Cryme Tyme were dope. Loved their gimmick, the finisher, the dynamic was on point. Their pairing with Cena had serious potential. Hated when they were split up as I felt they needed a little more time to get established as a team people actually wanted to see split off into other things. Kind of like Enzo and Big Cass. Break up was wayyy too soon and it took about 2 minutes to realize the big one needed the little one.

    This man is a hero.

Hope I'm never in a situation like that, but I like to think I'd tell rescuers to save my child first. However, I would not stop an armed robbery like Shad did. I'd run away like a little bitch. He truly is an exceptional person, that if we were all of that caliber, the world would be an alright place.

Day later and still shook up about Shad. Not gonna be a good outcome. Hopefully the family gets closure. Can only imagine what they're going through.

She was in the pre-WrestleKingdom Stardom dark match this year. I'd seen her name a lot - she was the daughter of Kyoko Kimura and was seen as someone with huge potential by the sound of it. Tragic.

So much for that thought that only teenagers really have to worry about cyber-bullying.

Its sad to think, but if enough adults die from it or even just have to deal with it enough to talk about it, maybe somebody out there will take this shit seriously.

Japan is a pretty "connected" country. Their version of the FBI or whatever won't have too hard of a time tracking down the marks that went after her. Especially if they did it through Twitter.

Very sad. Had all the potential in the world by all accounts, as a professional wrestler but far more importantly as a person. Many of her colleagues have said she was fantastic to be around, warm, kind and infectious. Attractive women in particular have to put up with some horrid shit on social media, it's a spiteful tool in the wrong hands and, considering there's so many cruel people in the world, the consequences are severe. Yet, it can also save the lives of the lonely via connection. Very difficult to find a solution.

    It wasn't wrestling fans

She was also on a reality show called Terrace House. There was an argument on the show where she lost her temper and fans of that show were bombarding her with messages that they hated her and wanted her to die.

I'm absolutely blown away by this. For someone to take their own life in the middle of a pandemic due to cyber bullying is insane. These fandoms are the scum of the earth. I'm sick and tired of their over reactions to everything that Entertainers do. Worry about your own fucking life.

    https://rajah.com/node/more-sting-co...ng-wwe-network

While we won’t see new episodes of Undertaker: The Last Ride for a few weeks following this Sunday’s Chapter 3, WWE Network still intends to add interesting content going forward. More specifically on Sunday, May 31st, a new program will be airing on the WWE Network highlighting The Icon, Sting.

We can exclusively reveal that Sting: The Lost Tape will premiere at the end of the month and will feature never before seen and unreleased footage of Sting including interviews and other backstage highlights from the date of WCW Slamboree 1995. At that event, Sting had a match with Big Bubba Rogers in the semi-main event.

This news is perhaps notable to some because there’s been speculation among many that Sting will no longer be working with WWE on a contractual basis moving forward, though that could very well be just a rumor. Regardless, this footage should raise the eyebrow for some WWE Network subscribers looking for behind the curtain content or unreleased programming. Once again, Sting: The Lost Tape will be airing on Sunday, May 31st.

Below is the synopsis for Sting: The Lost Tape coming to WWE Network:

Featuring never-before-seen footage and interviews, cameras follow Sting backstage before his big match at WCW Slamboree 1995.
Give Taker the Sting match please.

Terrible. Saddest part is her last line "I'm sorry I'm weak" acknowledging that she just can't mentally take it.

Hey, saying those things on a message board, in a less than serious context isn't anywhere nearly as bad as saying those to a person, via social media. I say mean things about wrestlers I don't like. They're not personal attacks directed at a human being by people who should be held legally culpable for what happened.

I don't actually want to see anybody get hurt. I just like making fun of wrestlers I don't like.

WWE is finally stealing AEW’s idea of having wrestlers in the crowd which I think is long over due and now I might actually pay attention to Raw and SD.

Yeah very heartbreaking. I'm not super familiar with her work, my son is, took it pretty hard. Said she was the reason he started paying more attention to Stardom.

I thought when they had Cena out there watching 205 that it was going to be a thing, but nothing and then AEW started having people out there eventually which yeah it definitely helps!

No, but I also didn't constantly hound the person with threats or continue to push them in any direction. I got pissed off, because I was attacked first, and I said what I said. Privately.

There's a big difference between two grown men having a disagreement and throwing some insults and jabs at each other and a bunch of assholes harassing a woman, in public, with constant bullying and harassment, until she breaks mentally and does what she does.

Just like there's a big difference between me, say, calling the IIconics "talentless annoying cunts" on here and me tracking down Peyton and Billie whatever and telling them to fuck off and hang themselves from a tree over Twitter or something. There's a big difference between saying something mean and wanting a person to die. I might not care if I ever see the IIconics wrestle a match again, but I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to either of them.

