    MMA Teams Of Yesterday

    Chute Box.

    Miletich Fighting System.

    The Pit.

    Team Hammer House.

What are some good MMA teams that have either gone bye bye or under the radar that you remember?

Hm, gotta be the Seattle Tiger Sharks and the New York Pit-bulls...

Nah, seriously though; Brazilian Top Team was on top of the world back in the Pride days, they had Big Nog, Diet Nog, Ricardo Arona, Mario Sperry, Paolo Filho and Murillo Bustamante among others and their rivalry with Chute Boxe was pretty legendary. Ditto for Team Quest back when they had Hendo, Randy Couture, Matt Lindland, Chael Sonnen and Evan Tanner. Xtreme Couture isn't mentioned nearly as much these days as it used to be back in the day of Randy, Forrest Griffin, Martin Kampmann and Gina Carano. I think Bas Rutten was a trainer there as well.

Those teams are still around but nowhere near as prominent these days.

    IFL haha

    Lion's Den.

    Team Punishment.

Now obviously some if not all of these teams are still open today. I just saw Rory Markham fought last year under the MFS banner. I'll have to bust out an older UFC game to find out a few others I'm missing. Team Sityoudang is another one that stands out.

Man, Rory Markham, had forgotten about him. His lone UFC win is still one of my favorite KO's.

Team Oyama was fairly well known back in the day, pretty much only because of Rampage Jackson. UK's Wolf's Lair had Bisping, Rampage and Kongo at one time, haven't heard anything about them in years.
