It was one of those movies that was always played when I was a kid. The Monster Squad, Beetlejuice, ET, and Flight of the Navigator were some other ones. Just always played by someone in my family. Love them all.

I didn't watch it until after I started listening to ICP. It's such a bizarre movie.

Almost Famous is such a great movie. They just did a podcast about it for the 20th anniversary. Origins with James Miller. Really good listen.

My oldest daughter has been a fan of this movie since she was a little kid. For her birthday last year I bought her the special edition blu ray release that comes with a small poster.

This is one of those movies you'd see on USA Up! All Night or at 1am on TNT. Once in awhile you'd catch it on a movie channel but I remember seeing it on cable more than anything.

That's my ex's go-to. It's her favorite movie too so that doesn't hurt. Great movie.

i dont watch movies repeatedly, very often. i'll go years and years inbetween viewings. as big of a batman fan as i am, and as good as begins is, the dark knight is the absolute top choice for film i really cant get enough of. i saw it five or six times in theaters, obviously snapped up the blu-ray when that came out, and there was a period of time where it was playing pretty constantly on cable, and i would always tune into it until at least after joker escapes from jail. that length of the film, from the start of transporting harvey dent to the moment he wakes up and finds the scarred coin batman left, is probably my favorite set of scenes in a movie, ever. i feel like a kid anytime i watch it.

Every December I’ll do a LOTR marathon (extended edition, obviously) with my group of friends.

Christmas Vacation is an annual holiday staple.

Top Gun and the original Die Hard are must watches whenever they’re on TV.

The Fast series I could watch on repeat and never get tired of.

Agreed about the Fast & Furious movies. Especially 1 and 5-7. Just great action films that hold up well.

Oddly enough, “Tokyo Drift” might just be my favourite film in the series. The introduction and development of the Han Seoul-Oh character, who is by far my favourite; the setting and the new style of racing is also pretty cool. Plus, the post-credits Dom Torretto appearance solidified the idea that there was at least one more Fast movie in the pipeline.

I’m really hoping for a Suki appearance in one of the final films, I feel like they missed out on a potentially badass character.