I get all this but you don't know what is going to trigger someone.

Anyone at that point of their life where they could actually go and end it is dealing with all kinds of things in their head. The most innocuous of comments could set people off if everything builds up to a head.

I mean instead of calling them "talentless annoying cunts" you could just say "I'm not a fan of them". One is a lot more of a trigger than another right?

Nia/Sane incident last month as BG said. Plus with Balor and Sting being injured from it previously, the Nia incident was the last straw I guess.

Wasn't that great a move anyway tbh.

Punk makes a great point. He is so smart and well spoken. We need a man like this on the roster, but Vince would never allow it. But I'm glad he has a pedestal to potentially reach the wrestling audience.

    From the main page...
-- In an effort to promote diversity, Vince McMahon sent an email to everyone at WWE this afternoon, stressing the importance of this as well as the company's continue efforts to support it, as per pwinsider.com. Specifically, McMahon announced the following would be available to anyone who works for WWE:

Mental health counseling for anyone needing assistance, available 24/7

A dedicated email address that will be used to assess and address any diversity concerns that employees want to bring to the company's attention

-- McMahon also included links to a "number of different diversity training courses" that the company had previously made available which employees can now take for free. He then reminded everyone that WWE will support anyone who wishes to take any of those courses.

Crowds could be coming back soon too. From the main page:

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced on Wednesday the state's Phase 2 plans to reopen much of the economy beginning Friday with bars, movie theaters, and other "entertainment" in 64 of the 67 counties in Florida. Under this new order, bars will be able to open with 50% capacity indoors and full capacity outdoors, provided that proper social distancing of 6 feet is maintained between tables. The re-openings also affect movie theaters, bowling alleys and concert halls and seems to pave the way for wrestling events - WWE and AEW predominantly - to also reopen in the near future with a live audience and the same social distancing restrictions in place. WWE and AEW have been running shows in Florida at their respective locations but without any members of the general public in attendance. If this order does open the door for things to go back to "normal", expect both promotions to take advantage of it soon.

-- While other states also begin to re-open their economies, the future of wrestling "house shows" is still very much in the air as that area of the business was already losing money even without all the restrictions in place.

I read that Adam Cole's contract is up in August, from the main page.

I really, really don't like his chances on Raw or Smackdown.

Very interesting to see what he does.

Adam Cole is a guy who can't walk on his own. He's not believable, his promos are basic, and his wrestling style is basically do 4 moves everyone else does and call it a day.

But I'm extremely negative about this guy. Nothing personal, I just have no clue at all why he's over with certain fans or why promotions have given him so much. He's in the same category as Baron Corbin for me. I'm not saying Cole is shit, I can watch a match he's in if I have to but I'm don't get excited like I do with others that are featured in NXT.

They shouldn't be throwing money at him to stay that's for sure. Decent hand, but if you give any number of guys that time in front of those NXT Takeover crowds they'd be better than Cole. He had the one overkill match that worked with Gargano, the rest is just diminishing returns.

    Exactly.

And while they're at it, get rid of Mojo and Jinder. Especially Jinder. What? They can't find another dude from Toronto with a tan to play the part of India's favorite son? Look at Hassan? Homeboy was an Italian from Detroit. Abdullah the Butcher was from Ontario.

And Mojo....The only guy worse than Adam Cole is Mojo with Jinder being the worst period

Jinder is out again with a second knee surgery.

Was never bothered by the guy until that ridiculous push.

According to this on the main page the Cole rumour is untrue:

    WWE News

In an update to a recent headline that indicated that Adam Cole’s contract is set to expire this summer and that he hasn’t come to any agreement with WWE on a new deal with the possibility that he might jump to AEW, this report is actually false. I heard from multiple sources that Cole actually signed a three-year contract with WWE sometime last year, meaning he is going to be with the company for at least another two years and isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
    Sorry Nash lol

Was Rajah the only reporting it? I swear I was seeing people sharing Metlzer's comments about this and not homeboy from the main page.

WEAK. From now on, Adam Cole will simply be referred to as Male Melina.

It wasn't the push itself that bothered us, it was that it came out of nowhere, like his roided up physique, and he simply wasn't good enough to deserve it. Wrestling fans aren't as dumb as Vince likes to think we are. We aren't going to accept that someone who cannot speak well, and who has played a jobber for most of his career, will suddenly belong in the main event, let alone deserve the top strap. We will be skeptical, but we may have come around if he'd have been able to hold up his end. He was arguably outshined by the Bollywood Boyz - as they were great in their role, but Jinder still sucked. Jinder had the look, but he still managed to look like a jobber in the match made for him - the Punjabi Prison match - when of all people, the Great Khali made him look like a chump, holding up his title.

