PWInsider is reporting that Bryan is, in fact, out of Crown Jewel and will not travel to Saudi Arabia. Despite advertising as late as last night about the match, they're going to have to pull an audible. Two suggestions PWInsider is saying are under consideration: Rusev stepping in as a replacement, or finding a way to have the match between Bryan and Styles filmed at the PC and aired during CJ. They reported that the later idea is unlikely to actually happen.

I don't think it effects plans too much. They clearly want Bryan in the company, otherwise they'd never have let him wrestle again. If they do decide to take him out of the WWE Title picture because of this, we could finally get DB vs Nakamura, which would be great.

If anyone did not expect Randy to land an RKO outta nowhere on the Miz for congratulating him on their tag win, this must've been the first time you've watched wrestling.

I was gonna pick Randy as the best in the world, but win on TV means lose on PPV. I think I am going with the Miz.

They did right by the fans watching and the live crowd to have Bryan/Styles tonight. It will really be interesting to see how much grief, if any, Bryan gets going after this weekend. I think he gets by without any major damage because it'll look too obvious as to why he did it and you really can't blame him for his reasons for not going. It would be a bad morale move for Vince to reprimand him. You just never know with Vince, he might love Bryan more in a grander sense because he showed he's got stones.

As for the match, it was fantastic. Really enjoyable, and interesting to see Bryan get some heat with the match being in Georgia. Loved the finish with the Styles Clash. Joe stepping in made a lot of sense as well. I don't think he was actually injured but it played out for the match with Styles and a simple way to write him off TV for a bit.

Loved the E&C Pod of Awesomeness reference by Graves with Paul Smackage. Great Brood entrance by The New Day. I'm almost wondering if Cesaro and Halloween-themed matches are a thing. I remember had had one a few years back with Ambrose.

The stipulation made by Shane to his WC participants seemed out of place. That's a move Stephanie would make, but oh well. My guess was going to be Orton so he could play up his sadistic motives with a new roster of faces, but I'm skeptical now because he stood tall to end the show.

Another thought I had with the Shane stip: are they wanting to add more depth to Raw with Reigns being out of the mix?

I missed about half of the AJ/Bryan match, so I DVR'd it and re-watched it later. I'm so glad they did this on TV. The crowd didn't expect to get a title match, and it was in Georgia, so they were pretty fired up. I loved the way AJ worked over Bryan's knee, and I don't think I've ever seen someone reverse AJ's moonsault DDT with a Cravat. No one else on the main roster wrestles the way these guys do, and they pulled out some moves we just don't see that often. Great match all around

Styles has really been putting some great subtle action to the Styles Clash. The one he had on Almas a few weeks back and this one on Bryan were top notch.

I like how it was kind of teased on the turnbuckles but Bryan countered again with the hurricanrana. Just a good match with Bryan trying to work the arm and Styles working the leg.
