What caught my eye their was he never went knocking on Vinces door... Not saying it would have made a difference but I'm sure I read somewhere he respects people who approach him and be upfront.

Also I'm not sure saying most of Charlotte's opponents can't work is going to help

Yeah I think that's right. Vince remembers people showing initiative. Guy was hella talented but should have spoken up a bit more to Vince more rather than stew on it. He did seemingly pitch ideas tbf but yeah maybe be more direct to him.

Also the pregnancy comments were misleading until I read that link for Charlotte's response.

So that explains why Charlotte was taken off the Mania poster. I wonder if she caught COVID while having to undergo all those tests for suspected maternity.

She had to be freaking out, for sure. Then again, I wonder if she's disappointed that she isn't pregnant.

As for Andrade, he should know that his comments about many of the women being jealous of Charlotte can't possibly help in any way, and can only hurt her.

William Shatner’s being inducted into the HOF celebrity wing. Now @Mazer has more reason to watch!

Apparently Riddle forgetting his lines was the plan.

    That makes no sense.

Then you haven't been following this guy for the last 10 years. For one he's a stoner. So that right there is plain as day going back to heavy implications during promos with Pete Dunne in NXT. Then you have him just coming across as a complete space cadet like when you started rambling about his cousin Skeeter.

Do they even film backstage segments live? there's no point to do them live.

There's a very simple fundamental point: You have to get live reps.

People would rather believe he fucked up than it's part of his airhead gimmick. He's supposed to forget what he's talking about. I can tell how many of you have never been high.

I've been high, it just seemed like he legitimately forgot his lines.

I don't watch RAW often though so I guess I didn't realize that's where they've gone with his gimmick.

Meltzer called Bad Bunny a ethnic celebrity that not many people know, did he not win a Grammy?

This is just another case of where people so deep in the wrestling bubble don't understand that not everything is done to appeal to everyone inside the bubble. Sometimes we need to bring more people into the bubble. His beloved AEW has done nothing but use celebrities WWF and WCW incorporated years ago. I guess props to them for getting ultra relevant A-listers Jay and Silent Bob which they would've been on SD had they not decided to show up on Dynamite.

So yeah...I'm not a fan of Bad Bunny but he sold $50k in merch within a matter of days so I have to imagine if he can sell that goofy ass looking merch with ease , maybe some of these wrasslers need to take notice.

My wig would be blown if any wrestler working today could sell 50k in merch as fast as this kid did, and the merch fucking sucked! It was lame, and we have to imagine he's sold more than that after 2 months.

To be fair, he's 61. He was old when Nirvana and NWA hit. I want his thoughts on Smackdown's intro music. He's probably like "See, this is one of the few times Vince gets it right...ACDC rocks!" I don't know...Dave Meltzer and people spawned from his loins are needed so we can remind ourselves at least we're not THAT guy.

I don't know. WWE is still dropping all types of merch, new merch. Maybe if it was some type of limited run merch it would sell a shit ton. But the big thing is the fact that Bad Bunny shows up and boom, 2-3 days later 50K and climbing. Idk if I believe that was due to the fanbase already watching. I could be 10000% wrong and reading the current fanbase wrong.

The fact that they both got up in arms because Omos was wearing a mauve shirt was more befuddling.

Here's a group photo from the 2020 HOF ceremony that they filmed last night. Jushin Liger and William Shatner weren't there in person. Since there's no fans present and they're filming them now anyway I think they should just have aired the HOF ceremonies this week rather than next. There's already a lot on next week and I'd imagine a lot of people would've been more able to watch it rather than trying to squeeze it in alongside Takeover/WM.

I think this might be worth noting as it pertains to bray Wyatt/The Fiend's character progression as of late:
On WWE.com's roster page, they only have The Fiend. Previously, they had both Bray Wyatt and The Fiend listed separately. Seems like the Firefly Funhouse host might be no more.

I suggested that may be their alteration on Monday on the Raw recap. Alexa's Playhouse may carry the talking element from here on out. Granted she's a good talker, but I don't know if she needs to be doing so much when Wyatt can really do work on the mic. The split personality component was something not many people could do and he pulled it off so well. Leaving him silent and extra crispy seems very misguided...so right on brand.

