine what he’s going to do to you, to both of you, when he’s fresh?

It’s the first time you’ve teamed up with Cypher, do you see any problems in the pairing?
Not at all! Ms St.Croix has drilled co-operation into us and to that end we had a couple of bonding sessions to find out about each other. I took him gambling in a rival casino, he took me drinking in his favourite dive bar. I helped him fight off security after he was caught cheating with the cards I gave him, he helped me fight off a group of bikers after he ‘accidentally’ knocked my drink all over the biggest one. And you know what, Ami? It made me realise. We complement each other perfectly. I have the speed, agility, and the mentality of a ring General, and Cypher has the power, brawn, and sadistic streak. Rex and Dreg are about to find out they are facing two wrestlers who work as a well-oiled machine.

Now Ami, I’ve got to go because I parked across two disabled spaces when I came here, but I need to free them up so Rex and Dreg can use them after we’re done with them at the next event!

*Dollar strides away as Ami knocks on the door of Don Piano’s office and the camera fades out.*

Sorry guys. I thought I would have time to get a promo in, but this and last week I've been busy with the Mafia Championship trying to pick semi-finalists. Today's the final day, so I'll try to get something up tomorrow if mth doesn't post the show by then.

    BATTLE PROJECT WRESTLING S01E03

BPW's third episode opens with a video package running down tonight's card with highlights of the events from the first two episodes. The BPW opening follows before we head out to the raucous crowd in the Piano Family Ballroom! Molly Jacobs and Darius Woods welcome us to the show and remind us that the new BPW Champion, Kris Destiny, defends his title against Bulldog Bobby Baines. Then the camera pans up to show the cage suspended among the chandeliers high above the ring for tonight's match between Dominic “The Diamond” Dust and Rip as our commentary team speculates on what might happen within. They then bring up the “#FarFromHomeIncident” that's had social media on fire all weekend...

    ----

Compilation footage captured by cellphones airs showing Cypher attending a showing of “Spider-Man: Far From Home” this past weekend. The footage also shows that Dreg Volderoy also attended that same showing and while it's unclear what exactly sparked things off, their seemingly unending fight was rekindled right there in the movie theater! Popcorn and fists were flying as the two brawlers went at it just as the previews were playing. A poison mist of sorts of soda from Cypher granted him enough time to make a break for it but Dreg soon caught up to him at the concession stand where glass counters were broken, candy spilled, and a poor worker got a face full of scalding melted butter! Eventually security and police arrived to break up the chaos.

    ----

Molly Jacobs tells us that Don Piano was “this close” to firing them both but we'll hear from Vanessa St. Croix later on about her meeting with the boss!

    ----

Rip makes his unscheduled entrance to the roar of the crowd, a mic in hand, his eyes on the cage. He reiterates that Dust seems to be poking the bear for no real reason and that he has better things to do before referring to the handsome stranger and his minions with a few words that would peel paint off the wall. He also reminds Dust that he put him through a ladder and that really should have been a period on the end of the sentence but for some reason Dom thinks it was just a comma. “So Piano, I'm beggin' ya to drop that cage right now so we can stick a fork in this.” Rip nods with satisfaction as the cage begins to lower and our first match is underway...

    ----

    CAGE MATCH (ESCAPE ONLY)
DOMINIC “THE DIAMOND” DUST vs. RIP

Dominic strolls out looking unusually confidant going into what should no doubt be a brutal confrontation with a very grumpy and violent man. He takes his sweet time getting down to the ring, inspects the cage in great detail, goes over the rules with the referee a few times, as Rip paces like a locked up dog and the crowd spits venom in his direction. Finally he's in the ring and the door is locked with the only way for either man to win is by climbing up over the top of the cage. Dom raises a finger for Rip to wait and then seems to motion for something or someone. He looks a bit rattled when nothing happens and he gestures again, shouting, “Aaaaannd NOW!” Again nothing and Rip has had enough, barreling towards The Diamond Standard, he floors him with a clothesline. Ripper begins to lay a beating on D3, tossing him repeatedly into the chainlink. A German suplex follows before he hoists him up, looking for an early Pendulum! Dust slips down the back, however, and delivers a forearm to the groin! He then looks around frantically and begins to shout once more as though expecting something or someone. An exasperated sigh precedes him trying to climb the cage but Ripper gets to his feet and in a similar fashion to the ladder match, pulls him off the cage by the foot, catching him on his back, and sends him crashing down with a Pendulum! Now it's Ripper who seems to be looking around in expectation but when nothing seems to stir, he begins to scale the cage. The ballroom's lights flicker as he reaches the top then darkness overtakes the arena. When the lights return, the ring is surrounded by the masked minions! Rip seems to be chuckling and takes a few sideways steps towards the corner of the cage. After fiddling in the top support, he produces a yellow and black crowbar to the roar of the crowd! He seats himself on the top of the cage and beckons the hooded figures to “come on in, the water's fine!”. Unfortunately for him, Dom has begun to work his way up the opposite side of the cage. Rip finally looks back to see Dom at the apex only to give a surprising shrug before turning back to the suit-clad stable below, he flips them a familiar finger...and drops off onto them! The Old Man took a dive and half a dozen men crumple beneath him! The bell rings and this one is over! But wait, it was Dominic on the other side who's feet hit first!

