Look, I don't think this day is gonna go anywhere else other than Badger or Rip. The Stan wagon's dead in the water, and I don't think anyone's comfortable voting Knee. Those are probably the only top lynch candidates. So everyone pick your side and let's not let this meander into a no lynch by tomorrow.

Frank has been active in every phase so far.
Barry targeted BBF night 2.
Notably, Gail and Kelly have not had their stance revealed despite their activity night 2.
Otis has not appeared in any writeup, but I guess he could be the secret voter.
I can see it being one of two things. Either those roles have targeted scum players. Which would really make me suspicious of you Soldier. This would explain the absence of Kelly and Gail (they targeted a confirmed townie) and potentially explain Otis if he's the double voter.
Or those are the in game roles of me, Psycho, Badger, kdestiny, Kangus, Wardy and Rip. The people that voted to lynch Knee.
Now, I'm only one data point but the latter checks out with me. Does anyone else have a thought on that?

I doubt that it would be whomever targeted scum. I feel like that could be a bit too lopsided for the story-telling. I'm thinking either he chose some flavor names to throw out as an example of alignments being revealed, or that it was the people that voted Knee. If we're talking the latter, than that would mean Anne is somewhere in that group of people. Who that would be? I don't know. But unless it was specifically role-related and mechanically meant to do that, giving away that there was definitely a scum on a wagon would be a bit bastard-like.
That said, we don't know how Frank operates exactly.
So if you subscribe to the "targeted scum" theory, I assume I'm your target. What does it tell you if it's all the people who voted Knee?
Thinking on it, I know it can't be "who targeted scum" because we didn't get a Kelly reveal, and I'm town. So yeah, that theory's out.
If it's targeted scum, you're the Nexus point for most of it. Then BBF, then JP. So yeah, I'd be voting for you instantly. I'm not sold on that though.

I think it would be very strange for the alignment of night roles to be revealed because of day actions. I've never heard of that before.

Okay, it’s a good thought (and just confirmed) but it means my Knee theory is wrong. Why would Frank cancel a lynch he was part of?
What’s the vote count?
It could have potentially been someone who wanted to see who would follow along with the Lynch so we could get the vote pattern without actually lynching Knee. I had considered this initially following the vote.
Also, if the theory is correct and they knew the vote count would reveal the alignments of those on it, that would be a great way to get seven clears or a POE guaranteed to have scum.
That said, I don't remember anyone on that wagon coming in to say we should Lynch someone on the Knee train, so chances are Frank didn't know the full ramifications.

Nobody has targeted me, so from night analysis and spreadsheeting I'm not cleared from any roles. However the fact that I've basically revealed my identity and nobody is counterclaiming or disputing that I do not work on the Other Railway should say something.

The other side of it is, if in fact the names on the knee lynch were revealed by the game event, we have a nice 6 townie voting block with one scum tag along. That mean town roles are running short for those who aren't in this group.

I think now that we have at least some alignments, it's ultimately better to get a Lynch, lest we leave ourselves for another day of potentially no important info.
I'm assuming your guns are the original Lynch options you gave .e when I asked. What's your gut saying?
I know I said a vote for Badger is anti-town, but that doesn't mean every person who votes that way is suspect #1 for me. I could be completely wrong, and if Badger flips red, I'll gladly eat crow, back off Rip and reassess.
However, I do still believe Badger to be clean and that Rip will end up scum. If it comes down to it for the sake of getting a Lynch, I'll swap, but Rip is by and far my first choice.

Well the only folk close to clear on my list are you and kdestiny. I don't have a clue where to start reading vote patterns to I've basically been letting others do the work for me. Out of those two I'd say Badger because of his slip up that might not have been an actual slip up.

Also got a feeling Knee is Frank and clear.
When it comes to vote analysis, the basics of it is "These people always/usually voted for scum so probably clean, whereas THESE people consistently voted town and/or avoided scum wagons.". That's a start. Since we only have one scum flip, it's a bit harder, but if nothing else that should give you a good feeling about the ones voting Virm.
Then just look at obvious spots. Such as Badger's 7th vote on Virm. Do you think scum would risk voting their partner that close to a hammer based on little evidence? Or do you think his unvote shows he was hesitant to do so in the first place?
That's just an example, really, but those are the sort of things you would look for.
Or if worse comes to worse, go with your gut between which of Badger and Rip you find more scummy.

