Who are your Least Favorite Wrestlers?

We always hear about people's favorites..we know AJ, Bryan, Seth, Finn, Nakamura, Omega, etc are all beloved.

Who do you loathe? Who makes you change the channel or fast-forward through their matches?

    New Japan
I always skip Roppongi 3K, Trent Beretta, Rocky Romero matches. Never really liked them. Not really a fan of Honma or Chase Owens either.

    Impact Wrestling
I fucking hate KM and Fallah Bahh. I'm not at all a fan of Eli Drake (he doesn't do anything), and Johnny Impact is boring AF.

    Ring of Honor
I pretty much only like Dalton Castle, Bandido, Juice, PCO, Scurll, Silas Young and The Briscoes. The rest is very boring

    WWE

the reason for this thread: Charlotte. Ugh. Go away. She won't, which sucks. Also, this new Brian Kendrick is boring. Baron Corbin blows, Aiden English, and it sucks to say but I skip every Tony Nese match.

Who is on your (most likely unwarranted, like mine) list of Least Favorites?

Oddly enough, Tony Nese is one of my favorites.

WWE: Bayley, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks, Tye Dillinger, Johnny Gargano, Roderick Strong. Don't find myself enjoying most of their matches.

I haven't seen enough of anything else to really form an opinion.

Corbin, by a mile. Has anyone ever said they looked forward to a Corbin match, or worse, a Corbin promo?

Then, the Bellas. They were/are terrible in the ring and even worse on the mic. They set the divas division back for a generation.

Next would be the entire 205 roster. While their wrestling is pretty damn good, we don't get a story with them. Without a reason to care, why should we?

I gotta disagree with you, @Sinner about Charlotte - she is so much better in the ring than most of the roster, and she can cut a decent enough promo, she is very watchable. As for the ladies, I am not a huge fan of Nia but her work and promos have both improved. Tamina, on the other hand, is a puzzle. She is terrible in the ring, and worse on the mic. She is my least favorite, but Alicia Fox is right up there.

I'm watching Ring of Honor's latest show right now...why, why, why does Kenny King get such opportunities? I really don't enjoy his matches, not since like 2010

and wow, Nick Aldis is really bad at commentating

Zack Ryder - same gimmick for the last decade, happy to sit around collecting a pay check.

Baron Corbin - for reasons already stated

Nia Jax - terrible actress, awful in the ring, unsafe worker

I kinda dig Baron Corbin. Loved him in NXT, didn't like him when he first came to the main roster, but since then he's found his role and I don't think he's that bad in it.

If this question had been asked last year, I would certainly have expected there'd have been some Roman Reigns hate in here.

If this question had been asked 5 years ago, I would have expected there'd have been some Cena hate in here.

If this question had been asked 10 years ago, I would have expected there'd have been some HHH hate in here.

If this question had been asked 15 years ago, I would have expected there'd have been some X-Pac hate in here.

Already enough hate for the top 3 spread out across 120 other threads lol.

X-Pac.....Still to this day have zero clue what X-Pac heat is. The guy was always getting reactions. His smallest pop was bigger than anything Cena's had. Including his Rumble return 10+ years ago. X-Pac=underrated GOAT.

Come to think of it, I don't know how I ever liked DX. Didn't like Triple H, didn't like X-Pac, didn't like Road Dogg, sorta liked Billy Gunn. Maybe it was the theme song?

Sheamus holds the distinction of being really really good and yet still sucking.

He wrestles well. In fact I'd call him a truly great performer for a WWE style power wrestler.

And yet he still is boring and sucks.

Loved Sheamus in ECW, and his WWE debut, then he slowly started to bore me to tears. Luckily he got injured and came back with a fresher look and feel, and since then he's been one of the ones I quite enjoy. I dare say I enjoy him more than Cesaro.

Sheamus's partnership with Cesaro gave him a new lease on life and it's been one of the best runs of his career.

The Bellas. (Top of my list any day of the week)

    Nia Jax. (Close second)

    Ryback.

    The Young Bucks. (Personally)

    Leva Bates.

