I have to say that I'm enjoying the game much, much more since switching to Competitive. I don't know why but the game just plays better. I switched in my single player CFM too to play test it and whilst my number of interceptions has gone through the roof when I finish a game I now want to play another instead of wanting to rage-uninstall.

I'm on the opposite spectrum and agree with Beefy. Easy to say after I won big but things just feel fairer and when I give up a pick it's tied to a bad decision from me. I lost in preseason but felt like it was more enjoyable then too. Good stuff so far and much less rage inducing RNG 'moments' which I think will help the user games a lot too
Yeah thats a point, I will need to check that. To be honest though I think its because my timing is off and I try to run before I even catch it.
The game itself didnt feel bad but as I was playing Alex's team its hard to tell as I was facing Cam Newton who is fine when facing the Panthers but when he has good WR's etc to pass to he is an absolute nightmare as he just scrambles all the time if not. (realistic but so frustrating).
There is certainly potential in the set up though. Other than a stupid fumble from the slide button being shit I cant complain about any of the turn overs.

Downside of the change is that the game is an absolute piece of piss now vs the computer. I've given up two TDs in my last four games and both were pick sixes.

Also odd that Morri hasn't chimed in whether he's going to get his game in or not. He's normally good at keeping us updated.
Give it a game or two to get used to how it plays and you'll be fine.
I'd rather not take a break tbh. We tend to get through a lot of games at this time of year.

sorry. schedule has been weird and a lot of free time had been spent revolving around Christmas prep. i got time to play after work today, so in about 4 to 5 hours, but I'm more than fine going on auto for this week and playing the week 2 game when i get home instead.

lost to the cardinals 10-9. had a hard time getting blount going. passing was much better. i had two trips to the red zone, one ended with a wentz rushing td, and the other ended with blount fumbling on the goal line, a cardinal recovering it and running backwards into the endzone and being tackled for a safety. bizarre play. missed a 58 yd fg cause i went early on the downswing. had a chance to win it with a two minute drill, but they were bringing blitzes from each side so i took two sacks, then got off a mid-range lob to ebron but he was probably tired and couldnt make it, so it was easily picked off to end the game. mad about losing such a close game, but that pick to end the game felt super realistic. i was in hurry up and all out passing and i eventually made a mistake.

Missed a 57 yard field goal at the end to take it to OT where Cousins hit on a third and 20 from midfield to take them to the two yard line and they scored next play on a slant.

Yeah you have Mikey, Torn and Matthew. So those are probably losses. But that's only 3 games. You don't need to go 13-3 to make the playoffs. You can lose a couple games and be fine. Especially since there's no players in your division. Go for the division.

I took the W. Some uncharacteristic throws from kdest that led to INTs were the key.
Turnover battle wasn't in my favor even though I forced 2 fumbles. Defenders were either not sticking to their zone or taking another defender out of the game.
I decided to use a different playbook than what I have been, boy was that bad