    WINNER BY ESCAPE: DOMINIC DUST

Dust's victory doesn't even register with Rip as he gets to his feet, trying to shake out his bad knee, as he raises his crowbar. Dom slips out into the crowd as Rip begins to swing his weapon at his enigmatic adversaries, successfully lyaing out half of them while holding the other half at bay. The handsome stranger appears at the top of the stage with a grin and a round of applause. Rip grabs a mic at ringside, demanding we cut through the bullshit, “I don't know who you are or why you're doing this but I frankly I ran out of fucks to give a long time ago, son, so you and me, let's do this, yeah?” Ripper rushes up the ramp only for an additional half dozen of the minions to emerge from the curtain. Even with his equalizer, the numbers soon become too much and Ripper fins himself weaponless and being stomped into a heap. Suddenly there is a roar from the crowd as one of the minions crumbles, standing behind him is a chair-wielding Jonathan Caito! The handsome stranger wags a disapproving finger at Caito before slipping away behind his cronies. Caito manages to deliver a few more chairshots to chase off the group before helping Rip to his feet. A grateful fistbump from Ripper before he heads to the back leaves Caito alone for his own match...

    ----

    JONATHAN CAITO vs. HEADLOCKIN' HARRY

Caito clearly did his homework as he turns around every attempted headlock from the Cranium Crusher such as rolling him up for a pin or dropping him to the mat with a back suplex. It doesn't take long before he hoists him high and drops him with The Last Stand to get the quick victory.

    WINNER BY PINFALL: JONATHAN CAITO

    ----

We cut backstage to find Ami Matsumoto standing by with Vanessa St. Croix, “Dangerous” Johnny Dollar, and Cypher! Vanessa discusses the “#FarFromHomeIncident” and says Dreg can thank her for paying his bail and goes on to mention her recent meeting with Don Piano which has led to the first official match for Midway Madness: Cypher will meet Dreg Volderoy in a Falls Count Anywhere Match! She then addresses tonight's tag team match, noting Rex King sure had a lot to say on the first episode but has fallen suspiciously silent since, and assures victory for her clients and embarrassment for their opposition. She says they will celebrate with a private showing of “Spider-Man: Far From Home” as she's rented out the entire theater exclusively for the three of them.

    ----

We then cut to Part-Time Pete backstage with “Matchstick” Noah Flint. They begin to discuss Flint's debut match tonight when Dominic “The Diamond” Dust comes down the hallway. Despite looking worse for wear, he seems jubilant and trumpets about the fact that he defeated Rip in the cage and cannot be ignored. Flint mutters under his breath and catches D3's attention. When asked to repeat himself, Flint states clearly that there was a reason he left Dust out of his videos, because he “forgot on purpose”. Dust scoffs and says that if the kid even lasts, he'll eventually see the world through diamond eyes, just like everyone else.

    ----

“MATCHSTICK” NOAH FLINT vs. SCOTTY “BANG BANG” CHANG

Chang enters first and gets on the mic. He says that while Flint never made it to the R-feds and therefore never faced any of the legends, he has beaten them all (in video games, of course). After Flint enters, he takes the mic and reminds Scotty that he's right, he was not in the R-feds, and therefore was obviously not in those video games, which means while Chang may be very familiar with all those big names, he's completely unfamiliar with “Matchstick” Noah Flint...but he's about to change that. The bell rings and the match quickly becomes a showcase for the newcomer as he controls the match with speed and technical proficiency. Chang manages to turn things around with an eye-rake when the ref isn't looking but after a failed attempt at a corner splash, Flint regains control and scores a big tornado DDT after running off the buckles. Suddenly the crowd erupts with boos as Dominic Dust saunters down the ramp! He shuffles a deck of cards as he approaches the ring. Flint tries to stay focused as Dust stands on the apron but when he gets close the cards explode from his hands in a cloud! In the confusion of cards fluttering about, Chang rolls up Flint and gets the pin!