Bobby Lashley. (Has never been worth a shit in the woods)

    Brandi Rhodes.

If we're talking all time, Ryback for sure. Triple H, CM Punk, Shawn Michaels after 2002

After last night I'm including Bobby Lashley. The only difference between face and heel with him is whether he'll run in to make the save or team up to attack someone. Lio Rush could survive on his own.

    Corbin as mentioned
Shane from 2015-on. Sure he does ridiculous things on occasion but he doesn't really add anything for me
Nia Jax, The IIconics are garbage.
Main roster Ascension. NXT version was fine, maybe they would be better off there.
    Jinder Mahal
Shelton Benjamin; athletic, sure, but very bland outside of the Shelton's Mama stuff years ago
Erick Rowan; same problem as Corbin, Jinder.... doesn't matter what they do with this guy, just not impressive enough.
    Kalisto
singles Sheamus - love that the pairing with Cesaro has worked out. Had low expectations for it but the two of them have been great TV.

I don't hate him or anything but I find myself skipping every Finn Balor match on Raw.

He is good, I know he is good but I just find him boring. Long matches that just seem to drag. Ziggler kind of falls into the same boat for me.

Not a big fan of Tamina but more due to the fact that she seems to wrestle in a bin bag.

Other than that I don't really mind anybody else. I actually quite like Corbin and think he is treated unfairly. He is a perfectly fine wrestler and talker. Nothing special but not bad by any means.

    How dare you.

Lashley is a big one for me. I've never understood any love that man gets. Here's one a few people (defrost) is gonna hate. I don't get Tanahashi, I wouldn't say I hate him but he's very meh for me. MOJO and Zach Ryder also get a big time yawn from me. I actively hate Ryder though but I think it's mostly because his supporters.

Oh and Braun, he's big but his promos are meh and other than being huge he doesn't impress me.

You're wrong, Jordo, about Braun. Just because they built him like a Monster among Men, then they've done nothing with him, doesn't make him that much less compelling to watch.

For me, the "least favorite" would also require groans and eyerolls from the crowd, make me actively want to take a bathroom break.

I've never enjoyed any big man wrestlers honestly. Cruiserweights are what initially got me into wrestling and it's continued to be a trend. I don't hate them in general but I can't really think of one huge wrestler I've really loved. Even like Undertaker I've really always been fairly meh on.

I'm not a fan of Braun, I enjoy very little he does. As a human he seems pretty cool though

    Dana Brooks-horrible in every facet

    Bobby Lashley-boring as fuck

    EC3-see Lashley

Bobby Roode-his face character is nonsense. still don't get why he isn't a heel

    New Day-act is lame

I think Charlotte is the best female wrestler of all time by quite a margin now.

    Do not like:
Allister Black - He is a ballerina and needs to embrace it.
Finn Balor - Skip all of his matches. Jumping off the top ropes to stomp on someones chest is just not right.
    Nia - What a glump.
    Tamina - smaller glump
Rollins - his promos have gotten so generic and his matches make me think of pancakes in a world where food has no taste.
Brock - The guy himself is ok but he is the main reason RAW is so hopeless with no belt on tv
Paul Heyman - How many ways can a guy deliver exaxtly the same promo in 5 years?
Sheamus and Cesaro - Cesaro is so underused. Always skip their matches.

Also skipping over - Corbin, Lashley, McIntyre, Ziggler, Elias, Braun these days..

Nia Jax- sorry, I just don't get it. Maybe this is sexist, insensitive or whatever. I just don't buy the act. She isn't a genetic freak or anything special. She is an overweight gal that got basic training as a wrestler, and she was probably only given the time of day because she is related to the Rock. I guess, she takes the "big man" role that generally has a spot on any roster, but for me that just leads to slow, dull matches where the big man leverages their weight/size to "grind" their opponent, who has to play David to their Goliath. But for me, she just takes away the spot from a more athletic/charasmatic person who is in great shape, and really had to work hard for their spot.

    Yes me.

