In Fantasy NFL (I like American things) there are a number of players who are deemed undroppable so that you can't have someone lose interest and just give away their best players. We should either work out something similar or finally introduce waivers.

Reech why did you drop Rory McAllister less than a month after giving up Harry Kane for him, in which time he scored three goals in four gameweeks?

MMH is the only person that I would trust to act impartially when it comes to this game. What a guy.

I'd be more annoyed by the BBF/Reech trades if they weren't all resulting in the team above me getting weakened. BBF's team is still shite and now Reech's team is shite too. Afobe is just a big dud at this point and will be backup to Vokes.

Nothing can be done about what? The trade itself? You (and Alex) both admitted at the weekend that you knowingly screwed sof out of tammy abraham. No one here is whiter than white, least of all you as you shout the loudest

I literally didn’t, you are just lying now. I backed up the trade. Abraham was more likely to leave in January by all odds outlets at that point, both him and Stockley were being shouted for being called back/transferred and we both fancied a change.

Defend his all you like but everyone can see that you’ve been shown up here massively. Shame really.

And yes nobody can do anything about the trade itself, as you well know. Firstly because you’re in charge, and secondly because the McAllister signing couldn’t go through to anyone but you after Reech put half the first trade up. It’s very clever, but given how you’re banging on about “next season” it’s a bit odd to throw away this faux “leader for change” persona you’ve created for yourself.

Also if the general consensus (which is what ive followed all season) agrees that the trade is unfair then we'll reverse it, the same as any other trade thats been highlighted this season.

My co manager was also saying with 100% certainty that Becky Lynch did not win the Royal Rumble. Take what he said that evening with a bucket of salt.

We did screw SOF. Not because he was our mate or because he was apathetic about the game though.

We had better judgment on the potential of both players than SOF. Win some, lose some.

I don't care anyway, this game needs fewer rules and interventions.

The two for one is fine. They can genuinely benefit both teams and I’ve always thought that. People who don’t are narrow minded. The Kane trade was a joke too though as you have admitted to.

The McAllister thing stinks most here. That’s what it comes down to. Getting rid of one of the most prolific scorers in Scottish football, albeit on a dry spell, when you’ve got cripples and benchwarmers in the squad, then sending me a screenshot of your WhatsApp chat about it where he’s laughing at the potential outcry about it.

One minute to do the exact trade and get a fresh player in with zero time or check if he’s not dead. Hmmmmm.

There are hardly any rules though. There were not at the beginning other than not to be a shit. People of course are shits naturally so we ended up with some rules.

We have the game we deserve.

That's a very valid point actually. By the nature of a trade nobody can pick up McAllister if BBF wants him as the dropping by Reech is not valid until BBF confirms it, therefore he gets a free shot at him.

I knew there was a reason why I didn't like uneven numbers in trades. It is a massive flaw.

Yup, it is literally a highly uneven 2 for 2 trade and that’s all there is to it.

Rosk a few weeks ago after the Kane trade "Rory has barely scored since since October and going into coaching"
Rosk now after he's scored a goal since then "One of the most prolific scorers in Scottish football, albeit on a dry spell"

Almost like the complaints happen because you're not getting your way?

We're swimming in transfer restrictive laws. 1 gameweek, 2 gameweeks, Tuesday at midnight.

    They're all completely unnecessary.

Both are true. Compared to Kane he’s a cripple. He’s still a top 30 player though.

You hold grudges for far too long. Not healthy.

If you can’t be arsed to play the game anymore like you said before to me when you were “probably going to give up at christmas”, then just give up your squad mate and maybe stop taking the piss.

If we are seemingly sharing conversations: “I'll be honest. I'm not enjoying it this season. I may give it up by Christmas. Think Alex wants a whole squad? I asked Mikey already.” -> becomes a feeder squad laughing about unbalanced trades on Whatsapp

I post a team regularly. Can we stop saying I don't play now?

I've posted multiple teams since Christmas and transferred in multiple players. Not sure how you can say I'm not playing? And I'm 7th in the most recent form over the last 6 GW.

Someone point me to the rule book where poor judgement is a metric for activity? I'll wait.

The other season, I transferred out John Marquis in a poor trade with Alex and I've been known to sign multiple wingers, Iranians or midfielders for goals. Oh where was the Paragon of RFF Virtue then to have my back invalidating those? Again, I'll wait.

Wait all you want. I could easily point out several weeks in the last month where you’ve played a starting five with people not in squads or with no games which completely destroys your argument, but I’m pretty sure you are more intelligent than you are coming across here.

Can’t be arsed anymore, as it’s pointless. Do whatever makes you weirdly happy.

The game runs itself. Every now and then something happens that stinks and then you get "interventions". You're involved more often than not so no wonder you prefer no rules.

BBF spent two hours last Sunday unpicking six invalid transfers you made in a three week period. The game doesn't run itself with these rules.

He spent four minutes and I wasn't cheating. The rules weren't the issue there, the issue was I'd forgotten a transfer.

Nope. You were consistently transferring in and out players before you were allowed. Sane to name one.

It's an unnecessary rule. Who cares how often you want to sign Leroy Sane.

Its mainly a hold over from the days before the spreadsheet when people did it and it was a nightmare to keep the teams correct and up to date.

Fucks sake. I've gone back over this and can't work out if I did this transfer right. I dropped Sane on Sunday 6th January - before his game in week 22. I then picked him up again on Saturday 19th for week 24. Is that within two FULL GAME WEEKS? Surely he was eligible from the Tuesday after week 23?

The issue isn't rules around transfers, it's that this rule is fucking bollocks.

I would like to formally and firmly reject the sudden, hand-written offer of resignation from my co-manager Alex Mack, which he hand delivered to my desk an hour ago. It is clear that such a decision was made from Alex under a spell of rage given our humbling at the hands of his mortal enemy, and the frustration of leaving multiple goals on the Ounty bench again.

I take this time to point out the remarkable job he has done as my co-manager over the past few months, and personally thank him for opening my eyes once more to the beauty of the game. I would also like to offer him a raise of £50 per week as a gesture of thanks for his tireless efforts thus far, and encourage him to look to the future gameweeks with the passion and desire he has shown ever since he kissed Margaret’s hand.

He won us a game the other week mate, but other than that I’m glad you are getting tons of goals out of the trade we did. ❤️
