He's coming home @Chris Scott. You can have your favourite player for the whole of next season.

    Massively weighted to Rosk Ounty.

Chris Scott would received 1 player who has scored 20 goals in 38 games this season including 4 in his last 11. 0.52 strike rate.

Rosk Ounty would receive 2 players. Player 1 has 18 goals in 30 games including 9 in his last 11 and a strike rate of 0.6.
Player 2 has 21 in 37 including 9 in his last 9 and a strike rate of 0.56

You'd effectively be getting 1.1 goals per game for Chris' 0.5 goals per game. Even if you look at RFF only which skews things slightly in your favour you'd be swapping 0.58 goals per game (Salah) for 2 players with 0.86 goals per game and thats without even looking at how many games they actually played.

Didn't you do an (as notified by MMH, Torn and more, but ultimately ignored by you) illegal trade for players where you got 32 in 60 and they got 20 in 68? And then two weeks later both the players you traded away were dropped, and you picked up one of them back up? Are you really going somewhere with this with all the quicksand you're shouting on?

As you are such a fan of revisionism with 'YEAH THAT WAS REALLY UNFAIR LADS WASN'T IT BECAUSE I'VE ONLY GOT TWO GOALS FROM THAT PLAYER AND THEY'VE GOT 18'...

Since the trade of Marquis for Akinde and Afobe:

    Marquis has scored 1 goal
    Akinde has scored 2 goals
    Afobe has scored 1 goal.

By your own reasoning when you've been called out on trades in the past, that seems like a fair deal to me.

Even doing the same calculations as above (which I've done for all the trades so far this season):

Marquis has 22 in 42 or 0.52 strike rate.
Akinde has 15 in 41 or 0.36 strike rate.
Afobe has 9 in 38 or 0.23 strike rate.

Thats a swap of 1 striker who scores 0.52 for 2 players who scored 0.59. Again seems like it stacks up pretty well.

For quicksand this concrete I'm on doesn't seem to be moving.

Rosk and I had a training ground bust-up over this last night because the trade is massively in Chris Scott's favour for the following three reasons:

    - xG90:
    Mo Salah 0.64
    Che Adams - 0.54
    Nicky Maynard 0.45

Adams and Maynard are EFL no-marks in purple patches that are proven by their history and shot/xG data to be completely unsustainable. Salah is one of the best goalscorers in the World, and plays 2 teams in the top half for the remainder of the RFF season and 6 of the bottom 7. Salah will outscore them both for the remainder of the season.

    - Keepers. If the game continues then Mo Salah would be one of the top draft picks. Adams won't get drafted and Maynard would be a late first rounder.

    - 'Rejecting the trade'. Rosk will only now look to complete the trade to expose the hypocrisy of earlier trades that were allowed that were far less justifiable than this. I could name 8 players that are currently available with +0.45 xG90 which is why it's a really really stupid trade. You have also agreed that trades are generally in favour of those received the 'superstar' rather than the two players.

Yeah... Akinde scored them for you

Quite a telling difference here is that all my trades were allowed. Everyone commenting at the time on yours said that yours wasn't right, and yet you ignored everyone, and carried on as if there was no difference until the gameweek was finished so that the trade couldn't be changed.

Again, when you do a trade for players where you get 32 in 60 and they get 20 in 68, then two weeks later his players are dropped and you get one of them back… you haven’t got a leg to stand on to talk about other people's trades at all.

Despite your efforts at making yourself look like a hero for the new RFF and making everything different, you've taken the piss out of everyone with how you've acted when it comes to trades.

Are you seriously implying that no one has ever questioned any of your trades in this game, or at the very least claimed they are weighted towards yourself?

Looking back on the Kane trade no one said anything except you with 'HAHAHSAHGHGASJ REECH YOU'VE BEEN RAPED'
And then looking at the Marquis trade it was again you shouting about the trade, MMH saying 'On the surface It reeks of dodgyness, however I don't see why a convoluted trade would need to occur unless I am missing an obvious angle here so...' whilst Torn said I was using the system to my advantage after 'allowing some dodgy trades through the cracks'. The implication there that the trades through the cracks were your trades.

Then you have Beefy saying 'The trade is fine'. MMH saying 'ah well not my problem' and then you continuning to shout.

I think 'everyone commenting' is probably hyperbole and inaccurate there.

I've already explained how that trade was fair.