To be honest I’m becoming increasingly confident that Psycho is scum, he’s more than sharp enough to work out who I am, to be honest I’m blown away if anyone hasn’t yet with a little bit of thought.
Badger dropped the ball, Mafia 101 is lynch him for it and check the fall out, it’s very odd for a knowledgeable player like Psycho to go so hard against it, in any normal situation I’d say it’s a weak scum player defending one of his own but Psycho is such a strong player I’m dumbfounded if he’s doing that, unless it’s a double bluff type move in which case I have to tip my hat to him for the balls to try it.
If Badger flips town then mia culpa but I can’t fathom ignoring such a blatant slip, it sets a very dangerous precedent for future games, that kind of action is an ill wind that blows nobody any good in the long run.

There's almost always a slip that someone makes in this game. If it wasn't Badger, you wouldn't be all over it like this. Whether you're town or scum, Badger gets read with a microscope because of opentelling and silly mistakes he's made before.
If you realize that and you're saying he deserves because of some trial by fire idea, I don't agree with that thought process, because. Regardless of alignment, Badger is obviously already cursing himself for fucking up, especially as he got really close to a Lynch yesterday. Do you think he absolutely needs to be lynched just to set an example?
My stance is if people can't nut up and fix these mistakes, then they are doomed to be eternally mislynched and perfect fodder for Scum to manipulate and Townies to analyze. That's on them. But if I think a townie is making the mistake, then I'm not voting them. Plain and simple.

If I thought you were town, yes. Did you see me call out where I thought JP had almost the exact same perspective slip as Badger before Badger ever made that mistake? I questioned him on it, then ultimately decided he's probably town. I still think that even the my paranoia and hard townreads put him in the POE. I currently get the feeling it'd be too obvious if you two were partnered, but I don't doubt there could be one scum between you. But I'm not crucifying him for the perspective slip because I doubt him for other things.

I have one idea that nails you as town, and another that nails you as unknown, likely town or neutral. Unless I'm in the completely wrong track and I need to read back.
I want everyone to consider something. A few years back, every time I tried lynch Rip when he was scum, he managed to talk his way out of it with enough chaff from his partners and it was delayed a day or two. I honestly don't like the mystery Rip vote the more I think about it, and I think I get what he's saying now(even though he still wouldn't be confirmed town yet). I also think this will be a slow crawl to a hammer on both sides that just won't come to a conclusion before deadline. So in the interest of moving things along and keeping things "simple", I'll go with Badger.
I still don't like it, but at least he'll provide plenty of info. If he flips green, hard look into JP and Pablo with a side-eye at Rip until otherwise confirmed. If he flips red...well, things kind of flip on it's head for me.

@wardy : was your character's alignment revealed? Because right now I'm at 4/7 (Me, Psycho, Kangus, Kdestiny) of the people on the Knee vote indicating that their status was revealed. Rip is indicating the opposite. 3 could be coincidence. 4 is a majority but with a vote against I'm less certain. 5 would be straining credibility.
Or anyone whose character alignment was revealed along with Frank and Anne that didn't vote for Knee.
I thought it was my gut but it turned out to be indigestion.

Rip's crumbs are a bit more concrete, where as Badger's was to a role we're not sure we've even seen yet. That doesn't mean he's lying, but I could see why you wouldn't catch it. He kept saying he has his eye on different things, so he's likely a tracker or watcher
Yeah, that I caught. The closest to that was Anne and ya know probably not a good idea to breadcrumb a scumbag.
It could possibly be Martina as well, or for some reason he didn't act until N3, but I doubt that. Maybe even Kelly if she's town. But considering his crumb came before alignment reveals, I suppose it's possible he thought he could get away with crumbing a scum role. But yeah, I think unless it was related to scum roles, they were just as in the dark about how the alignment reveal would work as we were. So then it would rely on the fact that Badger crumbed because he thought crumbing looked townie, and it could never backfire on him.
In general, I think it's unlikely he flips as Anne, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out it went down that way.