As for me, I had it a long long time ago with the Irish step dancing vanilla midget that never does a hold or uses his hands and just stomps stomps stomps: Finn Balor: Boring City. He should have 1/10 the mic skills Corbin has and he might make it to the intolerable level.....in 205 live where he belongs.

Now who else really BUGS me?

I mean, I was almost happy for poor Balor when he won last night (good storytelling with Almighty Lashley and Lio) as he's been put down so long and he's a likable enough sort, but I just despise his wrestling style. Sorry, complete fail. But I get why people like him: the smile, the abs, the flippy shit....

But the ones that make you scratch you head, say wtf is going, why are they (still in some cases for years and years) employed here?

You know, the ones that make you absolutely cringe every time you hear their enterance music hit:

Alicia Fox - the poster girl for 'How is she still employed?' I guess her outrageous hats are funny.

The Bella Twins - The Diva Driven Brand that keeps threatening to cripple a wrestler some day. Let's hope and pray they don't, including themselves.

Kurt Angle - This may shock you, but I cannot stand watching him work so slow and a shadow of his former self any longer. Please Kurt, retire because watching you at Wrestlemania will be like watching Willie Mays in the 1973 World Series falling down in centerfield trying to catch a routine
    fly ball.

The Otis dude. Comedy routine is stupid and on top of it, everything they do is ripped off from another team like the Bushwackers stupid arm thing and the worm, and that sets me off too, that lack of originality (yes, I realize they're only taking orders from creative...). Fail and fast.
Although that probably means the people will put them over Big if I think they're stupid lol.

Randy Orton - almost too bored to type this just thinking of him.....zzzzzz

sorry I dozed off there fir a second. Randy Orton, better than ambien....

I guess that's it on the ones the really BUG me when I see them instantly....

    New Japan:

    1) Hirooki Goto. Dudes isn’t even a bad wrestler, he’s just so relentlessly uncharismatic that I can never lol forward to anything he does.

    2) tiger mask 4. Ugh.

    3) Yoshinobu Kanemaru. He’s just so god damned boring. Worst member of Suzuki-gun by far.

    ROH:

    1) The Kingdom. Fucking snore.

    2) Silas Young. Dude tries so hard to be this tough man, but everything he does looks light as a feather. His hair is awful too.

    3) beer city bruiser. Fucking go away forever.

    IMPACT:

No one? Best roster they’ve ever had. Or best usage of a roster, I guess. Even Fallah bah and KM have become awesome.

    WWE:

    1) Anyone from the attitude era besides Rey and Goldust. I could do with never seeing Hunter, Taker, Mayor Kane, or Dwayne lace up a pair of boots ever again. Shane and Big Show too. I’d give Mark hebry a pass though, if he wanted to work a few big matches. HE’S STILL GOT GAS IN THE TANK!

    2) Randy Orton. Please just retire already.

    3) Ariya Daivari and Noam Dar. Holy jesus are they the definition of vanilla midgets.

Baron Corbin is excellent. I thought he was a bit boring for a while but I've slowly come to realize he's just really good in his role.

I'll probably get a lot of crap for this but I've never been a fan of Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose or Seth Rollins either as the shield or singles competitors.

Virgil, HHH, Cena, JBL(wrestler or commentary), Charlotte, Simon Gotch, Brian Cage, Ruby Riott, Aiden English, Colt Cabana, Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin, Chavo, Alicia Fox, EC3, Fandango, Corporal Robinson, Kenny King, Cameron, The Ascension, Tatanka, King Cuerno, The Public Enemy, Sheamus, Jinder, Ken Anderson, Dalton Castle, Vladimir Kozlov, Hangman Page, Alberto Del Rio, MVP, Wade Barrett, Titus, Crash Holly, Disco inferno, Tracy Smothers, Adam Rose and James Ellsworth.

He's so whack. I remember the infamous video where he tried to crash a Jim Cornette Q &A and he kept going "Give me a mic, give me a mic" Nobody was giving that jobber a mic.