This proposed trade sees 1.1 goals compared to 0.5 goals
My trade saw 0.52 goals to 0.59 goals.

Thats not comparable in terms of the actual facts.

It sounds like you are shouting at the wrong person about Reech dropping players because well...Reech was the one that dropped the players.

Didn't say anybody else commented, just showing a clear example about how you've acted on trades - which goes against your MPG ratios you're so intent on bringing this potential trade down on, even if Chris wants it more than anything and came to ME for it.

Nice effort in deflecting here (funnily enough that's what you did at the time too) but ultimately multiple other posters found the trade a joke... again, if I did 32 in 60 vs 20 in 68 then you'd without question not allow me to do the trade.

So now 2 for 1 trades are bad for the person LOSING the superstar? That's turned around from how they've been called out before.

Not much point in discussing with Reech, he isn't the issue here. He's openly had his own motives for this game since November, but since trading with you he's won 4 in 16 games, 1 point in his last 6 games, and gone from joint top to midtable. Why question the motives of Chris Scott here? Is that fair?

You've now said both 'didn't say anybody else commented' and 'multiple other posters' in the same post. Which is it?

I presented direct quotes of what people said at the time. Thats not deflecting thats stating the facts!

As I said I've used the strike rate scenario on all trades this season but I just went back just for you to look at the Harry Kane trade. The trade happened on the 30th December so prior to that these were the facts:

Harry Kane had 13 goals in 32 games and a strike rate of 0.72.
Surridge had 11 goals in 19 games and a strike rate of 0.57
McAllister had 11 goals in 27 games and a strike rate of 0.40.

0.72 compared to 0.97 is HALF of the trade you are suggesting.

Surridge was going back to the Bournemouth bench as you well know ... so what is the point of putting his numbers to suit your argument here?

I said that multiple other posters commented on the Marquis/Rory for Akinde/Afobe trade. Not the Kane trade.

And you're deflecting by commenting on my trades, rather than accepting criticism and questioning of yours.

Anybody can play with numbers to suit their argument.

Given that neither Adams nor Maynard will likely be worth a keeper status to Chris next year, the more likely way to see it is

    Chris gets:
Salah (8 games this season, 38 next) – 46 games, XGpG of 24 goals

    Rolex get:
Maynard & Adams (max 16 games, likely won’t both play each week for us though but let's say they do to give full credit) – xGpG of 14 goals

    24>14

    Chris you lucky bastard

Ultimately if this isn't allowed, despite Salah being arguably the greatest keeper in the game as he has no fear of being transferred to a higher or foreign club, and despite Chris Scott coming to me for this trade, this would mean three things for certain:

    Chris Scott will be heartbroken
BBF will allow dodgy trades for himself
BBF will not allow trades to go ahead for his competition

What a great leader we all have lads.

Cant believe Chris played the long game with The Rosk for years pretending he would do whatever, just to get to a point where he's gonna rip him off for the number one RFF player and BBF is going to foil him

It's justice for the time Rosk convinced Chris that Nick Blackman was a great goalscorer before he went 4 years without scoring another goal.

I remember Rosk trying to justify getting Leon Clarke because he hadn't scored for a fortnight. Blackman had 7 goals in 80 games, just so happened they came in the last 7 games.

If he doesn't reply today either, then if you still want it, then just post the trade Friday and it'll go ahead as he had the chance to differentiate between when he went to Reech and asked for McAllister and Marquis for Afobe and Akinde, and when you went to me and asked for Salah in exchange for Adams and Maynard, and hasn't been able to back himself up properly, so I can only assume the trade will be valid.

I'll rule on trades next season when I'm retired as a neutral observer

Not sure what'll happen though when I come out of retirement to take the squad of a title contender BBF randomly kicked out and ride to glory off the back of them earlier signing RFFs top scorer mind.

PS as a neutral observer who has been more vocal than most some of Rosk's deals being unfair

    This one is fine!

You can take this squad after this season mate. I can't work under these conditions when the ruler is a tyrant. I also like Weekly Updates when they are promised, and not forgotten about the week that blagging trades with a manager who openly doesn't care about the game anymore becomes a genuine option to fuel the results of an otherwise underperforming squad.

As if The Rosk and I have just had another bust up over whether neutral observer Andy is going to approve the appeal. We're top and won 10 in a row ffs.

