There was a major update to the board over a year ago. iirc, it ended up being quite a chore. Anyway, that was when we were limited to only 1 video per post, and I have no idea why.
I thought this was going to be an issue during the debates.
Yeah that sounds about right. I'm guessing they had to streamline stuff because the server kept crashing but the mods are probably better placed to answer that. At least this hiccup was nipped in the bud early but due to the delay we can extend these ties a bit longer.
Hopefully Judas checks in soon though otherwise may look to reserves.

Can you not let people do 3 separate posts? As long as it's in a row so they can do 3 vids if needed. Maybe put a time limit on it. Like 45 minutes to get all your posts in once you start?
Well I wouldn't put that strict a time limit though, f people really want to do multiple vids for one post, what we may do if allow multiple posts but they'd have to be 3 posts spread over the 350 word cap. They'd have to tell us up front plus I'd have to run that past Mazer as well.
Shouldn't need to do that though. I kinda agree with Jordo that vids are a bit of a crutch in my personal opinion because people may not pay attention enough to watch the videos all the way through. The words should be enough.
If @JP wants to put his original post up but spread it over 3 posts and 350 words, I'll let it go.

Honestly, I was somewhat Ok with multiple videos, and will have the existing matches go on as posted. Anyone who started writing based on the rules as posted shouldn't be penalized.
but moving forward, I don't like breaking it up for videos. It hurts readability in my view. In some previous debates it had been restricted, and I think we should move back to that moving forward.
Aye that sounds reasonable, it definitely makes it harder to read. We'll make an exception for JP though if he has it all posted already. @Defrost can also respond similarly in his opening post if he so wishes to level things up if JP does that. If JP's putting it into one post though, we go back to alternating posts.

As Psycho has asked, I'll clarify this in here for everyone reading their debate. NXT teams and NXT tag titles are allowed as current roster includes NXT.
If they've already won NXT tag titles but not on the main roster, that won't count though. They've to have never won any belts whatsoever.

I had a really good choice, and then in my research, I remembered a detail about a certain team that pretty much defeats that option. I'm gonna go back to the drawing board and hopefully I can get something out before I go to work. It might not be until later tonight, though.
PM me the choice if you want and I can verify if it's okay.

As JP and Defrost is very close to finishing, I'll put a quick note on how voting will work.
There will be 4 points: One
1 Main page poll which we'll get Cewsh to set up.
2. The forum vote. Participants and other posters will all be welcome to vote. Must be accompanied by good reasoning. Anything too weak like "I liked his argument", "his argument was stronger" won't count and must be elaborated on as to why you think that way. "I agree with his side" will just be flat ruled out. Doesn't have to be massive, a paragraph will suffice.
3. Judge BBF's vote.
4. Judge virm/Cards4Lyfe's vote.
If there's a tie after that, I'll have a confab with Mazer on how to break it but we may just end up calking the casting vote ourselves or inviting someone who hasn't voted to be a third judge.
Oh and I think 72 hours will be fine to leave voting open for.

@Badger, I presume you and the other judges will determine whether a forum vote has sufficient additional "good reasoning" and is compelling enough to be counted. But if one of these posts is going to be thrown out, will you let them know they may have to add additional reasoning? Will you be posting in each of the threads to let us know when we can add our thoughts?
Myself or Mazer will start the vote depending on who's around. If we suspect there's any dodgy voting, we'll let the relevant person know they have to add reasoning.
Also if any of the participants question a vote in their tie, they can let myself and Mazer know via PM or in the discussion thread and we'll review it.
Great work so far chaps! It's hard to vote because I agree with both sides of the debates so far in all of them, really hard to sort of figure out who's argued their case the best. Going to be tough.
There's been some fantastic work plus everyone has turned up thus far which has always been a recurring concern.
Reserves will be on standby for the second half of the first round in case there's no-shows. Once we hit the next round, we'll take reserves out and meeting deadlines will be a bit stricter

Really it should have ended about 15 years ago and that's being generous.
Although it will be a sad day when it ends I do agree it's come to the end now, when they decide it's the last ever episode I imagine there will be a few tears shed.

Hmm maybe WWE is going down the same path for me, I'm really struggling with it atm I don't know if a show just reaches its peak and it's very hard to keep it going as a lot changes over the years and it's hard to stay fresh haha might need to keep my opinions for the debates!
