As a sucker for songs with lyrics, I loooove Angle's TNA theme. The lyrics are cheesy, but the music is epic. While JJ's Medal is an awesome song for Kurt Angle the Olympian, Gold Medal realllly fit the TNA Main Event character of Kurt so fucking perfectly. Nothing will ever break that image of Kurt rising through the IMPACT stage with five titles and that theme blasting.

Prefer Angle's WWE theme to Impact, though honestly just listening on TV I never really noticed the lyrics to his Impact theme.

I can't keep up with Angle TNA themes but that one sounds like video game theme music from 1989.

Can't top his WWE theme. It even has crowd interaction.

Taking the crowd interaction ut of it and judging them as stand alone themes, the TNA one is better.

I gotta go with the WWE theme. The TNA theme doesn't fit Kurt Angle to me.

His WWE theme is iconic. And I prefer song without lyrics.

The WWE Medal theme is what defined Kurt Angle. Plus, Edge brilliantly added the "you suck!" lyrics to it, which the crowd now chants affectionately.

The TNA theme doesn't fit the man who won a gold medal with a broken freakin neck

It's all about interpretation in these theme vs theme contests I think. Medal's probably going to get the win here because it is the more famous won and stuck with him throughout his career, but others may think the TNA theme is a better tune on its own.

I have great love for them both, but to me listening to Medal on its own without the crowd noise doesn't have the same impact.

TNA theme fits his character there: a veteran who came in like a tornado and shook the company up. This guy walked into TNA and won every single championship. He beat Samoa Joe, he beat Sting, he beat Jeff Jarrett. TNA Kurt was an absolute machine. TNA Kurt was cocky in every right and he helped to bring that company to prime time, two two hours, and touring. As TNA a descended into the shit-show it became, Kurt also wound down and came back to WWE.

The TNA theme just makes me think of Kurt working with and putting over everyone. TNA Kurt made stars. WWE Kurt got the rub from stars.

Its also got THA TRADEMARC on it. THA FRIKIN TRADEMARC!

So what you’re saying is that THA TRADEMARC should be inducted into the WWE HOF?

I like Kurt's TNA theme without the lyrics. They're a little cheesy. His TNA entrance coming up through the stage in the dark with the American flag jacket and that song was so, so epic.

@Hero! Please do AJ Styles next but make it a triple threat. "Get Ready to Fly" vs "Evil Ways" vs "Phenomenal." They are all excelkent in their own way and this could really split votes.

Gah. This is kind of tough. They're both so different and both work so well for their own reasons. Medal feels more like the iconic theme, the one for a legend and Hall of Famer, the definitive theme for "classic" Angle. Having said that, though, the TNA theme is this killer, hype up, fucking JAM for a badass wrestling machine coming to wreck folks and fits this other side of Angle like Hero was talking about a few posts up. And personally, I lean towards that one just as a song to listen to. Medal's not much on its own (though Anthology has that slightly better version with the drums). TNA theme gets my vote.

I actually hate that version of his theme

Medal for me. Unlike some have said, I actually do enjoy listening to that song on its own, and for me it's much more iconic. And it works both as a babyface theme AND a heel theme. I think the TNA one, while great and hype, mostly works as babyface/tweener thing.

    Great selection, though.

You would think Angle's TNA theme would be for Dean Ambrose considering it is called Lunatic Fringe. I do like Angles theme from tyre wwe rap album

The TNA theme I'm more likely to listen to in my car on the way to the gym. But the WWE theme feels more like what you'd hear after someone wins the main event of wrestlemania. So in answer to your question, I don't know okay.
