I enjoyed Season 5.

I'm not quite as high as Mrs. mazer, who named it her favorite season, but I definitely enjoyed it.

Chozin was wonderful. Over the top, completely ridiculous set-up, but you ended up really liking him. Cora Kai in a nutshell.

Once again, Johnny brought a lot of fine moments. I didn't know that I needed Johnny team-ups with Chozin and Mike Barnes, but I did.

I enjoyed that we've got some relief from the Robby/Miquel/samantha/Torry quadrilateral. It was effective, but it was time to give them all some resolution.

Finally finished it. So so good.

Glad that Chozin was alright and Silver got arrested. The twist ending with Kreeze was fantastic. Jello-proof vest kept him alive after the stabbing!

Fantastic season. The season 3 finale was my favourite up to now, but season 5’s might be the best.

Chozen was an absolute joy from start to finish. I loved him going undercover at Cobra Kai and his off-screen assault of Mike Barnes’ store workers.

The misdirect with Mike was fun. While I liked him helping out at the final battle at Silver’s house, it’s a shame that the stuntman who did the big leaping attack didn’t look anything like the actor. It reminded me of some fights from Buffy and Angel where it was a bit too obvious when the actors ducked out of the scene.

I’m glad they didn’t drag out the story with Miguel and his Dad. It gave an excuse for Johnny and Robby to kick ass and built towards the conclusion of Miguel vs Robby.

There were some terrific cliffhangers in the first half of the season. I binged this at a ridiculous pace.

Compared to season 4, the female characters were used a lot better this season. Sam dealt with her guilt over losing the tournament match, Tory was caught between Silver and Kreese, Devon had more development, Amanda and Vanessa had more to do and Kim was a nice addition to the bad guys.

This could have been the series finale, were it not for the brilliant twist with Kreese. I wonder how much longer they can go. The high quality they’ve maintained with such a simple formula is really impressive.

This show is amazing given how simplistic of roots it has. One of the best if not the best show currently being made.

This season I feel they stepped it up and got much more brutal with it.
I loved Chozen. I feel he stole many scenes. One thing I didn't like tho was how he was found out to be a spy so fast when he got into Cobra Kai as a sensei.
The addition of the Kim character was great. She gives the look and feel of a high level sensei. I liked how she knocked Silver down a peg by telling him things about his strategy at times not being good.
I didn't like Mike Barnes in this that much. He may grow on me more when I watch this season again at some point tho.
I don't like Kenny being pushed to be a big time heal. He's only been training for such a short amount of time that it doesn't seem to be that believable that he is that much of a threat as they make him seem at times. Also Him being picked by Silver to represent Cobra Kai wasn't a good choice imo. I get why he did but I just didn't like that idea.
I didn't like the Tory working with Kreese storyline. I was glad when it ended lol.
Kreese getting out at the end was awesome and will bring it back to how it was earlier on in the series and movies.
All of the relationship drama between Robby, Miguel, Sam and Tory getting repaired was well written. The Robby and Miguel fight scene at the apartment was good too.
I love how far Hawk has come as a character.
I liked the fight scene that Jessica, Amanda and Sam were involved in.
The big ending battle at Silvers place was brutal and just awesome.

So much has happened that i'm not sure how much further they can go but I am here for all of it and can't wait for season 6. I will be sad when this show ends for good.

Probably on balance the right decision. Go out while on top.

Probably Kreese since he faked his death and escaped. Daniel and Johnny set him up to get info so he’ll likely want revenge.
