Debate League: Interest and Discussion

What would you guys think of having a debate league?

Kneeneighbor suggested it, and something like this existed years previous.



General thoughts are that it is one-off, so you don't need to make the tournament level commitment as often. Could potentially have rankings, "belt holder", etc. There could be open matches, or people could challenge people. It also would let us play with different formats.


Also, interested if the most interest would be in just wrestling, or other topics.


If there's interest, I could take a stab with organizing (although I am definitely also jumping in regularly. Typically, when I can hold some young poster down), with the one-off nature it would be a lot easier to have different people "running" a specific match, etc.


I do also think there's room to do this, and work in the Fiction Fights, Wilfreds, Tag Team debates, etc.

I've conquered Wilfred's Singles and Tag Teams. I can branch out and whoop everyone in other topics too besides wrestling.

Suggestions. Me vs JP in a Gin vs Gin which is better match. Psycho in a which is the best Final Fantasy game is the best match. I'll even learn American Football and debate that.

I think we can tailor this to what topics people want. Could be mostly wrestling. I would also be interested in the nerdy topics. Like beforr Capt America Civil War, I would have tried to set one up on which side would win a fight.