Bray should cocoon himself and every week Alexa can listen and see if he's ready to hatch. When Bray finally emerges, he takes the shape of a gigantic firefly and fights the Gobbledy Gooker.

They should have had Titus as the Warrior Award for 2020, and Shad for Warrior Award 2021.

Damn right I would the last time I was in a Denny's some lady was murdered in the bathroom. Completely unrelated to me being there obviously but it scarred me for life.

Dang. I've really missed her. I went back and watched her match against Sasha Banks and that was probably her best title defense. Her run definitely felt like they wanted to get every possible match out of her just in case. She pretty much wrestled everyone that we wanted to see her throw down against so if she doesn't come back we at least have good to great matches. From someone keep in mind that was barely a year in the business training as she went along pretty much.

She wanted kids, that's why she left because she wanted to get pregnant.

I'm well aware of why she left. I'm speaking from a WWE point of view where maybe they felt that she might not like what she's doing since she was a rookie. I don't know, maybe they had some discussion at the very beginning that she would give it an exact year and then go try to get pregnant. You'd know more than me.

She said her getting pregnant is a long story she’d tell later. I wonder if she had to do IVF or IUIs.

I read an interview of hers years ago where she was talking about how she didn't want no soft dude in bed. Talked about wanting to be thrown around and wild shit so I imagine Travis Browne probably broke her in half he's like 7ft tall lol.

Yeah just from personal experience it could easily take that long, or longer, if that’s what she had to do.

100% worked. She cut a promo shitting on everyone and if that were CM Punk oh it'd be a PIPE BOMB but it was a heel that people in real life don't like for whatever reason so it must be real lol.

Nia Jax just tweeted some shit the other day about being the black sheep and Tamina getting everyone's love. The sheets ran with that and I'm like, they're fucking feuding!

You find the death of someone who saved their son from drowning comical?

So quick to write up a letter about what Hogan said but basically only show support to my community when you can pat yourself on the back for it? Makes sense. I expect it out of these other idiots.

ND, it was clear to everyone but you that Donald was not at all joking about Shad's tragic, heroic death. He was making light of the fact that when Peter called him "big Shad", the immediate response from WWXChairman was that they plan to give it to "Shad" (not big Shad) at a later date.

I have no problem with you frequently bringing up my letters to WWE about Hogan. I won't change my opinion that Hogan is and always has been a piece of shit. I have softened my opinion of WWE towards him, however, because they know how the rest of the roster is reacting better than I do. Hogan went out of his way to talk about how he was the victim, and spoke far far less about how he regretted his hurtful comments that came when he was in a really low period in his life. He should have emphasized more about how he should have raised his daughter better, how he should have trusted her to make her own decisions and she can choose to be with whoever she prefers.

When did I ever say that I thought Donald was being serious? The whole point was that it wasn't funny, a man who died saving his son-who could've died as well, isn't exactly the moment we need a Donald dad joke.

My apologies. Most of the time I would laugh, but for someone that died doing something extremely heroic I just can't find humor in it. I'm a father of 4, the last thing I'd want is you guys making fucking jokes about my death trying to save one of them because "that's how you deal".

For the record, Donald is still one of the only people on this board I give a shit about, that's why I said something whereas in the past I'm the only person defending him.

I won't joke about your death trying to save one of your kids.

But I will likely enjoy a joke that I don't see as about nor really connected to your death.

When I'm gone, I sure as hell don't want people to avoid joking about me.

Then why was it cool for Donald to joke about Shad's death? So no jokes about my death, or your death, but Shad=ok?

He's going to be doing a Moxley you'd think. No point pissing about in WWE if he can enjoy himself more elsewhere. I imagine he's made his money so he can do bucket list stuff now - Tokyo Dome main event, Arena Mexico hair vs. hair, while earning his prime crust working once a fortnight for AEW. No brainer for him.

Cannot blame him. He is knocking 40, 2 young kids, got a tonne of cash so much better to pick and choose rather than the horrible WWE full time requirements. Doubt he would get a Lesnar type deal.