    WINNER BY PINFALL: SCOTTY CHANG

Scotty celebrates up the ramp like he's won the SuperBowl as Dominic gets into the ring with a mic. He steps up to an incensed Noah Flint, raising the mic to speak, but instead belts him in the face with it! A few more vicious shots with the mic follow, each booming over the ballroom's speakers, before he drags Flint up off the mat by the hair. This time he speaks, “Johnny Dollar...Rex King...I told you...I have a cutter, too!” Diamond Cutter! Dust drops Flint face first to the canvas and leaves him laying among the scattered playing cards as he heads to the back.

    ----

CYPHER & “DANGEROUS” JOHNNY DOLLAR (w/ Vanessa St. Croix) vs. DREG VOLDEROY & REX “THE ONE TRUE” KING

While the opposition make separate entrances, Vanessa St. Croix leads her team out united. Unfortunately, as soon as they reach ringside, Volderoy hurtles through the ropes with a suicide dive onto Cypher! For a moment it seems the never-ending fight has resumed until all others involved in this match eventually manage to separate the two and get things back to a point where the bell can be rung. The match manages to go on for several minutes thanks to King and Dollar being the legal men as King focuses his attacks on Dollar's neck and Dollar does all he can to withstand and counter his strategy. Eventually, King looks for the Divine Right but Dollar shoves him away, right into a big forearm shot from Cypher, a Whipcrack kick from Dollar follows and he gets a two count. Dollar pulls him up off the mat and lifts him up for the Silver Dollar! King slips out the back and dives towards his corner...but Dreg is not there for the tag! He's at ringside getting into a verbal spat with a cluster of fans! Based on their signs and t-shirts, these are Cypher fans and they've been heckling Dreg the entire match! One of them says too much and Dreg's heard enough! He yanks the fans shirt over his head and pulls him over the barrier! Suddenly Cypher comes barreling around the ring and tackles Cypher over the barricade and into the fans! Meanwhile, in the ring, an exasperated King turns around..right into a Silver Dollar! Johnny pins him for the win!

WINNERS BY PINFALL: JOHNNY DOLLAR & CYPHER

The Cypher/Dreg brawl in the crowd has now snowballed into something worse as a handful of fans, each aligned to their preferred brawler, have taken sides and have attempted to assist their chosen wrestler in the fight! Dreg spinebusters a Cypher fan through a table! Cypher blasts a Dreg fan with The Mist! Dreg blasts another Cypher fan with a discus elbow! Cypher's gotten out his brass knuckles and drops two more Dreg fans with Who Spiked The Punch?! Don Piano suddenly appears on stage with a mic and demands they stop immediately or face termination! Before he can continue, however, Vanessa St. Croix pushes the mic aside to talk to him inaudibly. Piano says only one more word into the mic: “Security!” and as they escort the two men away, he and Vanessa head backstage to continue their discussion.

    ----

    BPW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
“MR. BROADWAY” KRIS DESTINY vs. BULLDOG BOBBY BAINES

It's a battle of a new generation as two newer faces on the scene go toe to toe for the Battle Project Wrestling Championship! Before the two make their entrances, however, someone else makes his way out to the commentary table: Jonathan Caito! The R-fed superstar talks up the two young talents as they each make their way to the ring. The match is a classic strength-versus-speed contest as Baines tries to control the Champion with his power and Destiny tries to out maneuver with his quickness and agility. Caito points out that neither man really has an experience advantage. Both men do well to show that while they might not have the years under their belts that Caito does, they can still go, and this one has the fans on the edge of their seats. After several minutes of seesaw action, Destiny comes off the top with a flying crossbody but Baines catches him and hoist him up into a running powerslam! A long two count is almost a victory for the former strong man who then gets into a three-point stance, he looks for the running shoulder tackle but Destiny leapfrogs him and he crashes into the corner! Getting To Know You! Destiny dumps the big man on his head with the combination suplex! He looks for Heaven On Their Minds! But no! Baines catches him and tosses him towards the ropes! But Destiny springboards off with a crossbody! But Baines rolls through into a pin of his own for a two count! He picks up the Champion and grabs hold, looking fro the Teardrop Suplex! Destiny flips out the back...Heaven On Their Minds to the back on the head! Destiny makes the pin and gets the win!

