Rousey was good enough last week on the mic but she seemed really off the rails this week. She almost seemed like she was on the verge of tears with her backstage promo. It's just not a good situation to have her in, knowing Lynch is going to be able to one-up her the following night. It was a nice touch to have the beatdown at the end of the show though. It does lead to the thought I had for Sunday, with Rousey winning. I think she ultimately wins because she has Lynch in the armbar but Lynch doesn't tap and just passes out.

The Ambrose stuff was kind of flat to me, considering the multiple weeks of waiting for an answer. If you're going to make people wait, I'd like more of a creative explanation. The upside with it is that this is probably just an opening chapter of sorts because they're going to have a few more weeks to play it out. I will say, they seem to be telling a story that Ambrose may be "whacky" but he knows what buttons to push with Rollins. That seemed to be a small story told when Rollins originally turned heel, and I think it's being told again this time around. It's a nice wrinkle for The Architect to deal with. Still expect Ambrose to cost Rollins the match Sunday.

Elias was the CPS stuff was solid. Seems like a program that, if it continues past tonight, should be one where Elias comes out looking good.

Bálor/McIntyre will be a fun go of it. It does seem weird how they just suddenly stopped the stuff with Lashley, where Bálor would be the fall guy, but it just seems like Bálor will handle that roll just higher up on the card for McIntyre. There was some nice sprinkling of dissension between Ziggler and McIntyre for the future. Tonight helped build some more momentum for Bálor and then set the stage after Sunday for more with McIntyre.

Becky is on another level right now. Good for her. She's making the most of her moment right now.

I just hope that translates to what happens to Survivor series and she isn't just fed to Ronda, and Becky can continue her awesome run and keep that swagger. I know they won't have Ronda tapping out to the dis arm her or anything, but maybe introduce some outside shenanigans into the match - Nia Jax attack, or some kind of "asssist" from other Smackdown superstars (maybe even make it a surprise Charlotte attack on Ronda or something setting up bad blood between Ronda/Charlotte which eventually leads to WrestleMania match) and let Becky get the pin, and protect both champions.

Come on now, the argument had always been that Reigns wasn't completely accepted as a face, it was never about him being over. When he kicks cancer's butt and comes back in a surprise, he will get a huge face reaction. Then, just because Vince hates his fans, he will probably turn Roman heel, only it'll be about 3 or 4 years too late.

Difference is, fans were cheering Becky before the heel turn, and they're still cheering her. Reigns got cheers before his Rumble win, but fans have been booing him ever since despite still being a face. As has been discussed on the forum, it's always been the booking that fans have an issue with, not necessarily Roman himself.

Just to be clear (as a former reporter, it's important), Fightful.com reported that and then the reporter clarified that he only has speculation of that, though it's coming from two sources. WWE has yet to confirm.