But Torn is a neutral observer, and he said it was fine...?

Also - you haven't included that Salah is arguably the best keeper in the game. If you're going to do this properly, you probably should say that Chris came to us for the trade, and that it's the last week for trades where keepers will apply. But you decided to go with the way you wanted to do it to suit your argument. What a shocker.

Torn isn't a true neutral as he is playing the game.

I haven't shaped the argument with Mikey in any way. He's not an idiot. I've just sent him what you've said there though and I think he's reading through this thread now so he's got all the facts. It's not actually a big conspiracy here mate.

Mikey has just said that if Chris is the one that approached you about the trade then he'd allow. So I'm taking your word for that and the trade can go through.

Post it up and Salah is Chris'.

Could you also explain to Mikey that Liverpool play 6 of the bottom 8 for the remainder of RFF fixtures, to see what his thoughts on that are in relation to the trade?

I've certainly never tried to be dodgy. As I posted before I've looked at strike rates for all trades this season and this is (by some distance) the most lopsided in those terms.

Your strike rate concept is utter bollocks. You can't combine two players into one RFF doesn't work like that.

See drafting Salah first for him to eventually go back to Chris Scott was my plan all alone. Let him use the Badgerlona Nou Camp facilities to get warmed up then accept a good trade for him for his glorious return to (Chris Scott's) Anfield. Rosk and Billy Sharp was a convenient buffer.

    CLUB STATEMENT

I'd like to publicly apologise to all staff at Rosk Ounty for publicly questioning the club over the potential transfer of Mo Salah. It was wrong of me to air these grievances when they should have been kept in-house. Naturally everyone at the club is passionate and emotions over the transfer of a player who has offered so much to the club ran high.

I'm pleased to thank the club that they have shown the faith in me to pull the plug on the transfer of Mohamed Salah. This club pulled me from the scrapheap to make me assistant manager and our combined efforts have allowed us to move from 5 points in the first 8 games to topping the table with 55 points in 29 games and to be on track break the record for the most goals ever in a season. To be in this position from the bottom of the draft and after that start has always been a team effort and we will continue that way.

It is my belief that Salah and any other player in our squad will outperform Maynard and Adams. Mo has had a tough few weeks but faces an easier schedule, his head has never dropped in training and we firmly believe is one of the best goalscorers in the World.

What has disturbed us collectively is the administrative interruption caused by the league in this negotiation. It is unwelcome, unnecessary and will be pursued with a letter signed by multiple chairmen across the league. Ultimately we will not allow this to disrupt our title bid. Our haters are our motivators

    Cheers
    Alex

An open letter to Chris Scott

    Dear Chris,

I would like to publically thank you for your role in the fake negotiations for Mo Salah, Che Adams and Nicky Maynard. The trade, as we both know, was never on the table, but performed solely to satirise the farcical nature of hypocritical trade surveillance led by those in charge.

The mutual understanding that we have as friendly competitors in this league is untouchable, and one that I will always hold dear to my heart. I wish that at the end of the season you will finish top if we do not, but ideally second to us winning.

I wish you the best of luck for the rest of the season, and would like to personally wish Mo Salah the very best of luck for his remaining eight fixtures in the RFF Championship. Even if he scores no goals from here, he has been a real asset for the Ounty this season. Che Adams and Nicky Maynard are both fantastic strikers both well in form, and I hope that they score every game for you, shooting you up the League.

    The Rosk

In response to the management team of Rosk Ounty

    Dated: 8th March 2019.

On seeing your official statement and open letter to Chris Scott we felt it prudent to issue a response. Never has the intention been to lead the game with anything other than the best intentions. To suggest otherwise is a chargeable offence and as such the consequences are laid out as such:

Best procedure for bringing the game into disrepute: 6 points suspended

Each member of the Rosk Ounty management team is included in this ruling.

Any further breaches of the RFF disciplinary code will result in the suspended sentences coming into effect. Chris Scott also receives a 3 point suspended sentence for his part in the affair.

Unfortunately it seems that this is one of the worst seasons in memory for disciplinary breaches and the RFF board will be taking a look at the reasons for this and issuing a further statement in due course. No further comments will be issued at this time.

    The Rosk

Go and win that league mate.

In all seriousness that trade was fine and I have seen a lot worst plenty of times. (Yes some of my ones)

I'm hoping Kemar Roofe is going to pay off at some point.