At least, the WWE learned from the mistake with Jinder and they did a better job making Drew believeable before they gave him the current monster push. But of course, the other difference is that Drew has the skills to put on a solid match.

As for Mojo - I can't tell if he's worse than Jinder, but he certainly may be, and it's a shame that talented guys haven't gotten time when the like of these manage to stay on the roster

It was the push that bothered us and you gave the reasons WHY it did. See, if he was able to hold up his end, we would have seen it way before Backlash against Orton. I just think that the WWE would have been smart to put the IC strap on Jinder if the idea was to build a fanbase in India. Sadly 2 things happened: #1, people in India don't really fuck with pro wrestling lol and #2-Even when changing the narrative via commentary, Jinder still wasn't moving the needle for the WWE.

They just assumed if someone looked like them they would be in love with the sport. I can understand that approach. If a guy from Des Moines, IA wound up their cricket team, I'd be all about that guy lol. But Jinder was an experiment that they went wayyyy too big because they knew he was going to flop. They had him juice, they put the top belt on him in the company with a long fuckin reign burying Nakamura along the way and for what?

Loads of sites were reporting it.

This Cole update actually comes from Rajah himself.

Yeah, I don't know why Vince had to push Jinder all the way to the top overnight. An IC run would have been better to test the waters. Then if India market panned out, they could have put the world title on him.

The funniest thing about the Jinder push was that you had one or two folk denying that it had anything to do with the attempted Indian expansion.

I think Vince and company thought all they had to was put the belt a Jinder and India would be a slam dunk lol.

    lol no shit.

I liked how so many wrestlers in WWE came out to defend Jinder but all they could say was "He got himself into great shape" Yeah, I'd like to see how many times he was tested for drugs lol. Nobody ever said "He improved in the ring" He's always had the ability to cut a promo that didn't sound rehearsed but it was never anything mind blowing because a lot of was straight up out of an action movie from early part of the century lol.

But ultimately the dude should have been a slow burn. I was on Hulu not that long ago and they had Superstars still on there from that 2015-2017 stretch I think, maybe 2016. So many weeks of Jinder v. Curtis Axel, Jinder v. Sin Cara, Jinder teams up with Titus to face Curtis Axel and Sin Cara. Next thing you know, the motherfucker goes from jobbing to Curtis Axel every week to beating one of the best to do it and IDC how he did it, fuck that shit. Weak shit.

I didn't like Enzo, but his "What do you eat? Air?" line to Jinder helped Jinder during that return feud and was hilarious.

    I've stolen that line since.

As obnoxious as Enzo could be, him actually cheating against Neville was actually a great heat grabber and it was a shame we never got to see a real rematch between the two. Enzo is outspoken maybe too much at times for his own good but he did put eyeballs on the CW division like no-one could.

I think Enzo/Cass could and maybe should’ve got a tag title run as they were mega over at one point. Cass was a lost sheep without him. They got broken up far too quick and Cass’s problems compounded on that just made things worse.

We also should blame the Big Show a bit for Jinder's rise out of nowhere. Show gave an interview where he explained that he saw something in Jinder that he liked, and when they had a match, Show made Jinder look like a star. Problem was, while Show is good enough to make anyone else look fantastic (especially at that stage of his career), Jinder is not capable of being in a good match unless he's been carried. And Jinder was not capable of changing up his matches enough from week to week, so he got exposed for being a dud with a great physique. A friend of mine called him the Indian version of Scott Steiner.

Scott was way more juiced but and more out there but still way ahead more entertaining than Jinder in the promo department. He was so ridiculous looking and speaking that he just had your attention. You can't help but love it, even his silly maths stuff on Samoa Joe. He could make you listen while Jinder was nothing like that and his Nakamura stuff was especially cringeworthy.

    Steiner was finer.

JBL could work, though, and he understood how to play the heel. More importantly, he was believable as the champ, even if fans didn't like it, we got invested in the story. In large part, simply because we didn't know how long JBL's title reign would last, we cared about his matches. EVERY fan knew that Jinder came from jobber to champ far too rapidly to be believed, and any smart fan knew this push was all about the attempt to enter the Indian market, so we knew Jinder wasn't losing soon enough. But again, the key element is that Jinder simply wasn't as good as JBL, he couldn't pull it off.

Bradshaw's push was undeserved above all things. He just re-appeared as JBL and we were supposed to believe he was top shit? Nah.

The whole time he was pushed, all I kept wondering was why him and when 'til it's over?
