I'm hyped. The first one was tremendous fun.
Incredible. Even my youngest daughter has about 900 levels created.
The lack of enthusiasm for this game coming out tomorrow is making me question my affiliation with you people.

I bought this with the 1 year online subscription for an extra $10 (normally a year is $20). Figured I would just add onto my current subscription at the half price, so now I'm set til 2021.
I've only played it for about 30 minutes so far. Fun stuff. I haven't tried making levels yet though so I'm curious to see how well it functions. It was so perfect on the Wii U touchpad with the stylus.

I just played it @Fro and it was great. Good basic level to get started on. I gave it a like and left a comment you should enjoy. I have been slogging it down in the story mode and I will take my time before making levels. I have a lot of levels in the previous game that I want to incorporate here.

Online Multiplayer was insanely laggy when I tried it a few times. I hope they figure it out but tbh I’m not bothered. This game (2D Mario in general) is way better solo IMO. The multiplayer is a nice feature to include and I could have a some fun with it but that’s more for kids IMO. I’m not sold on the competitive fun of versus mode Mario on an adult level. I could very well be wrong.
Either way they should fix the lag.
Did local multiplayer with 3 friends after uploading some random levels. That was tons of fun and finally got a friend who normally hates Mario games to enjoy it for once.
I'm ready for the Game Grumps to be endlessly tortured by Ross's levels...

The launch of this gane has inspired me to fire up Mario Maker on the wii U, after it was sitting there collecting dust for around a year.
How do people conventially go about finding levels to play? I go to the Course World, sort by star rating and just jump into some of the higher rated levels. Is that what everyone else does?

I do. I haven’t built hardly any levels (I did a lot more building in the original game) but I go to the course world and play the global favorites.
I have made a few levels and got fifty stars for them. I love doing the 20 second speedruns and got a couple friends hooked on Mario Maker.

I need a Switch just for this game. I don't care about anything else on the platform as much as I do about this one. Spent many hours playing the first one on WiiU and it was the first game my youngest daughter got into. She was like 4 and her levels made no sense and we're extremely difficult, damn near impossible more often than not to beat because of how she'd set everything up, she had no clue lol.
Endless Challenge is insane. I am riding 546 straight levels on Normal with 100 lives right now.
Makers are putting out some really good World games now. This update let's people build actual classic Mario games and release them freely. I think we'll get some incredible ones..

I will try that. I have been big into Animal Crossing, but the new update has sure produced some great new levels.
Worlds started off slow, but that was needed for people to create some good stuff. We are now starting to see that and it us awesome!
