Damn self-quarantine. I forgot what day today was.
Uh... welcome to AEW...
And the whole deal.
- Loved Cody/Darby - Those two have some immense chemistry. Two guys who always bring the best out of each other. Darby showing some flashes of working heel makes me excited to see him go full heel. I think he'll be a great psychotic, killer asshole. He'd be the kind of violent, sadomasochist heel that Jimmy Havoc wants to be.
- Wardlow is fantastic. Last week he was "The Wardog", this week he's "Mr. Mayhem". Pick a nickname, "Mr. Wayrhemdog".
- The Ambiguously Gay Best Friends vs. Superbad British Bastards was the kind of sloppy, ugly indie fun I'd expect from a match where two-fourths of the participants are indie cunts who can't work. Chuck Taylor is a Frankenstein monster with bad hair and no body who looks like he should be parking cars, not wrestling- and Jimmy Havoc is a walking puddle of crotch rot made sentient. But Trent No Last Name Given, Kip Sabian, and Penelope Ford were good enough to hold things together.
- That Britt Baker segment was cute. Basically a retread on the first one. I'm looking forward to Britt Baker vs. Tony Schiavone in the future.
- Shawn Spears has less direction than a broken GPS unit. Obviously, Tully Blanchard is great with him, but Tully is Corona-Compromised. So, Shawn's on his own for now and he's just "a guy" filling time.

"(Brodie Lee) Isn't some goofy Southerner or something."

Damn... that was the best possible use of Marko Stunt.

Damn, John Moxley wrestling on TV and Matt Hardy making his in-ring debut for AEW - both on free TV.
They're really not saving anything for a post-Corona world, are they?
