Yes. Had 3 offers. 2 were VA loans and solid. I was rooting for the single dad, ex marine with 2 kids. However someone else came in with a conventional loan (easier to pass inspection) and we didnt have to cover closing. It netted us an extra 10k in profit to bring the total profit to 32k.

Pretty significant moment in my life. 8 uears ago my wife left me and the 2 kids and moved out of the country. House was 30k under water. I worked my ass off and made some small improvemnts to the house to get here. I have an offer in on something else. Will hear back tomorrow afternoon.

​Quandary- A nice little game of plotting and scheming.

Stay with me on this one. Ask questions. We will not start till later tonight or until everyone confirms they understand.

The Cards: There are 30 cards in the deck. They are in 5 different colors. (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Purple,) Each color has the numbers 0-5. They will be dealt out to each player randomly.

The Scoring Tiles: Scoring tiles come in the same 5 colors. (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Purple,) There are 6 of each color. Once all 6 are taken no more scoring tiles may be taken for that color.

Your turn: On your turn you first lay a card. The most recent card for that specific color is the worth of that Scoring Tile. After you lay a card you pick any one tile. Play rotates along the list of player.

The end: Once all 6 cards of any one color are played the whole game ends. What ever the most recent card played for each color that becomes how many points the corresponding tile is worth.

Example:

Player A lays down a green 2 and takes a green tile.
Player B lays down a green 0 and takes a purple tile.
Player C lays down a yellow 5 and takes a green tile.
Player D lays down a purple 3 and takes a yellow tile.

Play continues and all of the green tiles are played ending with the Green 4. All players holding green scoring tiles score 4 points per tile. If no card was played for a color that scoring tile is worth 0. In our example Player A scores 4 for his green, Player B scores 3 for his purple, Player C scores 4 for his green and player D scores 5 for his yellow. You will not know the final worth of a scoring tile until the game ends.


High score wins immunity and a shot at a million dollars.

When you play a card you can pick a token of any colour.

Whenever all the cards of one colour are played the game will end at that point.

Whatever the numerical value of the last card played of every colour will determine the value of those tokens that were picked up as the game went on.

So if the last red card played when the game ended was 3. Everyone who has red tokens, each token is worth 3 points. If the last green card played was 0 when the game ended. Everyone who has green tokens won't get any points.

36. every tile is worth 6 points. However one person getting all of one color scoring tile would be rare. Others will see you picking them and there are only 6 available. When they are gone they are gone and you must select another color.

I have been re watching old Survivors recently as my girlfriend is into them and hasnt seen any of the early ones. We wrapped Season 1 and are almost done with season 3. Getting some ideas for future challenges but the game we played that Rev won by moving and flipping over the square were were just on was played in Season 1 and won by Rudy.

I was just saying earlier today how much I suck at blackjack. Basically the only strategy I know is that I have to end up between 17 and 21, and the closer to 21 the better.

Rules:

Everyone starts with $1000.
All bets must be multiples of $5.
We will play 12 hands. Rotating who bets and plays first each round.
Each person will place their bet and then after all bets are made we will play the hands.
Dealer hits to 17. Dealer hits a soft 17.
Dealing from a 2 deck shoe.
You may split on pairs. When splitting Aces each gets one card only.
Double on anything.
I will announce when we are shuffling the deck.
Must bet at least $5 per hand.
High total left at the end wins immunity.