WINNER BY PINFALL AND STILL BPW CHAMPION: KRIS DESTINY

Destiny celebrates in the ring to the roar of the crowd as Caito stands to applaud at ringside. By the time the Champ is ready to go get his belt, Caito is already in the ring to hand it to him. An uneasy Mr. Broadway takes his belt and raises it to the delight of the fans as Caito stands aside to give him his props. Just before exiting the ring, Caito points to the Champ, then himself, then raises six fingers before giving a smile and nod and heading to the back. Destiny holds his title in the ring as our announces can only assume we've just witnessed a possible challenge for the Champ at Midway Madness and we fade to black.

A recorded statement by the Champion after his first defense.

    Mr. Caito.

You decided that you want an opportunity at becoming the champion. That is all fine and good. I am willing to take on all comers no matter what, and you will prove to be a most formidable opponent.

One thing I need to make sure you don't do again is take my spotlight. That was my moment after my big defense. That was my chance to bow and thank the fans for their support and show them that I will continue to fight for them, for myself, and for this company. You took it upon yourself to upstage me throughout that contest. That, sir, does not fly well with me.

You see, I fought through my time training as an actor, an artist, and a wrestler. I went through all of the hell one could. I faced every sort of piece of garbage person that you can who told me that I wasn't good enough for what I did or that I didn't fit the mold correctly.

Be more gay, you aren't tall enough, you aren't strong enough, you haven't paid your dues.

Trust me, I have been through the ringer and I have paid my dues to get to this spot whether you agree or not. I am where I am at now because of my hard work. I put the time in night in and night out whether it is eight nights a week on stage or early in the morning in the ring to become better at what I do. To become better at EVERYTHING I do.

It takes more than having a big name and some clout to get to the top, and I know that better than everyone.

You have this experience and this name, and while that is all fine and good. Nothing beats hard work and pure talent. I have shown that I have what it takes to be on top here, and I don't plan to let this title get into the hands of someone who I am sure could care less about this place, and more about the number of items on his trophy case. I take pride in representing this company, and I will take pride in taking this opportunity from you when the time comes.

I am not going down without a fight. I have always been scrappy. I work in show business, I have to be.

Ep. 4's gonna be a few weeks out as I'll be going on vacation Aug. 3-11. Hope to have the whole card announced before I go. I think I might also be sending out Q&A interviews for everyone this week to help people get something posted.
Midway Madness has started taking shape and will continue the next couple episodes. When we get there, the plan will be to assess how things are going, what everyone's doing, participation, etc., to determine if/how the rest of the season will progress.

    BREAKING
BATTLE PROJECT WRESTLING S01E04 CARD ANNOUNCEMENT!

Johnny Dollar and Rex King heard and saw Dominic Dust's reminder that he, too, has a cutter in his arsenal and so they've agreed there's room for three this week in the on-going battle for cutter superiority!

    TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
DOMINIC "THE DIAMOND" DUST vs. "DANGEROUS" JOHNNY DOLLAR (w/ Vanessa St. Croix) vs. REX "THE ONE TRUE" KING

Rip has demanded a match with the handsome stranger and but he'll have to wait a little longer because for now, he's up against three of his minions! Fortunately Don Piano has allowed Ripper to pick two partners for the contest and The Old Man has made two dynamite selections: BPW Champion Kris Destiny and his Midway Madness challenger, Jonathan Catio!

    SIX-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
RIP & "MR. BROADWAY" KRIS DESTINY & JONATHAN CAITO
    vs.
THREE MASKED MINIONS (w/ The Handsome Stranger)

"Matchstick" Noah Flint came up short in his debut thanks to a little 52 Card Pick-up from Dominic Dust. He's looking to make second chances count in a rematch with Scotty Chang.

"MATCHSTICK" NOAH FLINT vs. SCOTTY "BANG BANG" CHANG

Bulldog Bobby Baines failed to capture the BPW Championship on two occasions and now finds himself on a path of redemption as he starts back at the bottom.

BULLDOG BOBBY BAINES vs. HEADLOCKIN' HARRY

And finally, the Neverending Fight has to be put on pause between the bells in a test of focus for the two savage brawlers as Cypher and Dreg Volderoy find themselves in a strange situation: as tag team partners. In a bit of an odd form of punishment from Don Piano, the two have to try to get along and achieve a shared goal. Can complete chaos become cohesive coexistence long enough to win this match?

