Somehow I still think I'm having more fun than most of you guys because everyone seems to hate this game and I still think it's incredible. I just want to get a bit better or whatever. Also these fantasy teams don't seem that good. we should allow everyone to have an Open Season that is scheduled so we are all able to get everyone online at the same time and do whatever trades we want to knowing that we are going to redraft next season.
otherwise we should just start over because it really seems like everyone hates the game right now and this league is one of the best parts of the entire forum.

I really don't care if we keep these teams or not it just seems like we are losing good players and that there are more people who dislike this game then who actually like it. It's at least worth of retry on the format. Even if the base game sucks it might be fun to try something different.

I dont hate the game I just hate life in general right now and being messed around by a game is not something I want to do right now. I am just happy to sit there and play Stardew Valley in a semi comatose state instead of having a near heart attack getting annoyed by EA balancing stuff. Because I know Stardew Valley wants me to have fun and enjoy myself.

Honestly I've been toying with uninstalling the game - I'm just not enjoying M18 at all and this after several years of putting a lot of hours into Madden. It isn't anything to do with our league and these teams, it's just something feels off with this version. I don't know.
That said, I've loads of time on my hands right now so playing one or two games a week isn't exactly a hardship.
I do feel there's definitely some negativity around the league this year and not just around Torn & MMH's recent posts. When was the last time we had more than one or two people watching a game? The last Super Bowl I'd guess?

Ha, it isn't. I never needed OBJ! I've got a Giants game running too and honestly Beckham barely gets the ball because it seems like they really nerfed a lot of WR1 runs this year. Which is fine but I find there's so many easy plays that it doesn't make any difference. That's part of my problem - I seem to allow myself to get into running through games with five or six different play calls only and any time I'm third and long it's a piss-easy conversion to the slot guy because four verts is somehow even more broken this year.
But yes hopefully post-season should be fun and I'm genuinely excited about our week 15 and week 17 divisional deciders.

I'm enjoying the season just fine but am totally down to restart after the super bowl with NORMAL rosters. I think I can name 6 players on my team right now. If I could play as a real team I'd have more awareness since my knowledge of real NFL rosters would carry over. The random draft thing was never my preference.

I'm still really enjoying every aspect of the franchise mode. I think the later seasons are always a bit better as we each have rookies so there's more emotional attachment to them

it's basically a fantasy football draft with the overpowered cards from the ultimate team mode. so you get stud players and legends and then go head to head with another team.
i'm with you on it feeling off, though surprisingly i havent had any thoughts about fucking off out of the league. it's felt better since one of the more recent patches, but even then it's so inconsistent. i really think some of the mechanics they introduced this year, like the db/wr line of scrimmage stuff and the target passing, somehow fundamentally fucked with the basic core gameplay, even if you're not triggering that stuff manually while playing. i'm basically back to a run heavy, dink and dunk offense after having an actual passing attack last year, which was fun as hell and opened the game up for me, so it's disappointing.
That's it exactly. Aside from those third down conversion attempts I mentioned I never even look downfield this year.
I honestly think it's just getting used to the way the game plays. It's a bit different this year, but it feels good to me. I've also logged a fair amount of time into MUT this year, so that might be part of it too.

im off monday and tuesday this week and dont go in until 5pm wednesday through friday. id prefer the late night option over any option that involves the morning time.
Tuesday should work for me. I will probably end up back before midnight, but anytime late that evening will work for me. I will shoot for 11pm my time on Tuesday, but will let you know if that becomes something different
cool. i do have to go and do my monthly inventory at work once we close for the night on tuesday, but im usually done and home by 11:30 my time, so that shouldnt be an issue.