    Bryan/Omega = yes please.

Imagine if AEW signed him and Punk.

If we did in fact see his WWE last match on Smackdown last week, that's a terrific way to go out. Does Edge step back into the SD main event?

He's going to wind up in a fucking wheelchair made of hemp lol. I remember the first time he came back after Mania 30 and had Harper do a half nelson suplex right off the bat. Then what, 2 months later he was back on the shelf for a few years?

I definitely would like to see him wrestle against some of the top guys outside of WWE that he either hasn't wrestled in forever or not at all.

Yay more old dudes taking tv time from talent that nobody even cares about because another 40+ that was popular 10 years ago showed up.

Meh, Punk and Bryan can no doubt still go and would be happy to put future stars over no doubt. It isnt like 73 year old Goldberg coming back and eating people up is it.

I’m gonna guess if Punk wanted to come back, he’s had offers to do so.

Daniel Bryan has never had any issues putting people over and he's basically been doing that since he debuted on NXT when he was like 0-5 before getting sent home, some kind of "Fuck this indy star" booking.

CM Punk.......I guess it would depend on who it is. He wasn't exactly putting over new talent when he was there. I mean, he did beat The Shield on his own. Did Curtis Axel or Ryback ever get a pinfall/submission win over him?

If CM Punk comes back to WWE-he'll look like a total punk no pun intended. He's never coming back. If he was going to he would've by now. We can talk about Bret, Bruno, etc. but he hates Triple H more than he hates Vince so what does that tell you? So if he's not coming back for Vince he sure as fuck isn't coming back for anyone else.

I think Punk stated that it was stupid for him to beat the Shield by himself. One of the reasons he left no doubt.

I'm also curious to see if CM Punk CAN still go. He hasn't wrestled in 7+ years. I think he can, he was never great but that's ok. He was one of my absolute favorites of the last 20 years, in my top 20 of all time. I just think the ship has sailed.

He said while bitching about how they wanted him to make Roman look strong. So I assume the deal was, "If I have to make Roman look strong I have to look stronger!"

I don't think Punk wrestles again. He doesn't need the money and doesn't love the industry, so it would need to be a good angle. Essentially he's at his best as a heel promo guy, but how do you bring him in like that? Like you can play the don't like the fans card as to why he left, but what would the motivation be to come back as a character?

Right off the bat he's a babyface no matter what. Nobody currently or that could turn babyface would be able to make it work. The % of us that see the wrong in what Punk did by leaving still understand more why he left. Was it ideal? No, but come on--How is Triple H or Vince the babyface if we were already bitching about the product before Punk went to OVW.

So you bring him in as the ultimate savior, you make it 90% shoot. Maybe even use him the same way the WWF used Vince's interview about having "ATTITUDE" to benchmark a change in direction. He drops pipebomb 2.0 basically but through a series of promos, matches, and angles.

It will NEVER happen though. It might start out that way, but the WWE having egg on their face will never be something they admit publicly without sticking it to someone even worse. Like when they told us they were going to start listening to us....well they did but I think they just meant "oh they're turning the channel when Lana and Lashley are on, oh well let's see what Belize thinks!"

CM Punk wants a story to come back. He wants some cinematic masterpiece where he's the lead.
That couldn't sound less interesting to me.

Bryan and Punk go to AEW, ratings explode through the roof and there is world peace.

They would finally get that 2 I've been hoping for.

    This x100000.

AJ Lee left right as the women's division was finally catching up to her. She was also the most interesting aspect of WWE for a long time and it's a shame that she gets almost no credit for being one of the top draws right there with CM Punk, Bryan, Cena, etc.

I agree that AJ is sorely missed, but from what I have read about her, it sounds like she's not only gotten to a good place with her own mental health, she has become quite the advocate for mental health issues. She has helped many many people, and she may never know how many lives she has positively impacted.

I still dig that crazy chick. But if ever there was a wrestler who deserved to live happily ever after, it'd be AJ Lee.

I'll put the tag on, just in case this actually materializes since it's not formally official.

I suppose it may tally with some recent vignettes.