A few that spring to mind no particular order. Not all of them are all-around bad, but they're so bad in one particular area that they're on this list:

    Jackie Gayda
    David Arquette (well sorta qualifies)
    Nia Jax
    Mojo Rawley
    Tito Ortiz
    Baron Corbin
    Brie Bella
    Big Cass
    Enzo Amore (sorry Nash)
    KISS Demon
    Sid (in the ring)
    Jinder Mahal
    Tiger Ali Singh
Boogeyman (risking a ban with that one, but purely basing on in-ring skills)
James Ellesworth (in the ring but cracked me up on the mic)
Eugene (I hear Dinsmore is quite good outside of WWE though)
    Van Hamner

There'll be plenty others not there but that will do for now.

Exactly. The fact everybody hates him so much shows he's doing his job well.

Not everybody can do flippy shit all day with no hands while they smile smile smile like everybody's favorite Finn Balor. The circus don't work that way, it needs a lot of diverse types of entertainment. And WWE is just like the circus, in fact it devolved from there.

Corbin is horrid in the ring so he’s definitely at the top of my list.

Got no move arsenal really. I love a good Deep Six and that’s about it.

Getting sick of Brock, as many are. He either faces another big dude and has a slow plodding match, or he faces a smaller guy in a match that while good follows the same formula.

Obviously you've never watched a Baron Corbin match, because he is much more entertaining than watching paint dry, and I've done both countless of times.

Miz's in-ring offense style, may be a little plain, but in absolutely every promo segment, the Miz completely owns it, even when they've been repetitive for three straight weeks. His selling, and his facial expressions in the ring are far far above almost everyone else in the ring (aside from maybe Daniel Bryan). When he's in the ring, he makes his opponents look great, whether they get 4 minutes or 15. And he's always in the right position in the ring.

    100% agreed.

Miz may not be a technical genius, but he makes up for it in every other department. A great wrestler all-around.

He had quite the run as IC champ in the mid-80s. He may look like a darts player but was a pretty vicious heel.

He's still one of the best promo cutters and heels on the roster. When he turns on Shane, I expect it will be brutal with Shane being busted open.

I liked Aleister Black until he spoke then it was like wtf man you just ruined any coolness you had about you. I also don't like Shayna Bayzler because she sounds like a 13 year old boy and I can't take you seriously.

Johnny Gargano is just god awfully boring. Ciampa too. Hate the both of them.

Baron Corbin is the 2019 Test. Test was the 1999 Van Hammer. Van Hammer was the 1992 J.W. Storm. J.W. Storm was the 1990 “Mega Man” Tom McGee.

    And so on.

Boring Corbin fits into a long lineage of nominally talented big guys with good looks who weren’t great workers. Corbin is a Vince McMahon wet dream, just transplanted from 2004 to now. Corbin would’ve been a main event guy against John Cena, having hoss matches with Batista, and being dragged kicking and screaming to a 4-star match by Chris Benoit then. Now he’s been outpaced by better guys and he’s actually just fit in right.

Corbin isn’t good. He’s just placed well.

I'm still trying to figure why he still wrestles dressed like a waiter, but it's better than his old look at least. Bald mullet and stomach that looks like it has a mouth.

I'd like it if the airlines could find Corbin's luggage. That might help in making him look like an actual wrestler.

    You said good looks here?

The guy doesn't have a good physique, hence wearing shirts when wrestling

I honestly don't know what Vince sees in him. He is nothing like, for example, Drew McIntyre who DOES have the look

Corbin isn't "good looking" as in handsome. But the bald head, when he loses the hipster craft beer bar waiter outfit isn't bad. He looks like the kind of guy who'd jack you up behind a McDonalds for $8 and your shoes. Its a good look for a wrestling heel. He just looks like a rough asshole.

Dean Ambrose, for another example, is the same way. Dude looks like he walked out of a leper colony, like he hasn't seen the sun since 1998, and he's sick with some unidentified disease that was only recently discovered in him. But it fits the character. He's a violent, gross, sweaty, scrappy heel asshole.

Not having a great physique or peak good looks can be an asset for some wrestlers. Not a hindrance.

I don't think anyone would have a problem with Corbin if he was someone's muscle instead of the mastermind that he's been made out to be. How is he the leader instead of Drew in the pseudo stable they have with Lashley?