    TAG TEAM MATCH
CYPHER (w/ Vanessa St. Croix) & DREG VOLDEROY vs. SQUIDMASK & GENE ERIK
...and don't forget, our hell-raising halfway sixth-episode spectacular, Midway Madness is just around the corner...

BATTLE PROJECT WRESTLING S01E06 aka MIDWAY MADNESS

    BPW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
"MR. BROADWAY" KRIS DESTINY vs. JONATHAN CAITO

    FALLS COUNT ANYHERE MATCH
CYPHER (w/ Vanessa St. Croix) vs. DREG VOLDEROY

...and much more to still be announced!

I’m cool with the questions. I haven’t had much of an opportunity to get in and write out promos after work, so I’ll take a look and go from there with them mth.

Not going to have time to do the Q&A stuff, too busy getting ready for the trip and working the next two days. Was hoping to send out individualized "interviews" like I did before the ladder match but you're on your own, my babies...

    Perhaps the inevitable is coming.

Maybe, the time is drawing near....

I don't have or keep many friends in this industry. One of them is holed up somewhere in Nova Scotia. Even I don't know exactly where he has been staying lately.

The there is Rip, and his family.

A family that stuck themselves out for me behind the scenes in a way I could never explain, and could never fully repay.

So when he needs a hand, your damn right that I will be there for him

Was this an unexpected twist of the night for most? I am sure. I doubt many expected this card to turn into the Jonathan Caito variety hour, but you know what?

For my friend, any of you that have an issue with it, can go fuck yourself.

Which brings me to Mr. Destiny....

Kris, if I were you, I was ringside for your match because I wanted to watch you. Watch both of you, Baines included.

I don't care about your spotlight, and I am not interested in stealing it.

    It's your title I want.

    And I will have it.

I havent been on the boards much the last couple weeks. My fault. I am going to try to get one more up tomorrow, but I am flying out Wednesday night for Northern Ireland on vacation, so I am not positive if I will be able to get something up while I am abroad.

    A Statement from the champion

"Caito and I will be in the same ring along with the man known as Rip.

Rip is a different matter entirely, I am happy to help with any issues that anyone has.

You Caito. You will not have this title because it not only belongs to me, but it belongs to the fans.

I promise, that you will need to take me through hell to earn this title.

I will not go gentle into that good night.

I have defied gravity and I have soared. This journey is not going to end at your hand. Not while I am still breathing"

*A new video appears on the BPW website!*

Johnny Dollar is shown recording a selfie while sitting up on a sunlounger in a tropical resort, flanked by Vanessa St. Croix and Cypher, both lying on their front and working on their tans. Several cocktail glasses are strewn around their loungers, suggesting they've been there a while...
Dollar: To paraphrase a great man, They say all men are created equal, but you look at me and you look at Dominic Dust, and you realise that statement is not true! See, normally if you go one on one with another wrestler, you got a 50/50 chance of winning. But I'm genetically better than you, and I'm not normal! So you got a 25%, AT BEST, chance of beating me. Then you add Rex King to the mix, your chances of winning drastically go down. See the triple threat at episode 4, you got a 33.3% chance of winning, but I've got a 66.6% chance of winning because Rex King KNOWS he can't beat me and he's not even gonna try!
So, Dusty boy, step into my ring when me next meet and I will only be too glad to show you and Rex King that the Silver Dollar is the one, true cutter in this buisness and then you can go carry on whatever pathetic squabble you were concerned with before, while I continue my ascent towards my rightful place at the top of the food chain.

To be honest, I don't know if I can do it. I know it's relatively low maintenance, but every time I think I have time to put something up, there was always some kind of higher priority thing I had to take care of. And now I'm back on school, so that'll only get worse.

I can definitely get some content out if you want to at least have us get to Midway Madness. Have some kind if logical point of conclusion.

OCC: I've been a bit busier with my work schedule and juggling new baby responsibility has taken my participation down below where I'd like to be. If we do continue I will try to be more involved. This last month has been one of the most hectic in my life. I think what you and everyone has done is great though.

If this is indeed the end then what a fitting end it was, I mean to begin my story with Rip and end it with Rip I couldn't have wished for a better end the guy is a genius and it was a shame we never had the promo war we once had but I don't care it still meant something to me so thank you Rip and thank you mth for making it happen.
