I'm learning from my mistakes. This is only my third game after all.

I think the reasoning is that, assuming everyone is mafia (DTA), we can afford to give a newer player immunity because they're (I'm) still likely to make an arse of it. Give an experienced player immunity and they could make us pay.

But if a "good" player gets immunity, there is nothing stopping us for finding out about them. We can cop them, track (or watch whichever it is), block them. There are ways to get info.
We just have a chance to keep multiple strong people around for longer. As opposed to almost wasting it going with someone not high on scums kill list.

Rip I'm getting a soft town vibe on, which isn't my normal immediate take on Rip.
CWE and kdestiny are the two I'm cautious of. There's a chance you got a bite with your Badger fishing. Hypothetically, if I had messed up as scum and placed a self-vote, I would try to cover my tracks in almost the exact same way CWE has acted since. If this is how it ends up, our Doc and Cop have some work to do, as he's too dangerous not to see who he is, but too good to leave unprotected. That fucking self-vote.

Kotreis on my list of people of interest due to his random late vote for me. Seems like someone trying to cover their tracks.
Because basically when you're invisible the benefit you get is that people can't find out, especially when the thread is very active, whether or not you've heard the latest bit of info. Then it doesn't matter if you don't make a decision and vote or not.
Which is something you couldn't do if we actually were all together in a room playing the game. Obviously it still comes down to the chance of someone seeing you online viewing the thread. But you're basically getting a "spy" bonus.

About 3.5 hours left. I haven't heard much in the way of ending the phase early, so I'll probably just let it run the full time and try to have the write-up ready to plug in a name and post while I'm at work.
I can't remember the last time I was visible, probably somewhere in the range of 10-15 years ago. The invisibility cloak is nice and warm.

Really the only person acting questionable to me is JP so far.
His over the top reaction to CWE voting for himself to get immunity for basically 3 phases is very bizzare. There's no way for the town to lose that early because we failed to kill any mafia member. We can definitely lose if we kill all our cops and doctors by then, but even if a scum gets themselves the immunity for this short time it's nothing that can win themselves the game.
For a vet like he is, he should know this.

DAY ONE RESULTS
While Didi frantically runs around the house looking for where the kids could be hiding, Grandpa Lou walks back into the house frustrated. He shouts outside at Drew. “We’ll see how happy you are about kicking me off the grill when your steaks turn black! Dang sons of mine get kids of their own and they think they run the world…” Lou closes the door behind him and sees the growing number of people in the house. “I think I need to take a break from all this excitement.” He sees JP hiding behind the leg of kitchen table and lets out a big laugh. “You’re getting tired of all the commotion too, aren’t ya, sprout? Let’s get up to Grandpa’s room and take ourselves a nap, shall we?”
Grandpa Lou picks up JP and starts making his way upstairs, making sure to avoid Didi the entire way so she doesn’t stop him.

I cast my first vote to break the tie. I cast my second in an attempt to prevent a multiple way tie, or at least reduce the likelihood of one. At that point anyone switching off CWE onto JP or Badger would result in another tie. II took my vote and threw it onto you because noone had voted for you. If I put it on Kangus, who had one vote that would put JP and Kangus on 2, and it would only take a couple of votes for one or both of them to be part of a tie. As you can see, that worked out great.
I fucking hate anything that puts a layer of RNG between the player and the action. Going 'well, you wanted to do this but the dice says no' doesn't sit right with me.
